Christmas wasn't the same without you. New Year's wasn't either. I've tried to call you. If you call 'trying' staring at your phone number on my phone, then yes I have tried. I am terrified that I am going to run into you one day on the streets.
I started doing security. I needed something stable. Kathy went abroad to travel to Europe. It's just Eli and I right now. Dickie and Lizzie are back off at college. I couldn't leave the city. I couldn't leave. One day, I know I will.
I wish I could be there for you. I feel like a failure, Olivia. I failed you. I don't know what else to write. Everything I'm writing is just another excuse but with different wording. I'm sorry.
