"Of course I can, and I'm Will Solace by the way."I couldn't believe I was about to do this but ,"Okay then, this is Bea" I brought out my pet wolf-hawk who, at the time was in cub for. Wolf-haws had the ability to change into any stage of its life. Bea is five so she can look like a cub, and a 1/5 year-old."Bea you can get big now."As a five year-old she could fly and was the size of a 5 year old Polar-bear dog."What...how...That's""I found her behind Nyx's house and I couldn't just leave her there" Will was looking at me with a shocked and slightly disbelieving face," So your telling me that you went through the meanest neighborhood ever existing and behind the house of one of it's meanest residents AND found the most rare creature in the history of creatures!" Will shouted"Shh" I said in alarm "It's a SECRET remember""Right but seriously what kind of magician are you?"I was about to reply with a sarcastic remark when a door in the floor in the of the room opened and headmaster Minos climbed out with a man that I didn't recognize following behind."Go ahead" Minos said before he climbed down out of the room closing the door behind strange man walked forward and said,"I'm Janus and I'm here to test Nico. Will's POV
Nico stepped forward and was instructed to sit down at the only table in the room. I watched curiously as placed 3 objects in front of Nico. A flute made of what seemed to be reeds, a blue cone like thing and a rope "Nico I need you to choose one of these." said. Nico chose the blue cone. then placed a different set of items including an old air-bender's necklace, an orange shawl, and a ring with some strange pictures on it. Nico chose the ring almost immediately and I wondered what was so special about it. now placed one last set the had a crimson Dragon scale, a blue Dragon scale, and a green Dragon Scale. Nico picked up the red one and said,"Congratulations Nico you passed the test." Nico looked at him in confusion and asked," And what does that mean exactly?" "It means, young man that you are the Avatar". Nico was just as confused as I was. Mr. Janus picked up all the stuff Nico had not taken and whisked down the steps and out of the room closing the door behind him. As soon as he closed it Nico said."I have to get out of here, Hazel and you need to come with me." "Why" I asked confused " Because people around here aren't very nice and they will probably hurt Hazel to get me to do what they want...and I just told you what i'm doing and why, and you'll see me leaving so...unless you want to get tortured you best come too."
