A lone woman walked down a darkened street, munching on a late-night snack. She noticed another girl up ahead, wearing a cap with her head bowed.

"Hey, are you alright?" the woman called out in concern, approaching the silent figure.

Suddenly, the woman gasped, clutching her chest. She collapsed to the ground, dead from a sudden heart attack.

The mysterious girl lifted her head, revealing herself to be Kaede, now in her late teens. She stared impassively at the body.

"When did I stop resisting the voice that tells me to kill?" she murmured. Lost in thought, Kaede continued walking.

"Maybe if I just keep taking lives, I could make a world only for myself," she considered, but with a sad expression. But then her thoughts turned to that horrific day on the train, when she had slaughtered Kouta's innocent family. The remorse still haunted her.

On the topic of her past, Kaede's mind drifted to Kakarot. Did he ever truly care for her? She sighed heavily.

She contemplated the answer in her head before finally coming to a conclusion. "I know he cared in his own way, even if he refused to show it," she concluded. "But it doesn't matter now. He's gone and I have to accept that."

It was painful to do so. What might have been, had fate not intervened? Could they have found happiness together? Kaede wondered sadly.

Shaking her head clear, she steeled herself and kept walking into the night alone. The past could not be changed. All that remained was the future she would carve out, for better or worse.

For the first two years after the orphanage incident, Goku lived a peaceful life in the forest, having escaped from any authorities. He was quite content hunting wildlife and foraging for food amongst the trees and streams. The solitude afforded him time to hone his strength and martial arts skills.

But eventually, Goku's adventurous spirit could no longer be contained. He found himself growing bored with the repetitive days in the wilderness. His instincts called out for new challenges and discoveries.

So Goku started wandering farther from his wooded home, days at a time. Over three years, his travels had taken him across nearly half the country, as he explored new terrains and cities on foot. Though he mostly stayed in the countryside.

Now and then, he came across people in need of help and lent his assistance, putting his strength to good use. However, what Goku truly longed for was a real test of his abilities. Out in the world, he never got to fight anything that pressed his limits.

In the five years since the orphanage, Goku had barely grown taller though he has grown more muscular. Mentally, he was much the same energetic, kind-hearted boy as always since his head injury. The solitary years had not dampened his cheerful spirit.

Now age 15, Goku eventually led himself back full circle back to Kamakura. He wasn't sure why, but some instinct told him this familiar city was where he was meant to be next.

Goku wandered the busy streets of Kamakura, taking in the scene.

Suddenly, his stomach let out a loud growl. Goku chuckled and pulled out a few Yen he had collected after helping a random person lift something heavy. Apparently, with these, you could obtain food.

Following his nose, Goku tracked the scents coming from a large restaurant up ahead. He stepped inside the busy establishment, unsure what to do next. The place was filled with people eating at tables.

A woman noticed the puzzled-looking boy and came over. "Welcome! Table for one?" she asked briskly.

Goku grinned and scratched his head. "Uh, I'm not sure how this works. But I've got these coin things and was hoping to get some food?"

The woman smiled. "No problem, follow me to a seat and we'll get you all set up."

She led Goku to a small table and handed him a menu. "Take a look and let me know what you'd like to order." The woman started walking away.

Goku had his face pressed up against the menu, squinting hard at the words. After a few moments, he muttered "Wait...how do I read?"

Suddenly, a familiar female voice called out right next to him. "Goku? Is that you?"

He looked up to see a brown-haired girl wearing a waitress uniform standing by his table, looking at him in surprise. Goku grinned widely.

"Yup, that's me!" he replied cheerfully.

The girl's eyes widened. "Do you remember me from the festival five years ago?"

Goku furrowed his brow thinking hard. Then he snapped his fingers as the memory came back. "Oh yeah! Kouta's sister!"

The girl face-palmed. "No, I'm his cousin Yuka!" she said in exasperation.

"Oh right, Yuka!" Goku said, laughing and rubbing the back of his head. "It's great to see you again after so long!"

Yuka smiled back, shaking her head at his poor memory. "It's nice to see you too, Goku. What are you doing here?"

Goku patted his empty stomach. "Well I was trying to get some food, but I can't figure out how to order or read this thing," he explained, pointing at the menu...

Yuka stared at Goku with disbelief written across her face. "You can't read at all?" she asked dumbfounded.

"Nope, not a word!" Goku replied matter-of-factly, seemingly unconcerned by this admission.

Yuka slowly face-palmed, shaking her head. With a sigh, Yuka took the seat across from Goku and gently slid the menu over. "Here, I'll help you figure out what's what," she offered kindly.

She slowly read through each item, describing the dishes in detail to the attentive boy. Goku listened with rapt focus, his mouth watering as she depicted the various foods.

After several minutes, the waitress from earlier returned to the table. Seeing Yuka with an unknown boy, she raised a knowing eyebrow and gave a sly smile.

"My my, Yuka. Who might this handsome young man be?" she asked, a teasing sound in her voice. "Do tell me you haven't already got yourself a boyfriend?"

"M-mom!" Yuka stammered, a bright blush blooming on her cheeks. "It's not like that! This is just an old friend, Goku."

Goku grinned cheerfully at the waitress. "Hi there! I'm Son Goku, nice to meet ya!" he introduced himself brightly.

"What a polite boy!" Yuka's mother said approvingly. She shot her daughter a playful wink. "I like this one Yuka. I wouldn't mind at all if you two started dating!"

"Mom, please!" Yuka begged, utterly mortified.

Her mother just chuckled and patted her shoulder consolingly. "I'm only teasing, dear. You two enjoy yourselves!" She placed some water down and headed off, leaving a flustered Yuka with the oblivious Goku.

Yuka let out a sigh of relief as her mother walked away to serve other customers.

"Sorry about that, she's always been a bit of a tease," Yuka said, still looking embarrassed.

"That's your mom? She seems nice!" Goku replied happily.

Yuka nodded. "Yeah, she owns this restaurant. I just help out sometimes by waitressing when they get busy."

"Whoa, so your mom runs this whole place? That's amazing!" Goku said, gazing around with new appreciation.

"It's a lot of hard work for her, but she loves it, and I like helping too," Yuka said with a smile. "Anyway, let's figure out what to order. I'm getting pretty hungry too."

She picked the menu back up, continuing to guide the illiterate Goku through the various meal options.

Later, Goku and Yuka sat eating, with Goku wolfing down plate after plate at an astonishing speed.

Yuka watched him with a sense of nostalgia. "You haven't changed much, have you Goku?" she mused.

Goku paused to grin at her. "Nope!" he said before immediately diving back into his meal.

Yuka noted Goku had barely grown taller in the years since they first met as children. By now, she stood a good few inches above the short boy.

His endless energy was just as she remembered too. Goku was practically vibrating in his seat with enthusiasm as he ate.

"That wild hair of yours hasn't changed either," Yuka chuckled. "It's hard to forget a style like that. It was the first thing I recognized about you!"

After polishing off the last scraps of his meal at lightning speed, Goku sat back with a satisfied sigh. He then looked across at Yuka curiously.

"So, did Kouta ever come back to visit over the summer like he said he would?" Goku asked.

Yuka's expression immediately fell. A profound sadness filled her eyes as she looked down at the table.

"No...he never came back after that day," she said quietly.

Goku tilted his head in confusion. "Huh? How come?"

Yuka took a shaky breath before responding. "On the train ride home from the festival...Kouta's little sister Kanae and his father...they were murdered right in front of him."

Goku's eyes went wide with shock. "What?! But I remember meeting his little sister there! She was so nice..." he trailed off.

Yuka nodded, a tear slipping down her cheek. "The killer was never found. Since then, Kouta has been...different. He took it hard. Had to get therapy and everything."

She wiped her eyes, looking back up at Goku's stunned face. "I just wish he would come back someday. I just hope he was able to heal some way after witnessing the murder of his family. If not...I doubt he'll ever return."

It was haunting knowing that the same day he had seen Kouta for the last time, a tragedy like that would happen shortly afterward.

Goku's usual cheerful demeanor had vanished. "I wish I could've done something to help," he said somberly, shoulders slumped. "Kouta didn't deserve that at all."

Yuka gave a sad smile. "It's okay Goku."

A heavy silence fell between them after Yuka's explanation about Kouta. Goku sat staring down, sadness and regret etched on his normally cheerful face.

After a few moments, Yuka took a deep breath and attempted to restart the conversation, wanting to move to lighter topics.

"So...what have you been up to all these years, Goku?" she asked, trying to inject brightness into her tone. "Where have you been living?"

Goku blinked, looking back up at her. "Oh uh, well before I was staying mostly in a forest. Just training, hunting for food, stuff like that," he explained.

"The forest? All by yourself?" Yuka asked in surprise.

Goku nodded. "Yeah, it was kinda nice and peaceful there! But I got bored after a while, so I decided to travel around and see new places."

"That sounds lonely," Yuka said sympathetically. "Weren't you scared of being alone so much?"

Goku laughed and rubbed the back of his head. "Nah, not really! I can pretty much take care of myself. And I found different ways to keep me busy."

Yuka smiled a bit at his confidence and upbeat attitude. Even after everything, he still faced life with a positive spirit. It was reassuring to see.

"Well, I'm glad you're back!" Yuka said warmly. "We should catch up more. There's so much to talk about."

Goku's face lit up again. "Yeah, that sounds great! It's awesome seeing you again, Yuka."

As they chatted, Goku noticed something tucked into Yuka's shirt. "Hey, what's that orange thing there?" he asked curiously.

"Hm? Oh!" Yuka pulled out a small orange sphere, about the size of a ball. It was clear and appeared to have four stars suspended within.

"This is just a good luck charm my grandfather gave me before he passed away," Yuka explained, gazing fondly at the orb.

Goku's eyes widened. "Whoa, that's so cool looking! What do you think it is?"

Yuka rolled the ball around in her palm. "I'm not sure honestly. I carry it with me everywhere now for luck."

Goku stared at the ball as Yuka tucked the orb safely back into her shirt.

Deep within the secretive research facility, Director Kakuzawa stood overlooking a secured chamber, various machines and monitors spread out before him.

"Report on the progress with the artifacts," Kakuzawa commanded briskly, hands clasped behind his back.

A researcher approached. "Things are advancing well, sir. We've discovered the orbs give off a unique energy signature that allows us to remotely detect their locations."

Kakuzawa held up an orange sphere to his face, about 3 inches in diameter. Inside, two stars glinted mysteriously.

"And what of the six other remaining artifacts? Have we pinpointed them?" Kakuzawa asked.

"Yes. We're detecting matching energy signals scattered across the world," the researcher confirmed. "We're already preparing recovery teams to be dispatched covertly."

He shuffled some papers nervously. "In fact, there appears to be one here in Japan, in a city called Kamakura."

Kakuzawa's eyes narrowed. "I see. Then let us waste no time. Fetch the transport case."

He placed the artifact into a cushioned briefcase. "Leave immediately for Kamakura. That ball must be obtained, no matter the cost."

The researcher bowed. "Of course, Director Kakuzawa. I'll ready the extraction team at once."

Kakuzawa watched him scurry off, a calculating smile spreading across his face. Soon, the power of the dragon balls would be unlocked.

Kuruma and Kakuzawa, the son of the director with the same name, sat in an unmarked black car, scoping out the area.

"Well then, what now?" Kuruma asked impatiently.

Kakuzawa rubbed his chin. "A Diclonius on her own... we have no choice but to search this area house by house."

Karuma frowned. "Maybe we don't have to. They will contact us as soon as someone collapses on the street. We also have cooperation from the local police. If we get any updates we'll be at the scene in no time."

"Now, let's look into the report of the girl wearing a hat."

"The target is at least eight years old, and there is no mistake she has horns growing out of her head," Kuruma explained.

Kakuzawa had a look of doubt. "I see but even so, we are still depending on luck to find what we are looking for."

Kuruma moved his gaze toward Kakuzawa, "Right, there is another thing."

Kakuzawa asks, "What is it?"

Kuruma starts to pull out a picture from his suit. "It was something interesting I was hoping to find."

Kuruma held up a photo, staring intently at it. "This is the demon that's going to destroy humanity as we know it."

Kakuzawa raised an eyebrow. "Oh? And what sort of photo might that be?"

"You were talking about the incident 5 years ago the other day," Kuruma explained. "One week before that, there were four kids that were murdered at an orphanage, and two others went missing. The killer was never found."

"That may have been the Diclonius's doing, but..." He handed the photo to Kakuzawa. It showed a young pink-haired girl with small horns on her head. "This was one of the missing children."

Kakuzawa's eyes widened in surprise. He stared intently at the photo of the horned girl. "This photo is..." Kakuzawa muttered under his breath. In his mind, he was certain this was the Diclonius Queen they had been searching for.

Kakuzawa then remembered something else. "Wasn't there another missing child from that incident? What became of them? Were they a Diclonius, perhaps another queen?"

Kuruma shook his head. "Unlikely to be another queen or a Diclonius. Records show the other missing child was actually a young boy found alive at the scene when police first responded."

Kakuzawa looked puzzled. "A boy you say? How did he go missing if he was found by authorities that night?"

"That's just it," Kuruma said, scratching his chin. "The reports state he was unconscious with only some head injury when initially discovered. But shortly after regaining consciousness, he somehow evaded police capture and disappeared."

"Hmm, strange," Kakuzawa mused. "If he wasn't Diclonius, why would the queen leave him alive yet slaughter the other children? Was she the reason for the head injury?"

Kuruma responded. "No clue, but this kid was incredibly fast based on witness accounts. He fled the scene in the blink of an eye despite his injuries. Almost inhuman abilities."

"Do you by chance have a photo of the missing boy?" Kakuzawa asked.

Kuruma nodded. "I have a picture of both of them right here."

He pulled out another photo and handed it to Kakuzawa. This photo was the same as the first but zoomed out, showing the petite pink-haired girl standing next to a boy with wild, jet-black spiky hair that stuck out at odd angles. The boy's eyes had a cold, hostile look to them that seemed beyond his years.

Kakuzawa's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "This is the boy? What unusual features on this kid."

Peering closer, Kakuzawa's eyes widened further. "What is that thing connected to the boy's back?"

Sure enough, a long, furry brown tail could be seen protruding from behind the boy's backside.

"Several witnesses at the scene confirmed the boy had some sort of tail attached to him. They thought it was some kind of prop," Kuruma explained, keeping his gaze fixed on the road ahead.

"Remarkable..." Kakuzawa murmured, seemingly entranced by the photo. "This kid is not a Diclonius himself, yet possesses unique anomalies of his own. The tail you mentioned..."

"Hmm...I wonder then, what is this boy's connection to the Diclonius queen?" Kakuzawa mused. "Could he represent another emerging humanoid species perhaps? Or maybe a variant branch of Diclonius?"

Kuruma nodded. "It does seem an odd coincidence that they both emerged in the same location under mysterious circumstances. They may have some connection to each other. That would also explain why he was left alive by the queen."

"And the boy not being human could explain his above-average speed and agility for someone his age. It must be a trait of his species," Kakuzawa added.

Kakuzawa then stroked his chin. "That boy might be the only one of his kind though. Aside from this sole documented case, no other tails have been reported on humans, unlike the rise in Diclonius births..."

Kuruma's expression darkened. "Even though he seems to be the only one of his kind, there might be more specimens out there, and there is no telling how many."

Kakuzawa asked, "If there is more, then why haven't they been showing up?"

Kuruma kept his gaze forward. "Right now, I have no idea, but if resurfaced, he and any similar specimens require dedicated research. As far as we know, they could be as big a threat as the Diclonius."

Just then, Kuruma's phone suddenly rang. He quickly picked it up.

"This is Kuruma," he answered. He listened intently, his brow furrowing deeper with each word from the caller.

"I see... Go demand an inspection with the local police, please." Kuruma finally responded, his tone severe.

Kuruma hung up and turned to Kakuzawa. "That was unexpectedly fast."

"What's wrong?"

"A middle-aged man was just found dead in his apartment according to a witness," Kuruma answered.

Kakuzawa's eyes widened. "Oh? And what evidence suggests this was no ordinary murder?"

"According to a witness, the prime suspects seem to be the man's daughter and her friend, who were spotted fleeing his apartment earlier," Kuruma explained.

"Ah, and one of them... was wearing a knitted hat over their head."

Kaede made her terrified friend Aiko hide behind her realizing they had been discovered by the police forces. Bright spotlights suddenly switched on, blinding them as the soldiers closed in.

"It looks like we're up against two Diclonii, we better move in quick," Kakuzawa said eagerly.

"We still don't know if the other one is a Diclonius," Kurama cautioned.

"The cap she's wearing is proof enough. We can't afford to take the risk. Fire!" Kakuzawa ordered.

Gunshots rang out as Kaede desperately used her vectors to throw displays, debris, and chunks of the floor at the attacking soldiers.

"Well, that settles it," Kakuzawa said, unconcerned by the display of power.

"Take a shot from the side," Kurama directed the soldiers coldly.

"Understood," one responded, aiming once more.

As Kaede shields her and her new friend from the gunshots, she starts trying to comfort her. "Don't worry, I told you I was a magician didn't I?" Kaede pleaded to Aiko. "I promise you I won't let them hurt you."

At that moment, Aiko noticed the soldier to their side who had his gun aimed at Kaede. Before the soldier could shoot, she decided to push her friend out of the way.

"Aah!" Aiko screamed as a bullet meant for Kaede struck her instead when she selflessly jumped in front to shield her friend.

Kaede's heart stopped as she caught the wounded Aiko before she hit the floor. She could see the blood running down her back.

"No...why does this keep happening to me? Why did you have to protect me!?" Enraged, Kaede let out a blood-curdling scream as her vectors tore an enormous hole through the ceiling, causing the soldiers to cry out in alarm.

An explosion could be seen by bystanders outside the building. Inside, a few of the soldiers were crushed under debris.

An injured Kakuzawa crawled over to the unconscious body of Kuruma. Kuruma immediately opened his eyes.

Kakuzawa helped his colleague up. "Kuruma, what the hell was that explosion?"

Kuruma looked in shock at the damage around him. "Is this the power of the Diclonius?"

Kaede held her injured friend. "No! Hold on! I'll save you, please don't die!" Kaede cried helplessly.

Aiko lay weakly in the arms of Kaede. "Thank you...for helping me out with everything"

"No, Don't say that! You still haven't met your mother, right!?" Kaede yelled frantically.

'What kind of magician am I? I can't do anything!' she thought in her mind. Her powers meant nothing if she couldn't protect a single friend.

"Your kind has no place in this world!" Kurama shouted harshly.

Kaede's eyes hardened with icy hatred. "I see, you bastards wanted me. This girl just got in your way."

Kurama starts talking coldly back at her. "Don't try to run, there's nowhere to go."

Kaede's voice then took on a desperate, pleading tone. "Please, this girl is innocent, you have to rescue her."

"Let's make a deal," Kurama proposed. "If you promise to surrender peacefully, then we will do what we can to save her."

"A deal?" Kaede replied warily.

"Yes, you have my word. But you better decide fast," Kurama warned.

"...Alright. I surrender," Kaede finally acquiesced, willing to do anything to help her dying friend.

"Secure her!" the soldiers shouted, rushing forward.

Kaede cried out as she was shoved brutally to the ground, Kurama's foot pinning her head down.

"Get the girl to the hospital ASAP!" Kurama ordered as the soldiers dragged a weeping Kaede away.

"Please hang on, I'll come for you someday," she choked out through her tears as Aiko was rushed to medical aid. Kaede could only pray that she would live.

Far away in a secret facility on an island, Kaede was now imprisoned in a cage, her face obscured by a heavy metal helmet.

Kuruma stood coldly in front of the captured girl. His gaze was hard and calculating as he stared at the Diclonius specimen they had hunted for so long.

"You weren't the only child to go missing from that orphanage incident," Kuruma finally said, breaking the tense silence. "There was a boy as well. A boy with a tail..."

Kaede remained silent, rage boiling up inside at the mention of Kakarot. The friend she had helplessly watched murdered before her eyes five years ago.

Kuruma's eyes narrowed. "We won't get anywhere if you refuse to speak. What happened to the boy?"

Kaede slowly lifted her head, whispers barely audible from within the helmet.

"Speak up," Kuruma commanded.

"I said...Kakarot is dead!" Kaede said suddenly raising her voice. "And it's because of people like you..."

Kuruma could hear the hatred in her voice. "Kakarot...an unusual name," he thought. Is that truly what the tailed boy was called?

He then shook his head, certain the Diclonius girl was lying about the boy being dead. He was found alive at the scene.

Kuruma stared at her coldly. "I don't believe your claims. You're lying about the boy."

Kaede lifted her head, speaking in a venomous tone. "I saw with my own eyes as he was struck down while I was held back. His blood spilled right in front of me!"

Kuruma's eyes widened slightly. This aligned with the head injury they had found on the boy. So the other children had likely attacked and incapacitated him first. But how did they manage to do that?

"Interesting," Kuruma thought. "Seeing the boy harmed must have finally triggered her vectors...and murderous rampage. This confirms a strong connection between the two.

He realized then that Kaede likely thought the boy had died from his wounds. But Kuruma knew he had been found alive later at the scene.

He considered telling her this revelation but hesitated, unsure if it was wise to reveal too much. There were still many unknowns.

"Tell me more about the boy's tail," Kuruma demanded instead. "What purpose did it serve?"

Kaede had gone silent once more, glaring behind the helmet.

Kuruma ground his teeth in frustration. Getting concrete answers would require a change in approach. He had to keep digging deeper into this mysterious connection between the horned girl and the tailed boy.

Kuruma was about to continue his questioning when his phone suddenly rang. He answered quickly. "Kuruma speaking."

He listened for a moment. "What boy?"

Another long pause as the caller explained. "Are you certain it's the same one?"

Kuruma's eyes widened slightly at the response. "I see. Don't engage with him yet. I'll be there shortly."

He hung up and turned back to Kaede's cage. "It seems today has been rather productive."

As he started to leave, Kaede's voice rang out behind him. "Wait...what about my friend...the girl who was shot? Did she live?"

Kuruma hesitated, considering his words carefully before responding coldly. "I'm afraid I have bad news. The girl didn't make it despite our efforts."

He waited for Kaede's reaction. She went silent and still in her cage. Kuruma watched her impassively for a moment before speaking again.

"If you had just surrendered peacefully, your friend would still be alive now," he said coldly. "It's a shame you Diclonii seem incapable of choosing a path where we could coexist."

With that parting shot, Kuruma exited and sealed the heavy door behind him.

Inside her cell, Kaede seethed with rage. "It's not us who refuse to coexist, it's you humans who persecute and murder us out of fear!" she thought venomously.

First Kakarot, and now Aiko had died protecting her from these merciless hunters. "Someday, I will take away everyone important to you, Kuruma," she vowed silently. "I will make you feel the same loss and despair you've caused me."

Deep in the hidden lower levels of the facility, Director Kakuzawa entered a vast chamber. In the center sat a tall, imposing figure upon a throne-like seat. A pterodactyl-like creature henchman stood attentively next to him.

Kakuzawa approached respectfully and gave a short bow. "I've come with an update on the dragon balls."

The being's eyes narrowed, and his raspy voice echoed within the chamber. "Speak."

"Things progress smoothly," Kakuzawa reported. He held up the briefcase containing the two-star ball. "We already possess this one."

"The other six orbs have been located using their unique energy wavelengths. Recovery teams have been dispatched globally to collect the remaining six."

"It's only a matter of time before we have all of them."

The dark figure took the dragon ball from Kakuzawa and held it up to his face, his mouth curling into a satisfied smile. "Excellent. Once I have assembled all seven, I can finally wish for eternal youth."

Kakuzawa's eyes glinted greedily. "Yes, and with your regained power, you will surely conquer this world." He chose his next words carefully. "Afterwards, perhaps a small portion could be granted to my Diclonius race...so that we may flourish without interference."

The being raised his eyebrows at this request. Kakuzawa tensed nervously.

After a pause, the raspy voice spoke. "I will...think on this once victory is assured."

Kakuzawa brightened, relieved his suggestion hadn't brought anger. Kakuzawa's eyes glinted greedily. "Of course, we remain focused on obtaining the dragon balls first." He gave a short bow of respect.

Satisfied, the figure relaxed back into his throne. Soon, the world would tremble once more before the Demon King Piccolo.

So it seems 5 years later, Kaede still thinks Kakarot is dead. Kakarot/Goku is still thriving and has even met up back with Yuka. Though trouble seems to be coming their way. Kakuzawa has started the search for the dragon balls. Kaede is finally captured by Kuruma. And most importantly, here is the introduction of King Piccolo. Goku might be in some even bigger trouble.

Holy crap, chapter 6 is finally out. It's almost been a week. I didn't even start working on the chapter till Friday which means I was slacking during the three days before that (unacceptable). This was honestly because I didn't know how I would start off this chapter. Those three days I was mostly brainstorming. However, I am now glad how it turned out.

Also, I want to let everyone know that I made some slight edits to the story. If you look back at later chapters, Goku is now stated to be ten years old instead of twelve. And now Raditz is coming in eight years (now three) instead of six. This means the time skip is five years instead of three as originally intended. This was so I could make this story align better with the Elfen Lied timeline. Looking back, I'm glad I made these changes when I did. And don't worry, everything else is still the same.

Okay, let's see what happens in the next chapter.
