Simon should have catched onto it at first. The weird loud banging noises. Saying they were there when in truth they weren't there at all.
Pressing one's ear against the door-
"Can you state your name please?"
"Simon Seville." Simon stated and adjusted his glasses.
"Alright, where were you last night?" The officer asked.
"I was with my brother Theodore and my adoptive dad Dave." Simon recalled.
Yes, they were in the attic.
"And?" The officer asked.
"And Eleanor and Jeanette were in the kitchen making popcorn because we were about to watch a movie." Simon explained.
"Alvin and Brittany were sleeping."
He should have seen it coming.
"We know the rest." The officer said.
Simon sighed.
"I just can't believe they would do that."
Well sue Alvin can be a bit of a menace of sorts but to run away was something that Simon could never imagine he and Brittany would do. Even Brittany wouldn't be as crazy as to also run away.
Heh?
"Dave, I found this."
It was a small stick. But the thing was that it was a pregnancy test. What was that thing doing in here?
"Oh no."
Simon stared at Dave in fear.
"Oh.. maybe."
