They entered the apartment without knocking on the door and he was pretty sure the league were the only ones qualified to do that.
He was with Twice and Toga and it was nice to have them around.
They started to have inside jokes at this point now. They made comments on the various noises coming from Dabi's bedroom.
He found that they talked about their stressors, something he can't often openly do. Talking about being on call and how it felt like he was ignoring his phone more and more.
Twice opening about his splitting feelings when he wasn't wearing his mask. The struggle with being Jin and how much it meant to be Twice in the league.
"He is soon cute and sweet and we'd be able to hold hands and cuddle." Toga was gushing over a crush that she had. At least this time wasn't furthering the conversation with talking about drinking their blood and becoming one with them.
It was the innocent beginnings that Toga longed for. The sweetheart romance that Keigo missed.
"What's wrong Birdy? You got a bit of a crush on someone?" She pokes his side while teasing him.
He pokes back, "Nah, the commission would want me to be committed with someone anyways. Seems I'm more of the heart breaker these days anyways"
The bittersweet comment was intercepted with noises from Dabi's back room.
"Sounds rougher than usual." Twice laughed, "Awe, they're making love."
The entirety of Twice was amusing and a delight for Hawks.
They start to casually play video games and never in his life did he see himself playing video games with a group of friends. And although the apartment was rundown and there was always something illicit happening… he felt at home the most here.
After a few rounds of each of them nudging and trying to cheat he goes to get himself water.
The same time that Dabi exits the bedroom. His pants were on in that way were they displayed his defined 'v' and lack of underwear.
Only wearing them to show some decency. He was also shirtless which was different. In the times that Hawks had had a threesome with the guy or just been around him in general he noticed that the guy liked to wear a shirt unless it was unnecessary.
Or it got 'too hot'. Which he found hilarious and loved to poke fun of it.
"You look done." He jokes as Dabi grabs two bottles of water. Noticing the sweat along his body and he was pretty sure he saw other colored fluids.
"Nah. I'm just getting started with this one." The man smirked.
Hawks chuckles at his friend, "Does she have Daddy Issues?"
Because he knew that was Dabi's favorite kink at this point.
Dabi, "Better. She's damaged goods."
He tries not to grimace. That didn't sound too appealing to him. Though he was sure some people might view him in the same light.
Instead he lifts his water bottle, "One man's trash is another's treasure." Dabi taps his water bottle with a nod and they part ways.
Dabi felt like the older brother he never had, beside the sharing women and the kiss that one time, and as he sat between Toga and Twice he felt like he was having the youth that the commission took from him.
Sure it wasn't glamorous but he felt free and like he belonged. Without rule of stipulations.
