Lincoln Loud was always a careful boy. He had to be. In a family as big as his, you had to expect the unexpected. But nothing could prepare him for what happened to him. Ask anyone who knows otherwise. Routine is the one thing that can get you killed. It tells the enemy where you're going and when you're going to be there. Routine was going to get Lincoln Loud in danger. Of course, he had no idea of all. It all happened one Saturday when he was walking home from Gus' games and grub. He decided to walk home rather than getting a lift home from Lori or Leni. Besides he felt like he could use the exercise. But to his mind, something was bothering him as he walked. As he walked home, he thought things were a little weirder than usual. He just brushed it off as he walked past a blue police box.
Lincoln just continued on his way home. He didn't even notice the blue box. All that mattered to him was getting home before his curfew. He checked his watch. It was 6:45 pm. But as he walked by an abandoned house on the corner of Franklin Ave, something unexpected happened to him. Some sort of robot burst out of the rusty garage door yelling "EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!" and rolled straight towards him. He didn't have time to cry out in shock!
Intro: Doctor Who theme 2008
In the next two months after the event, Lincoln's family were terrified by his sudden disappearance. They searched everywhere for him but there was no sign of him. The Police had closed off the abandoned house where he was last seen. According to reports, Lincoln hadn't been the first to go missing. There had been reports of children going missing all across Royal Woods for a while now. A troubleshooting squad from England had been called in but they wouldn't arrive for days. Back at the Loud House Lincoln's sisters were scared about what might've happened to him. Even though Lori was supposed to be back at college, She decided to stay home to comfort her sisters. But the one who was the most worried about Lincoln was Lola. She was worried that she would never see her brother again. But if she knew what was gonna happen to her, She wouldn't have worried about her brother. But she didn't, it did and ... Well, here we are.
Lola was walking home after a successful pageant win. She'd recently won the Little Miss Dancer pageant, so she was dressed in a pink tutu, white tights and special pink pointe shoes. She decided to walk home to clear her head. Even though she won the pageant, she was still sad that Lincoln was missing. Ever since her big brother disappeared, her parents had somehow forgot that Lincoln ever existed. Yeah, completely forgot about him. But She and her sisters still remembered Lincoln as a member of the family. Even though they were doing everything to find their brother, they had uncovered no new leads on Lincoln's location. She was anxious that she would ever see her brother again. She held her breath as she walked by the old house where Lincoln was last seen. Then she gasped in surprise. Standing in the yard, past the police tape was a young man wearing a navy blue trench coat over a white button-up shirt, with a grey knitted tie, a brown and turquoise checkered-tartan waistcoat with lapels along with a pair of matching trousers, and papyrus coloured Converse shoes.
"Happened here, did it?" he asked. "Hello?" Lola asked in confusion. "Do I know you?" Then it clicked in her mind. She met that man when she was getting ready with her sisters help. The man clicked his fingers. "The girl from the pageant! Congrats on the win by the way. Hello, I'm the Doctor." He gently kissed Lola's hand who blushed. "Lola. Lola Loud." The young pageant princess introduced herself. The Doctor smiled at her and pulled out a small blue torch and shone it at the house, waving it like a wand.
"Can I help you?" Lola asked, looking confused. The Doctor waved his hand. "I'm looking for the thing." He said vaguely, looking at the torch. Lola just shrugged. She was about to continue on her way home when she thought about her brother's disappearance. She slipped her backpack off her back and ducked under the police tape. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." The Doctor said, not taking his eyes off the torchlike device. But Lola didn't listen. Curiosity had gotten the better of her as she peeked through one of the web-covered windows. She couldn't see inside much. She tried the door. it was unlocked! She looked over her shoulder. The Doctor was observing the shape that was left in the garage door. She silently slipped through the front door.
Inside, dust and cobwebs hung all over the place. Lola slipped through as quickly and quietly as she could. She wasn't as sneaky as her older sister Lucy, but she did try her hardest not to make a noise. She silently blew on a door that was covered in dust and pushed it open. As she tiptoed quietly (well, as quietly as she could), she felt something touch her in the back. Lola stifled a scream and turned quickly around. There was a statue of a weird sci-fi robot behind her.
Lola sighed in relief. She wasn't usually this jumpy. Maybe her nerves were finally getting the better of her. After all, her brother did disappear in this old house. She looked at the statue. "Wow. Linky would've loved this." She whispered in amazement. She looked around the room. There seemed to be millions of these statues in the room. Lola dusted one of the statues near where she was. Just then, to her surprise, the statue spoke! "Re-activating... Re-activating..." Lola gasped in surprise as the statue moved towards her! "Hostile located! Do not move!" It shouted at her. Soon the other statues were moving too! And they were talking in a very weird way too. " Daleks conquer and destroy!" "You will be exterminated!" " Exterminate, annihilate, destroy!" " Enemies of the Daleks will be exterminated!" Lola screamed in terror.
Just then, one of the robots turned towards the door that Lola came through. "Alert! Alert! The Doctor is detected." It said, it's voice like an alarm. That got the other's attention. Lola had her eyes closed in fear but she heard the commotion going on around her. "The Doctor is surrounded!" "The Doctor must be exterminated!" "Inform High Command! We have the Doctor. Seek, locate, destroy!" Lola was too terrified to move but she felt someone grab her hand. She looked up and saw the Doctor. But before she could say anything, he whispered one thing to her. "Run!"
Lola held onto The Doctor's hand as they ran out of the house. Unfortunately, the robots noticed them. As they fled, she heard one of the robots yell behind them. "It is The Doctor! We have located him! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!" As Lola ran, she heard The Doctor muttering to himself. " It's funny though, 60 minutes ago I was this really brilliant woman, and now I've got this old face back again. I mean, why? Why? It's a mystery to me right now." Lola was confused but she kept holding on to the Doctor's hand. She didn't want to let go! A few seconds later, they were outside the house. The Doctor handed Lola her backpack. "Thanks." She wheezed as she caught her breath and put her backpack on. But the Doctor wasn't listening to her. He was looking back at the abandoned house with a scowl on his face. "Typical Daleks!" He muttered as he pulled out his blue torch. "What is their fascination with Earth? That's MY fascination! There ought to be a law."
Lola was getting a little fed up with this. "Hey, uh, listen, I've - I've had enough excitement for one day, So, uh, thanks for the save but I gotta get home before my parents call the cops on-" But before she could finish what she was about to say, the robot that she had dusted off rolled out of the garage door! "The Doctor is surrounded!" It said. Lola started to turn towards home but the Doctor stopped her. "Not that way." He said pointing to a blue police box. "You'll be safer there." "What!?" Lola yelled. She was really getting mad right now, But she decided not to question him. As she ran towards the box, The Doctor pulled out his torch and flashed at the robot. Somehow it cried out in pain and a bit of it burst into flames. The Doctor ran towards the box as the robot yelled. "Alert! Alert! The Doctor is escaping!" Lola watched as he sprinted over and opened the door. "Are you coming?" The Doctor asked. Lola just rolled her eyes in disbelief but looked behind and saw more robots were coming after them! Realising she had no choice, She took a deep breath, closed her eyes and stepped inside the box, pulling the door shut behind her.
"Lola? Are you ok? You can open your eyes now. We're safe." Lola could hear the Doctor's voice but she wasn't convinced that they were safe. "No thanks! I'll keep them closed. The robots might be still outside! They'll follow us in!" She said, her voice about to break. "The assembled hordes of Genghis Khan couldn't get through that door, and believe me, they've tried. Now, open your eyes." The Doctor replied. Lola groaned in annoyance but reluctantly did what the Doctor said. When she opened her eyes, she couldn't believe what she saw! The Doctor was standing near a futuristic control console and was admiring the room they were in.
"Now THIS is a blast from the past, Old girl!" The Doctor said, obviously impressed. Lola couldn't believe her eyes. "What ... what is this?" Lola asked, finally finding her voice. "And how come all of this can fit in one box?" The Doctor smiled at her. "It's bigger on the inside." Lola looked at the room in disbelief and before she could stop herself, she started to cry. She'd been teasing her brother for years but she never thought that it would be real. Just then she felt The Doctor's arms around her. "It's ok. You're safe now." He said, his tone sounding so comforting. "All these years... I thought he was crazy. But now... something that happens in those films he watches happens to me! I really miss Linky!" she sobbed. "Linky?" The Doctor asked. Lola sniffed as she tried to collect herself while she sat down. "My brother. He loved science fiction. My sisters and I made fun of him for that. But after all that's happened, I'm ashamed about it now! I failed him as a sister!" Lola was so upset by this thought that she broke down crying again.
The Doctor just nodded as he comforted the crying princess. Lola cried heavily for a few more seconds. " Culture shock. Happens to the best of us." The Doctor muttered to himself. Finally, Lola managed to collect herself. "Sorry about that." She apologised before looking around the room. "So I take it this is yours?" The Doctor nodded as he checked a nearby monitor. " It's called the TARDIS. T-A-R-D-I-S. That's Time And Relative Dimension In Space." Lola headed towards the door. "I better get home, Mum and Dad will ground me if I'm not home soon." But to her surprise when she opened the door, she gasped in surprise. Outside she could see the earth below and it made her feel kinda small.
"I'm ... I'm in space!" Lola gasped in disbelief. For a few minutes, she sat outside the TARDIS, taking in the view. The Doctor sat down next to her. "You lot." He said, smiling. "You think astronauts are the only ones that see this view. Well they're not. I see it a lot." "So this is some sort of spaceship?" Lola asked as she stared out at the Earth. "Not just a spaceship. The TARDIS also travels through time." The Doctor explained. Lola sniffed as she looked down. "Hey I think I can see my house from here!" She joked. The Doctor smiled at her. "Pretty amazing huh?" "So I take it you're not from here?" Lola asked, curiosity getting the better of her. "No Lola, I'm not." The Doctor said. "Um, Okay." Lola said. She immediately regretted asking that question.
The Doctor headed back to the console and started flicking some switches. "Now I just gotta triangulate the signal that i locked onto back at the house." Lola looked over her shoulder. "I'm afraid to ask, but what were those things? You know, the robots that were back at the house." Lola asked. "Daleks. Killing machines from the Planet Skaro. I've run up against them a few times." The Doctor replied. "What?! What are they doing here on Earth?" Lola asked in disbelief. "If I know them, and I do they're gonna try and destroy this planet." The Doctor replied, not showing any sign that he was joking. "Like one of the villains in Lincoln's comics?" Lola asked. The Doctor nodded. "This is terrible! We gotta do something!" Lola cried. "Working on it now. I tracked down the Daleks to that house, but now I see we got a bigger problem to deal with. Now can I have some quiet please? I need to make a call." The Doctor reached for a nearby phone at the console and dialed in a number. Even though she was looking down at the earth, Lola could hear who was on the other end. "This is the Unified Intelligence Taskforce. Please select one of the following four options. If you want to-" " Oh, I hate these things." The Doctor groaned. Lola closed the doors of the TARDIS and pressed the 0 button on the phone. "Thanks." The Doctor whispered, as a new voice came through the phone. "UNIT helpline. Which department would you like?" "Listen, it's the Doctor. It's me. I need you to put me through to Kate Lethbridge Stewart-" The Doctor started to say. "Uh Doctor, I should probably get back home." Lola reminded him. The Doctor nodded and not letting go of the phone, he yanked the dematerialisation lever.
Back at the Loud House, The other Loud sisters were getting worried. It was late and Lola hadn't returned home yet! All of the sisters (except for Lynn who was out looking for Lola) were in Lori and Leni's room for a sibling meeting. All of them were in the same outfit as Lola but their tutus and pointe shoes were their signature colours (apart from Lucy who was wearing all black). Lori banged her shoe on the dresser. "I think we all know why we're here." She said, getting straight to business. But before she could continue, a weird noise came from the front yard.
Lori and the others carefully headed to the front yard and watched in disbelief as a police box mysteriously appeared and Lola happily exited it. "LOLA! Are you okay?" Lori gasped in relief. Lola happily hugged her. "Lori, i didn't mean to worry you. I- I just... took the long way home. " "Why did Mum and Dad put us on a family plan if you're not going to text us?" Lori asked. Lola could hear the concern in her voice. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to worry you guys, I- I love you guys and I'm sorry." Lori and her sisters hugged her. Lori and her sisters hugged her. "I don't know what we'd do if anything ever happened to you, okay? We lost Lincoln, we're not gonna lose you." Lori said, looking at Lola with tears in her eyes. "Thanks Lori." Lola smiled. Just then a young man poked his head out of the box. He was odd-looking, youngish and oldish all at once. He looked at the Loud House quickly and turned to Lola. "Y' know, this place really needs some fixing up." He said. Lola nodded. "Uh, who's this?" Luan asked, a little confused. Lola turned around with an awkward smile on her face. "Uh, girls this is-" The Doctor was at the porch when he completed the introduction. "-The Doctor! Hello! Lovely place you got here. I need to check the place out for a minute." Luna raised an eyebrow. "Hey, are you British or something?" "Something, that's me, definitely. Lola, I'll need your help here." The Doctor replied, not taking his eyes off of the Loud House. Lola nodded and followed him inside.
As soon they were safely inside the house, The Doctor was shining his torch around as they checked every room they entered. "Uh, what is that?" Lola asked as he checked it. "Sonic screwdriver. Well, I say screwdriver, but it's a bit more multi-purpose than that. Scanner, diagnostics, tin opener. More of a sonic Swiss Army knife." The Doctor replied before taking another scan with the device. "Seems like a signal's coming from both upstairs and downstairs." He said, taking a look at the results. here?" Lola asked. "I dunno. But the Daleks are drawn to that like moths to a light. we gotta stop them here and now!" The Doctor said, scratching his head."What's going on here?" Lori asked as she and the other sisters entered the house. "Look, long short, aliens are going to be invading this town and I'm the only one that can stop them." The Doctor said, scanning the room with the Sonic Screwdriver. "There's no such thing as extraterrestrials street name aliens!" Lisa exclaimed. "Why not? I'm alien and I'm here." The Doctor replied smiling. "You don't look like a alien." Lana said. "Alright, I had it up to here! Who are you?" Lori yelled, getting impatient. The Doctor had a serious look on his face as he said these words. " I'm the Doctor. I'm a Time Lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous. I am over a thousand years old and I'm the man who's going to save your lives. You got a problem with that?" The Loud sisters (apart from Lola) were shocked by this but said nothing. "Uh, Doctor we got a bigger problem right now." Lola reminded the Time Lord. "Right, sorry. Anyway Allons-Y!" The Doctor said.
While her sisters (apart from Lily who was happily babbling all the time) were complementing what was happening, Lola was up in Lincoln's room because that was where The Doctor located the signal that was coming from the upstairs area.
