The days that followed the largest event in recent Remnant history were filled with one big surprise.

~NRK~

Naruto wore a relieved if not concerned smile while holding up all that beautiful orange hair as Penny finished barfing into the toilet.

"Oooooooooh," she groaned as she clenched her eyes shut, electricity burning away any 'stains' around her mouth as she covered the toilet bowl in a small barrier and flushed. "I-I didn't think morning sickness was so… Ughhh," Penny whined as Naruto chuckled.

And then he froze, jaw dropping, as Penny got up with a small strained smile but one that spoke of pride and excitement.

"I-I'm pregnant, I-I think!"

~NRK~

They didn't just jump to conclusions and got a personal opinion from Beacon's nurse first thing in the morning.

That one-armed fox Faunus grinned as Penny's eyes shimmered in excitement, the doctor nodding as she held up a chart with an attached pregnancy test.

"Yep, looks like you two have something big to look forward to.," she told them happily.

Penny covered her mouth in excitement while Naruto fistpumped.

"Yes," the Grimm man grinned.

Minutes later, they found themselves in the teachers' lounge and revealed the news to their adult friends & family.

The cheers alone had them looking embarrassed and yet proud, Glynda beaming at the pregnant woman who looked over the moon.

"I-I'm glad the child will be well-received," Penny admitted with dark-red cheeks, Pietro patting Naruto on the back as the Grimm looked proud.

"I'm glad, ossan, seriously," Naruto said. "I want to build a family with Penny and I'm hoping this goes beyond well."

"Of course, Naruto, I understand that. I'm gonna be a granddaddy!" The former-paraplegic laughed joyously before nudging him a bit.

With Penny crowded by their female comrades, she couldn't hear the two's whispers.

Naruto blushed, rubbing the back of his head. "I may have got an idea about that."

"Yes, what is a baby without the 'set' they will live with?"

"I-I'm working on it," he said quickly in their huddle… Which was soon enlarged by all the men in the room. "H-Hey guys," Naruto said bashfully.

"Yer thinking about the big 'Ring', aintcha?" Qrow smirked as the Grimm nodded.

"I don't think there's a single reason for either of you to not work out," Taiyang smiled as Naruto relaxed a bit. "Seriously, marriage is a big step but, in the end, you two are as close as an unmarried pair could be. You're just putting a literal 'ring' to it."

"I'm trying to figure out how to do this, ya know? I mean, I think Penny will like whatever I give her but I want it to be important," Naruto cupped his chin. "... Honestly? I know it sounds un-romantic but I wanna give her something that will enhance her skills."

"Hey, ain't nothing more romantic than an 'I hope you're safe, here's this super secret power'," Qrow 'crowed' as the others looked amused.

"Yes, well, he's not all that wrong," Pietro chuckled. "But, in Penny's case, what would that be?"

"Something to up her energy output, maybe? Or does she need a spell that lets her hit pretty far?" Naruto didn't look sure. "Penny's super smart, she's got most of that stuff already, too. I think I need to give her something she can't make…" His eyes went to his hand and it flexed. "... That's it."

Currently seated on the cliff above Emerald Forest, Naruto sat cross-legged as he finished a call.

"It's one after the other," the Grimm man said to himself as lights, explosions, and cheers of victory echoed from down below. "Seriously, why do they think I'm up for ANY kind of contract when I said what I did?" He looked offended.

"Many would say it's the pride of some people," Ozpin said from beside him. "Thoughts?"

"Just thinking about the end of this month being two weeks away. I'm working on the sub, making a transport ship with Petra's help, giving Mercury & Nora their personal training with Penny-chan, and then considering the end of the 'Politics' lessons. We're going to have these kids really focusing and then the Water Walking Training is gonna be public."

"A lot is on your plate, of that no one can make a mistake. Have you received any calls from Mistral?"

"Oh yeah, it turns out, the Farum Society wants to accept me into their familia."

Ozpin raised a brow as Naruto snorted.

"I can imagine how that went, what of your other foci?" Ozpin said intently.

"The Water Spirit hasn't said anything," Naruto shook his head. "Haven't heard back from Ero-sennin either about the Gate. Right now, all I can do is wait. Speaking of, I made a bit of headway with Ed," he smiled. "I've been having him watch human videos about study topics and told him to focus. He's getting better at paying attention and really paying attention."

"You set up a test, didn't you?"

"Hehe, yep. I pause it and ask him questions about the people teaching the lessons. He's still harsh about how he describes 'em but he's slowly just 'observing'. No cursing, no snarls, nothin'. He's telling me about their faces, their teaching styles, if they're boring, and all kinds of stuff."

Ozpin smiled at that as lightning carved into the forest. "I'm glad, you truly have a good grasp of people and emotions, this is likely to be a big part of child-rearing speaking of which…" He raised a brow. "How is she taking it? Bodily, I mean."

Naruto looked sheepish. "Penny's been going over her memory of all the informational videos she'd downloaded before becoming a real woman," he said. "You never think about it but Penny's had the entire CCNet downloaded before she became flesh and blood, Oz-sensei, she's literally the world's encyclopedia of almost everything up until now."

Ozpin blinked at that as he considered his words. "That's… True," he said, looking alarmed. "Naruto, Penny has a priceless amount of information in her head. If things had gone so far south that the world ended, she'd be our bastion of knowledge and could rewrite everything. N-No, not just information, I MEAN EVERYTHING," he and the Grimm froze.

"S-She could remake the internet."

"She has technical knowledge of every bit of available history."

"Penny's got the memory of almost every fighting style."

"She's well aware of all sciences and mathematics."

They locked eyes before staring out into the forest as pink & green lightning shot into the air.

"Oh," they said in unison.

It'd been one thing to know it in passing, Penny had originally been just an android, but now she was a walking-talking human rolodex of nearly every bit of information in the world.

"T-That's crazy, I mean, she never really says anything about it but Penny's Semblance is probably broken right now," Naruto laughed. "Haha, that's so awesome!"

Ozpin smiled fondly. "I'm glad that there are truly far-reaching failsafes, Naruto, the world needs to be maintained," he said somberly. "Right now, you're reaching the point to where we can make some rather status-changing moves."

"It hasn't moved, by the way. That Gate under the water is still only spitting out Grimm whales."

"And no news has come back about those little fledglings in Atlas. That said, has the Water Spirit said anything?"

"No, he's been pretty quiet but I'm sure it's been going well for him since the Earth Spirit made more space on the island. The island's diameter has grown by two miles so we're at a solid 20," Naruto smiled. "I think we should go over the whole end-of-the-month shipments, the Regen Trees have been growing well."

"Well, that's true but I believe you need to keep things in a list. Right now, there are a myriad of things to worry about," Ozpin said as the Grimm nodded.

Sitting in the bone hotel's conference room once more, they used that 'black board' once more.

Topics of Interest:

-Submarine

-Underwater Gate

-Exploration*

-Healing the populace

-Month-End Transports

-Upcoming Classes

"Anything else?" Penny asked.

"That seems to everything," Qrow said while leaning back in his seat, arms folded behind his head and his legs kicked up on a desk. "That's a decent amount of important things. Like the classes, aye?"

"Yep, right now, we're officially in the next section of our year-long course," Naruto told them all, nodding to the kids. "We're finished with the General Class and will be focusing solely on the combat-side of things with small breaks in between for refreshers on our General Class, alright?"

"That makes sense, I guess," Adam admitted. "Despite my pain with it, forgetting everything we did in the beginning would get to us eventually, huh?"

"Yep," Raven said. "Never forget that what gets you in the ass, usually, is politics."

"Huh."

"That said, we're not just going to be focusing on classes, the end of February means we have a shipment to make," Penny reminded them. "And that means that the transport ship needs to be upgraded via our security system so I'll need to go and put those in before things get out of hand."

"Seriously, Penny, you seem like you're downright ridiculous in utility," Kali said as Ghira nodded before he cupped his chin. "Oh? That could actually be really useful."

"You mean having Penny set him up with some sentries, right?" Naruto asked as Penny gasped in awe.

"I completely should! All things considered, I should have been spreading my newly-made technology," she beamed. "I'll work on it as soon as possible!"

"Speaking of things that need to be worked on, we're almost done," Pietro told the group from his seat. "We're extremely close to finalizing the submarine."

"Actually, about that," Taiyang began. "What's the goal after you finish it?"

"Well, likely, we need to go and observe that underwater gate. With Naruto's materials, we can go in as close as needed so we can possibly figure out what's going on with it."

"That's still dangerous," Jacques said. "Even if, say, it doesn't attack you. What happens when you're close?"

-Sadly? We don't know- James admitted on a monitor. -At the moment, things have settled somewhat but we're not sure if we're on a crunch or not… And I believe I need to inform some of you of something important- He nodded to his idea, seeming hesitant but willing. -But that's for later-

'What could it be?' Ozpin wondered. "Hmph, true. For now, the end-of-month scores will be revealed at the beginning of the week of the transport, that way there's no obscene rushing from our superpowered students."

"That'd be pretty bad," Jiraiya chuckled. "Still, how long are these shipments supposed to take? How long will they be on the island? Rules for travel? You don't want photography on the island that can get out, that'd make life a real problem."

"And I'm not saying there will be any of that, Penny can use a sentry to fully-search down any student, but they're already going to increase interest because of them coming. We knew that going into this," Naruto said. "This is purely a move on our part, no folly at all."

"Very true," Glynda said. "I'll make sure to enforce as many rules about the transport as I can but people can be rather selfish, we'd be right to focus on security measures."

"What else can we do besides patting them down?" Vernal asked.

"Making sure none of them have any signals being blasted to a tower," Raven realized. "Penny, can you do something about that?"

"Yes, I'll add a specialized jamming signal to the boat but, still, we're really pushing this," Penny said as Naruto blinked before gaining a grin.

"I think I know what to do but, first, we need to finish the submarine and test it out," he told them all, confusing the group.

~NRK~

Working in one of Beacon's bullhead port areas, Naruto, Pietro, James, and Penny stood before that large ocean-blue machine made up of Uzu wood, Penny-reinforced metals, Atlas Dust refinement, and just good old-fashioned schematics.

It was large, being the size and width of a bullhead including their wingspan. Having a wooden bottom covered by black fur, a metallic blue top covered in windows and large fins with glowing circuit-like lines on them, a trio of antenna 'horns' that formed at the front in bone colored blue above a large set of flood lights, a large bone-made propulsion 'tail', and a pair of guns on its bottom, sides, and tip.

"That should be it," Naruto smiled. "So, what'll we call it?"

"Hmm," James smiled. "How about the Triton? All things considered, it's meant to conquer the seas and it is basically a weapon."

"Sounds grand," Penny smiled.

"It's certainly going to cut through Grimm at a shocking rate!" Pietro chuckled. "With this beast, it's time for us to truly travel another mysterious set of the depths of our world."

"Alright, with that said when?" Naruto asked. "Right now, it's finally done but we don't know what the best time is. I can make clones so we're not down on manpower but what kind of 'first trial' should we make?"

"That's true," the bespectacled man rubbed his beard. "If we're going to do this right, it has to be done with those prepared."

"Why not just send a bunch of Naruto clones?" Penny asked. "If we're just doing this to get some idea of what's happening down there without any losses, that would be the best idea."

"True but the fact remains that he can't handle all the equipment. There are reasons we're all here and not just him, it requires different moving parts that we can't just push anyone into, no one knows of that Gate, either."

"True," Penny cupped her chin with a frown. "But no one else can take it, there's no one here who can manage it without Atlas study and mecha-engineering."

James considered the submarine for the longest time before nodding with a smile. "Then, I'll do it," he said, alarming the others.

"Ossan, you sure? We'd be happy to have you but you are a Headmaster," Naruto said. "Knowing that, this would be a total vanishing act if you did it and something popped up…" the Grimm's arms crossed in thought. 'How can we help him, what do we do?'

"I understand but there's not many other options," James said. "Besides, these Gates are all our responsibility, it's not something we can ignore nor will the public," he chuckled sheepishly. "Maybe if I, too, had magic this might work but there'd be no time to study, I'm only one man."

One man… ONE MAN?

Naruto's eyes widened. "Then let me make you more than one," he declared seriously, alarming the others. "I think it's time I got a bit more magically-inclined, I'm gonna ask Old Man Oz on how to make a Magic Scroll and, hopefully, you'll be able to use the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu."

~NRK~

The idea was certainly one that Ozpin saw more than enough reasons behind.

"I'd be a fool to be against it but, Naruto, you have to understand that any one misstep and this will make the world hyper-focus on you more than ever," the Beacon Headmaster said. "If anyone sees any of your skills in others, that will bring down quite the maelstrom of issues."

"I know but, even if that happened, I think it's time to stop being so passive," Naruto smiled. "It's time to make some moves to actually make things better," the Grimm declared. "And that it's time to take our students island-side to make their training take a serious jump when we get this scroll working."

"I believe it's a magnificent idea to do, we could literally double or triple all of their training," Penny smiled. "And it's time to see where I stand on your more 'neutral' abilities."

Glynda tapped her chin in thought. 'If they can make the scroll, getting stronger will truly be more doable compared to having a 'single' life,' what could she do in that time to push her own skill set? "I'm interested as well, I'm offering myself up to help make this scroll."

'Even Glynda,' Naruto's kindness and reach truly were vast & wide. "... Very well," Ozpin said with a nod as he got up. "Naruto, to make a magical scroll is not too difficult but you'd have to adjust it which is where the issues may lie."

"Let's do this after school is up," the Grimm man said.

~NRK~

Teaching their last two classes for the day, the entirety of the adult group in-the-know convened in the bone hotel while the other's families handled the kids.

"W-Wait, he's gonna make a clone scroll?" Raven asked in shock while Vernal blinked.

"That sounds so cool," she grinned. "So, I'd be able to get twice as strong in the same amount of time."

"Essentially, Naruto's cloning ability allows the clone to pass on anything form of mental or energy-based training back to the original when they pop," Penny began as she wrote it out on the black board. "The idea is to make a scroll aligned with spiritual power or Aura since those already copy your soul's shape."

"So, let me just get this out in the open," Raven said. "Why not just make everyone who knows a magic-user?"

"It ain't that easy, sis, trust me," Qrow said to her, confusing the woman.

"... Right, you have magic, don't you?"

"Yep, and it's been kind of annoying getting used to it," he said as he spun his finger in the air.

A ring of red magic formed before a crow-like symbol formed.

"I did my best to focus all-in on how to manage my bad luck and it's been crazy cool but just to do that has taken me months. When you first get magic from the Naruto-path, I'm not sure how it is for Maidens besides them needing to study, I had to understand all that annoying theory, my element, understand how to apply it to magic, and then push out my Semblance via Aura, it's NOT fun."

"So, it's totally different," Tai said. "And we also need to remember that, uh, we don't know when the next batch of trouble's gonna arise, we're not working with expected factors," he added as Garnet sat in his lap. "We can't do that in such a large group."

"What if we did it in small packs of four?" Pietro offered. "For example, I'm not a fighter and I could probably document small steps in a manual."

"That's true," Ozpin looked unsure though. "But that'd be yourself and who else?"

"Can't be me," Taiyang said. "Not unless it's vacation time and we know we have an actual walkthrough."

"Then, let it be myself," Glynda said, surprising them all.

"Glynda, is that wise?" Ozpin asked.

"Perhaps, perhaps not, but I'm a well-known 'magician' in my own right, my Semblance is not very 'described' and since I don't fight often, I likely have the least amount of variation explanations."

"That's not wrong," James said. "Still, that's only two people."

"If Amber were here, we might have been capable of having her work," Maria said. "But that's still not enough."

"What of you, Maria?" Pietro offered.

"Me? But I have my Silver Eyes, I'm not going to say I'm a full-on magic-user but I'm more of a mix between both sides."

"She's got a point," Summer said. "Besides, for us, we have a powerful alignment to Light that I don't think should be messed with."

"When she says it like that, I think she's got a point," Naruto said.

"True," Ozpin cupped his chin. "I suppose with Pietro and Glynda, the process will be incredibly well-documented," he admitted while looking around the room. "Ah, Young Mercury, Young Nora, how are your studies going?"

"Pretty well, practicing on our maxes with our elements helped a lot," Mercury admitted. "And we're getting good at breaking half the blocks."

"Yeah, they're real tough but we got some ways to do it," Nora said with a smile. "It's all shocky-shocky bursts!"

"She means trailing bolts that speed up each time," the gray-haired teen said. "I'm able to condense while she's using consecutive blows, sort of."

"Fascinating, we might be able to test you out on the second-level of spells," Ozpin said as the two perked up.

"R-Right, I forgot that was a thing," Nora said as Vernal cupped her chin in thought.

… Fuck it, yeah?

"So, how about making me all myagic and stuff?" She asked outright, surprising most everyone there sans Raven who shrugged.

"She's getting jealous," she smirked as Vernal sputtered. "Calm down, brat, it's normal to look at cool power and want it, that's life."

"F-Freaking, I'm ain't jealous," the blue-eyed brunette muttered.

"So if you're up for being a bit of a power outage, you can learn about magic but this is actually incredibly serious, Vernal, magic's not some simple thing. It's a stupid complicated system of elements, affinities, and bullshit."

"So, like Aura?"

"Yep."

"That's rude," Summer giggled. "But it's not all wrong, you start learning magic from your element," she told her. "Following that, you learn how to exercise your element in three mastered ways before moving on to the next level."

"The 'Magna-' levels would have you focusing on spending time manifesting all manner of that element for a couple years," Naruto supplied. "The difference between a spell's 'beginner' version and the next is like night and day."

"With the three levels to elemental spells, there's a stark difference," Penny began as a PM AIM shot off her chest and sprouted a screen. "The difference is as such, the base-level has the potential to match that of a high-refined Dust Crystal."

An image formed before gaining animation.

One a person who shot out Ventus and crushed the side of a car while another person threw Dust and got a similar effect.

"Magna-Ventus is the next level and it allows someone to match Dust enhanced through Aura."

The next animation showed a person shattering the ground around them with one cast of the spell while the other one showed a charging outline form around a figure and they aimed an attack of similar power.

"And, to be noted, that Dust being charged can only match the base of 'Magna-' spells," Ozpin explained. "That level's power gasp can be incredibly vast. One person's maximum potential could have them move a large ship with the power of wind alone, think Naruto's original traveling dinghy."

"That's a good amount of power," Sun said. "But of the other max?" He grinned. "Unless Naru-bro's showing that side."

"I'm a bit special so it's not really fair," Naruto chuckled. "But I'm essentially what the max looks like at 150%. Let's see… I could probably move that large boarding ship I got everyone on with that level of power."

"That's so sick."

"So, the next level is 'what-' spells?" Qrow asked. "Not even Naru over here has touched one, much less talked about 'em."

"That's because he's never gained the right mastery… Perhaps," Ozpin looked thoughtful. "Perhaps before today," he said as Naruto and Penny grew excited. "Both of you, honestly, show enough ability with those other levels to be allowed to step into a Grand Magician's shoes but Summus-Spells are a bit different."

"Summusspells?" Penny looked surprised. "I don't understand?"

"They are the last step of the basic spell trio, Summus-spells, or 'Supreme Spells', aren't attained as naturally as one would assume," he explained. "To gain that level, one must be capable of causing natural phenomena," Ozpin explained. "You need to have the power to cause natural elemental events."

"So, like, thunderstorms?" Nora asked.

"Or tornadoes," Mercury realized. "But, then, pops can do that kind of stuff."

"He's not wrong," Summer said with a look of confusion. "What would mine, ours, be like, Maria?"

"I wouldn't know, I've never even heard of Supreme Spells before," the visored woman admitted. "But I have to assume the natural portion of it means it's not simply a powerful spell."

"You'd be correct," Ozpin said. "To reach the Supreme-level, one's spells won't just defer to one's power and element… But the very world itself," he raised two fingers. "These spell-levels are essentially two-parters unless conditions are right: First is to cause the natural event. Second is to use a spell to embrace the natural event."

Naruto blinked. "Ain't that like Sage Mode, though?" He asked.

"It is but the difference is key, you are mixing in energy from a foreign body but Supreme Spells are different. For example, let me explain it like this: Spells you cast can be FAR stronger than you are."

"Oh," Penny's eyes went wide. "I-I understand, it's like how our attacks can do more damage than our physical bodies, correct?"

"Oh, like Ma's Magneta," Nora realized.

"Exactly, you're essentially recycling spell power," Ozpin smiled. "It's why it's such a difficult thing, you have to not only beckon natural forces but then use that zone of power to your benefit. It's why people of Penny's elemental have the hardest time, you have to be capable of summoning, perceiving, and USING actual lightning or currents. You're special in that you created a form that allows you to accelerate all your bodily abilities and senses to a near-lightning level."

"So, for Naruto, it's a hurricane or windstorm," Penny considered the idea. "And, for me, it'd be a lightning storm or lightning strike, I see how problematic such skills are."

"Supreme Spells are not something that could even be called uncommonly attained. There were less than 100 wizards in my era who could even use them, much less master them," Ozpin said. "Likely, only four individuals could, the ones known as the Four Pillars: Igir, Vena, Tonite, and Aquku. They had great control over fire, wind, electricity, and water and they could reshape the world around them to near impossible levels, they owned very large portions of. The. WORLD."

"That sounds horrifying," James said with a bead of sweat going down his brow before he considered it. 'But if such a person could appear in our group,' then perhaps those Ballum wouldn't even be a footnote in their history.

Hell, any monster wouldn't be a footnote at that point.

"It sounds more busted than even Maidens," Raven said.

"In a way, Maidens are the perfect form of sorceress to gain Supreme Spells," Ozpin shrugged while shooting her a raised brow she scoffed at. "But they can only do so with tutelage."

"How do we start, Old Man Oz?" Naruto asked.

"He's right, if there's power we can attain beyond our own, it's necessary to get it before something else goes crazy," Penny said. "Like, say, an angry Great Spirit."

Ozpin's face went blank at her words, trying to find an example of something to at least make them think better of it.

But considering the size of the Water Spirit from their words? He felt a growing unease settle in.

"We know you're worried, old man, and we get it," Naruto said. "It's not simple 'power' that we'd attain if we got it, the shift in balance of the world would change in a crazy way."

"He's got a point," Tai said. "Anybody learning how to use such spells would be literal deciders unless something was raised in balance. Which is why I think that we need that power now more than ever," he explained. "Just one Great Spirit would be an issue but there are four, Five if that little Earth Spirit Guy is serious."

"Sadly, it's not like this is some simple thing anyway," Penny reminded them as Ozpin looked down in thought. "Even Master Ozpin says that only four people of his time where this was all non-unique could master them, and the number to even use them weren't that great either."

"But when's 'the time'?" Qrow offered. "There's no point to you two, very much YOU TWO, NOT learning how to do these crazy spells. Especially considering that the Gate underwater is looking like an island-level threat," he frowned deeply. "I don't want our home sinking to the bottom because we were too worried about something not even the best of us could do, not even Oz."

Ozpin's frown grew before he sighed. "Qrow is not wrong," he admitted. "We're not working against a clock we're aware of, much less the other powers in the world who might want to destroy us," Salem.

Who knew when her next attempt would be? Ozpin had the 'pieces', right now, to defeat anything she threw their way but… But if she came into a Supreme Spell of her own, one of darkness, what would he have?

A spirit who didn't even align with their best interests? Three more who may either detest them or potentially like them?

No, he wasn't a fool, he knew that this wasn't a situation where they could complain about 'too much power' but if the time came where they gained it and had far different temperaments, could he trust that?

Ozpin had failed many times in the past, more so than any person on this planet, but he'd never gifted potentially world-rending power to any failure.

Not except… N-Not except for one he hoped never saw the light of day.

"Fine," he said solidly. "You're all right, we're not in a situation where 'power' is absolutely on our side but you two need to understand that such power can be beyond our very selves, we could lose ourselves to the strength that was meant to protect us."

"We'll stay strong, Oz-jiji, can't give you problems when you've done nothing but help us," Naruto grinned.

"Indeed, Master Oz, we don't take your words lightly, not one bit, but we're assured that this power will be beyond necessary," Penny smiled. "Let us show you how power should actually be used."

Ozpin felt his soul grow heavy and tired as he wore a well-worn smile.

"Very well but I don't think this will be some simple month-long endeavor," he said. "Right now, though, you need to work on that scroll, Naruto."

"Then let's get to it. We have a sub to fit with a crew and more time to get stronger," Naruto grinned. "Let's do this, guys."

~NRK~

First order of business? Make the scroll.

If they did, giving their to-be beginner magic-users training would be far easier.

That's why Naruto found himself, Penny, Ozpin, Glynda, Summer, James, and Taiyang sitting in one of Beacon's small dojos.

"To make a Magic Scroll is an intermediate effort," the old wizard said. "One, you need to be able to apply your spell to another object. Then, you need to apply it in writing and, finally, you have to enchant a scroll with the formula to do both," Ozpin explained as he pulled out several large scrolls from the ether. "We'll start at the first. What are the words you'll empower with Shadow Clones?"

Naruto cupped his chin in thought, looking at the ground before nodding. "I think 'doppelganger' is best, right?" He said.

"Yes, those words have great power in the world and that gives the spell more focus. Secondly, let's use the elements necessary to call it out, Shadow, Light, and Spiritual can all do as you desire."

They made a chart, his chosen word at the very top of a bit of parchment with each of those chosen elements branching down from it in circles.

They expanded the chart more and more, each branching line bringing more elaboration to the parchment as they did it.

Looking up definitions, the worldly view, runic alphabet, and more on the internet brought them a greater scroll than before.

"Now, with this all sorted out on the scroll," Ozpin smiled as they blinked before watching the 'chart' glow. "You have created the many conditions, the Viewing Glass, and the foundation. Now, you need to supply the magic necessary."

Naruto smiled as he rolled-up that scroll before holding it to his chest.

There was a powerful ephemeral glow that formed off of him, the former blonde sprouting vapors that coiled around them before slowly feeding into the scroll.

"Focus on the scroll, nothing but the scroll," Ozpin recited. "Envision the spell, empower the paper, enact the mystery, and let it flow into the scroll. Memory, power, experience, and reasoning. Let it all flow into the world within your grasp," he spoke 'powerfully'.

Naruto's mind centered itself on his scroll. 'Focus,' he pulled on all of it.

Every. Last. Memory. All his battles, all his days training, all his experiences.

How important this power had been, how much it power it helped him gain.

How many lives he could reach out, change, and SAVE.

Gaara, Nagato, Kurama, Obito, and Sasuke. Those had been the greatest lives he'd changed with this jutsu.

Those whose hearts were blocked off and could only be opened through battle, battle that required power he could never reach without the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu.

Odd things flowed into the scroll, surprising things.

Imagery, scenes, moving shadows, memories.

They saw the darkness unveil so many curious scenes that it began to sink in how big of an effect this one power had on Naruto's life.

Ozpin's soul grew relaxed and saddened by what he saw absorbed into the scroll.

So many battles, failures, weakness, strengths, and triumphs.

And he hadn't meant purely 'physical' ones, either.

He saw bits and pieces of the change Naruto enacted or, at least, the ones most directly caused by him.

And he saw the notable people that moved on to make life-altering choices.

People that helped save the world.

By the end, all of that glowed bright and slipped into the scroll before the parchment glowed a dark yet brave black.

The paper's colors shifted from the normal brown and straw colors to a powerful bone-white, the string binding it close being made of actual bone and, when Naruto opened it, the lettering was an inky-black that emanated power.

"Heh, it's time for us to get some real training in," Naruto smiled. "Still, nee-chan?"

"No time like the present," Glynda said as she gently received the scroll and adjusted her glasses as she held it. "Let's see here," she reached out towards an archaic circle surrounded by swirl-like symbols and a spiraling insignia.

Her finger settled at the center, the circle beginning to glow before stopping a ¼ of the way.

"Ya need to put in energy, nee-chan," Naruto offered helpfully.

"Ah, of course, you're splitting energy, no?"

Naruto looked at the scroll before his finger reached out and touched the edge of that circle.

The Grimm man chuckled as he slowly turned the circle on the paper.

"What?" Penny's eyes went blank as Tai stared while Summer sweatdropped. "Is that, erm, normal?" She asked the amused Ozpin.

"You can alter the conditions, output, or input of spells but that obviously has caveats," Ozpin explained.

"So, what'd happen if Naruto lowered the energy input?" James wondered.

"I'm trying to do that, yeah, so she'd have not as strong clones," the Grimm man explained as he finished his finger-circle, the array gaining a detailed 'point' where it showed the scroll's skill level. "So, they'll still have the effects but all these clones are doing, by this point, is taking up energy to study, that's it."

"That's fair, cutting all of our energy in half for some learning is rather problematic," Glynda said as Naruto let her do the deed. "Alright," she raised a glowing finger.

And placed it on the array, the spiritual power sucked into the magic scroll and it glowed green.

Then, it glowed and released two swirling figures who formed behind Glynda with small stumbles before a pair of shadowy arms left Naruto's back to steady them.

The others looked on in awe as the Grimm man chuckled while the Glyndas smiled sheepishly.

"Thank you, Naru…" They locked eyes with one another before looking incredibly weird about it. "O-Oh."

Glynda looked awed before she stood before them, the trio of blonde women tilting their heads in unison.

Naruto smiled as he and the others got up. "So, you guys get it, right?" He smiled.

"We do," the first clone said with a worried smile. "This is beyond odd."

"She's right, it's like knowing our purpose," the second clone admitted with crossed arms. "And that feels almost surreal."

"Fascinating," James observed, stamping down his carnal daydreams to focus on the matters at hand. "So, to make sure we know this works right," he cupped his chin.

One of the Glynda clones smiled before walking over to him and moving to the other end of the room.

They chatted about something before Naruto cast a small screen to give them privacy.

A couple seconds later, there was small yelp and 'pop' before the other Glyndas blushed heavily.

"WHY?!" The real one and a clone looked embarrassed to all hell.

Naruto looked amused as he dropped the screen to reveal an embarrassed general. "I think we get that it works," he chuckled. "Now, are you ready, nee-chan?" He smiled.

The embarrassed pair didn't look at James as the man remained steadfast on staring at a wall.

"A-Anything to let this die for now," Glynda pleaded.

Naruto walked up to her and held out his fist, the 'witch' muttering something as she looked at her clone.

"Erm, dispel?" She asked.

The copy pointed at the scroll. "The scroll."

Looking at it, putting Naruto's fist bump on 'hold', she picked it up and looked before nodding.

"Redeo."

The clone popped and she sighed.

"Wait, what happened to the other Glynda, though?" Summer giggled.

The real one's face went blank. "It's call a suicide, Summer," Glynda said flatly as her jaw dropped. "Now, let's focus on the other important matters," she turned to the grinning Grimm man.

Their fists met and energy thrummed and flickered between them in powerful amounts.

Gold and green flowed down their arms and spun together before sinking into her flesh and allowing a 'flash' of a network to show.

"So, this is what it looks like," Ozpin observed, his photographic memory allowing him to 'capture' that moment. 'It's truly a magician's network,' how incredible.

When the two stopped fistbumping, the old wizard had the Element Paper out immediately.

Glynda seemed shocked by that thrum on the edge of her skin before she released a breath and touched the paper.

Her hand glowed a powerful green before elements sprouted.

Spiritual, Light, Barrier, Ether.

"That's a powerful set of abstract powers," Ozpin complimented. "And they're all rather aligned with her Semblance, too."

"I suppose this will require more than enough experimentation," Glynda looked at her raised hand, her mind thrumming with all manner of intents, 'feelings', and pulls in directions that she didn't understand. "That's odd, my mind feels like it's being beckoned all around us."

"Those with Ether-based skills are known for their senses," Ozpin told her. "Likely, you're still feeling Naruto's remnants."

Ah, that made sense, even now, those pulls on her being were moving all around them in a swirl, a spiral.

"Hehe~ Time to try and get you up to speed, nee-chan," Naruto said. "I think we'll focus on your development first while trying to do what Oz-sensei told us about."

"This will be different," Penny smiled. "I'm aware of all the sciences of a lightning strike, it's all burned into my memory, but calling one down feels impossible. Well, it'd be so if I didn't have magic," she giggled. "I have the skills to do so, I truly believe, but I have to guess nature isn't so obedient."

"It's not," James said, not looking at Glynda while Taiyang chuckled.

"Oz always told us that nature was untouched by Grimm because it was one big magic zone," he explained. "Animals and nature aren't touched by Grimm because they don't see them as, well, something to destroy. It's humanity's existence and structures that make them violent because we represent their absolute opposite."

"I get that, it's likely also because we still have such dark emotions, that we can be as evil as possible in the worst cases," Naruto said. "Grimm are darkness incarnate and sport no other traits besides 'darkness', 'destroy', and 'kill' but nature is simply something they can't fend against, they can't 'beat' nature, it's a grander power than anything they're capable of."

"Yes, never misunderstand how big of a force nature is, Penny," Ozpin told her. "It's grand, incredibly vast, and nearly innumerable in scope. That's another reason why Supreme Spells are so great, they tap into a fraction of what that power looks like and can turn a simple man into a being beyond scope."

The former android nodded. "Always remember the truth of a matter," she smiled as Ozpin did. "We can't forget our beginnings and where we started, we are not gods and that's not something we'll let get to our heads."

"Yep, we both know what really terrifying power looks like," Naruto said. "We know that such a power can be seen as 'good' and bad. We won't forget."

"Good, I mean that," the old wizard looked more relaxed by the idea. "Still, you all can't practice here," Ozpin said sheepishly as the two froze before blushing at their mistake. "Ignoring that even a failed attempt would be far too much chance for collateral damage, showing off that kind of power despite your previous fight is still not wise."

"Speaking of, many have requested more and more of your time," James told them. "Both of you, many see you two as the leaders of the Uzu side. They wish to meet you both."

"I mean, it's not like we gain anything from meeting anyone," Penny considered. "But being so reclusive could be bad."

"True but we can't just meet with everyone," Naruto reminded her. "I mean, sure, I could probably make the clones for us to speak with them all and have some of our high-rank political friends help them but that's going to leave us with a wave of people who want all my time because of the clones."

"True."

"I think the best bet is to meet only certain folks," Summer told him. "No news casters, no podcasts, and no 'internet personalities'. Just talk to the actually important folks," she advised.

"Sounds like the right idea," Glynda smiled. "So, we'll use the clones to meet-and-greet and train," she said in amusement.

"Well, if you're fine being just a bit out-of-wack power-wise, nee-chan, sure," Naruto smiled. "James-ossan, which would you say is the most important?"

~NRK~

The following week was spent abusing the Shadow Clone Scroll.

Whether that was meeting a few hospitals, scientists with FAR more tact and sense on their side, or Councils, Naruto, Penny, Glynda, and any one of the Headmasters would take the parents-to-be to these meetings as support.

Like now, one day before the End-Of-Month Scores at Beacon found Naruto, Penny, Glynda, and James in a restaurant's private booth in Atlas.

Blue Crest was its name, a place at the very center of the floating city.

Seated with them was none other than Sleet and Camila, the two Council members the ones who made the meeting a 'lunch'.

"I'm glad we could get the time to talk on a lot of topics," the male Councilman said with a smile, their food mostly done. "It's serious that we can open up channels between us and you both, I'll be honest."

"We understand," Naruto said. "Still, I hope we can gain your trust without too many problems."

"No, please, the issue here isn't 'trust'," Camila admitted, confusing the Grimm man. "We do mean it when we say this is to build a rapport, it's important to do so if we're to work on these Gates."

"What's wrong?" Penny asked.

"I believe it's time to bring up 'that topic'," James said for them, nodding to his fellow inner-circle's confusion. "Naruto, the same day you came out into the public eyes was the same day Councilman Sleet & Councilwoman Camila informed me of Grimm larger than any we could have imagined," he told them as the Council members nodded.

Camila pulled down one of her sleeves and revealed a button on her watch, the Councilwoman pressing it and causing a screen to come down behind them.

It showed a familiar projection for James with a similar breakdown.

Listening to all of the information being passed surprised the welcomed trio before Naruto was holding that file.

Penny flinched while Glynda clenched her sides.

James ignored the goosebumps going up his spine as Naruto frowned.

'This thing emanates darkness even though a photo,' Ballum, Grimm who made use of powers over concepts?

Music, theater, entertainment, and imagery.

"It's likely some sort of omni-directional skill because of its imagery skills," Naruto explained. "Its abilities are dangerous, if it can get to someone through even a photo…" His eyes widened.

"W-What is it?" Penny asked, this fear confusing her even now. 'I-I've fought giants, murderers, bandits, a-and even a Spirit,' so why did this Grimm make her body ache and shiver?

"Sleet-jiji, Camila-obaa-chan, who took this photo?"

"Not a human but a robot," Sleet frowned deeply. "Why?"

Naruto looked concerned. "It doesn't make sense that this is here but it has so much power. Unless this Grimm has long-ranged abilities," he stressed as their eyes widened. "And if it does, I'm worried. From that map, those things are nearly 100 miles away from each specific kingdom but its powers can still reach us? I think it's a bad idea to have this around any settlement."

"That's…" James looked down. "If that's true, it's not some simple picture, it's a signal."

"But for what?" Camila asked nervously. "W-What in the world is it for?"

"We don't, hell, we don't know if this is even the case," Sleet looked down as Naruto closed the folder. "But Naruto has a point, we're not even looking at it but it's aura is clear."

Penny released a shuddering breath before forming a visor over her eyes and looking at it, the feeling of fear dimmed somewhat. 'W-Wait,' she reached out to the folder.

Opening it to up only for her view, her eyes widened as her Examiner Module scanned it.

And translated something?!

Green eyes shrunk at something forming along the picture's border, module burning it into her mind as she closed the folder.

She put it down and kept her peace even as Naruto looked at her while the others talked.

~NRK~

"Penny-chan," Naruto spoke as night fell, the quartet heading back to Beacon. "Penny, what happened?"

"Those pictures," Penny's hands clenched in her lap as Glynda frowned while James blinked.

"What's wrong? Did your Examiner Module pick up something?" The General asked.

"Yes, it did," she answered, alarming them. "Those pictures, they're not signals, they're spells."

The silence had their eyes going wide.

"It's likely some sort of ability from being seen, there's magic embedded into that folder, that's why it has such a powerful presence. There's something on those islands that I fear has the ability to use magic."

~NRK~

The news was spread to those who were in-the-know at midnight in the bone hotel's conference room.

"What?" Raven looked terrified. "E-Excuse me?!"

Penny's eyes narrowed as she recreated those runes on the blackboard.

Ozpin's eyes widened at the emblems being written, Naruto frowning deeply at their completed form.

And the skull-like sigil that they formed.

It glowed and released a fear-inducing effect that set all their senses on-edge.

Penny grimaced before she erased one portion, the effect all but disappearing.

"Those emblems are magically placed on every bit of imagery made of them, sight, video, or photograph," Penny told them all, her eyes on the sigil before a familiar body stood beside her. "It's reactively enchanting the sight of anyone who see them to incite more fear."

"This can't be good," Naruto frowned. "The Gates have some kind of Grimm who can use magic. Is it the Gate Grimm or-" His eyes widened. "No, i-it's like the one that hurt Jiraiya-sensei! It's not just the boss Grimm, there are more Grimm on those islands that could bring crap down on our heads."

"Shit," James remembered that conversation. "But what do we do now?" He asked the group. "We had a similar talk with the Toad Sage some years ago and we know they have answers against Aura-users… At least, one island does," he remembered.

"But the Ballum aren't new," Penny frowned, rubbing her belly for a bit. "How many of these Gates have magical Grimm?"

"It might be better to assume they all do," the general said. "I wonder if there's not even worse possibilities here," he rubbed his chin. "At present, those Gates have been living in our background," James began. "But, now, I believe that it is foolish to let them go on as they have been. We need to attack them on our terms."

"But even with Naruto's scroll and himself, that's asking for trouble," Raven explained. "Ignoring that such a gathering can NOT be ignored, that people will notice the lack of all our fighters, and the fact we don't know what the hell we're stepping into, didn't you guys just start using the scroll? You told us that it can't get out, that's not a catastrophe, that's a calamity waiting to happen if anyone catches wind of Naruto's 'mobile' moveset."

"She's got a point, the issue isn't the firepower, it's the context," Taiyang softened the blow. "Right now, ignoring that people are still going to try and pry their way into Naruto's life, we still have to take care of the kids, the submarine needs to get manned to handle that Gate, and you guys have no idea of how bad the Ballum are."

Ozpin frowned as he clasped his cane head with both hands, looking down in thought, while Leonardo hummed.

-You people are all so naive- Another voice said from a monitor.

One that wasn't as familiar as the others but still well-known.

"Do you think so, Theodore?" James asked as they looked at that screen.

-Yes, friend, I think you all are too secretive for your own good- The Vacuo Headmaster declared, his screen scratchy and blurred but his voice clear. -Instead of making this some super-secret ritual that need go unseen, you all seem to miss that all of Remnant is in danger if these Gates 'activate' or some such. You believe them cowardly enough to not want to protect their home?-

Glynda considered the idea. 'I'm sure this would rally people,' but that kind of movement could only be done on the Konoha.

The largest ship known to mankind, the most obvious vehicle in the world that'd never be allowed to dock back at Uzu once it came to light… Ah.

"I believe he has a point," she said, surprising them.

"Glynda?" James looked very surprised. "What did you come up with?"

"I think it's time to introduce a few more of the children into the fray. Notably, the one with the most versatile Semblance at the moment, Whitley Schnee."

Naruto's eyes widened as Penny grew pensive. "Right, that idea…" She didn't look taken with it now. "Is introducing the children into this going to go well?" The former android asked.

"Penny-chan," Naruto grasped her hand. "We don't need to introduce them into this, we just need to have Whitley understand… And, most likely, Weiss & Willow," he told them. "This isn't Nora, this isn't Li, this isn't even Mercury, we're talking about taking one of the world's most known children and bringing him in on secret stuff. We can't get away with that if this is to happen."

"That's…" Ozpin was horribly hesitant.

"No, he's has a point," Summer smiled sadly, gently rubbing Garnet's cheek. "Not knowing where one's child disappeared to is going to make her sick."

"But she won't be here so much, surely, that's good enough."

"Oz, Li found out on his own," Naruto reminded him. "Whitley has had these powers for only a good number of months but he's not stupid, the best-case scenario is him coming to me for answers but that's not some 50-50, we know he's been getting much closer to Weiss and that he'll go to her where, maybe, she'll bring him to me but it's Weiss."

"She'll think it's some old portion of their Semblance," Penny realized as the Grimm man nodded. "... We can't keep this as secret as we wanted."

Raven considered the idea before leaning back in her seat. "You guys have done a crazy amount of good, seriously, but you all have to realize that this isn't some simple thing anymore," she said, for the first time in a long time publicly, kindly. "Take a good look around us, Naruto made a fucking hotel out of his powers. That's not Aura, hell, that's not documented by anything besides the most powerful Grimm and even those aren't like Naruto. Penny's power is off the charts and she's just a, even not formerly, woman. Aura does a lot, it's got some serious high ceilings as we all know… But there's a point. Gods, there's a point to where no one is gonna believe that shit anymore."

That brought things into a solemn perspective.

"Even me, knowing who I am to most of the people in this room, think this isn't going to end well if we go shadow-and-dagger on this shit."

Tai's eyes softened as Summer grew pensive, even Qrow looking thoughtful.

"How long do you guys think this can go on?" He asked. "Rae's got not just a point, she's right, we're not dealing with normal Grimm anymore. Hell, we don't even know if someone didn't do something they shouldn't. Next up? You guys remember that Kali got a magic power-up, right?"

"I need to talk to her about that," Penny considered the idea before nodding. "In fact, I think I need to talk to all the Belladonna about that."

"Penny?" Ozpin looked pale.

"Kali's not a fool, she's very much aware that this isn't 'Aura' anymore, I think she deserves to know."

"But her family?"

"Master Ozpin, you've lived a long, arduous, life. You've seen many a scenario happen time and time and time again," she smiled sadly. "But this has never happened," he flinched. "Not once throughout all your lives has this been a possibility. Great Spirits, magic-returning, magical Grimm?" Naruto looked sheepish. "And I don't just mean Naruto. This situation has to be brought under control before we lose not just territory, land, and people but TRUST, hope, and any chance for us to introduce them into this properly."

Ozpin took in a long pained breath. "... Can you ensure this won't fall on our heads?" He asked somberly.

"We will," Naruto smiled as Penny reciprocated. "Old man, you've had to protect the world for a long time and I think it's time for you to be able to trust in the newest generation to do the same," he grinned, Ozpin's mind flashing back to many of Naruto's memories.

Of that grinning young man who brought forth hopes, dreams, and promises.

"We're not gonna let this get out of control, that's not going to help any of us, and we want to protect everyone, even you," Naruto smiled. "I also think it's time that widen at least some of the kids' ideas."

"That could be cool, it's not like me, Nora, and Merc can't help," Sun grinned.

"He's right," Mercury nodded as Vernal shrugged. "And it won't even be just them, anyway. Mr. Polendina, Ms. Goodwitch, Vernal, Qrow?" He reminded them. "They won't be the only ones at the 'ground floor', hell they're even past that with our 'normal' training but we can't miss the chance to get them ready when they're the most open."

"They're right, besides, it's magic," Nora grinned as Penny giggled and Naruto laughed. "Who wouldn't want that?!"

Faced with the optimism of a child, Ozpin's shoulders slumped as he wore a sardonic smile.

"I suppose so, Young Nora."

"Yuppers!"

~NRK~

That's why they planned it out and came to a simple conclusion.

Whitley smiled beside his sisters and mother, the only person missing of the Schnee Family being the CEO, himself.

Across from them in their teaching attire were Naruto, Penny, Mercury, & Nora, the two families seated on a pair of couches within the first two's bedroom.

"I have to assume this will be serious," Willow observed as Penny nodded. "Oh, Penny, how are you?" She smiled.

The mother-to-be beamed with red cheeks. "W-Well, nothing crazy yet but it's oddly noticeable," Penny admitted as the children looked on in awe.

"I believe the stork came," Whitley smiled as Willow wore a motherly at his innocence, Weiss's nodding agreement, and Winter's embarrassed wide eyes.

"S-Stork?" She asked him.

"Yes, mother said that a frozen fowl brought us to the family," the boy grinned as Mercury snorted before grinning like an idiot.

"Yes, she says it's very painful of a delivery," Weiss agreed. "After all, Atlas has rigid Winter winds and high altitudes, it must make a harrowing journey."

"Like you wouldn't believe, Weiss," Willow smiled as Nora giggled. "Like you wouldn't believe. Now, let's speak on such things later, your teachers wanted to talk about something."

"We do!" Nora cheered. "It's a super good one, too!"

"Oh, Nora knows? It must be curious," Whitley said. "Oh, does this have to do with my tutelage?"

"Well, yeah, but it's not just your tutelage," Naruto explained. "Right now, you all are little wonders that never cease and I'm trying to make sure you all have proper learning and power as you grow up but there's not always a proper amount of time."

"Sadly," Willow said with as much of a smile. "Like what happened last week, there's no telling what comes next."

"It's not wrong to say that it's 'exactly' like that," Penny began sheepishly. "But that's not always an urgent danger."

"Ms. Polendina?" Winter looked confused, the rest of her family as well. "What do you mean?"

Naruto closed his eyes with a smile. "Whatever we say here, Winter, Weiss, Willow, Whitley, needs to be heard with an open mind and a willingness to believe a little… A good bit," he began as he lifted his axe.

The blue gem on it glowed before water swirled through the air and formed a familiar figure who landed beside them.

Nora allowed her hands to activate her enhancement while Mercury's feet unleashed a series of swirling fire & wind foxes.

Penny wore a hopeful smile as her hair lit up with lightning, the redhead raising her hand. "Tonitruum."

It sparked to life before forming a swirl of electricity.

Weiss Schnee observed that power ball of power with a sort of fate-granted sense to know.

This would change her life.

"You see," Naruto smiled sheepishly as that familiar Water Guardian kneeled beside the confused family. "Guys? We don't have Aura, we have Magic."

Willow blinked many a time, eyes going between them in confusion before her eyes went to the Water Guardians, something building at the back of her mind.

"What?" Whitley blinked.

"Yeppers, um, Aura is not what we gots, Whits," Nora told him. "We've got what it used to be, though!" She grinned as her hands raised and electricity crackled.

It surged around her, down the floor, and then rose up before the surprised Schnee boy, that tiny electricity-based sloth waving at him.

Whitley Schnee was not a dumb boy, far from it, and he had enough wit about him to know when something was wrong.

That's why, when he saw it, he rubbed the back of his head before pulling up his right sleeve. "S-So, you know about this?" Whitley asked as his arm revealed itself.

And showed an intricate design that seemingly came down from his shoulder and formed an odd mark on his forearm.

It glowed blue before something projected out of it… A map.

"I-I don't know what this is," Whitley admitted bashfully. "I got this two months ago but I wasn't sure what happened so I thought that maybe I'd train it," he tapped a side of it.

And that 'location' gained a familiar snowflake mark before he pulled out something impossible.

"I can mark something and pull it to me from anywhere I've been."

The whole room looked at him in disbelief, Water Guardian included.

"S-So, this isn't Aura, I had a feeling but I couldn't be looked at like I was weird," the boy admitted.

"Whitley, I think you're a truly smart kid and that you did the right thing by waiting," Naruto began, regaining his composure. "Willow, you're now seeing that we're not lying," he admitted.

"S-Surely this is just related to you, energy-wise, Naruto. Magic existing makes no sense-" Willow tried to deny it.

And then Whitley blushed as pulled out some Vacuo-based soap… A special soap.

One from a Vacuan resort from last year.

"..." Willow looked faint.

"W-Wait, so, Whitley has magic?" Weiss asked in disbelief as Winter remained frozen.

"Yes, he does," Penny said as they dropped their power sans Naruto.

"This is a spirit guardian from below the island," the Grimm man admitted. "You guys wondered what was down there, right? Well, it's not something human, it's a magical being who's been on this earth for over 5000 years. A Great Water Spirit," Naruto admitted as his chest glowed a soft brown. "And before you say anything, Earth Spirit, come out."

"Here I am," came the familiar, to the Uzumaki side, voice distorted by this little bit of 'transmission' like with the Water Guardian. "So, you guys are another bunch of humans who are learning this stuff?" The horseshoe crab spirit said.

Winter flopped against the couch, unconscious, as Whitley's eyes grew wide with wonder, Weiss's jaw dropped, and Willow… Well…

"Get it away from me!" She shrieked.

The next second, the grown woman was behind the couch with wide panicked eyes, a waterfall of sweat, and a tilting spirit transmission in her wake.

The Uzumaki family sweatdropped.

"Um, I-I'm not a bad guy," the Earth Spirit said.

"Away, foul creature!" Willow squeaked, giant boars forming beside her in defense.

"W-Wait, Willow, please!" Naruto began to sweat at what might happen. "He's a good guy, don't destroy this room!"

"M-Mother, please, be patient!" Weiss snapped out of her shock to try and help.

But that hilariously terrified woman already formed three more summons, three knights, who held shotguns.

Yes, that was not a joke, those were shotguns alright.

"Mother did say you could customize the weapon," Whitley murmured.

Weiss's eyebrow trembled something fierce.

~NRK Out~

~Omake~

The move from the display to large number of bony housing was downright mystical.

Especially when Naruto demonstrated his ridiculous abilities by using some of their hair.

"How… Does this work?" Velvet asked with a disbelieving eye at glistening water coming out of a floating bone ball, her hands feeling the cleanest they'd ever been. "T-This isn't how reality works!"

"Hehe, yeah," Naruto said sheepishly. "It just comes with my territory," he explained like that EXPLAINED ANYTHING!

"Um, what?" Ruby's head tilted atop his shoulders as a man was brought in from the sky via Naruto Familiar. "H-Hey, dad… What in the world is going on?" She barely greeted Tai before her eyes went to Naruto in disbelief. "N-Naruto!"

"Listen, it's just how I am, alright?" He responded. "Hey, uh, Tai-man," Naruto shot the frozen blonde father some finger guns.

"Who are you? Why is my daughter so chill? Wasn't this city overrun thirty minutes ago? Where's that water coming from?" Tai asked blankly.

"Um… Magic," Naruto said 'truthfully'.

"I don't believe you."

"Yeah, that's probably a hard-sell."

"Hey, old man!" Yang greeted as she left one house, looking utterly refreshed with her clean clothes on. "This is so wicked!" She cheered as Penny left the same home.

"Ah, welcome, Taiyang," the redhead greeted.

"Um, do I know you?" Tai asked. "Hi, honey-bear, what's happening?"

Yang grinned like the most mischievous cat.

"YOU'RE A WHAT?!" Taiyang shouted in a bone conference room, jaw dropped, as the others gathered. "E-Excuse me, did you tell me Xiao-Rose is your middle-middle name?"

"I didn't think those were a thing," Jaune said. "But it makes sense."

"No it doesn't," Weiss said flatly.

"Let me go back for a second, you two are from a different, super-powered, dimension with ultra Grimm that made you all crazy powerful and my second-named last but oldest child?" Taiyang asked.

"Yep," Naruto smiled.

"... Okay," the blonde man whispered in shock, drinking some of that offered coffee. "Okay, so… Yeah, I uh," he didn't look prepared. "Look, how many kids did you have?"

"That's an ice-breaker?" Qrow asked with a snort.

"It is for fathers, I'll have you know."

"Well, with Merc, Nora, Emerald, Ed, Boruto, Revy, and Kibo, we're at seven," Naruto recounted with a smile even as Tai looked shocked and awed.

"Damn, we've almost got the same numbers, that's crazy," Jaune said in disbelief.

"Yeah, except he doesn't have 7 daughters," Ruby snickered as he grinned nervously.

"Thankfully, such a curse will never be redone."

"HEY!"

Yang smiled. "Hey, let's see… Nora, Merc, and Emerald we know so that means they had, uh, four kids normally?" She asked.

"No, erm, Ed is also adopted," Penny admitted sheepishly. "I mean, he was the last adoptee we had before our orphanages grew stable."

"Yeah, that tracks."

"That's a wonderful thing," Pyrrha smiled. "Still, did people of your own truly accept you so easily?"

"Nope, it took years of work to even get me 'presentable'," Naruto said. "I did a bunch of good will stuff before being introduced worldwide. A good amount of people liked me because I was just so weird and my broadcast got some warm reactions. Following that, we did a lot more to help Remnant such as finding new tech, defeating the Black & Demon Gates."

"Wait, Demon Gates?" Sun asked, tail lifting his mug. "Sick name, probably a shitty place, what are they?"

"How to explain those ones," Penny didn't look happy thinking about it. "For lack of a better word, Demon Gates are what we considered the highest level of Black Gate. The naming convention is for good reason."

"Let's explain something first," Naruto began seriously. "If you've ever wondered about Grimm and why they're the shapes they are, it's because of the human conscious. At least, most Grimm are formed by those negative thoughts."

"Dreams, nightmares, trauma, pain, Grimm can be birthed from all of these concepts. They take the things humans fear most and make that their forms because, well, it's what we fear."

"S-So, wait," Neptune looked nervous. "And you called it a Demon Gate b-because-"

The married pair nodded. "Because those were Demon Grimm," they said in unison.

"You need to understand that there are, unfortunately, incredibly old Grimm out there," Penny frowned as a visor formed in front of her right eye as a metallic object left her hair in liquid-thin strands before forming a small orb that spat out a projection.

"Okay, so, many things to ask about the-" Qrow said flatly.

And then they saw the 'Grimm'.

Jaws dropped as others flinched at the feeling coming off of that half-'melted' skeletal being with thick fleshy muscles visible from many sides, large curling horns atop its half-skull, and the inky darkness composing half of its face save for a single red 'star' hiding within.

"W-W-What the fuck is that?" Sun asked, tail ramrod straight, eyes dilated, and body tense. "T-The FUCK is that?!"

"Haa, a Demon-Class Grimm," Penny answered. "We remodeled our classification system because of this one beast who could easily bring down an entire Academy on its own. This is the 'Skull', they have two other forms depending on their environment and their abilities rely on the management of hellish music."

"S-Sounds tough," Neptune said even if he was shaking in his boots. "I-It doesn't sound so bad, a-actually."

"In the beginning, no, they're not," Naruto told them with a frown. "The problem is that they grow with notoriety and can amass Grimm to use endless numbers as attacks by coordinating them or just making them pop," he snapped his fingers. "Like that."

The projection switched to a recorded view.

It showed a veritable ocean of Grimm that trampled over a confusing bit of land and earth.

Yet, those odd structures were ignored as they stared at the Grimm horde either moving in odd formations, waves of squadrons, or exploding.

It was like hell on Remnant as they saw how many could be coordinated like bee swarms.

And yet those events were equalized by the following waves of monsoons, pink lightning, and arcing waves of distorting power.

Naruto, Nora, and Glynda appeared in view wearing uniform scarves before they attacked.

Powerful gusts and telekinetic power spun together at the Goodwitch pair's call, spiraling symbols forming around their raised-together hands.

And then they swung it forward.

The destruction alone was as horrifying as the number of Grimm.

The 'attack' carved into their numbers like the Brothers' Grace, it was an explosive 'axe' of energy that destroyed them before leaving a large hissing trough in the ground.

"What the hell?!" Glynda looked alarmed as she shot up. "My power isn't so… I-It's not that grand."

"... Oh," Naruto blinked as it set in. "I think you guys might need to talk with us about something 'different'," he said. "In fact, now would be a good time. Can all the older-than-21 adults in the room follow our clones?"

He formed his before Penny formed her own, the group looking alarmed as their specified members got up in confusion.

"This will take some time," the Penny clone smiled kindly at them.

Following the copies while the real ones spoke with the kids, they traveled towards another room before going inside.

Seated all over this oddly-furnished room, the clones just came out and said it.

"So, I can give people back magic," the Naruto clone said outright.

There was silence before they all jumped, sputtered, and gawked.

"Let us explain," Penny's clone said.

They went through the first explanation of his beginnings and how that made him a life-like magic-giving Grimm.

They spoke on his growing strength over the years and how things had gotten to the point where magic became something they shared.

By the time they got to their Beacon-held special classes, the group was shocked by their story.

"T-That's incredible!" Glynda said while James was shocked and awed.

"Wait, so, we can all get broom-wielding powers?" Qrow asked.

"Is… Is that what you got from all of that?" Naruto sweatdropped.

"I'm processing, dammit, you just hit us with a big life-changing ability after already doing it over and over again."

The Grimm man looked sheepish.

"So, what does this mean for us?" James asked. "Naruto, you've done us a great service but where does this leave us?"

"Well," Penny looked sheepish. "We went to see if we couldn't do something bigger before we left."

"Yeah, we already sent a pair of clones Salem's way," Naruto grinned as the whole group's faces went blank. "Figured, well, might want to give her place a 'makeover' since we're not gonna be around for too long."

Salem the Witch's eyes trembled in fear at the sight of the world outside her castle.

The eruptions of wind and lightning, claws of storms, swords of thunder, and tornadoes of electrified hurricanes that tore-apart her lands, her base of operations, on such a grand scale it felt like her breath had left her.

Those two figures floating in the air and releasing those magical spells looked down at her castle before their hands came up towards one another and clasped.

The sky was filled with an impossible light she couldn't defend against.

"Time to give you a 'going away' present," that new singular figure declared as those extensions coming out of their back flexed.

The entire sky split, reddened hues breaking apart with seemingly ease.

They peered down at her.

"Eternal tempest, infinite rumble," the words, the chant, left Salem's mind cold and frozen. "Aspect of light."

A ball of white formed.

"Aspect of lightning."

A crackling orb formed.

"Embodiment of darkness."

A black sphere formed.

"Expansion of the soul," a large array formed behind them. "Throughout all the heavens, we are the most honored, the avatar of power who unleashes their strength in the face of grand darkness," the array slotted-in the orbs. "Unification Magic: Supreme Spell-"

The world erupted.

"Mugen Tengoku."

James blinked at a call coming through from Atlas?

"Hello?" He answered.

-J-James, some form of madness is coming off of the far-off waters!- Jacques Schnee said over the Scroll.

James's eyes went to Naruto who shot him a grin, the general's mouth cracking a smirk.

"Tell me, Jacques, what's happening?"
