"You mean your own family was against your relationship?" asked Buddy.

"They were, but we never got along and were always fighting so it was not too bad for me when I decided to have nothing to do with them," said Zach.

"And my family accepted him without any problem," said Candy.

"So, even if they're close to you, it's best to cut people who say mean things about the one you love off?" asked Shiny.

"That's exactly what you should do, even if it hurts you should do so because nothing matters more than protecting the one you love," said Zach.

"But it can bring some people around too," he said.

"We had cut off a friend who originally was against us, but recently they have apologized after seeing just how wrong they were," said Candy.

"He's even in a mixed species relationship now himself," said Zach.

"They call it tough love, because it hurts everyone involved," said Gilbert.

"But there is hope of it making others see what they did to you," said Shiny.

"Mom, dad!" yelled two tiny voices while a young chungkingosaurus and a europasaurus ran toward them.

"Hey you two, did you have fun with your aunt?" asked Candy while she and Zach hugged them.

"Yeah, the lake was amazing," said the europasaurus.

"Sorry if we interrupted something, sis, we were coming back for lunch and I had no clue you had guests over," said another dilophosaurus that had been with the kids.

"It's alright, we dropped in without notice and were just talking," said Tiny.

"Plus we need to get going," said Don as he heard the train whistle.

"Do come again, we would love to hear how things go for you and Gilbert, Shiny," said Zach as he and his wife saw them off.

"We will," said Shiny with a smile.
