Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Halo. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I do not own Halo; Microsoft and a few others do.

Vale and the three others all sat in the cabin of the D-79-TC Pelican as it slowly floated toward the UNSC Infinity.

She looked and recognized at least for now. It helped that she knew about their profiles before anything had happened, for now, unsure of what to say, what to do for now with such info.

She looked around, clearly thrown off. Holly Tanaka who was busy clutching her helmet under her arm stood next to her. She looked bored, even a little more amused when this came down to it.

"You're tired, aren't you?" Vale asked to which she got a shrug.

"Tired of how long it is to get us where we need to go." She heard as she looked around. "Locke wanted us here by now and yet he's not here to see it." Vale heard as she turned to another Spartan.

"Oliver Bleiz, former Lieutenant of the 7th Raven Corps," Vale stated to which he hummed, unsure of whom she was capable of. If anything was done and dusted.

Oliver was silent, he chuckled as of the second. This was not going to be something odd at the time. He looked at Vale and then Locke. He did not know what to focus on for now. He questioned what else before now. There was a lot more upon his mind. He did not know what to say.

"Well, this was one big family meeting," Oliver stated before he clicked his fingers, looking at Locke. "Sir," Oliver added to which this came down to it.

Oliver looked at the two other Spartans looked at each other. There was a lot more to say and do. He questioned what to handle for now. He focused more on the others as he looked upwards at the hanger ceiling.

Locke slowly started to walk towards the edge of the hanger with them following him. He questioned the second as a pelican landed on the hanger as he questioned what to happen for now. It was such a fun little thing, something odd for now. They had business to attend to.

There was a lot of business to attend to as of now. This was not going to be a wild show that none of them were at all ready for… None of them wanted this, none of them wanted to have owned this.

They all wanted to live in safety and all this did was throw them down the well into the unknown, into the crippling dark where it all seeped into the cracks. They all had something else to have done.

It all ended sooner or later. Sooner or later? This would all come crashing down with enough effort to crater it all. It would all be over sometime soon or later currently.

He did not at all know what to do next. He had prepared for the time being. He was honestly too honestly focused while he shook his head.

They had more and more to have focused upon which he seemed to have gotten around, for now, something more than what he was used to, something beyond his control and understanding.

The Spartans all looked around the room to which he seemed to have amused himself. Spartans were something else, a class of their own for the time being.

They had not yet seemed to have prepared to have ended while he had not yet prepared to get it over for now. Vale looked over the other Spartans who were all too interested in projects she did not at all seem to grasp for now and it was amusing as now.

Vale was interested in what needed to be done and all their problems were to be answered sooner or later. This is not going to be odder as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, an idea that just did not at all seem to hold much promise as of now.

This would not end anytime soon, not when it was easily dealt with as he hummed, ready to see it crumble into the end. Whatever horrors awaited them at the end of the road?

This was not it; they had a lot more to see and do as he hummed, clicking his tongue once more. They had a lot more to deal with, something that was not easily done away with, NOT when it came down to it as he hummed once more.

Vale was amused by them more than anything as of now. it needed to be completely fixed and all of them slowly yet surely needed to be fixated upon for now. Vale looked up and into the sky, before she crossed her arms and then looked around the hanger as she tried and failed to understand them.

"So, are we going to try a therapy circle?" Buck joked as the others all shared smirks at one another with interest.

"Do not know, they are going to be something to drink here or not? Because I am not interested if no." Vale heard before she tried to think of another word to say.

It was as they passed dozens of marines and other soldiers that it became more and more obvious people still were not used to Spartans in general. All of it was so damn odd for now and it did not seem like it would change for now at the end of the day.

They had a lot more to try and focus upon the time being when it was all said and done before he wondered and pondered what to try to focus upon certain issues at the end of the day existed.

It was clear more and more would grow at the end of the time when it was all said and done. He had a lot more of a problem. There was a lot more to try and focus upon something else.

There was a lot more on the quartet of their mind. They were too much of a tiresome group to grow more and more exhausted at the end of the time.

"So, aren't we just a great little circle of friends?" Buck asked as Oliver looked at them, tired and amused by it all over and over.

"Well, we've killed a lot of people and been all over the galaxy," Oliver stated before he clicked his armored fingers against one another more and more focused upon such certain issues.

He had a lot more to try and focus on now and it seemed to be a lot more amused than anything, something that rarely if ever seemed to end the way it was told and amused at the end of the day, both could relax upon knowing the completion of such things.

All these paths seemed to close more and more with each second. It was a lot more horrid, something that could and would ground them all down to dust when it was all over.

Vale did not at all know them at the end of the day, there was a moment of amusement between them, reminding them all that something had grown far beyond their control. A group of soldiers from each group could and would continue to be harder and harder to figure it all out now.

Well? Vale liked a challenge; it made things better when they were all figured out. Something that could and would grow within them like a curse.

"Mission today, a big one. We are going to kill a lot of Covenant, rescue Dr. Halsey, and maybe save a planet or two." Buck said as Oliver turned to look over at the soldier with a hum as he did so.

"You mean the same one that betrayed the UNSC and joined with the enemy to try and backstab," Oliver said before he sighed with annoyance.

"Hey, no pointing fingers… We've all backstabbed bad people." Buck said as the others chuckled. "But yes, the one who joined the Covenant who is currently getting its ass kicked down there is the one we must save. Now, I know some of us here might WANT to shoot her, but we have a strict 'not cool' rule." He said before he looked down.

"I thought you were the strict guy, not the comedian," Oliver said as he got a shrug.

"I can be both, you know. Very easy to do when you are the only funny one here." Buck said before he looked downwards.

"Some of us like being paid for our jobs rather than this, Buck." He heard to which he shrugged.

"There's a lot harder crap to deal with than this, you know, a lot more than you think," Buck said as Oliver shrugged.

"To be fair, I'm paid to kill bad people, not to question how to deal with smartasses." Oliver joked as he looked downwards at the ground.

The two men shared a joke, there was no lost amusement between them now again and again and again for now. They had a very large percentage of time and effort spent on the line when push came to shove, they had a lot more to deal with as he cracked his fingers once more and hummed to himself.

Oliver was always going to be in the moment, he clicked his jaw once more, looking upwards as he seemed to try and understand what he was unable to ensure as he clicked his fingers once more.

He had a lot more to deal with once more, he had a lot more to deal with once more, and she had a lot more to try and figure everything out for now… Odd a lot more to try before looked seemed almost secure in what needed to try and figure once more as he seemed to look downwards.

Oliver simply seemed to try and understand what else was going to happen… All their measures on the mind were going to bother him.

It would not work the way that could be properly dealt with more and more now, she would not at all when it came as she looked downwards.

"There is a lot of things we need to deal with, you know, a lot of it seems to keep being due to us not knowing one another… So, I will start, I am Olympia Vale of ONI. Former navy and one of the first recruits for this team." Vale said as Oliver turned to look at her.

"Oliver, former UNSC Air Force… I suppose you already read my file considering you manage to relax when push comes to shove?" Oliver asked before crossing his arms as he seemed to fall silent, utterly thrown off by it all at the end of the day.

She knew a lot of things were going to end again and again now as she fell silent for now, knowing what would be dealt with for now, unsure of it all… Relaxing for now, it would not easily be relaxed.

She paused to look around the room, unsure of what needed to be dealt with for now… She would continue to try and take it less seriously, unsure of it all for now. She was going to need to relax for now.

They had a LOT of options to try and deal with for now… Perhaps it would ALL need to fall into place… This would not end well, not even for a second… It would be done in waves and droves.

This was not going to be a moment of reflection for them anyway as they had to keep going, looking downwards at the ground.

How best could it be relaxed for now? They had a mission to do anyway and the more that he could be relaxed for now… It was going to be impossibly dealt with for now, they had a lot more to see and do next before now.

She paused before she looked downwards at the ground, cracking her fingers, and slowly blinking, unsure of herself for now as she paused, humming to herself.

"Do we need to figure something, out when it comes down to it at the end?" Oliver asked before he paused to keep thinking, too tired for now.

He sighed, too fascinated by what needed to occur next. It would not help, not at all, there was a lot more to their little game than before, too interested in what was to go for now. Oliver hummed for now and then relaxed for now and then paused to let it all come for now, wanting to keep growing and growing for now, wanting it all to end.

There was too much to try and deal with for now and then relaxed for now and then seemed to be utterly for now, too ended now, too consumed for now too relaxed.

The soldier was too interested, too relaxed, too enjoyable for now, wanting to keep cutting through it like butter, all too interested in it for now… Not wanting it to be dealt with again and again…

There was blood to be done with for now and it did not mean much for now but it would eventually when all was said and done now and so on for now.

"What happens when we get underway, sir? There are a lot of things we still need to get over, the more we cut down. The more we are going to find down the way." He stated to which the others nodded.

She was not stupid, not at all, she would know what the next maneuver for it to deal with it. He had a lot more interest in it, a lot more of a desire to have acted with it for now, something about it for now.

She was not stupid when it came to trying to read their files. They were soldiers, she cut them down as best as they popped up… Even at the end of the day? She would not bow to seeing it all come for now.

Vale kept herself silent, too thrown off for now, too unwilling to see it all come and fall apart, she would act for now, too much would be left to the imagination. Even if she did not act? She would be letting it all fall to pieces at the end of the day and that was that for now when all of it was covered for that end whatever it entailed.

Such was life… Such was all she had hoped for at the end of the day, there was a lot more to try and deal with it for now as she paused to try and deal with for now as she was able to try and deal with for now… There was a LOT more to have to deal with it for now.

She had been unable to have to deal with it for now. She had been too distracted as of the moment… There were a lot more chaotic moments to have to deal with for now… Even then? The chaos made her want to do much if anything at the time being.

The trio all looked around. It was too much, too much for her to be dealing with for now… There was just too much to have to deal with for now and for good reason… Perhaps it was something good.

Even then? The pain he felt was too much to have to deal with for the moment and was going to be impossible to deal with properly… Even then? It was too much for her at the end of the day.

He had not been able to try and deal with it. He paused to try and deal with it for now as he clicked his fingers before he seemed to try and deal with it.

He had not been able to try and deal with it lest he fell all to pieces… Oliver seemed to be dealt with for now as he sighed, letting it all fall to pieces.

To be fair? Even a soldier like him had to relax, to let it all fall to pieces… Even he could not question what Vale was trying to deal with for now as he paused to let it all sink in, for once. He did not know what was growing on his mind before long.

He hummed, wanting it all over now and for good reason. He would not let it die and would never let it all end sooner or later.

The very idea it meant something was odder and odder to him either blasted way now. He would not let it die now, not when he was close, not when he could allow it to have been the very thing he could have beaten.

There were a lot of things before he relaxed once again and he would be done with it for now as he seemed to be dealt with it as he clicked it all into place before he seemed to think of it at the end of the day.

Oliver sighed, too interested in what was going on before now, an idea that needed to be stopped but could not be dealt with for the moment.

There was a lot more to try and figure it all out. It was harder and harder to figure out sooner or later, it would be harder and impossible to try and figure something out.

He clicked it into place, knowing what would be needed for now… That and that was enough to have meant something for now.

She would only relent when she knew how it ended. Everything else? There would be no answer, nothing that could and would continue to figure it all out at the end of the day, this and that would be little more than stepping stones forward for not at the end of the day.

He had been better off dead than anything else and it showed all over the place.
