GONG!

"UP AND AT EM! RISE AND SHINE, NUMBNUTS!"

Apollo blew on a trumpet and threw open the curtains of their shared sleeping chamber as his brothers all reacted differently.

"GAAAH!" Nagare screamed, shooting into the air and clinging to the ceiling like a cat.

"HELLO!" Karma yelped, rolling out of bed and landing on his head.

"NON-STICK PANS!" Edgar cried as he shot up, his pillow falling off his face.

"Urgh..." Fraost lowly moaned as he rose up like a corpse, his tired eyes making him look rather ghoulish.

"IT's 8:30 AM, YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!" Apollo barked like a drill sergeant. "GET YOUR LAZY BUTTS ON THE DOUBLE TO THE SHOWERS! YOU WANNA WIN THE HEARTS OF THOSE LADIES?! YOU GOTTA LOOK YOUR BEST! MOVE IT! MOVE IT! MOVE IT!"

"Geez..." Karma grumbled as he picked himself up off the floor and adjusted his back. "He gets like this every. Single. Day..."

"Karma, its too early to complain…." Nagare groaned as he handed his twin the toothpaste.

Thus, the brothers began their morning routine; a quick soak, brushing their teeth, doing their hair….the other thing that I can't say here without bumping the story's rating up.

"Ah, that was a gooooood…!" Edgar began.

"NO SAYING THAT WORD OR ANYTHING LIKE IT! THIS IS A KIDS' SHOW!" Apollo cut in.

"You'll wake Fine and Rein with all that yelling!" Nagare whispered in annoyance.

A trio of cute giggles could be heard outside the brothers' room. Two they knew by heart, the other two familiar but new.

Froast opened the door to see Fine and Rien, all dressed and ready to go, wheeling in a cart with breakfast on it. Pomoo was flying alongside them and once they saw Froast at the door, bowed respectfully to him.

"Good morning, Oni-sans/your majesties!" The twins and fairies smiled warmly. "We brought breakfast!"

The boys smiled at that, each kneeling down to kiss their sisters' forehead and lightly mess with their hair before helping themselves to some food.

"So, what do you need and or want?" Edgar asked. "While we'd never tire of you, you only bring us food when you're up to something."

"Can we go to the Flame Kingdom and visit Lione?" The twins asked, batting their eyes and breaking out the puppy dog pout.

"…It's alright with me." Nagare said.

"I see no problem." Froast continued.

"be nice to get out for a change." Apollo mused.

"If mom and dad are okay, sure." Edgar smiled.

The twin princesses smiled and cheered, hugging each other and their brothers….

"As long as WE all go with you too. To keep you safe." Karma finished.

If Fine and Rein heard, they didn't care; they juts hugged their brothers and then hurried to prepare for the trip.

"THEY ARE TRULY NOBLE PRINCES-PUMO!" Poomo said, anime tears pouring down his face as Piale giggled.

"They really love their sisters, don't they?"

Poomo's music box opened up as he hopped into it and turned to everyone.

"Now, unite your hearts-pumo."

"Okay!" Fine and Rein said as they held on to the handle of the music box. Their free hands held onto their brothers, who also interlinked with each other.

"Now then; Telepoomotion!" Poomo began as he bowed. "To the Flame Kingdom!"

"Actually, it's pronounced Teleport-" Edgar began, only for everyone to be whisked through a glyph, traveling through a golden hyperspace trail. "-ATIOOOOOOOOOOOON!"

Another glyph opened up in the center of a village in the Flame Kingdom as the boys fell out, acting as cushions for their little sisters as Poomo and Piale floated out casually.

"We are now in the Flame Kingdom-pumo." Poomo spoke.

"Man, it's been a while since I've been here." Piale said, a fond nostalgic smile on her face.

"Eh? Already?" Fine and Rein stood up.

"That was fast..." Karma groaned as he got up, rubbing his backside.

"Get off my face..." Edgar muffled in a growl as his prankster brother quickly jumped off him.

"And after all that hard work getting cleaned up, too..." Apollo grumbled angrily as he dusted himself off.

"This is the Flame Kingdom?" Fine asked as she and Rein looked around.

"It's quite warm." Rein noted.

"Hot, even."

"First, we'll visit the Flame Castle and have an audience with the King and Queen-pumo." Poomo said, but he turned to see Fine and Rein fawning around in different shops.

"Wow, what a cute stuffed animal!" Rein said.

"These cakes look yummy!" Fine drooled.

Poomo slumped. "Still, I believe that they're actually great princesses."

"Come on, little fella, this is their first time being here." Nagare said, picking Poomo up by the tail and plopping him on his shoulder. "Let them enjoy themselves."

"They're only 8, after all." Edgar pointed out as Piale sat on his head.

"And how old are you?"

"We're 18. We were all born on the same day. We're technically Quintuplets."

"Wow! Queen Elsa looks absolutely GORGEOUS for a mother of boys who are already on the cusp of adulthood!" Piale gawked.

"She and Dad had us when they were young. Just on the verge of adulthood themselves." Karma shrugged. "They tell us that no matter what, they don't regret having us."

-WONDER PLANET-

After exploring the town for a little while, the Sunny Kingdom Royal Siblings and their two fairy companions decided to take a break.

"It's a pretty town, isn't it?" Fine said.

"Yes, it's rather different from the Sunny Kingdom." Rein agreed.

"Still, there's something very wrong here..." Edgar said. "For instance...Why in the world is everybody dressed like Winter is coming?"

"That's a mystery not even Sherlock Holmes can solve." Karma sarcastically noted.

Suddenly, a loud growl alerted everyone as Fine stood rigid, her face turning bright pink as Nagare chuckled and patted her on the head.

"Sounds like someone skipped out on breakfast this morning."

"Dude, we ALL did." Apollo sighed.

"I think I see a restaurant that might tickle our fancy." Fraost suggested as everyone turned to see a small little restaurant named 'Howan'.

"This is a restaurant, right?" Fine asked.

"It looks like one," Rein said.

"Great!"

Fine excitedly went to open the doors, only to find out they were locked.

"Huh? It's closed."

"How unlucky." Rein sighed.

Suddenly, Fine's nose picked up something, her eyes narrowing as she tried to sniff it out.

"Wait, what is this smell?"

"I can smell it too," Edgar said, sniffing the air.

"Smell?" Rein questioned as Fine zipped past her. "Fine!"

"Get back here, ya little rascal!" Apollo said as the rest of the Sunny Siblings chased after their sister.

Fine zeroed in on the smell, which was coming from the back of the restaurant. She peeked inside a window and saw a kitchen, where a humanoid panda with a thin mustache and dressed like a chef was busy cooking.

"Wow, it looks so good!" Fine excitedly said.

"But the restaurant is closed. I guess they're not in business today." Rein pointed out.

"Well, we are hungry and it would do no good to fill up on just sweets," Edgar said as he went to the back door and was about to knock before a frustrated voice shouted out.

"No way! This is not what I call Flame Fried Rice!" The Panda Chef said in a defeated tone.

"So it's called Flame Fried Rice?" Fine drooled, hearts coming out of her head as her eyes sparkled.

"Well, now it seems we have further incentive," Fraost said as he knocked on the back door, Fine zipping up beside him excitedly.

"Who is it?" Howan said as Fine answered.

"Excuse me, I'm actually hungry, so can I have some Flame Fried Rice, please?"

"I can't cook Flame Fried Rice!" Howan snapped. "Go home!"

The Panda Chef was about to close the door but Fraost held his hand out and stopped it, a stern look on his face.

"With all due respect, sir. We're very hungry and haven't eaten today."

"Yeah! It can be something other than Flame Fried Rice!" Fine cried. "Even Flame Fried Rice you messed up would be fine!"

"Sorry to bother you, sir, but there don't seem to be any other restaurants in town," Edgar said as he stepped in.

"I'm sorry, I just cannot have my store open when I'm unable to make what makes the town truly happy!" Howan said before closing the door. "Good day!"

The rest of the Sunny Siblings had no choice but to drag Fine away from the restaurant.

"I wanna eat Flame Fried Rice so badly..." Fine whined.

"Awww, chin up!" Piale said. "I guess the only thing we can do is head back home and get breakfast."

"Yeah, I bet there's another way why that guy is struggling to cook that Flame Fried Rice." Nagare theorized.

"Flame Fried Rice?" They turned to a bear woman. "You're asking for the impossible."

"Although, I myself miss the taste on a freezing day like this." Another bear woman noted.

"Same here." A human woman added.

"Flame Fried Rice was a specialty in Howan's and was known as the most delicious food in this kingdom. I really miss it."

Fine's eyes gleamed as she shot up to her feet.

"The specialty! I want to eat it!"

"But Howan said he wasn't going to cook anymore, so... The first bear woman began.

"Too bad, but you'll have to give up." The other bear woman sighed.

"Well, if that Howan guy can't make that stuff anymore, let's just forget about it." Apollo said.

"No way, I'll eat it no matter what!" Fine said before taking out her Sunny Luche. "I'll use Prominence!"

"Wait Fine! We can't do that!" Rein stopped her. "We can't use Prominence for our own benefit!"

"Yeah, don't use your magic for your own needs," Nagare said.

"That is exactly what I told them last night-pumo!" Poomo said, making his presence known again as he popped out of Apollo's coat pocket. "However, I think there's one thing you can do-pumo."

"Really?" Fine and Rein asked before the former suddenly slipped and almost fell had it not been for Fraost catching her.

"What do you mean, Poomo?" Karma asked, squatting down to the fairy's level.

"Alright-pumo. You two can use the Prominence by working together, but there's actually more to it." Poomo began. "You also received the power of the Self Prominence, which you may use by you and for yourself-pumo."

"How wonderfully convenient!" Nagare noted.

"Calm your mind." Poomo advised as Fine nodded, opening up her Sunny Luche and pressing a button as it glowed and the scepter came out.

"Twinkle bloomish, let's play Hide-and-Seek!" Fine chanted as she turned invisible.

Rein gasped. "She vanished!"

"That's the Hide-and-Seek Prominence-pumo." Poomo explained. "Go and find out why Howan has stopped cooking-pumo!"

"We should probably follow after her. I have a bad feeling..." Edgar frowned as everyone trailed after the invisible Fine, who made her way to the back of Howan's again and opened the door, sneaking in.

Howan was still busy trying to cook his Flame Fried Rice but then heard a stomach growl and looked around before shrugging, thinking it was his imagination. He began to resume cooking and soon took a spoonful to taste test before sighing.

"No... This is not it. This doesn't taste right." Howan sighed in defeat. "Oh no, I can't make real Flame Fried Rice any more, can I?"

As Howan was talking, the invisible Fine took a spoonful of Flame Fried Rice and was excitedly about to eat it...only to become visible again, which caught Howan's attention as he turned to her and gasped.

"Uh-Oh."

Howan cried out in alarm. "You're that child from before! How did you get in here?!"

"Intervention Time!" Apollo said as he kicked down the door and the rest of the Sunny Siblings came in. "We're so sorry about this, sir! But we're really curious about why you can't make Flame Fried Rice!"

"We should have introduced ourselves earlier..." Fraost sighed. "We're the Princes and Princesses of the Sunny Kingdom. We should have led on with that first."

"Well, I've never seen such unprincess-like princesses!" Howan huffed as he was about to scoot Fine out but was stopped.

"Speak for yourself! A cook who can't cook, what a laugh!" Karma snapped, only to wince when he saw Howan's defeated expression. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean-"

"Well, it's not that I don't cook. I can't cook."

"I literally just said tha….OW!" Karma started, only to be hit in the gut by Nagare as their sisters stepped forward.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Fine and Rein asked at the same time.

"See that mountain?" Howan pointed toward a mountain far away. "I need a special spice blown up from that volcano to cook Flame Fried Rice."

"A special spice? That sounds really delicious!" Fine squealed.

"However, recently the volcano has become less active, and I can't get that special spice anymore," Howan explained. "I've been trying other spices, but none of them taste right."

"Maybe we can help?" Edgar said, surprising his rbothers. "What? Cooking is a science in and of itself! I can't stand seeing a fellow like this struggle!"

His siblings smiled warmly at the genius prince, who looked at the menu Howan was trying to work with.

"Mhm. Mhm. I see….I can't cook this."

The royals all fell down in shock and embrassment… minus Apollo, who read sna dmsiled.

"Fear not, Howan! For I, Prince Apollo, am not only am I greatest warrior of the Sun kingdom…" Apollo smirked as he reached for his shirt which he tore off….

To reveal a pristine chef's uniform underneath.

"I AM ALSO THE GREATEST CHEF IN THE SUNNY KINGDOM!" The warrior smiled,

"Nagare, wash! Karma, dry! Edgar, presentation! Froast, preperation! Fine and Rein, be adorable!"

"YESSIR!"

And with that, the Princes began to cut, wash and cook the dishes at Apollo's orders, Apollo himself masterfully wielding the kitchen untensils and showfully helping Edgar place the food onto plates.

As their brothers cooked, Fine and Rein decide to try and use Prominence to help Howan find the special spice again.

"Fan fan, Fine!"

"Ran fan, Rein!"

"Prominence Dress Up!

Howan noticed the transformation and quickly opened the back door, surprised as the brothers walked out beside him.

"Huh. I was wondering when they'd give that a try." Froast mused.

"Meh, Guess I owe you a cold juice, brother." Karma shrugged to Nagare.

"You two are-?"

"Oh, the real surprise is yet to come!" Edgar grinned.

"Twinkle Twinkle Bloomish! The spice... for Howan-San!"

Magic golden sparkles gathered at the volcano as everyone watched in awe. Howan beginning to feel hope swell in his heart before the volcano coughed something out, which landed on Karma's head and landed in his hands to reveal...a bone?

"A bone? What's this going to do?"

Edgar took out a high-tech magnifying lens and placed it over his left eye as he inspected the bone for any unique features, but it didn't seem to have anything of note.

"That's odd, why would the Prominence create a bone?"

"This is hopeless! How can I use a bone for a spice!?" Howan cried.

"Well, you could use it to make a bone broth." Fraost noted sheepishly, racking his brain for any reason Prominence would do this.

Then they heard sniffing and saw a dog with jagged jaws and two flaming tails appear. Nagare looked at the dog and then the bone before getting an idea.

"Hey boy, are you hungry?" Nagare said, taking the bone from Karma and shaking it. "Wanna play fetch?"

The dog barked excitedly as Nagare smiled and then threw the bone.

"Well, go fetch!"

The dog went after the bone as it sailed through the air before landing on a tree which knocked down some coconuts. The coconuts hit the ground and suddenly exploded into a strange powder which the group got covered in.

"Th-This is a spice!" Howan gasped as he smelled the powder, taking some and licking it, his eyes sparkling. "Wow, this spice is...maybe even better than the one from the Spice Volcano!"

"And it's right near you!" Edgar smiled. "So you have plenty of resources to go with!"

"And don't forget the recipes I helped give you!" Apollo added.

"Yes! Thank you for all your help!" Howan said gratefully.

"Whoo-Hoo! They did it, Poomo!" Piale cheered as she hugged her fellow fairy. "And you were worried they'd fail!"

"I'm amazed that it all worked out-pumo."

-WONDER PLANET-

Thanks to the efforts of the Sunny Princes, Howan had many new recipes to try out. But first, he used the new spice to improve on his signature recipe and presented it to the siblings.

"Here, it's ready. This tastes better than the old Flame Fried Rice! I call it, the Ultimate Flame Fried Rice!" Howan proudly announced. "This is a token of my thanks! Enjoy it as much as you like!"

"Thanks, chef!" Nagare said as he ate some before breathing out as his cheeks turned red. "Whoa! That sure is hot!"

Karma suddenly coughed up smoke before fanning himself. Apollo licked his lips and nodded in satisfaction, not looking the least bit hot. Fraost simply blew out steam from his nostrils and nodded.

As for Edgar, Fine, and Rein...

"THIS IS HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!" The three screamed, tears escaping their eyes and flames their mouths.

"It's not THAT hot you bunch of babies!" Apollo snapped, savoring the flavors.

"Easy for you to say!" Karma said.

"QUICK! SOMEONE GET SOME WATER! NO, MILK! NO WAIT, ALOE VERA!" Nagare cried.

Later, the townsfolk were all enjoying the Ultimate Flame Fried Rice as the Sunny Siblings watched.

"You guys did a good thing today. We're proud of ya." Karma smiled, patting his little sisters on the head.

Suddenly, a huff caught everyone's attention as they turned to see a young man with dark purple-blue hair standing beside a tree.

"You didn't do anything notable, and yet you're happy."

"Who are you?" Rein asked.

"What's your beef?" Nagare asked as he and the rest of his brothers got in front of their sisters protectively.

"It's not just the volcano. Look at the Stone of the Fire Dragon and you'll learn more of the truth." The boy said cryptically before turning and walking off.

"Well, that was weird." Karma noted. "That kid looks like he watches way too much Zorro."

"But what did he mean by the Stone of the Fire Dragon?" Edgar pointed out. "How strange...?"

"I feel like I know that boy from somewhere..." Apollo hummed. "But I can't quite put my finger on it.

Unbeknownst to the Sunny Siblings, dark magic began forming into a fog with glowing red eyes and a jagged mouth, chuckling darkly before floating off into the forest...
