CH. 5

After a long tired depressed and boring day of being on the day job, Nick is about to clock out from work. Yes, like all the animals, the best thing about getting a job is clocking out of shift and heading home.

"Home. My favorite word in the world's dictionary." Nick said when typing in his personal clock in/out code on the screen and then pressing the out button.

Once leaving the Clock In/Out area station and getting onto the elevator, Nick sighed in tiredness. He had a boring depressing workload and dealing with his boss on top of that, and just wanted to go home in peace. Going home is a safe haven for Nick. Home is where he can unwind and rest his mind from the hard day's work. His regular life is not your 'Outstanding' living to say the least since usually from back in the day, he would be out and bout in his superhero persona after clocking out from work for the day and just being himself. But in the current time, he is in his every ordinary day of just being Nick.

"Hello, you." Nic talk to his family's car before digging into his pants to pull out the key. "At least one of us has a much better occupation. Unlike myself."

During the beginning moments of the hero outlaw era, Nick had given Finnick his Foxmobile for safekeeping during the first relocation for himself, Judy, and baby Violet. Of course, Finnick said yes and hid the head of its time vehicle in a storage facility under lock and key. Of course, that was 15 years ago from 2012, so what are the odds that Finnick had kept up with the rental payments to keep the car in storage?. Anyways, currently, Nick is riding in a 2007 Toyota Yaris hatchback as not only for work but also for the family's official car. They had to get this used car based on the leftover money they had left, to Nick's misery. Luckily for Kara who owns a Firestone franchise, had hooked her family up by giving their used car the full work on everything for free of charge.

Kara told them that it was the least that she could do since it was bad enough for her to learn that her baby brother and sister-in-law had purchased that used 2007 Toyota Yaris from Goodwill of all places. That was embarrassing enough as is to be seriously honest. Upon getting on the road and taking his usual quick route, Nick had found himself in deep deep pain in the ass heavy traffic. Yes, sir, he is stuck in afternoon traffic.

"Damn, Damn, Damn." Nick sighs in frustration when sitting in the long ass line. "Why does it have to be me of all animals?."

Nick had his radio going as it was on random not interesting commercials as the radio station returned live and started playing, 'Party All The Time', by Eddie Murphy. It made Nick remember this song back in the day when he and Judy were dating. He remembered this song when Judy played in her apartment to lighten up the mood. That was the night when the two had taken off their masks and revealed their secret identities. It was not Nick's idea. It was Judy's idea since this was the only way they could hang together.

Nick's hero alter ego persona does not reveal his true sexuality. Which means that Nick's 'Mr. Fox' makes everyone believe that he is a straight fox who is into women in his species. This sparks a lot of publicity and gives the 'Normal Animals' to have their heads up with proud fulness. Now, for Judy on the other hand, her hero alter ego persona hugely shows her sexuality compared to her true self. Judy's ElastiBunny is a strong well-known icon for the Interspecies community and in the Global Interspecies Organization aka GIO. In fact, Judy revealed her sexuality on the talk show when the host asked her alter ego if there was a lucky male bunny in her life. Every animal of the Interspecies community praised, respected, defended, and just loved Judy when she came out of the closet.

Nick wanted to drift into memory lane but the constant horn beeping of cars from the front of the line to the back of the line. Nick sighed in irritated frustration with the matching facial expression.

"Man, I hate traffic." Nick honked his horn and then rolled the window down, and then put his head out. "Will ya move it along here!?. I wanna go home here!."

"Same here!." said someone in front of Nick.

Back home with Judy and the children, Judy is currently in the medium kitchen making tonight's meal for her beloved family. Not just any ordinary meal. A celebration meal. It made Judy smile greatly as she was so darn happy to be living in a permanent home and returning to Zooptopia, let alone returning to her original police station. Currently, Judy is deshelling the last few pieces of shrimp inside a big of filled with cold water inside the sink. Next, she grabbed the right-size bowl drainer to pour both the water and shrimp shells out before gathering the peeled shrimp back in.

"This is going to be the best family celebrated dinner ever!." Judy started checking her warm deep pot of alfredo sauce to taste to see if it needed more seasoning. "Just a bit more of fresh wild parsley."

"Man, I lost again!."

Judy's ears picked up the sound from her son and took the moment to go check to see what is the cause of the issue. She made her way into the living room to find both her beloved hybrid children on the couch with their hands on the Xbox One X controllers. Judy looked at the screen of the fifty-inch flatscreen tv and saw that two were playing WWE 2K. As usual, her kids were playing in a steel cage Wrestlemaina match with them playing their favorite signature WWE Superstars. Dash playing with LA Knight. Violet playing with the great late Bray Wyatt.

(A/N): Rest in Peace, Bray Wyatt. Still can not believe that you are gone. Feels so unreal and untrue. See you down the road to heaven 'Eater of Worlds'. Sorry everyone, I just have to pay a tribute to this man. He was my favorite wrestler since 2013. The day that I saw him debut on tv, he had my full attention and became huge fan. You all can look him of you want. Not going to make you guys. I just wanted to show respect and keep his memory alive. Back to the story.

"Man, I stay losing against you, Vi." said Dash, changing a different character.

Violet playfully smirks with her nose up. "Hey, I am a huge pro when it comes to playing Bray Wyatt. Man, I love his final theme song. It had meaning behind it."

Judy shook her head and resumed cooking her pasta. "Kids and their love for professional wrestling."

After checking the food before leaving it to be in the current process of cooking, Judy went to go do other things. Like polishing her badge and removing the lint off her uniform for a surprise inspection before going to get things ready for tomorrow for her family. Yes, it is true, regardless of her being a full-time police officer, Judy is a full-time stay-at-home mom too. How?. Due to being too excellent in the fieldwork, Judy is not so excellent in filing her paperwork compared to her police partner. As such, Chief Bogo had assigned Judy to a remote position to help her do her paperwork. Unfortunately, Judy did keep her end of the deal and today she has herself promoted from a temporary remote position to a permanent remote position. Oh, how much is she is going to hate to hear Nick rubbed in her face, since she basically a girl scout at this point in her line of work.

Minus the selling cookies and whatnot of course. Either way she is not complaining. As a matter of fact, if Judy being honest with herself, she wanted to be a stay-at-home wife/mother and just let Nick bring home the bread. But even she knows better that her husband's salary is piss poor.

"Kiss that desired dream goodbye." Judy spit-shined her badge before polishing it again. "Oh, how I would love to stay at home and attend to my garden more."

Judy finished up what she was doing before heading back to the kitchen to continue her cooking while waiting for her husband to arrive from work. She stretched her arm out to reach the spoon that was away from the stove and was near the sink and went to stir the pasta. Nick, who was making his way down the street, was glad that he was finally out of traffic as he could not stand it any longer. Oh, it felt like hours on the conjoined street for Nick with no idea if he was ever going to see the exit entrance. Sighing in slight happiness when pulling up to the driveway of his house, Nick parked the car beside his wife's police SUV before exiting out.

"Wow!." Nick caught himself from falling down. He looked down and saw Violet's scooter and sighed. "I do not know how many times have I told that little girl about putting her scooter in the garage."

Nick put the scooter on the porch where the camera could watch it and prevent anyone from taking it. Sure, he could have just taken the scooter and put it in the garage, but he wanted his little girl to learn responsibility and do it herself. Upon doing the task he then returned to close his car door. And like a goof, he did not watch his strength as he had accidentally slammed the car door inward and bent while causing the window to fully crack and then shatter into pieces. His old car, 'The Foxmobile', can sustain his incredible strength.

"Oh, you have got to be freaking kidding me!?. Grrrrr!." Nick let his little temper get the best of him as he picked the whole car up and was about to slam it down.

Only to be stopped by a beautiful tomboy antelope who was on her bike, stopped dead when seeing what her neighbor was currently doing in amazement. Nick paused in his movement. He had that shocked look on his face. The tomboy antelope's name is Jennifer. One of Dash's classmates and only friend. She tilted her while still having that shocked look on her face. To prevent anyone from seeing him holding up the car, Nick quickly and quietly set it back down to its original spot. Nick and Jennifer stayed looking at one another and did not say a word for a brief moment.

"Don't snitch." Nick said nicely with a plea.

"My Mom and Dad told me that snitching will give you stitches. Your secret is safe with me, Mr. Wilde." Jennifer pulled her bike back before getting ready to pedal forward. "Tell Dash that I said hi. Have a good evening, Mr. Wilde."

Nick sighed while watching her ride off. "Yeah, same to you too as well, Jennifer."

Nick sighed as he grabbed his briefcase and went to head inside to rest and unwind from the outside world. It is worth knowing that the neighborhood that Nick and Judy had moved their family into is a strong loving territory community of Interspecies. Meaning that it is discrimination and hate crime-free, since they want their kids to be safe and not be bullied by anyone for being hybrids. The Interspecies neighbors were very welcoming to the Wildes when they moved in. One by one they visit their home and give them a welcome to the neighborhood gifts, making them feel part of the neighborhood. The whole neighborhood itself was constructed by the mayor to not only make Zooptopia a nondiscrimination place to live, but also help increase her approval ratings up a notch for next Election Day.

Upon entering in while closing and locking the door behind him, Nick made his way in while removing his tie and buttoning the top of his dress shirt.

"Hi, Daddy!." Violet spoke cheerfully as best she could since her birth depression is affecting her sound of joy.

"Hi, Dad." Dash spoke while still having his eyes on the screen.

"Hey, kiddo." Nick answered to his son before walking by. "How is school?."

"Nothing to report." Violet and Dash said together at once, knowing that they both are lying.

"Well, alright then." Nick heads his way to find Judy.

He found his way into the kitchen to find his beautiful bunny in front of the stove while standing on the metal bar stool. Currently watching her stir that big pot while listening to her humming a catchy tune. Mostly, Nick is looking at his wife's sexy gorgeous thicc ass. During before and after the 15-year period, Judy has been chowing down hard on a variety of pastries treats, and sweets in general, such as chocolates, cakes, cookies, pies, donuts, milkshakes, and of course ice cream. Yes, Judy has been through an extreme combination of emotional, stressful, and anxious whirlwind during her allegation investigation.

Dealing with the constant lies on tv and newspapers of animals going against her. Defending off against the lies of photoshop pictures of her doing something so inappropriate towards minors. During those times, Judy has been consuming comfort relief junk food sweets. From carrot cakes to a bucket of ice cream. The funny thing about it is that all that fattening went right through her thighs and hips. Now, Nick should have stopped Judy from doing this but, being a typical man. Being a horny typical male fox to be added, Nick did not mind having his wife gain a good amount of junk in her trunk. No one can blame him for wanting Judy to have a nice fat cake. He had the nonstop opportunity to have his paws squeezing her bunny buns or slapping them just to get an erection.

Shoot, every male animal is extremely jealous of Nick for having a wife with wonderful buttocks when every time they see Judy walk past them while giving them the glorious opportunity to watch her backside and see her wonderful gorgeous ass swinging left and right. Heck, even the lesbian animals hate and are jealous of Nick, as they wish that their girlfriends or wives had that nice big round fat sexy thicc booty. For Judy being a woman bunny and being born from Bunnyburrow, she sure has an amazing piece of ass. Guess, you can say that this is a reason why bunnies are the signature symbol of PlayBoy and anything related to pornography.

"Hey, carrot buns." Nick came up and gave Judy a good slap on her hips. Smirking. "Looking good."

Judy slightly jumped up when she felt the slap on her right rear cheek. "Ah, Nick!." Judy chuckled while looking at her husband while stirring. "You are in a good mood today."

"Well, kinda." Nick looked at Judy while she cooks. "Seeing you and the kids is worth slaving away for the Man."

"Jokes on you, Nick, but I take pleasure in working for the Man." Judy argues back with a victory smirk.

"And, you just ended a good thing for me." Nick walked out despite Judy calling him back in plea. "Typical cop pig."

"Oh, haha, Nick." Judy rolled her eyes and focused on her cooking. "Now, I know where my kids get that negative hate towards The Man and cops. Haters. Just haters."

*Hours Later*

The evening has finally become night with a full moon as the family have all sat down at the medium-sized dinner table. Judy had turned on the dinner room's music player and played a very classic smooth soothing jazz instrumental version of the great legend Louis Armstrong's 'La vie en rose'. Compared to her daughter Violet, Judy's music tastes are old school jazz, Michael Jackson, Prince, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Outkast, John Legend, R-Kelly, Kiss, and Beyonce to name a few. While Violet is into artists like, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Drake, Jay Cole, User, and DJ Khaled. Like Mother, Like Daughter, as the old saying goes.

All four sat in their usual signature seats. Judy sat on the other end of the table on the left, while Nick sat on the other end of the table on the right. Violet sat on the left side and Dash sat on the right side. After saying grace the four started passing the food around and began eating the delicious dinner that Judy had slaved over. Nick was eating while looking over on his tablet and reading his subscription digital newspaper of Zooptopia's all-news newspaper. Nick is all focused on today's digital news and halfway focused on listening to his wife's boring story of her day on duty. Even Violet and Dash are bored silly when hearing there used to be a girl scout mother's boring cop story. They wish that their mom was a dirty cop sometimes. They rather have a lowdown police mom than have a by-the-book police mom.

"So, I told those young scamps down in the alleyway that you need a certification or a permission slip to graffiti a wall." Judy picked up enough salad that her folk could pick before resumed talking. "I told them that it does not matter if they are spray painting an artwork of Dr. Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. I gave them a fair warning and gave the only age-appropriate adult a ticket fine."

"Mom, you are boring." Dash spoke in boredom before working on cutting his great white shark steak.

Judy sat down her wine glass of nonalcoholic carrot wine and had a disagreeable facial expression. "Hey, no I am not. I'm fun!."

Nick shook his head while having his eyes on the digital screen. "No, Judy, you are boring."

Judy had that slightly irritated look on her face. "Seriously, Nick?." Judy studied her husband and tilted her head with a brow raised. "Do you seriously have to read at family dinner time?. This is supposed to be an electronic free disturbance meal."

"Then that case, Mom, you can turn off your oldie music to be fair." Violet pointed out before taking a bite of her pasta.

"That is my little girl." Nick smiled and give a kiss on her daughter's paw.

Violet depressingly smiled. "You are welcome, Daddy."

"Pfft." Judy rolled her eyes in defeat by Violet's defense for her father as she resumed cutting her steak. "Daddy's Little Girl."

Judy chewed her piece of meat before taking her sights on Dash, who was biting his steak with an issue. Now, she knows that she did not overcook the steaks and assumed that the cheap silver knives that they brought from Dollar Tree were not sharp at all. Judy can not stand seeing her baby boy struggle to cut his meat. It was unbearable to see it.

"Dash, you are not getting anywhere with cutting that steak with your teeth." Judy watched Dash try his best to cut the slab. She sighed. "Oh, geez, Nick, can you do a favor and help Dash cut his steak, please?."

Nick sighed as he wanted to read his news without any disturbance. "Let me see that plate."

Dash hands his Dad his plate. Nick went to work on cutting the meat as Judy saw the opportunity to bring up the conversation of Dash's trip to the principal's office. Of course, like any other mother, Judy wanted to give her boy to confess and not beat around the bush.

Judy coughed to break the silence. "Dash, honey?. Do you want to tell your father why you visited the main office?."

Dash jumped a bit but quickly responded as he looked at his Dad, who was focusing on cooking the steak with a blank bored face. "Well, Dad...Principal Juila wants me to be the student of the month."

"Oh, well, that is nice to know, Dash." said Nick, still cutting the meat with no effort.

Judy rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Nick, Dash was sent to the principal office for putting thumbtacks on his teacher's chair."

"It is not true!." Dash spoke in fear.

"Uh, huh, that is cool." Nick did not pay attention to what Judy said.

"No, Nick, it is not cool. This is bad." Judy spoke again.

Nick looked at Judy with concern. "What did he do again?."

"Nothing!." Dash spoke through the teeth.

Judy ignored Dash's coverup. "He once again harassed his teacher by putting thumbtacks on her chair. She caught him on camera."

"Seriously!?." Nick took his eyes on his son.

Dash looked at his father in a clam manner as possible. "In my defense, Mom is the only person who saw my speed on camera. My teacher did also, but the principal did not see it or was convinced."

"Oh, is that so?." Nick relaxed. He then smirked. "How fast were you booking?. Was it a blink in the eye or what?."

Dash grinned at hearing his father praise him for his misdeeds. Judy is not liking it not one darn bit.

"Nick we are so not encouraging our boy to do bad misbehaving things." Judy had a little frown.

Nick looked at his wife. "Hey, now, I am not encouraging. I'm just only..."

"Nick!..." Judy tried to warn him but did not do it in time.

At that moment, Nick had put too much muscle in the knife and literally cut through Dash's plate and broke it.

Nick frowned and dropped both silverware. "Great!. Just great!." Nick sat down and self-talked to himself. "First the damn car and now I have to fix that cheap Dollar Tree..."

"The car?." Judy had that worried look. "What happened to our family car!?."

In response, Nick had an irritated look on his face. Next, he handed his plate with still food on it and handed it to Dash to eat and use the plate.

"Here. I will go back to Dollar Tree and buy us a plate replacement. We are running low on dish soap anyway." Nick grabbed his tablet and left the dining room. "I will be in my personal private studies."

Judy sighed when Nick left and was out of sight. She later turned her attention to Violet who was chewing her food. She smiled at her little girl. "So, Vi, how was school?. Anything good happening today?."

Violet thinks about it. "Mmmm, there is this school party in the gym that is happening next week on Friday. Can I go?."

"Mmmm, why not?." Judy grabbed her glass to drink. "Have fun and call me when the party is over. Cool?."

Violet smiled. "Cool!."

Dash picks his cup up. "She is only going to just see Blue Eyes Rodman anyway."

Violet quickly slammed her fist in anger and looked at her brother with a warning facial expression. "Shut it!. Do not dare utter another word!."

"Oh, what?. You do not want Mom and Dad to know that you are crushing on this boy in school?. He is well known in every school." Dash pushed the conversation.

"I said stop, Dash. I mean it or else." Violet warned.

Dash had that smirk as he rested his chin on his fist. "Or what?. You are going to get me high on your cannabis edibles?."

"Hey, do not insult your sister's medical condition!." Judy warned as she stood up. "Nick!?."

Judy called her husband to back her up. Of course, it did go as well as planned.

"Kids!...listen to your mother!."

Judy sighed after hearing Nick in the back and resumed her eating after sitting back down. Violet resumed her eating and so did Dash. Unfortunately, Violet had ate a fresh cannabis bud that was accidentally in her bag of cannabis cookies and got high without Judy even noticing it. Because now Violet is hearing things and was assuming that Dash said something mart underneath his breath when drinking his water. Violet got so pissed.

"That is it!." Violet got up from her seat and ran around the table and went to beating Dash up. "You are so dead!."

"Vi let go of you brother!. Now!." Judy got up and managed to break them up.

"Thanks, Mom. Now, it is mine turn!." Dash started super-speeding all around the room stepping on his sister's bushy fox tail.

"Ow!. Ow!. Hey, quit it!." Violet lost her patience. "I said quit it!."

Violet through her purple energy blasts at Dash. Resulting him in hitting the carpet floor hard. Violet laughed evilly.

"Ouch!. Hey, no fair, Vi!." Dash argued.

"It is called fair game, speedy dumb dumb." Violet shot back.

"Grrrrr ha!." Dash jumped Violet.

The two wrestled on the floor and Judy jumped in. "Hey, stop you two!. Nick!. Nick, help!."

Back in Nick's private study which happens to be the hero room of his past glory including his old hero attire that is in its full body case. He heard his wife calling him but did not want to get involved.

"Man, can a guy fox come home from a hard days boring stressful work and read the trades and news?. Is that so hard to asked?." Nick scrolled through his tablet.

Nick decided to see who is this week's missing animal and see who is the misfortune animal. Once on that digital page, he looked through at the animal who is missing for a couple of minutes until his eyes landed on a certain animal. A male German Shepard in a suit and a pair of glasses had a good picture, as Nick read the important information.

"Bruce Barkway. Harvard University graduate. Strong political figure and lawyer. Superhero advocate and current runner for state governor...is MISSING!." Nick's ear went down as he is in utter sadness and concern. "Oh, no. Gazer Dog. Say it is not so."

"Nick engage!. Nick engage!. SOS!." yelled Judy.

Nick sighed in frustration. "This has better be good."

Nick exited his private study and went back to the dining room. He found his wife on the floor with their kids, having her arms stretched all around them trying to break them up. Nick tilted his head in utter confusion.

"What the?." Nick looked at his family.

"Oh, honey, do not just stand there and watch the show. Help out will ya?." Judy wrestled her kids. "SOS!."

"You want SOS?." Nick got a little bit anger as he wanted to read more information about Gazer Dog's sudden disappearance.

He went over there and picked up all three up as they were all fighting one another. Judy tried to keep her kids from fighting each other and losing the fight, regardless of using her superpowers.

"I'm SOSing!. I'm SOSing!." Nick yelled while shaking his family.

"I'm putting my foot up your ass, twerp!." Violet grabbed Dash's ear.

"Same to you, wanna be Raven from Teen Titans!." Dash pinching his sister's bicep.

"Nick you are not helping at all!." Judy yelled in anger.

"What do you mean?. I am helping here, baby!." Nick argues back.

The fight had come to an all-hold when they all heard the doorbell ring. It stopped them dead in their tracks and quickly let go of one another and immediately went into their chairs and acted natural. Making sure that nothing looks out of place.

"Uh, hello?."

The Wilde family did a family rock paper and scissors game to see who would answer the door. Dash lost as always as he carefully answered. To his and everyone's relief, it was Finnick who was behind the door.

"Hey, Uncle Finnick!." Dash happily spoke to his nonblood uncle before super speeding back to his seat.

Finnick, who is wearing a black leather jacket and baseball cap came in and closed the door. "Hey, guys!. Hey, Vi!. Dash!. Judy!. Nick!."

"Hehehe, hey, Finnick!. It is so icee to see you!." said Nick, using is funny snow puns. Which everyone laughed at the joke.

Finnick did a fake laugh and then looked at Nick with a blank facial expression. "Like I have not heard that one before."

Dash took a big hold of water into his mouth after putting the cup down. "Heads up, Uncle Finnick."

Dash quickly spits water out as Finnick catch on and quickly acted.

"Wow!." Finnick stepped and jumped up and quickly freezes the water before it hit the floor. "Ha!. That is another win for me."

"Oh, rats!." Dash had that disappointed look on his face. "I love the ice when it shatters on the floor."

"Alright, Judy, I will see you when I get back home." Nick quickly got up to grab his coat and was so happy to see Finnick here on the right time.

"Hey, where are you going so soon?." Judy raised her brow.

Nick guided Finnick to the front door before looking back to his wife with a cheerful smile. "It is a Wednesday."

Judy sighed with a chuckle. "Poolhall night." Judy looked at Finnick. "Tell, Elsa and the kids that I say hi."

"Will do..." Finnick found myself being pushed out the door. "Goodnight, Judy!. Goodnight, kids!."

After Nick closed the door and locked it, Judy breathed out through her mouth and turned her attention to Dash. Dash looked at his mom for a few seconds before giving her an innocent smile.

"Do not think that you are out of the woods just yet, young man." Judy went back to eating her steak. "Your Dad and I are still going to talk about the idea of punishment for going into the principal's office."

"I'm not the only kid that goes to the main office you know?." Dash said boardly while playing with his food.

"Well, not every kid has superpowers. Now, it is perfectly normal to..." Judy was stopped when Violet spoke in anger.

Violet was happy that Dash is getting in trouble but when her Mom said about being normal, she just can not let that stand. Especially when she is high.

"Normal?. Normal!. What do you know about being normal, Mom?. Huh?. Huh!?." Violet looked at her mom in anger.

Judy spoke through her teeth in anger. "Now, lower your voice, young lady. I mean it, Violet!."

It only encourages Violet to keep on pushing. "We act normal, Mom!. That is super different compared to being normal!. The only thing that is normal about our family is when we sit down and watch NFL football. It is bad enough that we are Cleveland Browns fans."

Judy looked at her daughter and saw her eyes were bloodshot red and now knew she was high.

"Yeah, ain't that a bitch?." Dash mumbled underneath his voice.

Judy's ears caught this and looked at Dash with a stern motherly facial expression. Dash quickly fixed his trouble.

"Uh, I mean, ain't that a barnyard?." Dash made a little chuckle.
