"What a boring day..."
The blonde wearing a long purple dress sighed as she sat behind her desk, a pile of document stacked on it. Being the big bad was not all fun and games as the Demon Lord also had the duty to manage their territory and any internal disputes. Right now, the lower fiends from the East and the Beastfolk from the South were facing difficulties due to a recent storm so she had to find a solution.
"Are you tired, Milady? Should we take a break?" The taller demon behind her asked with worries in her voice. She had short brunette hair and was wearing a female business outfit. What the two of them had in common was a rather pale skin, a skinny tail on the lower part of their back and a pair of small bat wing above said tail.
"It's okay, Takako. As we speak right now, our people are suffering and it's out duty as leaders to help them."
"But please don't push yourself too hard." The older woman sighed as she deposited more papers on the table and took a seat from across her Mistress, also working on some of the papers. Most of these were requests from farmers and soldiers alike and they needed to be checked manually one by one by the head of the state.
The two of them worked in silence as the raid was downpouring outside, visible from the large glass window. From time to time, lightnings would roar somewhere far away, slightly illumintating the room. The two high demons were creatures of the night, meaning they didn't need any form of light to operate and were fine in the dark room.
After a while, Yuuna - the Demon Lord - picked a paper and frowned at it. "The humans are at it again, huh...?"
The secretary lifted her head and turned her attention to the piece of paper. "Is that a report from the generals on the border?"
"Yes," a sigh escaped the blonde's lips as she closed her eyes and massaged her temples. "apparently, the humans are saying that a new Hero rose up to unite the people and they plan to invade us soon."
"Even though their previous Hero failed miserably against General Mai?"
"I cannot comprehend them." the Demon Lord placed the paper back on the table and looked at another one. "I wish they at least sent a cute girl. I am tired of having to fight hot-tempered young men who keep dying against the executors because they are too impatient."
"Hehe. You trully like girls, don't you?"
There was a moment of silence before Yuuna chuckled. "Who wouldn't fall for cute girls." Her character made a full 180° as she said these words and she started acting like a little girl. "The other day, I dream that a cute girl with long pink hair walked into the palace and brought me somewhere far away so the two of us could like happy ever after~"
"Okay okay." the older woman sighed, "I will never understand why people fantasizes romance so much."
"Eh~" a smirk appeared on the blonde's face, "Takako-chan, don't you have a lover though?"
"Rena-san is not my lover. She is just a member of the 'observer' that I respect and admire."
The blush on the brunette's face was not convincing to the slightest thought as Yuuna's grin only grew wider. After that, the two of them just continued teasing each others while handling the remaining paperwork.

"Cheers!"
The adventurers inside the tavern were very lively and everyone enjoyed their evening drink, while the bards were singing. At the center of it was a short pink-haired girl wearing a leather armor - composed of a long-sleeve cloak and short skirt. She also had a pair of battle boots and knee-high stockings on.
The girl was meekly drinking strawberry drink as the other members of her party were talking about their recent adventure. "What the heck was wrong with that dragon. My ribbon is all ruined now." The smallest of the group complained. She had bright blonde hair let loose and was wearing a purple robe and a wizard's hat. "Even thought I valued that ribbon more than anything since it was a gift from my precious Nee-sama."
"Well well... Please calm down, Runa-san." the tallest member of their party comforted the petite girl. She had long ravent hair and was wearing a uniform ressembling the pinkette's. "At least none of us were severely wounded on that fight thanks to everyone's effort."
"Yeah, nothing beats teamwork." The last member of the party sighed. She also had long silky blonde hair and was wearing a white robe, a want placed beside her. "I thought we were gonners when the dragon released that breath attack though. It was thanks to Nanami quickly casting Taunt and Miracle Barrier to redirect the attack that none of us perished."
"It was nothing too serious. I am sure you all would have been able to find a way to stop it." the Hero - Nanami - chuckled nervously and she didn't like being in the center of attention. Their party of 4 was known to the the Hero's party and their job was to fight against demons and other dangerous creatures in order to make the world into a better place.
"No need to be that modest, Nanami-san." Shizuku smiled softly as she tried to reassure her friend. "You managed to become the Hero thanks to your efforts and I am very proud to call myself one of your friends."
"She's right, you know." Runa added, "My judgement is never wrong. I joined your party because I believe in you. My best shoot and finding my Nee-sama is to follow you around."
"You are quite direct, Runa-san..." the pinkette sweated.
"Of course. After all, I might not be an 'observer' anymore but that doesn't change the fact I still have a duty to help keep the balance in the world. It is only natural that I am honest to myself." she then looked behind her to see a group of young female adventurer looking shily at the group. Runa had a smirk on her face as she stood up and walked toward them. "Hello laddies, do you wanna have fun with me?"
"There she goes again." Reo complained as she took another bite on her cake. "is fooling with other girls that fun?"
"Well... she has always liked girls and is quite popular with them so it feels very natural for Runa-san..." Shizuku placed a finger on her chin. "Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with romance so I cannot really understand."
"Same here." Nanami sighed. "I said goodbye to romance the day I aggred to become the new Hero. After all, we never know when we might die."
The three of them remained quiet after that comment. While their party of four were very strong compared to other adventurers, even the experienced one, they were mostly just humans so they had their limit. Humans were far weaker compared to other races so they had to use underhanded strategies in order to win against stronger enemies. As they were lost in their thought, a young woman approached their group.
"H-hello there. Are you the Lady Hero's party?" she meekly asked, bringing everyone's attention to her. "Someone just deposited this letter to the counter earlier. They were wearing a cloak so I could not see their face."
"A letter." Nanami accepted the item as a frown appeared on her face. After giving their thanks to the woman, the three of them looked at the pink envolope in the Hero's hands.

"Gah!"
The young girl groaned in pain as she was slammed on the hard soil. A tall woman stood beside her looking fown at the little girl. "Stand up, Nanami. You'll never be a Hero with that attitude."
"But Master..." the girl tried to push her back to stand up but fell back down on the floor not long after due to exhaustion. "It hurts like nothing I imagined. Also, I am not planning to become a Hero or anything. After all, an average girl like me would stand no chance against demons."
"Quit winning and grab your sword already." The woman sighed as she walked away and stopped by the shade of a treee. Seeing that her pupil could not keep up anymore, she walked back to the girl and lifted her bridal style. "I guess there's no point in rushing." she helped the little girl toward the shade of the tree and started fanning her.
Nanami was barely 10 years old and came from a small townside village so her body was not very developped. She wasn't that particulary strong nor smart and didn't have that much magical abilities but Rena could see she had lot of potential. This girl said she wanted to become an adventurer despite everyone telling it was impossible. While she didn't want to become a Hero herself, she still made lot of efforts to become a full-fledge adventurer thought.
"Nanami..."
"What is it, Master?"
"Why do you want to become an adventurer so bad?"
There was a moment of silence as the two of them looked at the road in front of them. The two of them have walked since dawn, all while training on their way. Already a year has passed since Nanami left her village to train with this 'observer' and the two were living as nomads.
"The world is a beautiful place," the girl quoted, "When I was lost in the mountains when I was a child, I met a beautiful girl with silky blonde hair and ivory pale skin. She kept me company until I found my way back to the village and she told me about the wonders of the world she saw. I want to see the endless land of water they call the 'sea' and the white cold thing they call 'ice'. From what she told me, the world is far more vast than anything I could have ever imagined."
"Eh. So you want to meet that girl again?"
A small blush appeared on the girl's cheek. "I am not sure if she even remembers me but I would be very happy if we meet again."
"Do you know her name?"
"Yes. She told me her name was Yuuna."

"*yawn*"
The wasteland by the West of the Demonkind realm was usually quiet so the soldiers posted there to guard their border with human countries didn't have that much thing to do. No matter how foolish the humans were, they wouldn't be stupid enought to launch an invasion on this flat land.
"It's quiet as always, isn't it?"
The acting general wearing a light silver armor looked behind her to see Yuuna with a big smile on her face. "Yuuna? Are you done with your paperwork?"
"Yes."
It was in the middle of the day and the Demon Lord was using a parasol to shield her from the heat. It was not as if she was weak against it but it was never too pleasant to get sunburn.
"How was your patrol? Anything suspicious?"
The raven-haired general nodded. She had short black hair cut above the shoulder and was around the same height as her blonde childhood friend. While she was a different kind of demon due to not having wings but instead a feline tail and cat ears atop her head, she was a very reliable friend that Yuuna trust. "The Hero's party managed to slay the berzerk dragon from the Mountains south of here and they took a rest at a nearby town last night. I went to scout out and the four of them were cuties."
"Cuties?" that last comment picked the blonde's interest. "Are you saying the Hero's party is full of female members unlike the previous ones composed of only hot-blooded young men and stinky old men?"
"I couldn't believe my eyes either. If it wasn't for their aura, I would have never guessed that these frail-looking girls were the strongest adventurers the humans currently have."
"And did you try to get in contact with them?"
Mai sighed at that. "I didn't think showing up to talk to them directly would work so I just left a letter to explain that we don't want anothe war to break. The one from 20 years ago already whipped more than half the world population and I would like to avoid another tragedy if possible."
"Yeah. Nothing beats peace." a sad look appeared on the Demon Lord's face at that. "I really hope this generation's Hero will be wiser than the previous ones. If we manage to convince them, there is a chance we could finally achieve peace. I spent the last 10 years making all the preparations."
"I believe in you, Yuuna." the ravenette smiled broadly, "you can also believe in me. I will do my best in order to help you achieve your dreams, no matter what."
"Don't act too reckless thought. I want you to remain safe by my side once we achieve world peace."

"Yuuna-san, are you sure about this?" Shizuku carefully looked around as their party of four were walking deeper into the forest.
"I could feel a Demon's scent from that letter. I want to hear out what they have to say. Why do Demonkind hate humans so much and is there a way to find a peaceful resolution to these conflicts."
Nanami was a pacifist and only fought when it was the last option. While her mentor taught her to never waver, she couldn't help that feeling deep down that everyone has a good side and peace through talk is worth a shoot. That didn't stop her from being very strong if it comes down to brawling though.
"I understand how you feel but don't push your luck too much." Reo, who stood behind her commented. "I hope you remember when we thought that succubus last year where the four of us almost died because we let our guard down."
"I will never forget that embarassement." a bright blush appeared on Shizuku's face as she remembered that fight. "That was my first kiss. She was so mean."
"But we survived and thanks to that experience, we became even stronger." Runa commented from behind everyone else. Their formation was usually Nanami as the Vanguard with Reo as a support behind her. Shizuku was the fast archet whose job was to harrass and finish off the enemies. Finally, Runa was a mage so she preferred to having to fight directly and prefered to cast buff spells or offensive spells against their opponent.
"What was that succubus' name again." Nanami questioned as the group made their way into a clearer and in front of them was the great wasteland serving as natural border between their kingdom and the Demon Lord's domain.
"Her name was Eris. She sent me another letter last week to tell me about her days."
"And you said you had no experience with romance." The grumpy cleric complained. "There are only 3 things I really hate on this world; one is big boobs, two is liars and four is dumb dense idiots who aren't aware of their situation."
"That's quite the word, considering you agred to travel with two of them." The wizard grinned while eying at Shizuku and Nanami. "By the way, I love big boobs. Talking about which, Shizuku; let me grope them already."
"W-what are you saying Runa-san?"
"I am tired of waiting. These marshmallows are always calling for me and I feel as if my sanity will not hold any longer. Now, come here and let me enjoy them. I will make sure to give them a good suck later." Runa said; frustration in her voice.
"Didn't you already fool around enought with these girls yesterday?"
"Won't you two shut up?!" Reo yelled at the duo and gave them a chop on their head. "Jeez. Why am I stuck with idiots like you three. I have the feeling I am the only mature one in our group."
"Girls," Nanami finally broke her silence as she got into a defensive stence. The other three also quickly got in position as she felt the presence of the newcomers.

"Nanami, do you know that people used to be equal before the great war from 1200 years ago?"
"Equal?" the petite girl questioned. The two of them were bellow a large tree to help shield them from the raid. They shared a blanked to avoid the cold and thier shoulders were touching. Not far from that were wet clothes hanging on a branch.
"Yes. There were no 'humans' or 'demonkind'. Everyone was happy and no one suffered."
"Then, why did the world change?"
There was a moment of silence as Yuuna moved her tail around. She then wrapped it on the petite girl's leg. She was still too young to understand though and remained unfazed. "People started wanting more than they already own. Because of few people's greed, the world was plunged into chaos and the population had to choose if they wanted power or peace. The descendant of the power seeking people became the demonking and the peace-seekers became the humans. A minority choose to remain neutral though so we started calling them the 'observers'."
"But humans are also greedy and keep waging wars." the younger girl noted.
"Yes. After the war ended, some humans became consumed by greed and lust for power while some demonkind realized how foolish war was and had change of heart. In this world, there are lot of bad people, but there are also many good people who want to see the world at peace again."
"Yuuna... do you plan to make the world into a better place?"
There was a moment of silence before she spoke again.

"Yuuna...?"
Nanami's mouth remained open as she looked at who approached them. A group of four demons slowly walked toward the group. Everyone present were armed but no one dared attacking since they were planning to solve this peacefully.
"Nanami... is that you?" The Demon Lord was also shocked. "Do you... do you remember me?"
The pinkette nodded shily. "I knew you were a demon but that aura... you are the Demon Lord, right?"
"Yes..." the blonde looked down. "And you are the Hero... I didn't account for this."
After all, the Demon Lord and the Hero were the respective champion from each side and they were fated to destroy each others. For the past millenia, not a single Demon Lord and Hero were able to overcome fate and always ended up killing each others.
"Yahoo, Shizuku~ How have you been?" the succubus with long blonde hair and wearing a red dress behind Yuuna greeted the groups. "You didn't tell me your group became the Hero party. In fact, you didn't answer any letters I sent you. I was worried you know."
"Eris-san?" the archer panicked as she took a step back. "Why are you here?"
"I am acting as a Demon General. After our fight, I realized that not all humans were bad - especially cute girls like you that I need to protect and have join us - so I joined Yuuna in her plan to bring peace into the world once again."
"Don't get fooled, girls." Runa was the one to comment on that as she readied her wand. "Don't forget how many lives the Demon General took. I will never forget the amount of bodies we had to burry from the aftermath of our fight against the Berzerker at the ruins." flames could be seen on her eyes. She has clearly suffered from the trauma of their lives as adventurers and wasn't ready to forgive the Demonkind any soon.
"She has a point." the one too agree was Takako, who stood beside Yuuna. "We cannot erase all the incidents in the past. I cannot say either that people's lives don't matter. All these people died because we couldn't reform the Demons fast enough and for that, we want to offer our most sincere apology and will promise to work harder toward world peace."
"Are..." the former observer's blood was still boiling from rage, "are you willing to offer your live to prove that?"
"If my life alone is enought to convince you that we are willing to cooperate, so be it. I just have one favor."
"You still dare act all mighty after that apology?!"
"There is an Ophanage in the mountains 3 days North of here. Promise me that you will take care of the children there regardless of their race."
"Regardless of their race?" Nanami questioned.
"Yes, we recenly started taking humans in to help them. Yuuna's recent reform plan helped us greatly reduce direct fightings so we moved our soldiers to a new task of helping raise our image. It was no easy feat and we are still far from accomplishing our job thought... but we are willing to make more efforts."
Reo looked at her companions, then at the demons. "Are you telling the truth?" she asked with a quiet voice while looking down, her bangs hiding her eyes. "Mama and Papa wanted believed peace was possible until the bitter end. I wanted to honor their last request so I went trough a hell of training to convince the Demons by force to make peace. I was supposed to turn 22 this year but my body wouldn't grow since my 13th birthday. I seriously hate all Demons and wish we could just wipe them all out of existence from this world to solve all our problem."
"Reo..." her companions looked at her with sad expression. All four of them were in their early 20s but their bodies stopped growing a little after their teens. It was mainly due to the intense training they went through but they didn't complain about it in hope their effort will help change the world.
"I understand how you feel." This time, it was Mai who answered. "I also lost my parents and siblings in the last war and swore I will do anything so no one else would feel that pain. We came here prepared to be beaten down to a pulp and not resist if necessary so feel free to unleash your rage." she grinned heppilly whil throwing her sword away. "Just make sure to not finish off Yuuna though as she is the only one who is able to lead the Demonkind and it would be a pain for your to manage if you kill her."
"Mai..." the Demon Lord looked at her childhood friend. She understood her comrades' resolve and took a deep breath. "The truth is I don't want like feeling pain, both physically and psychologically so I would appreciate if you are willing to talk this out."
Reo was about to yell back as she looked at their opponent. However, the one to stop her was Nanami. She had a resolved look on her face and readied her sword. "Yuuna, grab your weapon."
"Pardon?"
"Right now, my mind is in shamble and I don't know what to believe in. I just know that my Master always told me the best way to know someone's resolve is to clash weapons against them." The pinkette explained. "So I repeat, please grab your weapons and fight against us without a care for anything else."
"But..."
Mai took a good look at the girl and grinned. "I like that look in your eyes." The then called her sword back and got into a fighting stance. "I won't be holding back so don't come crying if you get hurt."
"Y-you are so arrogant for a catgirl. I will teach you a lesson and will beat the crap out of you." Reo yelled back at the girl. The rage in her eyes slightly calmed down thought after hearing her friend's words.
"Eh~ You're quite cute when you are not depressed. I want to bring you home." The General mused. "My name is Mai by the way. And I want to make you my wife."
"What are you saying, you pervert? I will beat you and make you a servant of the great archbishop Reo."
"Reo, huh? That's a really cute name~"
Eris chuckled as she saw these two and she summoned a crossbow. "Shizuku, we can't lose to them. Let's give it our best as future lovers~"
"L-lovers...?" The ravenette blushed intensely. "T-that's a little..."
"Don't you like me...?" the Succubus had a disappointed look in her face. "Do you perhaps hate me...? Even though I gave you my first kiss..."
"Hold on... That was also your first?"
"Yes..." a small blush appeared on the blonde's face. "I might not look like it but I am quite reserved and would rather feed on delicious meals rather than other people's lifefore." Shizuku couldn't help but to note that the other girl looked really cute. "If it is okay with you, would you be willing to have tea with me later. Of course, I will give my best in this fight and will not be holding back so I apologize in advance if I hurt you."
"N-no need to apologize. I will not hold back either."
"Everyone..." Takako was a little confused as why everyone's fighting spirit rose. She soon made eye contact with Runa thought. The girl was also ready to take her on and she sighed. "I know I said earlier that I was willing to offer my life but I still want to live to be honest. I still haven't told her how I feel after all..."
"Now tell me, big boobs." Runa's eyes remained glued to the older woman's chest, "why do I smell my Nee-sama's parfume on you?"
"Pardon?"
"I am the one who asks questions." the petite arrogant girl continued to pierce daggers with her eyes at Takako's chest - which was hidden behind the fabric of her white shirt and dark blue suit top. "I swear, once I beat you, I will free these mounts of yours and suck on them like there is no tomorrow. I will then force you to split the beans and tell me everything you know about my Nee-sama."
"Come on, what are you talking about? Also, my name is Takako. I would be very pleased if you called my by my name istead of that embarrassing nickname."
"Takako, huh? That's quite a cute name for such a big boobies."
"Jeez. Please stop!"
"Runa-chan, please stop teasing her. She is already on verge of tears." The one who saved the secretary was the Hero, who took sympathy in her. "But it is true I can feel Master's scent coming from her. Maybe they know each others."
"Master...? Nee-sama...?" Takako was a little confused at that as she thought about it. "Are you perhaps referring to Rena-san...?"
"So you know Nee-sama?"
"Yes, she is helping us with our plan. She likes to brag about her cute younger sister and cute disciple a lot though. I am sorry I didn't realize she was referring to you two."
The secretary gave a kind smile as she remembered how Rena would walk in their office, then rant about the 'two cutest girls in the world'. Honestly, at this point, Takako was suspecting is her crush was actually a lolicon and incestous. But she wanted to believe it was not the case as she wanted her chance at the beautiful blonde.
"Nee-sama is into naive-looking girls so you have a shoot." Runa commented as if able to read the older woman's mind. "Thought you picked my interest as well."
"Pardon?"
"It's decided; I will make you my wife once I beat you up."
"Pardon?"
Yuuna was surprised as her comrades and the Hero party started engaging in a skirmish. However, this one was different from all the fight they were through. Everyone had smiles on their face and looked more like children playing that the Demon Generald fighting the Hero party.
"Yuuna..." She turned toward Nanami who was slowly approaching her. "You've grown into a beautiful woman." a small blush appeared on both of their face. "Let us fight and prove whatever gods are out there that our resolve is far stronger than any 'fate' they wrote up. This time, the Demon Lord and the Hero will not kill each others but instead will seek a happy ending for everyone."
"Nanami..." tears appeared on the blonde's eyes before she charged the girl and held her tightly against her chest. "Thank you for believing in me. I know, once this is finished, let's get married so everyone can be certain we made peace. I also want two children. Of course we can't give birth since we are both women but we can adopt. I want cute ones that I will spoil everyday and, and..."
"Faimp camp beaff (I can't breath)!" the petite girl tried to fight for her life but she also felt aroused from the scent of the woman she loved.
"By the way, I touch myself three times a day while thinking about the time we spent together as children so you have to get ready in order to satisfy my needs and fulfill your role as my wife."
"Fain fu fiiie (I am going to die)!"
"Also, also..."
As the petite girl continued to be suffocated, her soul left her body due to the lack of oxygen, causing everyone to stop. Yuuna instantly panicked. "Holy cow. I just killed Nanami with my breasts!"
"RIP." Reo bluntly said with an unamused look on her face.
"I am so jealous." Runa on the other hand made a disgusted look. "That bastard got the best possible way to leave this world." Meanwhile, Takako and Shizuku were starting to sob.
"Woahhh!" Nanami quickly woke up as she was able to breath again, then was confused and annoyed at everyone. "Yeah yeah. I know I died a pitiful death but it's not the end of the world as I have the Hero's Miracle which allows me to resurect once per month. Talking about which, you guys all have that blessing so you should be aware."
"But..." Mai tried to supress her laughter but was failing to, which hurt Nanami's feeling. "Imagine dying because a girl hugged you. That tale is sure to go in the annals of history."
"P-please don't. I will be so embarrassed that I will end myself right away."
"Nanamiiiii!" The crying Yuuna hugged the girl, making sure to not give her another marshmallow hell. I am so sorry. As an apology, I will make sure to suck your boobies until dawn tonight."
"Wha-what the heck are you saying?!"
Reo sighed as she relaxed and let go of her weapon. "This made me lose interest in the fight. I just want to go home and have a shower. Let's call it a tie."
"Agreed." Shizuku agred.
"But I wanted to see the expression on Shizuku's face as I bound her up and start *** her *** until she *** all over my face while ***, all of that when I *** and *** that precious *** *** *** *** *** ***"
"Woaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Eris-san, what are are you saying in front of children?!"
By children, she meant Reo but the girl was too shocked by the vocabulary used by the other blonde to argue. Poor girl had smokes steaming out of her head. "*** *** ***?"
"Reooooooooooooo! Please hang in there. You don't need to repeat what she said. Someone please call 911."

"Then what happened after that, Mother?" the petite girl sitting on Yuuna's lap happily questioned.
Four individuals were enjoying their picnic on a verdrant hill. The ocean was visible in the background while the sky was clear. Already two centuries has passed since the world became a peaceful place once again thanks to the joined effort of the Heroes and the Demon Lords.
"Everyone lived happy ever after."
"But why didn't my body grow up at all?" Nanami complained as she looked at her flat chest. "I became immortal thanks to the Hero's blessing but did I really have to keep this 13 years old's appearance."
"I like it thought~"
"Are you some kind of lolicon or what?"
Their two adopted daughters just chuckled at that. "May, do you want to race to see who gets to eat the extra puding?"
"Sure, Aleah. But I won't lose."
As the two girls happily stood up and ran around, the two women just chuckled. After they were done organizing everything, they both retired from their respective jobs and decided to live in this remote island in the middle of the ocean, far from people's eyes. From time to time, they would still meet up with their former comrades - who also became immortal by the way.
"This trully is out happy ending, isn't it?"
"Yes."

"The sun, the beach, soft drink and girls..." Rena happily listed what she saw around her as she relaxed on a chair. Thanks to helping solve the conflicts few years ago, she was given some hard-earned holidays and what better place than the ressort that just opened up.
