A secret long lost

With zelda unable to unlock her power , fear looms over hyrule as the time slowly comes for the awakening of the calamity . But there are things that no one knows about link , the wielder of the master sword , and those secrets might just save their lives

4. Assassin

Father is as usual reprimanding me for wasting my time while i barely hold myself back from arguing against him .

I sigh , making sure that he doesnt see my face otherwise he'd be able to guess what im thinking and id be reprimanded even more .

"Zelda , how many times have i told you , stop wasting your time . The calamity will soon be arriving and you must hurry and unlick your powers as soon as possible . The fate of hyrule rests upon you ." Blah blah blah .

The same as usual . I just zone out for a while so i dont habe listen to father's lecture .

I feel as if i lose braincells everytime i listen to his lectures .

I keep my head down and only look up to him when he says , " Your mother would have been dissapointed in you . " He pauses for a second , having realized what he just said and a look of horror comes over his face . " I'm sorry Zelda , i didnt mean it like that " i try desperately to hold back my tears and with the most okay look i can manage , i say ," No problem father . Im sorry , ill try harder . " He says nothing in return and i barely manage to stop myself from running out in anger and finding link so that i can vent to him .

Someone hurriedly runs into the sanctum and both father and I look at him .

Father looks at the knight and says , " Why have you come here knight lancelot . Has something happened . " Knight lancelot raises his head and with a look of urgency he reports , " Sire , 15 guardians have been found destroyed . They were reported missing in the morning and they were just found destroyed , dropped in the castle moat " Both father and i stand still and with a slight tremble in his voice , probably due to his anger , he asks , " Has the perpetrator been found ? " With a squeamish voice , knight lancelot says , " No sire , but we did find a resident who reported that he had seen a young man with his face covered up walk into one of the guraduan storage areas late at night wielding a sword . Thats all we have found up to now . " Father sighs and says with the greatest fury imaginable , " Find that man at once "

Knight lancelot and father leave , leaving me behind in the sanctum with only one thought , " Who could have the power to kill so many guardians ? "
