Ok, This concept was originally made by the user VeryUnknown, and after reading all of it, plus seeing CodyFanatic and later Dunsparce519 deciding to take a turn on this style. I decided to do the same.
Now, this fic will be set in a mid-point between seasons 1 and 2 of the Reboot. So it's been 15 years since Pahkitew Island and The Ridonculous Race (cause the timeline of Priya doesn't fit too well if it was 15 since Island)
The cast that will get interviewed are the first 3 generations (- Blainley,). I'll debate if I end up doing the RR cast as well (maybe a sepárate fic), but they will get mentioned.
It's worth remarking that this kind of fanfics leave doors open to a LOT of Headcannons, so this will be my vertions of the post-seasons events, along some nationality and even orientations among the cast, but I'm not erasing events or relationships that happened on the seasons.
I'll also clarify this just in case I end up mentioning some of them. I'll like to imagine the Disventure Camp fan-show characters do exist in the timeline. So don't be surprised if you see some mentions of characters here or there (but just the characters, Disventure Camp as a show itself isn't canon here). Same can be applied to some OCs, some may get mentioned but they haven't been part of the show.
Finally, I'll cover all 3 generations combined and in alphabetical order. So it's Alejandro first, Amy second, Anne María third, and so on.
It's been 15 years since the ending of Total Drama. After the Pahkitew Island season, only spin-offs like The Ridonculous Race were made, but the show was put on hold for a few years to deal with the pile of lawsuits that arose, coming from former contestants, their families, the interns, and even advertising agencies. Recently, however, the main channel "Fruit TV" decided to make a semi-reboot. Returning to a remodeled Pahkitew Island, which now looked like an exact copy of the old Camp Wawanakwa. And 16 new young campers entered this crazy competition.
Right now, the show was on hiatus while the second season was being prepared, the same cast would return to compete in a second chance season. But the media couldn't wait around, and saw this resurgence in popularity as the perfect opportunity to dig some things out of the past. So Celebrity Manhunt's contacted their long time hosts, Mildred "Blaineley" Stacey Andrews O'Halloran and Josh McAleister and got them together to conduct interviews with the first three Generations of Total Drama. After some effort, they were able to accommodate dates with the 51 campers. They decided to go in alphabetical order to generate a certain air of eagerness; after all, they could interview someone like Alejandro or Gwen near the beginning, and find out Trent's or Sierra's side of the history near the end. It was a dumb-proof way to generate interest.
Right now, the two interviewers were getting ready, they set up a special studio with two couches, a table and some minor snacks. They had folders with pictures of the campers, as well as information of all kinds, family, friendships or known relations, etc. The screens in the studio were running pictures with silhouettes of the campers,
Josh was holding up decently, although his hair was already showing some gray hair (produced by the years and the stress of celebrity life) his face didn't have a single wrinkle, while Blaineley still looked like a diva, still wearing her icono red dress, with her blonde hair all the eay down to her waist, but the highlight was her swollen stomach.
The baby kicked- The blonde said with a smile.
I still can't believe you're going to be a mother- commented her partner - un the past, you would fear to even aproach a cookie thinking it would make you fat. And you didn't see people beyond their appearance.
Things change over time. And my husband is a wonderful man- she defended herself as she pulled out her mirror and gave herself one last check-up.
We are ready to begin- announced one of the studio workers on the cameras
All right, let him in- said Josh.
Another assistant approached the studio door and opened it, letting entry to one of the most popular contestants, as well as one of the biggest antagonists of the show. Alejandro Burromuerto.
The Spaniard stood like an "adonis" his hair still reached his neck, with gold-framed sunglasses to cover his eyes. He was dressed in a crimson red jacket with his golden initials on a pocket, a white turtleneck shirt underneath, black pants, and brown shoes. It was definitely high quality clothing and made especially for him.
The arch-villain took a seat and extended his hand to greet the hosts, shaking Josh's hand and giving Blaineley's a kiss.
Josh, Blaineley- he said politely.
Alejandro- Blaineley's returned the greeting.
Congratulations on the gift of life- he said, referring to her clear condition.
Thank you, my dear. I'm happier than a politician at Christmas, boasted the blonde.
We'll probably have to cut that out," Josh muttered before giving a fake cough and turning to his guest, "So Alejandro, I trust our team explained to you how these interviews will work.
Actually, he spent more time trying to get my number- he revealed with a tone of discomfort.
Oh... sorry about that -said Josh- Well, we will ask you about the members of your generation one by one in order of elimination, then we will ask you about some particular members of the second cast because you participated in All Stars, we will cover the other members of that cast and Pahkitew in a general level, what do you think about the young rookies, and we will close by talking about your life now.
I understand- Alejandro replied, now knowing what the structure would be. Blaineley took the first of the photographs.
The first one is Ezekiel. I don't remember you guys interacting at any point, but maybe there's something that didn't make it to the cameras when I knocked you out in London.
Not really. We never spoke to each other, and by the time he captured me at the start of the challenge... he wasn't the same -He said with some pity in his voice- I can't say I'd expect us to be friends, but I feel bad for him, and I'm ashamed that I used him as a mere animal during the race to Hawaii.
I guess you don't have much of a relationship with Eva either -Josh continued.
No. We have only met a few times at show meetings, but I respect a strong woman like her -Alejandro said peacefully.
Blaineley slid the next image across the table and Alejandro had a different reaction.
Noah was the only player besides Heather and Sierra who was suspicious of you. Despite that, you both seemed to be on neutral ground, at least until London -said Blaineley.
Ah yes, little Noah -Alejandro mumbled in a tone that oscillated between sarcastic and jovial- he was a stone in the shoe. The cameras didn't show it, but there was always some tension between the two of us, in fact he was suspicious of me ever since Bridgette was eliminated after her "incident", and his suspicions only grew with the eliminations of the other members of the victory team, or that I was the one who came back for Owen in Peru.
Let's just say that my early capture in London was a fortuitous accident -admitted the man with latin roots- I didn't think it would happen, but it made me realize that Noah clearly didn't trust me at all. Was I lucky? Yes, I won't deny that Duncan joining the team gave me the help I needed to get him out of the way. I respect his intelligence, and consider him a worthy opponent, but that's exactly why he had to go. There wasn't much more after that, we avoided each other at show meetings and never referenced each other if we didn't have to.
You and Justin never shared anything, which many regretted, as people saw you as similar cases.
HA. Por Favor -he scoffed- I admit that Justin is one of the few people in the cast who could compare to me in beauty. But unlike him, I'm willing to put in the effort on the vast majority of occasions. He didn't make it to the cameras, but from what I hear from rumors among the rest, as well as internet recordings, is that the mister was very jealous of me "taking his place" as the hot guy of the season. I can't say more about Justin, he's someone who clearly had a lot of appearance complexes when he was young, and in view of some of his... jobs. He still did until a few years ago.
Josh looked at the following photos with some hesitation.
Katie and Sadie were among the few who backed you in the finals, but were there any other interactions outside of that?
No -he said flatly- we've never overlapped, and we'd hardly get past a couple of single words. Let's be honest, the ladies only backed me because of my attractiveness. Honestly, I think the only one who supported me on that end with any real sincerity was Tyler.
Good thing you brought him up -Blaineley interrupted, pulling out the athlete's picture- because he's next. Tyler seemed to consider you a friend on world tour, even if he might have been slightly suspicious of your attitudes.
And, the fandom began to see them as something more... perhaps at too extreme levels.
Let 's not talk about THAT video -Alejandro hissed with a shudder- Tanto talento desperdiciado en eso. Back to Tyler, while yes he was just another pawn in my game, I won't deny that he was the least irritating despite his… shall we say, flawed skills.
You're talking about his clumsiness -Josh cracked.
If that's what you want to call it -said Alejandro- On the flight between Egypt and Japan, he opened up about his relationship with Lindsay and how frustrated he was with how she kept forgetting his name, so as a small sign of respect I stopped trying to seduce her. It didn't matter, as in the end luck had her eliminated without my interference. We still talk a little to this day, and yes... I would say we are friends. FRIENDS -he said staring at the camera.
I see -said the blonde as she pulled out Izzy's picture- You and Izzy shared a team after she made the switch with Sierra, but I still don't remember you two having any notable interactions.
And you're not wrong, that woman scared me and still scares me. Even if she was "influenced" by my charms, she was still a danger. I always intended to convince the team to vote for her in case we lost a challenge, but that wasn't necessary when we arrived in Jamaica -admitted Alejandro remembering his time with Izzy- We haven't spoken since then and I have no interest either.
Josh looked at the next photo, which belonged to a brown-haired boy.
There's a lot of interesting things with Cody -Blaineley began- You guys didn't interact much at the beginning, beyond helping him hide from Sierra, but during the final phase you both shared more time.
Cody is a nice guy. At least when he wasn't talking about Sierra or his romantic issues about Gwen choosing Duncan. If you can get around those topics, you can talk about almost anything with him, and he'll be willing to listen to you even if he doesn't know much about it -Alejandro revealed calmly.
Oh, but that's not all, is it? -questioned Josh with a smile. Alejandro just sighed, he knew the conversation would go that way.
I won't go into further details of that situation. Just a stage in which Heather and I were experiencing a timeoff in our relationship -The Spaniard stated calmly, although his voice showed that he didn't like to touch that topic.
Josh was clearly disappointed that he couldn't get much information out of her, but he would let it go, after all, surely he could get more from the others involved. So he just showed Beth's picture.
I honestly have some respect for Beth. At least as a player. But I can't offer more opinion, we haven't crossed words on any occasion, and she never had a good opinion of me after seeing me from the set of the aftermath -Alejandro explained calmly.
Blaineley pulled out Courtney's picture, and Alejandro immediately grimaced with discomfort.
Courtney was one of your many "victims" in the season. But she was one of the most particular cases, since you took advantage of her emotional state after she discovered Duncan's deception, not only to manipulate her, but you also used her to your advantage to make Heather jealous.
As I said at the time, Courtney was a more than strong player, not to mention ruthless, so her delicate emotional situation was my best chance to get her out of the way, however, I got carried away and tried to take advantage of it to see if I could shake Heather -acknowledged the Spaniard before taking a more bitter tone- Unfortunately, I didn't count on how revengefull and intense Courtney could be. She legitimately tried to pursue me romantically, the cameras didn't show it, but she tried to kiss me multiple times on the plane, and I had to excuse myself to avoid it. I am not proud of my actions, and to this day, I respect Courtney, but will not speak to her willingly -Alejandro explained.
Josh quickly wrote down the last thing he mentioned on a list that said "drama for the future" and then showed Harold's picture.
Harold, Harold, Harold. I can honestly only say that I have some respect for him. He is someone who can back up his words most of the time, getting him out of the way was a necessary thing to do -said Alejandro. Clearly there was not much more between them.
Blaineley nodded and showed Trent's picture.
I never really interacted with Trent. But I know he doesn't think fondly of me because of my tactics about his friends -Alejandro replied sincerely. Josh pulled up the next picture, that of a blonde girl.
Oh, this is another interesting one. Bridgette could be considered the first "victim" of your charms. And her case is one of the most serious, as you seduced her knowing she had a boyfriend.
Alejandro sighed.
Another action I can't be proud of today. From what little I could glean from conversations between the interns, Geoff and Bridgette were in a somewhat... odd situation during the beginning of the season. I guess that's why she let herself be captivated despite her constant denials about having a boyfriend -Alejandro explained- I apologized to her and Geoff during one of the meetings, and although they agreed not to harass me anymore, she never spoke to me after that, and I can't really blame her.
Josh brought up the image of another blonde girl.
Lindsay... Lindsay, Lindsay. She was one of the easiest to manipulate, but as I said before. I stopped my actions when I saw Tyler's frustration. I really can't say much more. She was a respectable competitor to a point, but she certainly fell from that glory too soon. And no need for me to interfere.
Blaineley slid DJ's photo over.
I think I'm fortunate that DJ is the most forgiving person in the first cast. He was among the first to forgive me at the show reunions, and to this day, we keep in touch thanks to Heather. One of the biggest hearts I've ever known- Alejandro acknowledged.
Blaineley revealed Geoff's photo.
I don't have much to add about him, I already mentioned what was relevant when talking about Bridgette. He doesn't speak to me, and with more than justified reasons -stated the Latino, clearly wanting to close that subject.
We're almost done with the first cast -slides Leshawna's picture- Leshawna was another of many "victims of your charms" and perhaps her case was one of the most surprising, not only because of how risky it was, but also because it led to Heather losing a tooth.
Oh that was a risky move -said Alejandro- I exposed myself a lot and when Leshawna hit her. I think that's when I really started to see my feelings for Heather as totally serious... Leshawna and I have a peaceful relationship, but only as acquaintances, we'll hardly talk to each other on our own.
Blaineley slid Duncan's picture over and Alexander just sighed.
Duncan is another complex case. He always insisted he was the baddest of them all, but the reality is that he was just trying to hide his sensitivity. He got on that case with Gwen and Courtney, and then decided that exploiting property was proof of being bad. It's pathetic. I hear he's matured by now, but I'm not interested in making contact with him -he said without much interest.
Good. We'll save the best for the end of this group, so now, give us your opinion on the two original finalists -Josh said pulling out the photos of Gwen and Owen.
I don't have much to say about Gwen. We never interacted much and her "friendship" with Courtney and drama with Duncan just gave me a headache -his calm expression turned into an angry one- but not as much as this burro mantecoso. Owen is not someone ill-intentioned, but he is without a doubt one of the most irresponsible, immature and unhygienic people I have ever met. Having to share a flight with him was one of the most unpleasant experiences of my entire life. Worst of all, he insisted on calling me Al, even though it was obvious that it made me uncomfortable. We haven't exchanged words since the show ended, and I wish it would stay that way.
Blaineley slid the next photo, and Alejandro kept an annoyed expression as he looked at the purple-head.
Oh my. I'm thankful I stayed away from her as much as possible. Sierra could have been a major problem with her analytical and investigative skills. Fortunately, her obsessive attitude made her volatile and her focus was mostly on Cody or the Amazon team drama. But what she did... it made me question how Chris allowed some things in the program -he said recalling Sierra's actions- I know she's in a better state nowadays, and sometimes we have conversations because of our mutual contacts, but I definitely didn't have the best first impression of her.
Okay, now for the main course -said Josh sliding Heather's picture, a smile crossed Alejandro's face as he took the picture.
Ah, my beautiful Heather. To be honest, I had to watch the first two seasons quickly in order to be a part of Chris' little fake show. But I can say that Heather caught my eye from the first instant, and I knew she could be my biggest struggle in the season, as well as I was very quick to see what I looked different, and why lie, I saw her differently. Not as someone inferior, not as a pawn, I saw her as an equal.
And so began their more than interesting love/rivalry world tour -Josh said- which eventually ended with her kicking you in the kiwis at the top of a volcano.
The Spaniard grunted at the memory of that humiliating moment.
We were both fierce players, and on that occasion, the panther outsmarted the lion -he admitted- I admit it was nice to be able to take revenge on her when we met back in All-Stars. But after that, we both knew how to separate game and relationship.
Oh really? Didn't you two go at it like concert fans when Chris offered the chance to win the briefcase -asked Blaineley.
Like I said. Separate game and relationship, at that moment we were both looking for a chance to win what, in our eyes, we never lost. We never lost -he explained while adjusting his hair- After that we both went on with our lives, we had to deal with my family refusing my relationship. But finally I decided that my family should not define everything in my life, so we got married and had our little Florencia and Margarita.
Alejandro showed a photo of himself holding his daughters in his arms.
Awww, how cute -said Blainley.
But not everything is rosy in paradise. Or am I wrong -interrupted Josh.
The Latino/Spanish man snorted.
If you really want to dig into that, Heather and I broke up for a brief period of time, and during that time, Cody tried to help us both. One thing led to another, but eventually we worked it out. Cody went his own way and found his own destiny.
Josh cursed under his breath, he really hoped he could get more out of the situation. But he still had a few cards left, 7 to be exact, and he knew that with at least 1 there could be a lot of juice to squeeze.
Well Alejandro, before proceeding to your more general opinions on the rest, it would be appropriate that we discuss the 7 players you did meet from the second generation.
Josh slid Sam's picture over, with Alejandro's expression remaining neutral.
I don't have much to say about Samuel. I underestimated him during all-stars, and his stomach cost him his stay. We didn't speak to each other, and that hasn't changed -he said without much interest.
The next photo to slide in was Mike's, and Alejandro's expression became much less calm.
I reiterate. It's surprising that Chris allowed him to participate- said Alejandro- he KNEW about Mike's condition and his background, or rather, Mal's background. And yet, he allowed him to participate just so he could get ratings and maybe get a medal that "the show doesn't discriminate against mental conditions" or something like that. I have nothing to say about Mike. He's a nice guy I guess, but it's not like we talk too much either, and I can't really blame him for Mal's actions.
Blaineley slid Jo's picture over.
I don't really interact much with Jo. She's a fierce player, but her anger and ego were her weak point, something Heather was able to exploit. I respect her, but nothing beyond that -He said emotionlessly.
The next picture on the table was of Scott.
I honestly don't know what to think of Scott -said Alejandro- While I respect his strategy and he was very smart in eliminating people like B and Dawn, that wasn't the Scott I knew. Maybe it was the fact that he was in a coma for a year, but for All Stars, he was much more prone to mistakes. Still, we keep in some contact, I guess we both have in common being victims of Chris's massive negligence.
The next photo returned a somewhat disgruntled look on the Spaniard's face.
This girl really was a problem. I can't believe she was really so convinced to take Mal to the finals. We could have teamed, taken him off the way and saved us a LOT of problems. But I guess her love for Michael and her isolated childhood made her cling to him like a burning nail. Similar to Mike, we don't really talk, but I can't say I have any hard feelings towards her either, plus she has helped us with the little ones on occasion.
Josh slid the last two pictures.
Dios mio, I know I'm proud and can be self-centered, but Lightning? That guy couldn't go more than 3 minutes without talking about himself. And his mental capacity was so miserable that he was incapable of counting the pieces properly. Cameron is someone on similar terms to Zoey and Mike, I can't say I hate him, but I can't say I hate him, but I can't hold conversations with him either. He's busy with his research... and his strange love life- said Alejandro.
That's something I have to remember -muttered Josh- Well, do you have any comments about the rest of the second generation, or the third generation?
Well, Brick is a good friend of mine and Heather. Samantha and I often talk to each other. We became good friends because of our negative experiences with our respective sorority problems. I don't remember interacting with anyone in the race cast outside of the dressmakers and Taylor because of her contact with Heather.
Good. As a penultimate step of the interview, what are your thoughts on the new cast?
I haven't done much research, but Bowie and Julia, I can respect as players. Chase is a jerk, Emma is kind of pathetic to me, and Ripper is more obnoxious than Owen. The rest I don't really care much about.
I see -said Josh- Well, to finally close this, how would you describe your time on the show and your growth since then?
I think the risk, pain and humiliation was not worth it. It took me years to rid myself of various stigmas that were created by my performance on the show, and I hurted a lot of people with my actions. However, I can't say it was totally negative either considering that it is thanks to that show that I have my queen. I would say that to this day, I am happy to have walked away from the world of television after my show was cancelled por ese racista de mierda, and I am happy as the husband of a successful fashion entrepreneur and father of two beautiful princesses.
Alright, that was it. Thank you very much for sharing your time with us -said Blaineley.
The hosts closed the folders and shook Alejandro's hand before the Spaniard began to leave.
At least we know he won't be competition on the network -said Josh.
He didn't even work in the same kind of program as us -said the blonde.
Anyway, I didn't get what I expected out of him, but he certainly left me with some sweet candies that I intend to sweeten up more when the time comes -said Josh before looking at the list of interviews and crossing out Alejandro's name- ummm, our second interviewee could be a very interesting case.
-END OF THE INTERVIEW-
And so we end the first of 51 (or 50) interviews.
Alejandro as a starter is very strong, being the main antagonist of a season, and a more than outstanding player. He has many backgrounds with different Campers and various types of relationships throughout generation 1.
Still, he has matured over time, and not only he's the father of two girls with Heather, but he also has some friends like Tyler, DJ and Sammy.
As you can see, I left little pieces of certain dramas or little curiosities ahead, and that's why I went with the alphabetical format. Because now you'll have to wait a little bit for Cody to arrive, and then even with him, you'll have to wait almost halfway through to get Heather's insight.
Hope y'all enjoyed this first interview. Don't fear to leave reviews, i always love to read your opinions and see what i can improve (if you feel i did something wrong, tell me and i'll be sure to improve it in the next interviews)
