Hey, welcome to the second interview, sorry it took me some time, but i wanted to work episodes 8 and 9 of my Sammy fic since i had most of the ideas. Plus make a better close on various part of the twins that would be spoilered here if I uploaded it first. And I also had to deal with schoolworks and work.
Anyways, enough of my boring mundane life. This time we get the second season interview, and the first Gen 3 contestant, someone who will bring some spicy details for sure.
Blainley and Josh were on the set, getting ready for their next interview.
We are ready- said Blainley
Send her in- Josh demanded.
The workers opened the door and let pass to one of season 3 and the entire show's more infamous contestants. Amanda Parker, better known as Amy.
The former cheerleader now had her blonde hair tied in a long high ponytail by a white band. She wore a dark carmine red sport jacket with white lines and the letter C on the hearth área, black pants and red heels. She completed her looks with bright red lipstick and a pair of white pearl earrings. As well as a white sport purse with her name.
The mean ex-cheerleader took a seat across the table and stretched hands with both hosts.
Thanks for accepting Amy- thanked Blainley.
I didn't want to. But if everyone else was doing it, I figured that it was at least worth the attempt- she admitted with a disinterested yet sincere tone.
Hum… nice to have you here still- Josh said not knowing how to respond- So, did our team explain things to you?
Yes they explained everything to me, so you can start with the questions. I gave the girls a free day of training to make this, so I would like to make it worth it.
Explendid, lets waste no time then- Josh said grabbing the first photo: Beardo.
I honestly have very límited experience with Beardo. We didn't share a team back on the island, he was the first one gone and we didn't even cross paths until me and my sister ended shoot together. On playa de losers he mostly hung out with her and Ella, and tried to pull ambience for us with music. He's fine I guess, at least when he's not making sound effects all the time- She said calmly.
Josh grabbed the second photo, which was Leonard and presented it to the former cheerleader.
Eh, Leonard it's a very similar case in that regard. We didn't really interact back on the island, and even on playa de losers he was mostly acting like a wacko. He really wanted to win that bet with his friends. I saw him go in the race and my god. Why was he so dumb and tried that again? He may have a shot to last a bit if he had focused instead of repeating the wizard act. After that however, well, he was one of the few people I managed to keep in contact with. I say we are friends today, something you've never expect watching back the season.
Well that's a shocker- Joash admitted taking notes.
Blainley presented the next photo, which belonged to a big redhead guy.
Now, Rodney did catch a crush on you back on the island. Any words on that?- Asked the TV diva.
Ugh. That guy used to catch crushes even with a female cat. I don't know or get what was his problem, but he really was lacking proper female contact, thankfully other than his attempt to kiss Jasmine, it was all inofensive, if nothing else annoying -she said remembering her experience with Rodney- on playa de losers he catched a crush on me again, but i was not interested in the slightest, he meant well, but he was in no way ready for something like that. We've talked from time to time and he seems to be much better at controlling himself. Wouldn't exactly say we're friends, but no bad blood today.
Now that's a bit more interesting -Josh noted while writing stuff down while Blainley presented Ella's photo next.
Any interactions between you and Ella? With how naive she was, you may have tried to get her on your side after she was eliminated- Blainley asked.
Not really. Yeah sure, Ella was naive like a 5 year old. But she also wanted to avoid conflicts at all cost, thus she didn't want to do anything with me or Sammy hate and rather tried to be friends with both. Sometimes I wonder how she managed to keep so much positivity even with Sugar constantly bullying her or the Dave ordeal around. -Amy said calmly
Anything after the elimination?- Josh asked, clearly not satisfied
Like I said, she mostly hung around Beardo and my sister. I actually helped her a bit to shake off her crush on Dave during our stay in the playa, although she tried again with… mixed results… and, well, I say she was a very positive influence on me over time. We still talk today, and our kids go to the same school.
Kids huh? Well, that's pretty appropriate for the next topic- Joash said with a sly grin and sliding a photo of Topher.
Now. Rumors we're all over the place of you and your sister having a crush on Topher during the competition. How true were those rumors?
Hate to disappoint you. But they were fake, at least on my side. My sister totally had a little hot for the guy back then, but that's not my case to discuss. I mostly flirted with him off camera to mess with her, yeah he was hot and all, but his obsession over Chris was SOOOOOOO annoying. We didn't talk much after being eliminated either, as a matter of fact, he was sorta outcast from the rest like me.
The Blonde sighed as her cheeks got slightly pink.
Until a few years later. I had moved out of my house and needed a place to stay and a job. Looking around I ended up meeting with him over a coffee. We both got contracted and we figured out we might as well share a little apartament to save costs.
Oh. That sounds spicy- Josh quipped.
You're not wrong -Amy muttered, hoping the microphones didn't catch that- point is. A year and a half of sharing room, work, routine and all of that pretty much made us click naturally. I saw there was much more to him than just an obsessive TV star wannabe, there was a neglected hearth, a great ambition like mine, a hot hunk of a man, and a great husband.
Blainley slided the next photo, and Amy showed a confused look.
I honestly don't know what to say about Dave -she started- we didn't really cross words on the island, and when he was eliminated he was too hung up on Sky. He barely interacted with anyone other than Ella. And god was he a whiny annoyance.
Funny how your two were shipped due to being the most hated people from that cast- Josh said while the screens showed some old blog posts.
Ugh, People were so bored back then- Amy said a bit annoyed- Anyways. When the finale concluded, we all had to restrain Sky, Jasmine and Shawn from jumping Chris, as he basically tried to brush aside the fact that they left Dave behind. We have spoken from time to time, but wouldn't say we are friends, however I'm happy that he has overcome a lot of his demons.
Well that's something to keep notes on when I talk with him- Josh said while writing down.
Now, we are actually curious on your opinión on the next one- Blainley said sliding Scarlett photo
Oh this weirdo- Amy scoffed- I should have known there was something weird with her. She was so distant from everyone but Max, and she never really reacted to me or my sister other than the time she "consoled" me on camera. When we discovered what she did on the island all of us were in shock. I've never crossed words with her ever since, although I'm aware that she's still around and under constant vigilance.
Josh continued to take notes while Blainley slided the next photography.
Max… Max… I really have no idea what to think about Max. Back on the island I considered him a mere joke. Let's be honest, he only survived because Scarlett needed him around and Chris wanted to screw Ella. If it wasn't for that, he was good as gone. He would NEVER shut up about his world domination stuff and how evil he was. Please, even Ella had a badder bone than him and she never hurt a fly. We never talked, and to be honest, i'm not really interested.
Josh slided the next photo with a grin, as Amy saw the image of a very familiar hat wearing girl.
So Jasmine was the one person on the team that had enough brain cells to tell you and your sister apart, and thus, she became your biggest problem -Josh narrated.
Yeah. Jasmine was the biggest pain in the ass there once she and my sister became friends. She would never leave her side, this making order almost imposible. And i know she didn't intend for the manchineel swap, but that doesn't mean i was less angry. She even kept snucking her nose once she was eliminated. We got into a heated argument when I brought up her issues with Shawn and what she did to Sky and Dave.
How did you know about that? -Blaineley asked.
Topher told it during one attempt to interact with the group. He may look like he didn't pay much attention. But oh he did -Amy revealed- Anyways. We have buried the hatchet, and we do tend to talk, but it's mostly due to common contacts. We are not friends or anything like that.
Blainley slided Sugar photo and Amy immediately became annoyed.
Ugh. I'm fucking thankfull i didn't have to share much time whit her. Everything i saw from Sugar told me she was a living annoyance, and i wasn't wrong. I never understood her beef with Ella. I suppose i can respect her dedication, but how she got that far is beyond me. Never spoke with her on the island, never spoke with her after, and I have no interest in ever doing it.
Josh slided Shawn's photo.
My relationship with Shawn is almost like a mix of Dave and Jasmine. We didn't really interact much on the island, but he did defend my sister a lost post season -Amy explained- I mocked him for his whole obsession over zombies, but even I felt a bit bad with how drastically Jasmine snapped at him. Like. He only played the game, and he had no idea of Jasmine's plan of going easy on him. I respect Shawn for not losing hope, but damn, he really had little self respect back then.
What about today?- Blainley asked
Eh, we don't talk much. But he always brings some bakery for me and my girls when he comes around, so I think we are okay.
Blaineley slid Sky photo into the table.
I don't have much to say about Sky to be honest. I didn't care for her whole ordeal with Dave, and she didn't have a chance to take part in my sister's problems. She's fine I guess, at least she has stopped being a hypocrite.
Ohh, was there some fight there?- Josh asked.
I just called her out on what she did. A lot of people just say that Dave interrupted her. But oh Jolly, Sky it's supposed to be a strong woman, why didn't she just shut him up and explain things? And even then, why didn't she just explain it instead of giving him that kiss knowing it could easily backfire? -Amy ranted- I just didn't get her. She took it way bad and insulted me to oblivion, and yeah i'll admit i'm no saint, but i said no lies either. We are kinda okay today, but that's mostly thanks to Dave and the rest being on the middle and we wouldn't speak alone by any chance other than sometimes gossip about our respective training sessions.
Thats something to remember- Josh said while sliding the last photo. Making Amy sigh.
We're… do i… begin? - she questioned looking at the image of her twin.
Take your time -Blainley said- there's a lot to unpack there.
And we want as much detail as possible- Josh added.
She and I… weren't always like you saw us. We used to be regular sisters who got along, had the odd verbal fight and that's it- Amy began- we were pretty close, and covered each other backs. Things changed one day cause… i believed she killed my cat.
Both hosts recoiled at the revelación.
I'm sorry. You BELIEVED she killed your cat?- Blainley asked.
My mom and I went to visit my aunt one day. Samey. Sorry, Sammy and my Dad stayed back home with my pet cat, Princess Fluff- Amy narrated as she showed images of her as a child and her white cat- When we came back, i saw her burying it in the backyard. Ever since that moment, I made her life a living hell, all those things she mentioned were true.
And you never talked to your father? Hell, did you parents ever noticed you're abusing your sister? - Josh asked
No. I was pretty good at covering myself -Amy admitted, although her voice and face delated that she wasn't proud- look, I don't want to dig up much more on what happened at the time. I feel that's Sammy field and depends on her.
It's okey honey. But what happened after that show?- Blainley asked.
Well, things were the same for a while. Other than my sister actually being able to stand up a bit, My parents also discovered the truth after they saw the show. And secretly started to consult with doctors for… something. Point is, eventually Sammy and I made some peace over the whole situation, but our relationship was never the same, and I ended moving from house shortly after. We still speak to this day, but whe are far from being united as we once were.
Josh made more notes, specifically one about Sammy and the cat.
Okay Amy. Do you have anything to say about the other generations of contestants?- Blainley asked once the blonde twin managed to recompose herself.
Well, I briefly talked with Lindsay and Beth, but not much to be honest. I'm actually good friends with Anne Maria and Jo, and I also got to meet the fashion bloggers and they're very nice. Everyone else kinda falls here or there, we maybe talk with common friendships in the middle, but not much else.
And what about the newer generation? What's your opinión on Chris' new set of toys?
Well, I was pretty moved by Bowie and Raj. Wayne it's also super sweet. Emma… girl needs some serious advice on her life. I can't feel bad for you if you go crawling back to that walking dumpster every time he makes ONE single "good" action. Ripper is disgusting, and I respect Julia's play, even if she was very lucky as well. I don't care too much for the rest.
To close this. How would you describe your time in the show, and your growth ever since?- Josh asked.
My time there was TERRIBLE. Just as much as I was. But it was deserved, i got a big buttload kick of karma right on my face and sucked it up. I'm definitely much better now, and while some stuff can never be the same as before, at least people did not completely close their doors for me -Amy related while correcting her ponytail- Today I'm a wife, a mother, a true sister to a degree and a teacher to a whole class of girls. And I wouldn't change anything about this life for that stupid freak show ever again. If Chris even attempts to present me with a new contract, I'll tear it up and shove it down his mid life crisis throat.
I'll pay good money to see that- Blainley admitted with a smile- thanks for sharing your time with us.
Amy shook the hosts hands and grabbed her purse before walking out the studio.
Well, a lot more juice here. I definitely must remember a lot of this for the rest of the weirdos generation -Josh said looking at his notes.
You're so lucky cameras dont film these last parts -Blainley said while checking her makeup.
Whatever. Next one could be something really curious, I really want to know about her "particular" relationship with that teather boy -Josh said while crossing Amy's name off the list.
-END OF THE INTERVIEW-
And so, the second interview is finished. I'm sorry this one is much shorter, but the Pahkitew cast and a part of the Revenge cast sorta share this due to their reduced screen times.
So, I'm not exactly a fan of canon Amy. Due to how little we have of her, her conflict, etc. Definitely one of the biggest reasons why I wish the third gen had another season.
So expanding on her was a nice experience, using the grounds I made in Sammy Successful Shift (no, that fic is not canon, i'm just using the same backstory) and adapting it to the canon. But we still have Sammy's side of the tale.
Likewise, I added my favorite Amy ship, Tophamy or Ampher as it is also called. And my own vertion of them getting together post Pahkitew.
Finally, I had to expand on her interactions, and I have to credit BadLuckAE, since the idea of Amy getting along with Leonard and Ella was taken from his "After Drama: Pahkitew" proyect. Go check it out on his Instagram or over the TD Reddit.
This should be my final project for this year. But I'll return next year with the next interview, as we now have the final A letter entry, and the first ROTI contestant. I would prepare something to cover your nose, she has a tendency to spray.
Thank you all for reading, and have a great Christmas and New Year. This is Cueva, and i'm surviving. Are you?
