Chapter 3

Johnny exited the building and headed towards his Hexer, as he noticed A lady with A bob haircut smoking while sitting on his bike. "Excuse me, lady, It's my bike you're sitting on," He said, "Get out". "Sure whatever, Johnny." She replied, as she stood up and leaned against the wall near the entrance door, holding her cigarette.

"How the fuck do you know my name, lady?" He asked, angrily

"We work together now, Biker. I work for the United Liberty Paper, so work on your attitude." She responded,

"Yea whatever you say, lady." He said as he got on his bike and started the engine.

"Name's Karen by the way,"

Johnny stared at her and drove away towards Alderney. While driving he made 2 phone calls, first to Angus, to tell him they needed to talk and ask if they could meet up. at his place in Acter, to which he agreed. The second call was to Clay.

"Hey there, Clay." He said as he saw Clay answered the phone.

"What's up, Johnny brother?"

"There's some shit going down, could be useful as fuck for us right now. Let's meet up at Angus', okay?"

"We're on our way, brother."

An hour later, Johnny, Clay, Terry, and Angus sat around the coffee table in Angus' living room down in his apartment in Acter. Johnny talked them through everything. The call he received, the impression he got from ULP, and the deal they agreed to.

"Shit, whole town's falling apart because there's no Lost no more uh?" commented Terry. Clay added, "Yup brother, this city needs the Lost, or it will be swarming with deadbeats, and them Russians. So, High-risk High-reward uh?".

"And most important," Johnny added, "We get A free exit jail ticket. Clay, Terry and I escape town, establish A new chapter somewhere in this country. Angus my brother, no one deserves this role more than you, rebuild the Liberty chapter."

"But you know what this means for us, yeah brother?" Angus asked Johnny, which replied with "What is it, Angus?"

"The Lost does not have to stay local no more. We can start completely over, go national for once, stick our nose wherever them deadbeats are."

Johnny was never fond of going national, he liked the Lost's strong roots in LC, but now that their original clubhouse burnt down, and Billy Grey amongst many others no longer with them, it was time to build A new legacy for the Lost motorcycle club.

They all agreed the deal was good for them, and decided to act up. While they were together, Johnny phoned ULP contact.

"Hey Johnny," He said as he answered the phone,

"Hey there, I talked with my brothers, we are ready to do this."

"Great, start now. The first thing we need you to do is make peace with the Angels of Death, just like when Billy was in prison."

"AOD? How?"

"Bribe them, just like last time. Remember you stole A huge amount of heroin from them? Well, The coke that was used to take down Elizabeta by the police is kept at the Fortside police station in Bohan. Hand it to them. That way, they will not mess with your plan to rebuild your chapter. Besides, they are bitter enemies of Petrovic. Get access to the coke and offer it, along with Billy's bike. Call me when it's done."

Johnny, Terry, and Clay rode together to Bohan, with Johnny leading the formation. On their way they discussed strategy on how to obtain the bag full of coke. The ULP contact said he has A police officer inside to give him access to the evidence room once he's inside, but someone has to get in first. They heavily considered the guns-blazing approach, the one they know best. but with the heat on them right now, it would not make any sense. The only idea they had in mind was to get dressed as A cop and go inside.

"I ain't dressing like no pig, brother," Clay said.

"We cannot show our faces anyway near there," added Terry.

They realized they needed A fourth party to do that for them. Johnny knew who could help him. He first phoned back to ULP to ask if he could arrange A police uniform for him. The contact said there would be one waiting for them at the Westminster station in Algonquin.

Then, Johnny phoned Malcolm.

"Hey Malc," Johnny said,

"My man, Johnny. How can I help?" Malc said, always happy to hear Johnny.

"Well I need you to do something really stupid Malc, but it's for the brothers, and I'll owe you one."

"Bitch, you owe me already, but tell me what you need."

Johnny talked him through the plan . They agreed to meet up in Northwood to get the coke. 2 hours later, Johnny, Clay, and Terry were sitting on their bikes, drinking coffee and smoking, waiting for Malc. As he showed up with the bag, Johnny and Malc greeted each other, Malc handed the bag, and Johnny filled him in on what was going on, and asked him to help Angus whenever he can when they're gone.

After Malc drove away, they headed towards the now-rebuilding clubhouse of the Angels of Death. When they arrived, they saw Lester Arnold, the chapter and MC president, Joe Johnson, their road captain, and Albert Lawson, another senior lieutenant, surrounded by other low-level, probably two-bit AoD members.

When they saw the 3 Lost bikers getting close, they all aimed their weapons, all but Lester. With guns aimed at them, Johnny, Terry, and Clay parked their bikes. Clay and Terry holstered their weapons and aimed back, while Johnny stood up and raised his hands, As A gesture of peace. Johnny looked at their clubhouse and its rebuilding process, thinking to himself how ironic it is that it was him that destroyed both their clubhouse and his own.

"Look who it is, brothers. The Almighty, Johnny Klebitz," Lester said as he slowly walked towards Johnny. What do you want?" Lester asked,

"We are not here to fight, Lester. We wanna fix the mess Billy created, bring back the truce"

"The fucking truce?" Lester shouted. "After you destroyed our clubhouse? Stole our H? Killed our brothers? Why do you guys even think you'll get outta here alive?"

"Enough with the threats, Lester. Billy fucked us all. Here's Billy's bike." Johnny said as he pointed towards the bike Terry sat on. He stepped back to Clay and took the bag of cocaine from him. "Here's our offering.. Billy's bike, and A bag full of cocaine as compensation for your H."

Lester sent 2 of his thugs to collect the bag and the bike, while still aiming their guns towards Johnny. Lester looked at Joe and Albert for A few seconds and it seemed Like he made A decision. "Alright, Johnny. We accept. You are free to take care of your business without us interfering." He took A few more steps closer to get in Johnny's face. "But remember this you Jewish prick, this truce is VERY fragile this time. As soon as anything the Lost does interfere with our own business, we are going to have A problem."

The 3 Lost MC members left the area with 2 bikes. On his way home, Johnny was hit by nostalgia, to the time he only was A prospect in The Lost, and the arguments he had with his elder brother Michael about befriending bikers. He never imagined he would be in the place he is now, never saw himself as A natural leader, not nearly as charismatic as Billy. But he was very calculated and had A rational state of mind regarding major decisions. In every move he made, he thought about the end goal, to make sure they did not suffer from the negative consequences of their actions. Maybe that is why he was promoted, appreciated by his peers, and highly valued by Billy when it all started.

It was not the same Billy after he was released from prison. Billy always was hotheaded, but he knew that, and that is why he surrounded himself with guys like Johnny, to balance it out. It did not seem that Billy was looking for balance before he turned states. It made him wonder, after meeting ULP and getting introduced to the world of government officials running the underworld, what if Billy was instructed to provoke the war with the Angels of Death again, so both gangs will suffer and weaken?

But all those thoughts caused him A bit of A headache, all he wanted was to rest and prepare for tomorrow.

"I'm telling you again you fools, you keep doing this bullshit, you Will get caught, you locos," said Luis, seemingly in an argument with his 2 best friends Armando and Henrique.

"Ohh Mr. Downtown, Mr Big Shot." said Armando "You don't need to sling dope, you forgot how hard it is to earn money in the hood, You got your gay boss to hook you up with work. H and I are finally becoming earners, gettin' this paper."

"Nothin' but facts, A." Said Henrique, backing his friend up.

"Come on man, you know Tony ain't around no more. Besides, I always told you I can hook you up with Jobs, But you gotta stop with this drug bullshit. The only ladder you are climbing on is the LCPD most wanted." Tony argued back.

Luis cared about his friends. While he was A teenager, growing up and sharing experiences with his best friends, they got into A lot of trouble together. They were all members of the Northwood Dominican gang.

That was until Luis did time in prison.

The experiences he had been through while incarcerated, made him realize he must stop the drug dealing and gangbanging lifestyle and start sacrificing himself for business he considered "matters more". It was A common pattern in gang life. The wiser A gang member gets, the more he wishes to eventually look past his two-bit criminal life, considering it not important enough to risk his life for. This pattern appears in every gang, in every part of the country, be it Liberty City, Carcer City, Florida or San Andreas.

Luckily for him, he met Tony, who handed him A second opportunity in life and offered him to be his personal bodyguard. He paid for his lessons at the flight school, taught him how to handle major business dealings, and eventually gave him A minority stake, making him A business partner. Then, Luis felt like he risked himself for business that mattered more. He offered Armando and Henrique A chance several times to work for him and leave the uptown lifestyle for the downtown one. But they preferred to stay in touch with their fellow gang members, namely the Gomez brothers and Willy Valerio, believing rising through the ranks in the gangs has more prestige and meaning to their lives, rather than making Luis' choices, who is being laughed at in the neighborhood for his life choices.

Now, Tony is gone for A few months now, and Luis knows the ULP contact is right, the people Tony owes money to will come for Luis for their cash.

"I got A real business proposition for you, something that will earn you A lot of money, no drugs involved," said Luis to his friends.

"Don't start with this shit again, L. If you want to hang out with your little homies, you know where we are" Said Armando

"At the hood is where he means, Luis. Because we never left," added Henrique.

"Etiendo. A'ight I'll see how's my Mami. See ya around," said Luis as he started heading towards his mother's home.

"Say hello to her. Tell her we are stopping by for lunch later", said one of them, he was too far to hear whose voice it was.

"Whatever. Fools"

As he walked down the street towards his mother's home. He felt sorry his friends wouldn't listen to him. But he realized he could not be held back by them again. He made this decision once. It is time to make it again. He picked up the phone and called the number from the business card he received when he visited that government agent.

"Hey, It's me, Luis Lopez. I'm ready."
