Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Halo. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Halo; Microsoft and a few others do.

Spartan IVs… The newest batch of supersoldiers had been rolled out of R&D to try and make up for the UNSC's losses during the last horrid war which had been ravaging the galaxy around them. Whatever they had been through before now was a little bump in the lake.

One of these fireteams was fireteam Osiris. A fire team of 5 skilled soldiers from different walks of the UNSC.

James Locke, an ONI black ops agent who had been the leader of this close-knit little team. He chuckled at the few times he had been brought back as a shadowy assassin and hitman for the UNSC…. Never worked with a team of UNSC supersoldiers. He looked over the dossiers for whom would comprise the band.

Edward Buck, a former ODST and one of the best marines in the entire military, a mentor and one-man army with a penchant for being capable of pulling off the impossible.

Holly Tanaka, former army engineer, and survivor of countless covenant attacks, a woman who was as resourceful as she was determined to seem to want to survive it all.

Olympia Vale. A former scientist and intelligence officer for the UNSC who had been one of the experts on both technology for the Forerunners and a skilled warrior who understood their enemy.

The fourth and final member of this group had made him ask Captain Lasky about it when it came down to it.

Oliver Bleiz. A former UNSC Air Force soldier who had a penchant for being cool under fire and someone who could contend with some of the more elite pilots in the galaxy. He was no less dangerous on the ground, but he hadn't much field experience on said ground missions… Something he hoped would learn the ropes for this… It had been something that needed to be done for now either way and couldn't at all be handled properly. Whatever this had been before now? This had been interesting for him.

Locke still knew there was more to this mission than there had been before. Whatever came next would be one for the books… And man would it be cool for them to deal with that before all of this was said and done. It had been oh so curious for now, oh so much of an odd team.

Yet the Spartan knew they needed to mix up the team. The war effort wouldn't be easy and he needed as many skilled soldiers doing their part as possible.

Plus? There was the fact that Blue Team was busy meant their mission was just as important as theirs would be for the time being… Yet? Is anything coming up soon? They'd need to be ready for whatever came next and he knew more than that the UNSC would be on deck.

"Worried they're not going to be up to snuff?" He heard as he turned to look at Buck who had slowly walked up to him. "There will be a lot worse things to do… Spartans aren't going to deal with this easy and by the time that's all dealt with? The mission is still going to need to be dealt with." Buck added before he crossed his arms.

"There's going to need to be more if we're going to get this done. If we don't? Doctor Halsey is going to remain on there was all done and dusted." Locke stated before he seemed to question what to do next.

He had been a lot more to handle for now. The mission would be done and dusted, yet it'd be oddly more for now. He had to put an end to this either way for now… Yet it would be a while before he was able to properly deal with the problem.

He had more to deal with this, a lot more to do at the end of the day. There was going to be more to this thing, it was all to be done and dusted… It needed to end before the day was decided for him.

He needed to wait for his soldiers either way. The idea was going to be before it seemed to be a lot more curious before it seemed to spread sooner or later.

Phew. The first chapter is done! The next chapter will be in 2-10 months before the update and it will be 900-6500 words and will show more of Osiris heading off to the battlefield and more about their mission for now. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
