Chapter V
The fight and hospital
The next day Anakin got up and went to see the Chancellor. The Chancellor showed him the underground tunnels. "What are these?" Anakin asked. "These are the Sith passageways." The other replied. "You are Darth Sidious." Anakin said. Then he turned around and left. He arrived to Mace Windu who was in charge of the Jedi Temple when Yoda was gone. Anakin opened his mouth and said, "The Chancellor is Sidious." Mace Windu said, "I'll take a few Jedi and find out." Anakin said, "What about me?" Mace Windu replied, "If what you tell me is correct then I will trust you fully until then stay here." Mace selected three other Jedi and the four of them rushed into the Chancellor's private office. Mace Windu took the lead. "Chancellor in the name of the Republic I arrest you." The Sith replied, "How convenient. Unfortunately I refuse." During that time he pulled a lightsaber into his hands and lights it. It was red the color of a Sith's lightsaber. The five began to fight. At the Jedi temple Anakin is seeing disaster run through his mind. The Chancellor might be too strong for the Jedi. He therefore takes a ship and goes towards the palace. Darth Sidious has killed three of the four Jedi that came to arrest him. He then begins to fight Mace Windu. The latter uses his form VII and manages to knock the lightsaber out of his adversary's hand. The Sith throws electricity but Mace Windu pushes it back with one hand while deflating with his lightsaber the most he can. The Sith's face is distorted beyond recognition and he stops throwing electricity and Mace Windu lifts his lightsaber. Just then Anakin comes in and says, "No! It's against the Jedi Code to kill him." Mace answers, "Think Anakin. He controls the senate the judges and the jury. He cannot be allowed to live." Anakin steps forward while Mace Windu begins his lightsaber downward descent. Anakin then blocks the blow and Mace asks, "What are you doing." The Sith begins to throw electricity again and Anakin points his lightsaber down towards Darth Sidious chest. Then he brings it down. While he does this the Chancellor Force pushes Mace Windu out of the window. Then he turns his eyes in horror at Anakin and simply says, "I thought you would join me." Anakin shook his head in a negative sign. "I am a true Jedi." Then a huge explosion happens throwing Anakin back to hit his head hard against the wall. Just then Obi-Wan (who had felt danger in store for Anakin) came in the room. "He's here." The Master Jedi said. Two clones picked Anakin up and put him on their elbows. Obi-Wan then decided to tell the only one that Anakin wanted next to him. Padmé was shocked and it wasn't long before Obi-Wan had to put her into a ship and bring her to the hospital as well.
