Blaine slumped down in detention with a groan, flicking his lighter at the back of the class. He'd landed himself in detention after getting into a fight with Karofsky, defending Kurt. He ended up far better off than the other boy but they were both sat in silence in the same room.
After the bell rang, Blaine slung his bag over his shoulder and dashed from the room, slamming straight into Kurt. "Jesus, Hummel. It's like you want someone to take you clean out." He teased, running a hand through his hair. "You came all this way looking for me, Huh? I'm flattered.."
Kurt let out a soft squeak as he felt the other boy's body slam against him, nearly toppling him over. He'd hesitated for a while about whether he should approach Blaine, but eventually he convinced himself to at least owe him a thank you.
"I- Uh yeah. I just wanted to say thank you for earlier.." the taller boy replied softly, keeping his glance to the ground. The last thing he needed was to see that damn smirk staring back at him. "I don't need a bodyguard but I do appreciate it.."
Blaine raised an eyebrow, shifting his weight to one side as he examined the others sudden change in demeanour. "So you expect me to just stand on the sidelines and watch that pretty face get pummelled? Don't get me wrong, you'd still look damn sexy a little messed up-"
Kurt cut Blaine off with a playful glare, rolling his eyes. He wanted so badly to just hate the other boy but how could he when he was always the one to jump to his rescue. Not to mention those gorgeous golden eyes, that damn smirk and even he had to admit that the bad boy persona was a little intriguing. "I'd rather not be messed up. Anyway I just wanted to say thank you, not hear any flirtatious comments or innuendos." He replied slowly, spinning around on his heels as he made his way down the hallway.
"Then you're talking to the wrong person." Blaine called after him, grabbing his bag up off the floor and following after the other boy. "Besides, you knew that when you came searching for me." He pointed out, running his tongue over his slightly bruised bottom lip. "Like I said, it's flattering."
Kurt glanced over to Blaine for a moment with a small smile on his face as he caught up to him. He spared him a look for a second before frowning a little, reaching up to brush his thumb over the bruise. "Blaine, Your lip.." He whispered.
"Mmm, you know the best way to help it heal?" Blaine purred softly, tugging back a little at the touch to meet Kurt's unimpressed look.
"Ice?"
Blaine rolled his eyes fondly, taking a step closer to the taller boy and meeting his eyes for a moment, his signature smirk returning to his face. "Funny." He replied playfully, tugging at Kurt's bag to close the distance between them. "But not exactly what I was thinking.."
Kurt hesitated for a moment, feeling his cheeks heating up at the sudden intimacy between the pair of them. "I know exactly what you were thinking, Blaine.." he assured, unable to tell his body to move back from Blaine. "But I'm definitely not going to be giving you a kiss."
Blaine's eyes were darting between Kurt's eyes and lips for a moment, a smirk returning to his face. "Uh huh, yet you still haven't moved away.." he whispered, leaning a little closer. "Don't tell me you're considering it.."
"I'm not considering it." Kurt assured a little too quickly, nudging Blaine back after a moment with a sarcastic eye roll. "Like I said, thank you for standing up for me earlier. I appreciate it but that doesn't mean I owe you anything, Anderson." He whispered, pulling back as he tried to play off the obvious blush across his cheeks by continuing to walk to the parking lot.
Blaine was pretty proud of himself right about now as he watched the blush spread across Kurts cheeks, glancing up at him through his lashes. "Okay fine I won't ask for a kiss, how about I try my luck and charming my way into bed? I can be pretty convincing."
"Try me." Kurt said simply.
"You really think you'll be able to resist the charm? I've already got you blushing like an idiot and I haven't even started yet." Blaine teased, following behind Kurt before practically tripping over his feet at the abrupt stop.
Kurt had suddenly stopped in his tracks, looking back to meet Blaine's eyes. "I think I've resisted your so called charm for what, two months now? You're either not trying or you're not as charming as you think." He replied with a small smirk of his own. "I think you give yourself too much credit, Anderson. But by all means, try your luck."
That sounded like a challenge. A challenge to finally get Kurt to drop his defences. He had to admit that there was something refreshing about having to try this hard to chase someone, as much fun as it was to sleep with someone. It was also a lot of fun to have the occasional flirt combined with the stubbornness and attitude that Kurt seemed to hold. "Well I don't lose, Hummel. So get ready to be totally charmed off your feet." He smirked, leaning in a little only to be stopped by Kurt's hand on his chest.
"Tank you again for today." Kurt said simply, holding his hand securely in place to keep the distance between them as he watched Blaine for a moment. "I've got to go, I'm already late for glee club. Besides, that just gives you an hour to try and search up what charming actually means.." he replied slowly with a small smirk tugging at his own lips, spinning on his heels to make his way back to the choir room.
Blaine pressed his tongue into the side of his mouth, watching Kurt strut away as he stood with a plan already running around his head.
He was going to get Kurt into his bed and he knew just the way to do it.
