Taylor chuckled in return. "No, I couldn't possibly figure that out on my own," she said sarcastically, a warm smile on her face as she smiled at her lover. Her eyes followed the glass as Lady Loki picked it up, first glancing into the crimson depths of the drink. She watched as it was placed against the God's perfect, thin lips covered in black lipstick, then be gulped down because of Loki's lust for good red wine. When she was done, they went on. As Taylor had asked, the two got into that deep conversation specifically about personal preferences she had so dearly wanted. Taylor was so ecstatic to learn more about Loki. They were simple things, sure, but his fiancée didn't care. Like always, that fascinated expression came over her face. It only ever broke when she went to go grab another piece of the chilly sashimi that rested on that aesthetically pleasing plate. From that conversation, Taylor learned many things she hadn't known before, and Loki learned more about Taylor. For example, Taylor's favourite drink was lemonade. Every time they talked and talked like this she just felt so much closer to Loki.

One thing Taylor noticed while they were eating was how much she didn't like the tuna as much as the rest of the fish. She found it too fishy and it was strangely soft compared to the other ones she had tasted so far. It was the texture she didn't like most of all. It's funny how sashimi and sushi in general made you realize how much texture mattered in food, and how it could affect what you think of it. She preferred the sashimi that was more crunchy and had better form. So, Taylor stuck to eating different things, leaving Loki to have all the tuna he wanted, her lover seeming to not mind it. She stuck most closely to the salmon, scampi, and scallop. Of course, she assumed that she'd have more sashimi again in the future, so her favourites may change again.

The sorcery controlled waiter came back and took the empty plate away, but was told another thing beforehand. Taylor had wanted dessert, ordering the sorbet selection. Again, they got to have a bit more alone time in the restaurant as they waited and then when they finally received the second part of their dinner. This plate was smaller, but just as pretty. There were circular scoops of different kinds of icy sorbet, and some Midgardian fruits to try. Taylor discovered that she liked the strawberry sorbet best and the orange slices. They were so sweet and delectable, making her want more. Again, Taylor was left impressed with this realm's cuisine, not aware that what she saw on the menu wasn't even scratching the surface of what Midgard had to offer, this being just in the food category too. "How lovely those flavours were! Wouldn't you agree?"

Once they finished everything, the couple paid for the bill. Like always, it was no problem for Loki to pay since he could just make money with his mind. There were absolutely no consequences to getting all the expensive stuff they craved. After finishing with the bill, his lover looked from the waiter who came back to Lady Loki, guessing they were all done here. Taylor stood up and sighed in pure satisfaction, looking very happy. "Hm, that was very good. Darling, thank you so much for taking me here. I very much enjoyed it," Taylor commented as they stood up and began to walk to the exit, the smaller woman taking one last look around the beautiful place. She mentally said her goodbyes to the place, even waving to that confused and shaken waiter that was finally released from the zombie like state.

Once they were outside, they were hit with a wave of coldness from the air of the early night. Obviously, Loki must've loved this kind of temperature; he must've felt so relieved being drenched in the freezing feeling that was perfectly compatible with his Frost Giant body. She had noticed last night how he liked to sleep with the windows open and radiated an icy aura much more intensely when he was asleep. She assumed it was because he likely felt most comfortable cold, and when you sleep you obviously want to be as comfortable as possible. Taylor didn't mind that when they were sleeping together, but this was different. She could deal with Loki's need for a perfect sleeping space because she liked it cooler too, but this was much worse than a pleasant night of intimate snuggling. This coldness was harsh and unpleasant to her bare skin rather than gentle, and she had to cover it up now.

She crossed her arms and began shivering out here, but luckily she had that magic that her fiancé had gifted her with. After imagining something in her head and checking the scene for the stares of other people, a black, wooly coat formed on her body, her ring glowing in the peaceful darkness. It was quite fashionable and warm, which adequately satisfied her. She had seen this is the window of a fashion shop when walking here. Leather gloves also formed on her hands. Now she felt much better, and she took Lady Loki's hand, squeezing it gently. "Ah! It's so cold out...So, darling...where are we going now? A hotel maybe? It is getting pretty late, and everything is probably closed. My guess is that there's nothing much to see or do at this hour." Loki, of course, knew that this statement was very untrue. His unsuspecting fiancée had one more thing to see, and she had no idea what was awaiting her under the guise of magic shielding her eyes from the sky.
