Summary: After Fairy Tail disbanded and the members went their own ways, Lucy Heartfillia was not the same. She missed everyone and felt how her heart was becoming colder every day. After half a year of living a life without meaning… she met him. He gave her a new meaning in her life. This is the story about Lucy Heartfillia and her new comrade. It is time for a new adventure.

Crocus was the capital of the Kingdom of Fiore. This was where the Great Magic Games were held. The city was located in a large valley surrounded by high and low mountains. Nearby there was a river that enclosed small islands and also the river splashes through a gorge. On both sides of the river was forest that stretched into the distance. The buildings were assembled in a kind of circle as far as the eye could see. The characteristic of the city was that the streets, buildings and much more were occupied with small pretty flowers. In the central part there was also a small lake with a small island in the middle, where the Mercurius stands, where the kingdom of Fiore is ruled.
Naruto walked along the river that ran outside the capital. Today was his day off and that meant he could go for a walk outside the city again.
He wore his normal clothes outside of work. This consisted of a black T-Shirt, long grey trousers and a black belt. In addition, Naruto wore black sandal boots and a short-sleeved, red jacket with a high, black fur collar. Naruto always wore the jacket open and so you could see the t-shirt under the jacket. It also didn't seem to have anything to close the jacket with.
Due to Naruto's red hair, the red jacket matched his appearance very well. The black fur collar on the jacket harmonized perfectly with the black T-shirt under the jacket and the black sandal boots. The gray pants also fit well into the picture. Many people found that Naruto looks very good on this outfit. Through the T-shirt, you could also see his muscular body.
Naruto had both hands in his pockets at the moment and was walking along the river, relaxed. He liked to went for a walk-in nature. It's always a welcome change from city life.
Naruto suddenly stopped and looked around. He's not just an ordinary bartender, because Naruto could also use magic. He learned everything he could from someone and through his long and hard training, Naruto had developed a 6th sense of danger.
In a red light appeared a Kunai in his hand which he threw to the other side of the river. He could see how a bullet of dark magic shot out of the forest and was just about to hit him. A second before the magic bullet could hit him, he simply vanished in a crimson flash and appeared in mid air and snatched the Kunai with his right hand. He landed safely in a crouch before he raised himself and looked on the other side of the river.
He could feel several magical powers. 'What's that supposed to be? That's at least 20 mages,' thought Naruto to himself.
He just stood on one side of the river and looked over at the other. There were forests on both sides of the river, and Naruto could see movement in the forest on the other side of the river.
Several people in dark robes came out of the forest and were soon on the other side of the wide river. Naruto could see the same symbol on all the people, and this led him to immediately conclude that these people belonged to a dark guild. 'What does a dark guild want near the capital? No dark guild has ever ventured so close to the capital,' thought Naruto.
He couldn't see the faces of the members of that Dark guild, but he could tell that every single member was a male. He narrowed his eyes when he saw how a member of the dark guild raised his hand and aimed it at Naruto.
"Dark Magic: Death Beam!" A black magic circle appeared in front of the dark mage and out of it shot a beam of black magic that raced through the air towards Naruto.
"Fire Magic: Flame Bombs!" Naruto took a deep breath before a red magic circle appeared in front of his mouth. He unleashed a stream of red-yellow fire from his mouth that traveled through the red magic circle. When the red-yellow stream for and the black magic beam met each other, they rubbed for a second against each other before an explosion was triggered and a black cloud of smoke appeared for a brief second.
Naruto threw his kunai towards the group of dark mages and jumped back to dodge another bullet of dark magic. When Naruto saw how his Kunai landed between 3 mages, he simply vanished in a crimson flash and appeared between the 3 mages.
"What the fuck! How did he just appear here!" said one of the magicians. Naruto stomped on the ground once and rotated on his own axis. He lifted one leg and did a roundhouse kick. It hit one of the magicians square in the face, knocking him back a bit. Naruto jumped over one leg and leaned back a little in the air.
"Fire Magic: Explosion Sphere!" A red circle appeared under Naruto's feet and immediately afterwards a red sphere of fire appeared around Naruto, which spread in all directions and sent the magicians of the dark guild flying through the air. Some were able to use their magic beforehand to avoid being hit by Naruto's attack, but others were hit by the attack and took some damage.
Naruto ran towards one of the mages and jumped at him. Naruto spun in the air and kicked the mage away. "Blades Magic: Spear!" A gray magic circle appeared in front of one of the mages. A spear came flying out of the magic circle and flew straight towards Naruto. Naruto landed on both feet and caught the spear out of the air and spun it around a bit and blocked 2 sword strikes with the tip of the spear.
The mages used Blades Magic to equip themselves with a sword. Naruto wasn't just skilled in unarmed combat. Naruto thrusted the spear forward. A magician deflected the spear with his sword and then tried to hit Naruto directly with a sword slash. Naruto jumped up once and blocked the sword again with the tip of his spear. While he was still in the air, he threw the spear at one of the other mages and then turned away to the side.
A bullet of dark magic flew past Naruto and after a few moments crashed into a tree. The tree was enveloped in an explosion of dark magic upon impact and was completely destroyed.
"Blades Magic: Piercing Rain!" A gray magic circle appeared in front of one of the mages. Several swords, knives and similar blades came flying out of the magic circle. Naruto landed on both hands and when that happened, he simply let his body fall. He turned into a windmill and simply kicked all the swords away with his feet while he moved around on his own axis on the ground and did the windmill. After the swords stopped flying towards him, he jumped back up and landed on both feet.
"Fire Magic: Flame Bombs!" Naruto took a deep breath and unleashed a stream of red-yellow fire. The red-yellow flames raced through the air towards 3 dark mages. 2 Dark mages were slamming both of their hands on the ground. 2 black magic circles appeared under their hands in the process.
"Dark Magic: Wall of Darkness!" A wall of dark magic rose in front of the three mages and shortly after crashed the stream of red-yellow fire into the wall of dark magic. Something landed behind the three mages on the ground and just a second later appeared Naruto in a crimson flash directly behind the three dark mages.
A red magic aura pulsated around him while he held both palms open. Energy swirled into a spinning sphere of pure energy. "Energy Make: Dual Rasengan!" Naruto slammed both rasengan into the back of 2 mages. The eyes of the two mages widened when they felt the pain of the spinning sphere of magic energy that was tearing their flesh apart. After a second both mages spiraled away and crashed through a few trees. Naruto went into a handstand and pushed himself back. He picked his Kunai up in the process and blocked a few knives that were shot at him when he landed of both feet. When he had blocked every single knife with his Kunai, he threw it away and looked behind him.
"Lightning Make: Dragon's Maw!" A lightning dragon formed itself out of nowhere in front of a dark mage, roared once and looked at Naruto with his red glowing eyes. Naruto jumped back and already took a deep breath of air before he focused his magic.
The lightning dragon roared once and shot towards Naruto, destroying the ground under him a bit in the process. A few bolts of electricity were left on the destroyed ground. It shot towards Naruto in high-speed.
"Fire Magic: Giant Flame Bombs!" Naruto unleashed a giant stream of red-yellow fire from his mouth and with it he attacked the giant lightning dragon. When both spells met each other, Naruto's flames simply destroyed the lightning dragon and raced towards the dark mage who created the lightning dragon.
Naruto's spell trapped the dark mage in red-yellow flames, and everyone could hear his screams of pain while he felt how his flesh began to melt from the high temperatures of the flames around his entire body.
Naruto landed on both feed and turned around. Naruto sprinted towards another mage and took a knife from the air and threw it up. He jumped after the knife and did a front flip. He kicked the knife back towards its owner, causing the knife to fly through the air at a rapid speed.
The knife just barely missed the magician's face, leaving only a small cut on his cheek that was barely visible at first. Only after a short moment did a straight cut appear where red liquid flowed out in a moderate amount.
"YOU BASTARD!" shouted the mage. A black magic aura pulsed around him, and he raised both of his arms. A black magic circle appeared in front of him "DARK MAGIC: DARK JUDGEMENT!" A massive beam of dark magic shot out of the black magic circle, three times the size of the Dark Beam from before.
Just before Naruto got hit, he flashed away to the kunai he threw earlier and appeared at a tree where the Kunai was. He took the handle of the Kunai and pulled it out of the tree before he looked at the explosion that got triggered from the spell of the dark mage. The ground shook a bit as a pillar of black magic rose in the distance and destroyed a good portion of the forest. Luckily it was in the opposite direction from the capitol. This magic explosion could have killed many civilians.
Naruto concentrated for a second. "Shunpo!" (Flash Step) Naruto simply vanished into a burst of speed. This spell was a high-speed movement spell that was created by his master. Because his master created it and only taught it to Naruto, he was at the moment the only mage who could use this spell. It wasn't an ultimate movement spell, since Naruto couldn't use this spell very often without damaging his own body. He accelerated his body to speeds no human or living being could perceive and this put a huge strains on his entire body. Using this spell once or twice in a long battle wasn't a problem but using this spell often would definitely cause problems for Naruto.
Naruto appeared behind one of the mages. A blue sphere of pure energy could be seen above his right hand. "Energy Make: Rasengan!" Naruto slammed the rotating sphere of pure ethernano into the magician's back. The magician spiraled through the air and crashed into 2 of his guildmates. The Rasengan had detached itself from Naruto's hand and pierced itself into the magician's back. When the mage hit his two colleagues, the Rasengan exploded, and the result was an explosion of pure energy.
The screams of pain of the 3 magicians could be heard loud and clearly. Naruto jumped back and did a back flip. As he spun in the air, he simultaneously kicked a magician in the face who was charging towards Naruto with a sword. Naruto kicked the magician away again and then landed on his 4 limbs. He pushed himself straight forward and threw the kunai away again.
He went into a full sprint and charged towards one of the mages. "Blades Magic: Piercing Rain!" Dozens of blades came flying out of a gray magic circle. Naruto raised his arm and pointed it to the side. A red-yellow flame appeared in front of his palm, expanding to the side. The tip of the flame formed into a large hand. The great hand of flames grasped a rock and seemed to pull itself towards the rock.
Naruto had used his fire as an extended arm and thus got himself out of the line of fire. He pulled himself towards the large rock with his red-yellow fire and took a deep breath of fresh air. While he was still pulling himself towards the rock, he unleashed another stream of fire from his mouth to counter a torrent of water.
When both elements crashed into each other was a little bit of mist created from the evaporated water. Naruto landed safely on both foot and vanished in a crimson flash. He appeared directly in front of a mage who stood in front of his thrown kunai and made an uppercut.
The magician's head snapped back, causing the magician to now look towards the sky. Naruto threw a volley of punches at him and through the magician's face you could see the pain he was feeling. At the beginning he just had big eyes, but with every punch his pupil became smaller, the veins in his eyes became more and more potent and, in the end, he spit out blood.
Naruto ended up holding both hands next to his body. He held both palms open and struck the mage's chest with his open palms while he was still in the air. The uppercut lifted the magician a little off the ground and throughout all the punches Naruto had made sure that the magician stayed in the air.
Just before the two palms collided with the chest, Naruto engulfed them in red-yellow flames. The two palms dug into the magician's skin, and you could hear the cracking of several ribs. For a moment it seemed as if time had stood still.
Shortly afterwards, the magician shot through the air, leaving several rings of air in his path. The man screamed from the wave of pressure that passed through his body and the pain on his chest. As the man disappeared into the forest, a large cloud of dust could be seen in the distance. The cloud of dust seemed to be caused by the impact of something.
Naruto still stood there with both arms outstretched. He relaxed his body a bit and let both of his arms fall next to his body. He looked at the other magicians. He had hoped that the other members of the dark guild would disappear now that he had shown off some of his strength. That didn't seem to be the case because the mages were all firing something at Naruto. Be it Blades Magic, Dark Magic, Lightning Make or even Ice Magic was being used.
Naruto took the kunai and threw it in the air in a fast movement and shortly before all the spells could hit him, he flashed to the kunai and snatched in out of the air. He twisted his body towards the ground and threw the kunai towards a certain spot on the ground. He clapped both hands together before he took a deep breath of fresh air.
"Fire Magic: Majestic Demolisher Flame!" Naruto unleashed a massive wall of red-yellow flames that spread on a wide scale. The dark mages all got wide eyes when they saw the massive inferno that Naruto had just unleashed from his mouth. No one could see Naruto since he was behind the massive wall of intense red-yellow flames.
Everyone tried to protect themselves with a wall of dark magic but not everyone was fast enough to get the wall up in the last second. 5 members of the dark guild were all swallowed by the sea of flames that spread on the ground when Naruto's spell hit the ground. Naruto didn't stop to unleash fire from his mouth and because of that the massive wall of fire wandered along the ground and burned everything to ash that it touched.
Let's say that a good portion of the forest of one side of the river wasn't so green anymore. Naruto stopped after a few seconds and landed safely in a crouch. He looked up and could see that the 5 members he hit were on the ground, unconscious with heavy burn marks all over their body. The flames all vanished when Naruto stopped his spell. He used his mastery over fire magic and let all flames vanish since he didn't want to cause a massive forest fire. He burned already a good portions of the beginning of the forest on one side of the river.
Naruto stood up and for a few seconds no one moved from their spots. He was counting the remaining members of the dark guild and narrowed his eyes. 'Something isn't wrong here. Did they got reinforcements?' thought Naruto. He counted more mages that there should be left.
The wind blew over the landscapes and because of that Naruto's red hair and jacket moved a bit. His purple eyes were focused on the dark mages before him.
Naruto was holding his right hand up. In his right hand appeared a katana in a red light. It had a red handle and oval sword guard. He had taught himself a sword style since his mother was a sword master because she could use Blades Magic. She was known as Benihime (bloodred Princess). Well… no in this dimension but that wasn't so important right now. His master gave him a scroll with the sword style that his mother used. He later found out that most Uzumaki, whether now mage or not were sword masters. Again… not in this dimension but that wasn't important. Naruto wanted to made his mother and his clan proud and because of that did he train a lot with the sword too. His master wasn't a sword user and because of that he trained alone. After 10 years of training with the sword he could say that he was also a master with the sword.
He charged forth and a few of the dark mages equipped themselves with swords or other weapons before they all charged forth as well. Naruto made a sword slash at the first enemy that came in his reach. His sword slash pushed the axe of the mage away before he had to block the sword slash from another dark mage.
He went deeper into the mob of dark mages while he slashed right and left, blocking and attacking the dark mages. He blocked 2 sword slashes with his katana before he pushed them away and kicked another mage behind him in the stomach which sent him flying away. Naruto's sword was surrounded by red-yellow flames before he made a 360° sword slash around his own axis.
A wave of red-yellow flames was unleashed in the process. A few mages were blown away from the wave of fire and got a few burn marks on their skins. The other mages reacted fast enough, either jumping over the wave of flames or ducking under the wave of flames.
Naruto went into a specific stance and looked at a group of 6 mages that were all in one spot after they jumped away. A red magic aura appeared around Naruto and spread for a second while the ground cracked slightly from the sheer amount of magic power that got unleashed. Naruto's red aura turned into crimson flames that surrounded his entire body. His sword also was surrounded by crimson flames.
"Secret Sword Magic: Rengoku!" Naruto pushed himself off the ground, flying towards the six mages while the ground got destroyed from the sheer force of Naruto's legs. While Naruto raced towards the 6 mages, the crimson flames around his body turned into a massive dragon head that roared at the 6 members. In the snout of the dragon was Naruto, ready to obliterate everything that came into his way.
He traveled at high-speed towards the 6 mages. Only one could get away before Naruto got to the 6 mages. Everything the other mages could see how the dragon close his mouth and swallowed the 5 mages before an eruption of fire was triggered that shot into the air and spread in all directions. The pillar turned into a flaming tornado that drew the spread flames into himself before the fire tornado vanished.
Naruto got revealed. He stood in a deep crater he created when he unleashed a devastating slash when he appeared in front of the group of 5 mages. The 5 bodies of the mages were nowhere to be seen. Naruto's attack had killed them and burned them to ash in an instant. Naruto turned his head to the rest of the mages and narrowed his eyes.
The dark mages didn't make a motion to retreat or something like that. It was more like they were preparing for another attack even when they saw how 5 of their comrades got killed in an instant.
'Just like I thought,' thought Naruto. He could see 8 mages he already defeated earlier in the fight. They still had their burned clothes but the wounds he put on them were all healed. Someone had to heal those dark mages and that meant that one or more people were hiding and healing the defeated mages while Naruto fought against the rest.
'I guess I have no choice,' thought Naruto. The Katana disappeared in a red light from his hand. A kunai appeared in his hand in a red light before he threw it away towards the city. He just wanted to get away after his next action.
Naruto vanished into thin air and appeared in the middle of all the dark mages. He had both arms spread in both directions while a crimson aura of magic energy pulsated around his entire body.
"SECRET FIRE MAGIC: FIVE FIRE GOD'S FAN OF FLAMES!" He clapped his hands together and immediately after, the area was engulfed in a massive inferno. There wasn't a single spot that wasn't burning at that moment. Every mage, whether directly around Naruto or slightly away, was caught in the flames. Naruto was also surrounded by the flames, but he received no damage from the flames. Not even his clothes burned.
Each mage screamed in pain as their skin and much else on their body burned. Naruto still stood there with his hands together and even after the screaming stopped, he didn't stop his magic.
After 30 seconds he dissolved his magic and all the flames disappeared. Around Naruto laid the mages of the dark guild with severe burns all over their bodies. Naruto could have held every magician in his flames until nothing was left but a pile of ashes, but he didn't want to do that. Otherwise, he would get into problems with the Magic Council. He clearly felt several people approaching his position and that's why he decided to leave.
One specific beauty with long blond hair and brown eyes could see Naruto for a brief second before he vanished into a crimson flash. The entire area showed signs of burns. Even the rocks on the sides of the river had black marks on their surface. A small part of the edge of the forest was also engulfed in flames and therefore this part was completely burned down.
(A/N I hope you all enjoyed the second chapter and the fight between Naruto and the dark guild. Since this was a "Past Event" it normally would have been written in this type of characters but since that would be a bit weird, I made an A/N at the beginning of the chapter. I hope that didn't confuse anyone.
