Spectre: Trying to stay alive here! New update coming up and we're picking right where we left off. Just spent my time collecting TF figures and another one is coming soon.
Longing Resider: Well, I got an idea as to how would they interact. And I'll be honest, Lugnut and Blitzwing originally weren't supposed to be here; their role would have been given to Blackout. But I watched Animated and saw these two that I gotta get them into the Nemesis. And yes, Airachnid's in progress in trying to build Trust with them, but Arcee isn't too convincing.
gwb620: Don't worry, I manage to find a loophole at that.
Hellcat1115: Sure is! Hope you update your Star Wars fic real soon!
Chapter 12: First Day, Part 1
"YOU FRAGGING SCRAPLET!", without a second thought, Arcee quickly pulled Jack away from Airachnid's hold and pulled him right behind her, frantically inspecting him for any marks that the former Decepticon might have inflicted on the teen. "What did you do to him?!", she angrily shouted at her.
Airachnid gave a mocking scoff at her. "You're being overdramatic, Arcee", she waved her off, which served to only set the bluenette off even further. "He and I were having a tender chat together till you were rude enough to interrupt"
Arcee's anger only flared up at the former Decepticon's snide tone. "Enough to make sure you won't lay a hand on him once I through with you!", she hatefully replied, ready to forego any restraint if it meant to shut Airachnid's mouth for a long time. But before she could, she felt her wrist being held in a frim grip by her partner, clearly agitated and alarmed of her choice of action.
"Wait! Calm down, Arcee!", he hurriedly said to her, causing the former two-wheeler to stop at her tracks. "This isn't what it looks like!"
His partner's fury maintained at that, however. And Airachnid's smirk only widened as she traced her finger her cheek in a feigned bashful reaction at watching the show before her. Jack only hoped that the purplette don't do anything stupid that could add gasoline to the growing bonfire that is Arcee. "Look, if you give me the time to explain, I can promise you that this isn't what you think it is and that she didn't do anything to me!"
He had to make up the last part because he'd rather not have blood covering Arcee's fists once they got out of the room.
But then Airachnid just had to resist keeping her mouth shut. "You seemed tense, Arcee. Has becoming a fleshling made you even more glitched than ever? I wouldn't for Jack's sake", she snidely asked her.
A sinister grin then widened on Arcee's face as she forcibly let herself go from Jack's grip. "Yeah, and I'd feel great once everyone gets to see your busted face!", without warning, Arcee charged ahead and pinned Airachnid against the wall, using both her hands to restrain her archenemy. The former Decepticon only glared in return as if it were only a mere convenience at being held down by the former two-wheeler like a lifeless Protoform while feeling her hard and firm grip on her through her frame.
However, a pair of hands came to separate the two, or at least attempted to but his efforts turn out nothing more to be feeble. "Woah! Easy there, Arcee!", Jack exclaimed as he tried to separate the two. "We don't have to get any trouble for this!
The bluenette maintained her glare at the former Decepticon, not budging one bit. "Best if you listen to reason this time, Arcee", Airachnid suggested to the former two-wheeler, maintaining her calm and mocking demeanor towards her. "Or are you crosswired enough not to?"
"What makes you think I'd listen to you?", Arcee scornfully retorted, maintaining her firm grip at the former Decepticon.
"You won't", Airachnid simply said, but she then glanced over at her partner, smiling at him. "But to him on the other hand..."
Arcee looked over at Jack, breathing in and out to calm down from the adrenaline rush from earlier. "She's right, Arcee", he hastily confirmed to her, to the bluenette's disbelief. "I just brought over what she needed at the base and just talked to one another. Nothing serious, really!"
She then looked over at Airachnid, who was pleased of his honesty. "Idle chatter, seeing if it is possible to build trust between us", she looked over at the teen between them, chuckling as if she were in an afterglow state. "And I have to admit, Jack is quite the smooth talker himself"
Arcee felt like she wanted to vomit after hearing that, and her face did little to hide the utter disgust of that comment. "And a little trust wouldn't hurt when your leader does have between us", she continued in a sing-song tone.
"I'd sooner join the All Spark than ever trusting you", her archenemy hotly chided at her.
"Oh really? Then do me a favor and jump over a bridge already"
"Okay, that's enough you two!", Jack finally mustered up whatever courage that remained in him as he stepped in to intervene. "I know both of you had a story to tell, but I'm not letting anything happen to either of you once someone starts throwing punches"
The bluenette looked at him, flabbergasted at this move. "Are you serious, Jack?!", Arcee exclaimed to him, pointing a finger from a free hand at their prisoner in disgust. "After all she had done to you and I?!"
Airachnid couldn't help but smirk at the former two-wheeler's assumption. "I must say, he listens to reason unlike someone I know"
"That's not what I meant! Arcee, I don't want you to get into trouble once Optimus knows what happened here", he carefully explained to her, before he turned his attention to the former Decepticon, sighing in exhaustion from the stress that had built up from within. "And Airachnid, you're on thin ice right now, and trying to pick fights in here wouldn't be the brightest move especially once Agent Fowler and Optimus knew about it"
She looked convinced at his statement. "I wasn't intending to at all given the way you act to someone who'd you rather have away from you", Airachnid assured him, pleased of the outcome. "And since you were pleasant enough all this time, I'll take your word for it"
Jack then placed a hand over Arcee's shoulder, his eyes drooped down as he continued his effort in dissuading his partner from doing anything rash. "Nothing happened between us", his voice then became firm and pleading. "If there is, I won't let it happen. I promise"
Hearing those words caused Arcee to pause; he had a valid point but looking at Airachnid's smirk was very tempting for her to wipe it off from the face of the Earth, but what good would that give her? Optimus wouldn't have approved of what she was about to do, no matter how much Airachnid deserved it. Because if she does, wouldn't that be a win for Airachnid as well? By giving into her antics, would she find any joy of seeing her break down into something else that never wanted?
The former two-wheeler took a glance at Jack, hoping for her to make another call than the one she has fully intended to do. And Arcee did what she thought was logical.
She let go of Airachnid, who merely patted off the dust that came on her clothes.
Jack's face brightened at her call, and her patted her at the back to help her calm down as he made distance between her and Airachnid before he turned to the former Decepticon, sighing. "It was nice talking to you, but we have to go.", he hastily said to the woman while slowly guiding Arcee towards the door.
"Of course you do...", Airachnid then stepped back to allow the teen to exit her room, but not before her lips crept into a smirk that the teen swore it was predatory. "I look forward to talk to you again, Jack", she then glanced over at Arcee, snidely smiling at her partner. "You know where to find me if you need company"
Briskly and quickly, Arcee pulled away Jack and exited the room and quickly closed the door behind them all the while the former Decepticon let out a giggle of mischief.
If she couldn't end their lives for the meantime, then she would enjoy throwing them off the rails every now and then.
Once they were outside, they were greeted by Raf and Miko who were waiting for them, neither of them having the feeling to say anything upon seeing Arcee's visible distress and anger of whatever happened inside. She rubbed her temples, narrowing her eyes at her partner of his latest stunt. "Jack. What. The frag were you thinking on heading over there?!", she angrily exclaimed to him to the point where she was almost yelling at him, which even caused Ratchet, Wheeljack and Bulkhead to even look up to see what was going on. "Do you have any idea what she would do to you if I hadn't come over?!"
Seeing where this is going, Raf got in between them in order to help them cool off. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Arcee", the prodigy advised her, somewhat nervously. "At least hear out Jack first before we jump into any conclusion?"
"Raf's got a point", Miko agreed with him, putting both hands on her waist. "But I would've like to see who gets to throw the first punch if that went further than that"
Swallowing hard, Jack then looked at her to speak, "Look Arcee, if I asked you to bring needed essentials over to her, could you even predict what she'd do to you?" He tried to reason with her, making a weak attempt at a point.
"I'd probably think on what Arcee would do to her instead", Raf commented, something that Jack thankfully thought off. "But I don't think she'd be doing anything resembling a threat as long as she's in the base, at least for now"
"Threats or not, she's still have to deal with Bulk and the rest if she's gonna do something stupid", Miko then pointed out, before they felt the need to change the subject. "But still, how did it go with Spidey inside?"
Jack rubbed the back of his head, unsure what to say. "Feels like anything inside could kill me at any moment", he uttered, something that resulted of his bicep being poked by Arcee's elbow, telling him not to do that again.
Miko appeared to understand his predicament. "I go with that feeling. Surprised that she hasn't set it up into something that came from Jigsaw's imagination"
"Just don't give her any ideas, Miko", Raf quickly said to her, not wanting to imagine the base being her house of horrors from what they had told him about the former Decepticon. But the boy felt they need a change of pace so he thought of another subject when he turned to Arcee. "So, what did Optimus tell you outside?"
By this time, Arcee's anger had subsided. Mostly. And she pinched her forehead in a bid to calm down from earlier. "He and I talked. Just the usual, except he gave me a new mission"
The three kids were immediately curious of the older woman, and they moved in a bit closer to hear what she knew. "Ooooh! What kind of mission?", of course, Miko had to be the first one ask that.
Arcee took a moment to breath out her remaining anger. "Since Bee, Bulkhead and Wheeljack can't exactly watch over you at all times especially when they're on a mission, it's gonna be my job to keep an eye on you three at school until Ratchet and Que could change me back", she explained to them, earning a trio of surprised looks of elation.
"You mean, you're coming with us at school?!", Miko was the first to ask, which Arcee affirmed with a nod that only increased the girl's excitement tenfold. "That's awesome! There's a lot of stuff we can do while we're at it!"
Raf looked excited as well, but then became a bit hesitant when he thought it over for a moment. "But how are we gonna get you in Memorial since...", he then gestured at her. "You know...off planet origin?"
"Optimus told me that he and Fowler are already working on the details of my human identity for paperwork so I could get inside", she continued to explain to them, before she turned to Jack. "And...he already talked with June about it"
Jack looked a bit surprised at that but then deadpanned. "Something tells me that Mom had anything to do with it", he commented but then looked down.
"Is there something wrong, Jack?", the bluenette asked her partner, appearing reluctant to speak following her announcement to them.
"No, nothing really", he quickly assured her with a wave of his hand. "But...is it okay with you?"
She crossed her arms on her chest. "I'd say it's a lot better than sitting around and wait for something to happen", she replied, finding solace at least that she wouldn't be watching over Airachnid. "You okay with that?"
Jack forced himself to be through with her and smiled. "Yeah, I'm all right with that"
Two Days Later...
"Arcee! We're gonna go in five minutes! You're all set?"
From the second floor in Jack's room, Arcee adjusted the collar of her shirt before she fastened the belt of her pants as she heard June's voice from the kitchen. "I'll be right over!", she called back, making final adjustments to her hair by evening the bangs framing her face while taking a final look in the mirror.
Her attire was quite simple, a baby blue collared t-shirt, jeans and a pair of sneakers. Strapped on her back is a gray backpack that Jack used to bring over at school when he was younger along with needed materials. For someone who had fought a war for so long, she had forgotten how mundane educational life was like; her time in the field had lasted longer than her terms in the Academy.
But still, at least being a guardian to all three of them while in school gave her something to do than have Airachnid push her buttons if she decided to simply stay at the base. Although the possibility of her having to interact with other humans is right up in the air, and she had to be very careful in what she is going to say. Other than that, Jack was rather skeptical of the idea of her being in school with them, but he wouldn't tell her as to why though.
It's not that he was against the whole idea of Arcee watching over the three of them. In fact, he seemed to be all right with it. Does it look a bit awkward? Or just out of place for him? Either way, she wasn't complaining by any means.
Seeing her look to be sufficient enough, Arcee grabbed the gray backpack lying on the bed and went down the stairs, finding Jack and June waiting for her at the living room, both bearing fascinated faces at the way she looked with the clothes they got her. "Do I look weird on my frame?", she asked, bewildered to the surprise of the two of them.
"Of course not! You look astounding!", June hastily corrected her, taking note as to how well-built her frame is. "Even better than I was when I was your age"
Arcee took it to stride and turned to her partner, trying her luck on his point of view. "Jack?"
Jack couldn't help but gulp at the sight of her. The simplicity of her outfit along with her frame just made her look so...mesmerizing. "Y-you look really good", he stuttered. "I think suits you perfectly", he further commented, even though her overall appearance made it a bit out of place if she's going to attend school full of teenagers that she could've been mistaken to be a gym teacher.
Not to mention, she looked old enough to be in college as a senior, or at least a sophomore at best. With a cock of his head to the side, Jack motioned her to follow them into June's Sedan, not after the doors were locked before they sped towards Memorial High.
Seated from the back, Arcee blankly looked at the window during their trek, still registering the idea of her blending in with other humans as part of her mission from Optimus even though it was never her style to begin with. If she is going to count on their word, then the ideal day would likely have a similar regime back at the Academy, though more on the educational aspect of the program rather than training for combat, which is something she didn't necessarily have the disadvantage off, but could be challenging from time to time.
"Nervous?", a male voice snapped her away from her thoughts as she looked at Jack looking right at her from the front seat.
"Hmph, hardly", she replied with a confident smirk. "Shouldn't be that complicated as long as I don't reveal too much of who I am"
"Agent Fowler and Optimus did put a lot of time in figuring out your background, so it's best if you remember it but of course you don't have to explain it completely if someones gonna ask", June then spoke up from the front, giving her a friendly reminder after they had practiced the night before.
Arcee took a moment to remember her human identity and fictional background, which is easier to explain than her actual details.
Sadie Rosemary Smith. Born in the United States, finished her primary education at California, worked at odd jobs to make a living during her early teenage before she signed up for a GED program at Forts Welker and McCullen, with her service only ended recently in order to complete her high school education at Jasper, Nevada here at Memorial High. "Yeah, I do"
The Sedan skidded to a stop, with its two occupants looking out of their windows to find that they're already at Memorial High, with students arriving in droves for the new day ahead of them. From there, Jack and Arcee watched as Raf and Miko were already waiting for them outside, with the girl waving at them to know they were here. "Well, have fun you two! I have a night shift, so you two will either take the bus or have the Bots drive you home", June reminded them.
"We'll be fine, Mom! We'll give you call if something happens to us", Jack replied as he exited the Sedan's front seat, with Arcee following suit as she grabbed her backpack.
"Keep an eye on them, Arcee", June then spoke up to the bluenette, bearing confidence that she would be able to. "Okay?"
Arcee smiled at the gesture shown to her. "I will, June", she replied before the matriarch departed towards the Hospital. The pair walked over towards their friends, with Miko raising her arms to gesture the building in front of them.
"Welcome to Memorial High!", Miko proclaimed to the bluenette gesturing at the establishment. "Where you'd be sleeping the whole day or stay up all night doing homework!"
Arcee gazed upon the building right in front of her, feeling dwarfed at the sheer size compared to her old form. "It's pretty busy in here", she commented, watching as numerous students enter the premises. "Just have to be careful not to stick out among the group"
"Well, if you're going to not stick out among the other kids, you're gonna have to at least give a solid impression that'll make them remember", Miko then spoke up. "That way, you'll probably be classified based on attitude"
"Isn't that just an unofficial hierarchy?" The bluenette raised an eyebrow at that. "And how am I suppose to do that?", she asked.
Miko grinned, putting herself between Jack and Raf. "Here, pretend that you don't know the three of us", she instructed her. "Try saying a few things in greeting and a few remarks"
Arcee paused for a moment, now feeling a bit stupid as to how they were doing this. With a smile and a wave of her hand, she greeted the three kids in front of her, "How you do, fellow kids?", she greeted them in a forced pleasant manner.
A twitch appear from her brow when Miko bursted out laughing while Raf looked like he was struggling to keep himself from doing so, as did Jack. "Okay, maybe we could work on that later. We could start the day to have a talk with the Principal since you're technically a new kid in school"
She wasn't going to complain about that, and the four of them went inside where they began their trek along with the hallways where the entrances of numerous, classrooms, offices and lockers were all visible to her. But she could feel more than a few stares darting at her as she walked along the hallways with her charges. Some looked curious, some were amazed, some were...envious? She didn't know why but the had better things to think about right now.
"Did Cybertron have schools too?", Raf suddenly asked as they headed over to the Principal's office and Arcee shifted her attention to him. "I haven't really gotten to ask the others about it until now"
"More than a few depending on what you're interested in or at least where you're specialized at", she could recall as far as her mind could take her. "As for me, I've attended Cybertron Military Academy as a Scout just before the war started"
The three of them looked fascinated at that. "Something tells me you were the cream of the crop in class", Miko quipped in awe.
"Not exactly", Arcee gave a chuckle at the comment "I could think off a few names who did better than I have, but that's a story for another day"
The four of them continued their walk towards the Principal's office, stopping at the entrance. "You'll have to do most of the talking since you're the 'new kid'", Raf advised her. "We'll be there for you until you're done since class wouldn't really start in thirty minutes"
"I'm sure you could handle it", Jack then spoke up, providing support for the bluenette. "A talk with the Principal isn't as challenging as fighting the Cons"
Arcee smiled at their support and took a moment to breathe in and out. With a knock from her closed hand, she waited until she heard an audible 'Come in'. Opening the door and entering the office, Arcee found herself staring at an adult male likely older than Fowler sitting on a chair with his hands rested on his desk. He was balding, and had a thin beard reaching his chin and a pair of reading glasses. He looked up to find the three familiar faces with her and recognized them from the get-go.
"Ah Jack, Raf and Miko", he greeted the three kids as they stood before him. "Anything I can do for you?"
"Morning, Principal Connors! We brought over a friend who just got transferred", Miko gestured over to Arcee, who stepped forward to face the Principal before his desk. "She's a transferee and she just needed some verification before she would be able to go to class"
The older man observed the bluenette before him, finding it peculiar. "It seems we also have a new face since I have not seen you anywhere in Jasper", Mr. Connors commented. "What is your name, young lady?"
Arcee took a glance at her charges, earning a trip of encouraging nods for her to go on before she looked back at the older man. "Sadie Rosemary Smith", she introduced herself to him, "And I'm a transfer from..."
She glanced at them to find them encouragingly nodding at her to keep going.
"Fort Welker", she then passed over the papers given to her by Agent Fowler the day before. Before she knew it, she could feel the sweat dripping down her forehead as she dreaded the possibility that her cover would be blown.
"Aren't you a little old to be in high school?", he then asked her with a quirked eyebrow.
She exhaled exasperatedly. "Yes, yes I am", she replied in a self aware tone. "I've spent a few years in GED before leaving to just finish high school as a civilian, so here I am"
Thankfully, the man was rather convinced of her explanation, appearing enlightened at that even. "Ah, that explains the delays", he remarked "Memorial High will be thrilled to have an aspiring inspirations, perhaps you could even show a trick or two to the young bloods around here. But first you will need to be familiar with the premises"
Internally, Arcee breathed out a sigh of relief as she thanked Primus of the rather crude deception as Mr. Connors signed a few forms for her while her three charges smiled at her progress. "This are your classes for the year and a rule book detailing our guidelines for further reference. And I hope you would enjoy your stay here at Memorial High, but not before being familiar with the premises"
He then glanced over at the other side of the office to look for his assistant, where a teenager, about the age of sixteen was sorting out documents on one of the drawers. She has brown hair reaching the nape of her neck, brown eyes and wore a red white collared shirt and white pants. She went on over next to Mr. Connors where he gestured her towards the bluenette in question. "Miss Thi Dang, will you please give Miss Smith a brief tour around the school premises before class?", the Principal requested the younger girl. "I wouldn't exactly want her to get lost"
Again she looked at her charges, encouraging her to accept the proposition made by the Principal. "We'll meet you back at Class, so don't you worry", Jack assured her.
The girl offered her hand to the newcomer, bearing a smile and an eagerness to be friends with her. "Just call me Alexis", the girl further introduced herself to the older woman, motioning her hand to come with her. "Come on! I'll show you around the school"
After they were dismissed, they then headed over to their lockers to retrieve the books they need for the upcoming periods while Arcee went with Alexis. "So, you think she'd like it here?", Raf asked them as they walked over to their classroom.
"I think she'll get along with most just fine", Miko confidently assured him. "Till she meets Vince that is"
"I don't think that would be an issue", it was Jack's turn to speak up as he closed his locker. "But I wouldn't say anything good would come out of it. Come on, I wouldn't want miss Mr. du Villon's class"
Miko picked up the books she had and was poised to make her way to class, until she found herself colliding with a fellow student walking in the opposite direction as her. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!", Miko quickly tended to the girl. She had red hair, a dark complexion, and light blue eyes. She wore a zipline long sleeved yellow and orange shirt with a white shirt underneath, and a pair of jeans and sneakers. "Are you all right?"
The redhead rubbed her head from the collision, regaining her bearings. "I'm all right...", she replied, until she gained a clear view of the person in front of her. "Wait...Miko?"
Miko's eyes widened at the familiarity of the voice. "Sari?", she called out her name, wanting to be sure. "Is that you?"
They stared to one another for a moment, and then squealed in delight as they both grasp their hands and shaking them. "It is you! It's been a long time since we've last met!", Miko exclaimed to her. "Is your dad with you?"
"Dad is back at Chicago for work", the girl replied. "Luckily, I managed to convince him to let me study here at Jasper for a breath of fresh air from the city!"
"Awesome! Now we've got a lot of catching up to do!", Miko replied, clearly elated but then remembered her two other friends with her. "Guys, this is Sari Sumdac, I met her when she and her dad visited Japan. And Sari, meet Jack and Raf! These two got my back ever since!"
The redhead more or less elated. "Suh-weet!", she offered her hand to the two boys, with Raf going first and then Jack where she enthusiastically shook them. "I've always wanted to meet some of Miko's friends!"
Jack then glanced over at Raf. "Something tells me there's something up that we don't know yet", he commented at the two girls in front of them.
Raf only adjusted his glasses at that. "You don't have to tell me twice"
Omake: Why testing should always be outdoors:
"Scouting mission complete, no Cons and no Energon from the coordinates Ratchet gave us", Bulkhead grumbled as they drove their way deeper into the base.
"Look on the bright side, Bulk. I get to have some time to do a little bit of data gathering", the white Wrecker then looked over at his partner as soon as they transformed back into their robot forms. "I snuck into Que's workshop at one of the hangars, and color me short-circuited to find his holoplayer containing blueprints"
Bulkhead looked interested at that. "Any clue what he's planning to make?"
"A specialized trailer for the big boss, weapons ranging from polearms, buzzclaws and even extra firepower for both bot and vehicle forms", an excited smirk appeared on Wheeljack's faceplates at the possibilities as he punched his palm with his fist. "Just what we need to give the Cons a show or two"
The Wreckers entered the premises, finding Bumblebee playing video games by himself since the kids and Arcee are at school today and Que working on something in the table where he looked up to find the two of them. "Ah! Jackie! Bulkhead!", the inventor greeted them as he continued to work onto his latest creation. "I see you've returned from patrol. Optimus and Ratchet are already returning from a scouting mission of their own shortly"
"Sup, Prof!", Wheeljack greeted back his colleague, watching as the inventor is making the finishing touches of his new creation. "New tech?"
"Yes! This!" Que proclaimed at two rocket-like components on his servos, raising his arm up as if he had been blessed by Primus himself. "I call them, Turboshock Boosters!"
The devices were rockets in shape, had yellow outlines and a pair of thrusters behind them, but nothing too impressive in terms of appearance. "So, what does it do?", Wheeljack inquired, taking a closer look of the device.
"That's a good question, Jackie!", the inventor complimented him. "With this equipped, any Bot won't have any problem in catching up to Cons in break neck speed! A feature that I've installed also allows the bot equipped to rise up in the skies! That way, those Cons up the air wouldn't be so cocky once their wings got clipped off!"
Bulkhead and Wheeljack were impressed at the concept, analyzing the newly created tech. "Gotta say, this is a plus", the green Wrecker commented "Since we don't have anything resembling air support unless we're counting Fowler"
Bee then walked over them and looked fascinated at the invention where he gave out a few beeps to the inventor in excitement. "You'd like to test it yourself, Bee?", Que asked the Scout, though he was reluctant in his tone "Well, I still have to do double-checking and modifications to see if it's stable enough for combat. But since I can't figure it out until we could have a trial run, we could start here"
Bulkhead wasn't so eager to see it himself first. "Que, I don't think it's a good idea to test it inside the base", he cautioned them.
"It'll take a nano-click, and if something goes wrong, we'll just catch him and manually turn off the boosters if things went to scrap!", Wheeljack assured him; he wanted to see how it goes.
Bumblebee eagerly nodded at Que, who then proceeded to install and augment the boosters behind the Scout's back in short notice. "I have a bad feeling about this...", the larger Wrecker uttered
"Ah, lighten up Bulkhead", Wheeljack lightly slammed the larger Wrecker's chassis in a friendly manner. "It's just a test. Besides, how bad can it be?"
Two Minutes later...
"FRAG! Bulkhead! Catch him! He's flying over there!"
"What're you think I'm trying to do, Jackie?!", the green Wrecker irritably yelled back as Wheeljack held onto Bumblebee by his leg, who was colliding in each and every corner of the base's interior while damaging numerous equipment in the process. "Que! Does this have a manual switch off?! I can't find it!"
"It does have!", the inventor tried to catch the flying scout as much as he could. "I haven't finished the remote shut down sequence! You'll have to get me at close to Bee so I could manually shut it down!
Before Que could say anymore, he felt himself being lifted by Bulkhead and, grabbed by his chassis, thrown towards the Scout like a projectile. Thankfully, Wheeljack's weight had lowered the overall speed of the boosters and Que managing to catch Bee by his chassis, managing to slow him down. Opening the hatch of the boosters, Que forced a manual shutdown by cutting down a few wires, and they all fell to the ground, defeated.
Bulkhead hurried over them. "Are you all okay?", he asked them, watching the extent of the damage inside the base.
"We're fine, Bulk", Wheeljack replied, while Bee let out a small beep to confirm his status. Then he looked over at the base's less than pristine condition. "You think Doc wouldn't be too mad about what happened here?"
Que looked over at the extent of the damage, luckily the relic wasn't among that wasn't damaged. "As long as as he doesn't find out, we'd be fine if we-"
THUD!
The four of them looked over the source of the sound. Ratchet's optics rolled over and he had went to forced Stasis Lock upon seeing the damage done inside the base while Optimus stood next to him. Bulkhead, Que, and Wheeljack looked a one another with widened optics, now having to deal with a new problem.
"I'm sure he won't remember by the time he's off Stasis Lock by the time I manage to fix everything", Que lamely assured them. "Hopefully"
Bumblebee raised his servo to ask a question , only for the Boosters to come back to life. With a screeching beep, he jettisoned onto a wall in front of him, before he went upwards at the ceiling, prompting the two Wreckers and the inventor to try and catch their unfortunate comrade.
At her office space, Airachnid merely continued to sip her coffee in peace while reading a book while the Scout's unfortunate predicament continued to wreak havoc inside the base.
'I should've known it's only a matter of time until they would do nonsense like that', she thought with a roll of her eye before shifting her attention back to the novel she had been reading, finding interest in the plot made by the fleshling author. 'So the man is finally driven to lunacy by paranormal forces of the building he is in', intrigued, she continued to read the novel made by an author named S.E King called 'The Shining'. This should be interesting.
Another day, another update. Just gonna have to rest for the meantime. Anyways, like it? Hate it? Leave a review and let me know what you think!
