"Well. Time's a wasting." Crimzen declared. "Let's get the next prophecy out of the way. Bones! Activate The Oracle System!"
"Activating the ORACLE, Captain!" Bones replied, setting down his new invention. It was a replica of the Galaxy Galleon that functioned as a team cannon.
The Oracle spoke up. "The power of Three shall set you free. Over ocean, land and Sky, the power shall fly."
"Well, that's...annoyingly vague. Let's land and search." Crimzen noted.
"The prophecy mentioned 'The power of Three' so maybe we should separate into groups of three to search," Joe suggested.
"Good plan, first mate. You, me, and Sanna are Team 1. Allie, Bones, and Adrian. You're team 2."
"Well, at least there's no Zang armies nearby," Allie noted.
"Yeah...I wonder what they're doing?" Bones wondered.
"And where is Philippe?" Crimzen wondered.
Hidden in the mountains, a man dressed in red and black ninja gear opened his eyes. The wind had shifted, blowing ill intent. Shane glared at the sky. "They're finally here." He muttered.
POWER RANGERS! PIRATE SQUADRON!
Sailors of the Sea of Stars, Heroes from beyond Mars,
Time to unite! Time to fight! Time for heroes to take flight!
Rangers return! With power to burn!
Time for evil to learn!

Meanwhile, In Zang Fleet space, Lykia showcased her newest creations. "The clone I created of Vexacus has all of his genetic donors powers and abilities, as well as his memories and personality.."
"Where is he?" Prince Payne asked "Send him in!"
"He is already here, my liege." Midos noted. "Show yourself!"
Vexacus descended from the ceiling, upside down. A streak of grey and black, and he was right-side up and standing before Prince Payne, who yelled in surprise and hid behind Muramassaca.
Vexacus bowed. "You have saved me from the blackness of the eternal void." Vexacus stood. "I owe you a debt."
"That's good. But weren't you working on two clones?" Prince Payne asked his head scientist. If Lykia could grimace, she would. "Yes, well, the other one is a sort of good news/bad news situation." Something invisible lifted Lykia up. The invisible thing decloaked, revealing a kabuki face painted armored samurai-like being holding up Lykia with one arm.
"Hi everyone! I'm the new Shimazu!" He yelled. He held up the peace sign with both hands. He stared at his hands for a second then realized what he had done and caught Lykia as she fell. "Thank you beautiful Lykia for resurrecting me from the icy shadows of death. As thanks I will-" Whatever he would do next was lost to time as Lykia slugged him in the mouth. Lykia stepped over him and yanked his face up to look at their prince.
"The good news is his memories and techniques have been perfectly duplicated. The bad news is his personality and some of his abilities have been replaced with that of a cheesy jokester with an obsession for...chestnuts." Lykia explained.
"Chestnuts?" Payne asked.
"Chesnuts," Lykia repeated.
"Why...?"
"I think he relates them to jokes?" Lykia shrugged. "I don't get it either."
Vexacus sighed. "Well, he has a...decent plan"
Shimazu laughed. "We'll turn them all into the perfect fuel for a rocket to blow the humans up!"
Prince Payne sighed in annoyance. "Let me guess, the fuel being chestnuts."
"You're a wise prince!" Shimazu hugged the prince, who swiftly pushed him away. "Just go!" He snarled. "Vexacus, go with him."
Crimzen took a deep breath of the seaside air. Something about it calmed him, cooled the flames in his soul.
Sanna and Joe followed. Their leader seemed better. His eye was clearer, no longer with the flames of rage and obsession that burned in him over Philippe and the Legacy of Red.
Unfortunately, that peace was broken by the screams of frightened people. The team looked and saw to their left, people being turned into giant chestnuts.
"...Are you seeing this too?" Crimzen asked.
"Yes." Sanna replied.
"Very hard to miss, Captain." Joe noted.
"Good, didn't want to be the only one."
The three morphed as Shimazu appeared, picking up the chestnuts.
"And now this is happening." Crimzen cocked his fist back. "Let's do it!"
The three rangers attacked, firing their blasters. Shimazu disappeared, reappearing behind the heroes. He weaved through their sword strikes until Joe managed to clash with him, smashing his hilt into Shimazu's face, then knocked him back with a kick. He fell toward Sanna, who kicked him in the head, struck him with hilt of her blade, then kicked him in the groin before smacking him toward Crimzen, who landed a flying kick on his face. The three pirates scrambled to capitalize but Vexacus attacked them out of nowhere, using his speed to slash the rangers in a blur before landing beside his friend.
He looked at the rangers. "You call yourselves sword slingers? Let's see how good you are!" He attacked Joe and Sanna, while Shimazu fought Crimzen. The Rangers struggled valiantly, but the two aliens slowly overwhelmed them. The aliens combined blasts, sending the rangers spinning away. Shimazu laughed wickedly. "Time to disappear rangers!" Just as they powered up another blast, Adrian, Bones and Allie appeared. "Six! There's only one thing left to do!" Shimazu seemed to gather energy around himself...before taking off, dragging Vexacus with him. The rangers chased after the two, only for them to ambush the rangers and blast them! The six heroes landed near each other, slowly rising.
"Now to unveil my ultimate attack!" Shimazu declared, opening a portal under the rangers. Right before they all fell in, the primary color pirates pushed the others out of the way. They fell, and the others screamed.
"CRIMZEN!" Allie shot a glare of pure hate at Shimazu through her helmet.
"Joe!" Adrian gripped his trident harder.
"Sanna!" Bones' voice cracked in despair.
Shimazu looked at his wrist, pretending he had a watch. "Oh, time for me to go. You handle them, partner!" He began to teleport away, then stopped and summoned Kelzacs to fight the remaining rangers.
"Get back here and tell me what you did to Crimzen!" Allie's voice chased after the retreating alien! Then turning to the Kelzacs, she roared with rage, more a tiger than a kitten, and launched herself into the attack. Bones and Adrian followed her lead. Vexacus watched them fight and decided to do the smart thing. He signaled for a magna cannon blast to enlarge himself.
Allie blocked a Kelzac's attack and looked to Adrian. "Adrian, deal with him, please?"
"On it! QV3!" Adrian summoned his zord and took on the giant shark alien. Vexacus laughed to himself and began to slash the Megazord. Just when Vexacus was about to finish Adrian off, a yell of "Lock and drop, ready to rock!" was heard. A barrage of shuriken struck Vexacus and a green minizord appeared from the heavens. The Zord flipkicked Vexacus, then bound him to a nearby building with more shuriken before nodding to Adrian.
"I have no idea what's going on, but I'll take it!"d Adrian declared. "GO! Tri-Drill Slash!" The triple forms of the QV3 manifested and attacked as one, destroying Vexacus.
Allie and Bones finished taking down the Kelzacs and greeted Adrian.
"Now, how do we save the others?" Allie bit the side of her hand in nervousness.
"We can help with that." A voice spoke up. Three people, two men and a woman appeared with ninja speed. Shane, Dustin and Tori, the Wind Ninja Rangers.
"A master ninja can enter the dimension they're in." Shane explained. "But we'll need our powers for it, and we used the last bit we saved from the war to send the ninja minizord to you."
"So, we need to borrow your key...things." Dustin explained.
"We'll give them back." Tori promised.
The rangers looked at each other. "You can save them?" Allie asked.
"I promise. We'll have them back before beach closing." Tori promised.
"Find Shimazu's launch site and disable it!" Shane commanded.
The Rangers nodded and handed the ninjas the keys. They transformed into the Ninja Storm disks, powering their morphers.
"Ninja Storm! Ranger Form! Ha!" The three Wind Ninjas transformed, and the three nodded. As one they blasted open the portal, entering Shimazu's dimension

In the portal, the three pirates fought an endless legion. Ninjas from the past assaulted the pirates.
"This isn't working!" Crimzen declared.
A stream of primary colors, and the siege broke. The ninja masters stood before them. "Let's go!"
"Who are you?" Crimzen asked.
"We're the Hurricane Ninja Rangers." Shane calmed his mind. The three ninja masters blitzed the enemies in a string of red, blue and yellow.
"You've got strength, but no style!" Dustin laughed as he disappeared into the Earth. Massive earthquakes resulted and he popped out the ghost-ninjas disappearing.
The pirates gathered around.
Crimzen frowned "What are you doing here?"
"Saving your butts," Tori responded, flipping over the trio, causing a huge wave of water to wash away more phantom ninjas.
"How are we supposed to get out of here?" Sanna asked, annoyed.
Dustin laughed. "Relax. We just got to beat an infinite army of ghosts. No big."
Shane nodded. "Come on. Show us your determination, pirates."
Meanwhile, Allie, Bones and Adrian were fighting a neverending tide. As if the Kelzaks weren't enough, they were now being reinforced by Cyborn. Each one they struck down, two more took their place.
Lykia and Muramassaca beamed down. "We can't let you stop Shimazu's plans" Lykia's voice was cold with threat.
"If anything happens to our friends, there's not a machine in the UNIVERSE that will fix what I do to you!" Allie snarled.
"Big talk for a little kitten" Lykia sneered.
"I'll show you Kitten" Allie growled. She leaped forward and attacked Lykia. Bones and Adrian followed her lead.
Back in the dimension, the rangers and their temporary allies battled. Crimzen and the Ninja Rangers cut through the hordes, before being faced with a large group of Cyborgs. Crimzen grinned under his helmet.
"Let's go crazy." He declared, summoning the Armored Tyranno key. "Power of Three shall set you free, eh?" Crimzen's helmet and morpher glowed red. The key became an energy that was absorbed by his Morpher, and he began to glow.
"Armored Tyranno power!" Crimzen roared, and his transformation began. The Mighty Morphin' Red Ranger suit appeared but with the armbands and golden chest shield of the Green Ranger.
"Armored Tyranno!" Crimzen summoned the Power Sword and Dragon Dagger. He charged forward, slicing a Cyborg in half before striking the next with a double slash and finishing the final one with a kick.
"Not bad, pirate" Shane commented.
"You're not too bad yourself, ninja."
"We're not done yet!" Dustin warned. "Now, let's get you dudes out of here, alright?"
The Ninja Storm rangers placed their hands together, summoning their powers. This was the same blast that sealed Lothar, and hopefully, it would break open the dimension. "Ready?" Shane asked. The pirate squadron nodded.
They fired together.
Allie, Bones and Adrian were fighting their best. But Lykia and Muramassaca were elite warriors, backed by an army, and Shimazu, despite his goofy demeanor, was still a skilled fighter.
The rangers were running on fumes. They were almost done.
The ground trembled and a burst of red, white, blue, and yellow energy blew open the portal.
Crimzen jumped out, and the pirates joined him. The ninja rangers came last, and the portal slammed shut.
Lykia and Muramassaca's eyes widened.
The pirate team was all back together. And the three ninja masters, the Ninja Storm Rangers, were with them.
"Hey, Allie-Cat. Miss us?" Crimzen asked.
"CAPTAIN!" Allie ran and hugged him, then punched him in the shoulder. "Don't scare me like that."
"Sorry, sorry, just saving the world and getting new friends." He pointed at the Ninja Rangers.
"Friends, eh?" Lykia asked, and she and Muramassaca and Shimazu began attacking the now nine rangers. The ninja rangers fought with the pirates. Joe, Adrian, Dustin, and Bones fought Muramassaca and his Cyborn guards. The four worked as a team, with Adrian slashing down Cyborn to clear the way to Muramassaca and Bones firing his Flintlock Blaster at the strongest swordsman in the universe. Joe slashed at the abomination his brother had become, but Muramassaca blocked it and countered. As the relentless monster fought off both Joe and Adrian, Bones looked up. Dustin was swinging on a rope towards him! The Green Pirate ranger grabbed the Yellow Ninja's legs and fired down on the monster.
Allie, Tori and Sanna also fought, taking the battle directly to Lykia. The scientist unleashed her laser whip, striking all three and knocking them back, sparks flying as she swiped them again and again until they dropped to the floor. But not to be deterred, the girls rose. Tori formed a ninja symbol. "Water blast!" She yelled out. A jet of steaming water blasted out of the ground and knocked Lykia back. Allie and Sanna jumped over Tori's arms and landed slashes on Lykia's chest. The three stood, Allie and Sanna with their flintlock blasters and Tori with her Sonic Fin, and all three fired.
Both of the higher-up Zang backed up. "Shimazu, you're on your own." Lykia sighed and the two teleported away.
Shimazu was not having a good day. Crimzen landed a spinning kick to the chest that opened him up for a double slash from the two rangers that sent the alien ninja flying. As Shimazu rose, Shane landed a flying kick on Shimazu, using his wind powers to keep himself aloft to continue to slash Shimazu. Crimzen, simultaneously, ran along and slashed Shimazu before a double kick slammed the evil being back to the ground.
"Let's end this!" Crimzen called out. Adrian inserted his gold key, turning into his gold mode. Allie and Bones inserted their keys into their flintlock blasters, while the other pirates inserted them into their swords. The Ninja masters, standing beside their pirate-colored counterparts, powered up their own slashes.
"Final Crash!" The pirates yelled! "Ninja Style!" The Ninjas added.
Adrian fired an energy wave from his Trident in Spear mode, and Allie and Bones fired. The six Primary colors slashed their blades, firing a sword beam. The attacks collided, forming a ninja shuriken made of golden light that slammed into Shimazu, slashing through him and exploding the missile's console. Shimazu exploded.
In a golden flash of light, everyone he'd transformed returned to normal.
"How's that for an old chestnut!" Dustin yelled.
"Dustin, no." Tori sighed.
Lykia sighed and prepped the Magna Cannons. "Firing!" She fired and the beam struck down to Earth.
Shimazu grew to giant size. "I'm BAAACK!" He called.
"OK. Let's go crazy!" Adrian and Crimzen began summoning the zords, but Shane held up a hand.
"you'll need this." Shane, Tori and Dustin demorphed, their power disks returning to their ranger key forms. The three ninja handed them over to the Pirates.
"Use these. You may have a surprise."Shane grinned.
Crimzen nodded and the Pirate Rangers leaped onto the Galaxy Galleon.
"Let's do this. QV3!" Adrian's Megazord was the first to appear. "Ready? Tri-Drill Slash!" It began to transform.
"Pirate Megazord." Crimzen's voice spoke. "Ready?"
"Let's finish him, once and for all." Joe commanded.
The two Megazords attacked, but Shimazu was better, swirling his staff to block the Mega Cutlasses and striking the Pirate Megazord in the side. The QV3 tried to interrupt with a drill attack but the fiendish alien ninja blocked it, smacking the attack away and sending the QV3 stumbling back. Not finished, Shimazu raised his staff to the sky, arms open wide and purple lightning blasted the two Megazords.
Adrian screamed in pain as his console exploded.
"Adrian, retreat for now!" Crimzen commanded.
"Aye, Captain!" Adrian fell back, leaving the fight now between the Pirate Megazord and Shimazu.
The three ninja masters, still on the ground, stared up at the pirates, looks of determination and acceptance on their face. They nodded at the ranger's ship, glowing.
Inside the Megazord cockpit, the Hurricane Ninja keys and Thunder Ninja keys began to glow.
"Another True Power?" Crimzen wondered. "Well, in honor of the Ninja Storm rangers...Let's use their catchphrase."
The five pirates inserted the keys. "Lock and drop! It's time to rock!" They turned the keys.
The Minizord reappeared, throwing kunai that knocked Shimazu down. It continued on, flying to the Pirate Megazord. A golden glow washed over them, and the Minizord combined with the Pirate Megazord. Shuriken extended from the Pirate Megazord's arms and legs, the chestplate turned green with the black and red Ninja Storm symbol replacing the Pirate symbol, and the Megazord's head was replaced by the Minizord's own. The Minizord's flying shuriken appeared in the right hand of this new formation, to be used as a deadly weapon!
"Ninja Pirate Megazord!" The five rangers shouted.
"Let's Go!" Crimzen yelled!
The first strike of this counterattack was devastating, knocking Shimazu's staff aside to slash his unprotected chest. A followup sent the alien ninja backing away, pained.
"Eat this! Hurricane Shuriken chain!" Sanna turned her key, and a chain attached to the massive shuriken. The Megazord spun this deadly flail thrice before slamming it down on Shimazu, creating a massive explosion.
"Shuriken Storm!" The five rangers yelled as they turned their keys, and the smaller blades on the arms and legs fired, a storm of throwing stars Shimazu could not hope to evade.
Shimazu fell to his knees, hurt but not defeated. He rose. "That was your big finish?"
"No." Crimzen smirked under his helmet. "This is!"
The Rangers turned their keys. "Final Storm!"
The Minozord defused from the Megazord and flew at Shimazu. But it was not alone. Summoning eight clones of itself from ninja energy, all nine flew toward Shimazu, wielding their massive shuriken blades. Each strike caused red lightning to flow from Shimazu. He finally fell and exploded as the Ninja Pirate Megazord turned away from him.
Crimzen and the other pirates, demorphed now, shook hands with the ninja masters.
"You three were amazing! Incredible!" Adrian bounced with excitement. "Can I get your autographs?" He whipped out his book.
As Dustin and Tori signed it, Crimzen looked at Shane. "So what big lesson were we supposed to learn here."
Shane smiled and shook his head. "No big lesson for you guys. We just wanted to see you fight. Make sure our powers were in the right hands."
Crimzen rolled his eye. "Really?"
"Hey, not everything's a world-ending moral lesson." Shane smiled as he watched the pirates. "You got a good crew. Protect them."
Crimzen nodded. "With my life."
"Good. Here." Shane took Crimzen's pirate morpher. He and the Morpher began to glow. A bar began to fill up. "You're one step closer to your goal. The Legacy of Red."
Crimzen's eye widened. "You know about the Legacy of Red? What is it?"
"Something every Red needs to discover for himself. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a class at three and a skate park opening at four. Dustin, Tori! We're out!"
The ninjas disappeared, using their ninja super sprint to jump away and leaving the pirates with new abilities and new questions.
