HelloEver22: Yup! Every Commander will have their strengths over other Commanders. After all, they've been fighting the Sirens for quite a bit longer than Liam has. That said, he's a pretty fast learner, is quick to adapt/fake it til he makes it, and has a whole island of near never-ending resources to help him stay supplied and keep up with the others.
Kalli: To answer your question, only Yang's Eugen, at least for now, is from WG. It was mentioned early on in the story, but no two Commanders can 'construct' and get the exact same shipgirl regardless if they used the same information template base no matter how many times they do it. That being the case, AL versions take precedence unless they don't for whatever reason, like if another Commander has them before Liam constructs them, which will happen. Don't worry though, it's only just two shipgirls in his fleet. Oh, and bare in mind that because each Commander has an 'exclusive faction', he will NEVER get shipgirls from the Sardegna Empire, Dragon Empery, or Tempesta just like how none of the other Commanders will ever get any shipgirls from the Northern Union... so don't ever ask for Littorio. It won't happen.

Chapter 18
- With Eugen's fleet, specifically the vanguard -
September 8th, 2023 - Evening.
"...Crap! Crap, crap, CRAP!"
With widened eyes, and barely a second to spare, Kii narrowly evaded the second Siren Elite's beam cannon fire as it cut through the battlefield, even taking out some of her own forces who couldn't move out the way in time along the way.
'... If I was even one second slower..!'
"Heh. Don't worry. Even if that attack did connect, I'd make sure to at least leave you breathing," mockingly reassured the skimpily dressed, golden eyed Siren Elite with long, white blue/lavender hair smugly smiling down at the heavily breathing ravenette battleship. "I'm super nice like that, y'know?"
"...Tch!" 'Damn cocky Siren slut!'
"What? Cat got your tongue? Well, doesn't mater. Let's get back to it, shall we?"
"... Bitch!"
"Hey now, that's not nice. I'll have you know that this here Purifier is the nicest Siren you'll ever meet!"
*BBBOOOOOMMMM*
With a faux pout, the blue/lavender haired Siren Elite fired off her mecha mounted guns at Kii, who quickly managed to put up an ether shield before countering with her own rigging's guns.
*BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!*
Water sprayed, explosions rattled off and sparks of ether flew about as Kii and the rest of her and Strasser's fleets took on the annoyingly smug, mecha riding Siren Elite while one of Admiral Yang's fleets, led by the bow wielding Eagle Union Aircraft Carrier Enterprise took on the Siren Liam and his shipgirls fought just yesterday.
'Compared to us, those other shipgirls only need one group to take on that lance wielding blue haired bitch...! Dammit!'
Kii, and the rest of Liam's shipgirls for that matter, couldn't help but feel frustrated at seeing how far behind she and her fleet sisters really were compared to both the Sirens and that other Commander's shipgirls; a fact best displayed seeing only one fleet is taking on the very same Siren Elite they themselves struggled so hard with while they needed two whole fleets to barely hold off whoever this new, mouthy gutter slunt was. Luckily, instead of letting all of that get them down, those feelings instead gave them that much more motivation to fight harder, something the hammerhead mecha riding Siren Elite took note of, even smiling at the sight.
'Heh. Tester was right. While they might still be a fair bit weaker and less experienced than that other Commander's kansen, they definitely have much faster learning speed and growth potential. Not only that, but their own Commander isn't stupid either. I'm sure he knows attacking us won't work by now since he hasn't fired a single shot yet and is instead focusing on keeping the mass production ships and executors from supporting us or getting back into formation. Either he's very skilled, a quick learner, or is following the other, more experienced Commander's lead. Well regardless, a kansen fleet's overall abilities and potential are tied to their Commander overall abilities and potential. If nothing else, I can see why Tester's so interested on keeping an eye on them. Frankly, I guess it doesn't really matter since all we have to do is keep them distracted.'
"And what the hell is with that smile, huh?" half asked, half shouted a very irate Jean Bart as she tried to strike the smug looking Siren Elite in the face once her shields went down from their earlier combined artillery assault. After all, she couldn't let such a prime chance to punch the bitch in the face just get away like that.
Seeing the brunette, ponytail'd shipgirl leap up into the air and ready to hit her with a haymaker aimed for her pretty face, Purifier couldn't help but let her grin grow even wider at the sheer audacity of it all.
"What's this? Throwing punches like some wild savage? I mean, I'd expect as much from humans, but from a kansen? Now I've seen everything!"
"Fuck off you Siren cunt!" Jean Bart roared, completely swallowed up by her normally suppressed battle lust. Unfortunately...
"Oi, Jeanie! Look out!"
"...Huh?"
... that was exactly why she was too late in registering Alabama's warning until it was too late.
"...Heh! Nice try. And oh so close too!"
"...!" 'Ah, merde!'
Jean Bart's vision was swallowed up by the blinding flash of light from the two floating attack drones that had, up until that point, not moved a single millimeter from Purifier's side, only becoming active the exact moment brunette came within spitting distance of Purifier's smiling face.
"...Aaaagggghhhh!" Jean Bart shouted out in pain as she took the bulk of the two point blank beam attacks right before she could put up any defenses of her own, stumbling back on the water's surface as she tried to steady herself while Kii and Alabama helped her. Meanwhile, Strasser's vanguard ships moved in to pick up the slack.
"... Damn that really, really hurt...!"
"You alright, Jeanie?" Alabama quietly asked in concern.
"... Oui, oui. I'm fine. Thankfully, I managed to deflect a good chunk of the bitch's attack at the last second."
"Alright. Well, pull back and try to catch your breath, okay?" Kii half suggested, half demanded. "Seriously, that was too close.."
"...Sorry. And, thanks."
"... 's fine. Just leave the rest to us, kay?"
"Alabama-nee's right. We totally got this!"
Jean Bart could only weakly smile and nod as she reluctantly pulled back to the rear, clicking her tongue at how badly she messed up just now.
- With Peter Strasser's and the rest of Prinz Eugen's fleets -
"...That wasn't like Lady Jean Bart at all..." Belfast muttered.
"What, you mean forgoing her role in supporting us from the rear and just charging in at that Siren Elite like a damn fool, you mean?" Vampire bluntly replied after cutting down another pawn in her way.
The super maid nodded. "Yes, that. It was, quite out of character for her. Then again, seeing who our opponent is and how absolutely insufferable she's being, I can't exactly say I blame her for lashing out either, even if it wasn't the wisest move."
"Oh, don't let that calm, cool and collected mask fool you. Frau Jean is probably one of the most emotional sisters in the whole fleet," Eugen added, her characteristic smirk never leaving her beautiful face. At a glance, she seemed the same teasing and indifferent shipgirl she's always been but, looking at her eyes though, told a very different story. Inside, she was absolutely seething just as much, if not more, than Jean Bart was. 'Unfortunately at times like this I have to be the one to keep a cool head... Ah, it's tough being a responsible older sister sometimes.'
"Still, did that seriously mean that hse had to go off the handle like that though," Vampire chimed in.
"Sadly, I don't think it could've been helped this time. What with who we're stuck facing and how much she seems to love messing with us. Frankly, I'm amazed Frau Jean held on for as long as she did," Eugen said, a hint of resignation in her voice before quickly switching gears. "Right, that's enough of that girls. Let's focus on taking that sow down a peg or two then, ja?"
"Indeed!"
"Yes!"
Nodding, the three stepped up their offensive and coordinated their moves with Javelin, Ayanami and Laffey's already fierce assault while Akagi, and Taihou kept piling on wave after wave of attack drones along with with whatever skills could tip the battle in their favor while Strasser, for her part, decided to go the extra mile by activating her skills too.
'...!? Huh? My movements. They're slower? ...How?'
While she wasn't exactly moving around much to begin with, that didn't mean that Purifier wasn't doing any kind of dodging at all. No, the fact that she was dong so little moving around meant that she was actually that much more aware of any sort of changes that would take place, no matter how minute or insignificant they seemed. Still, in spite of all that, Purifier still couldn't help but feel overjoyed for some reason.
"Heh! Well, I don't know which one of you sneaky rats did this but that was a smart move slowing me down like that! Won't help narrow the obvious power gap between us, but hey. Gotta do what you gotta do, right?"
"Hmph! Just shut up you Siren jerk!" Javelin shouted, doing her absolute best to glare menacingly up at the smug, mecha riding Siren Elite... who only just laughed at the purplette's poor attempt at being intimidating... which did noting but come off as her pouting to Purifier.
"...Pfft! AHAHAHAHA! Oh, m, my sides! First the blonde airhead, then that drunk bunny and now you're pouting at me!? It, it's too much! Shit! If, ahaha, if this were any other situation, I'm sure I'd be defeated by the sheer cuteness of it all!"
"...Hey!" Naturally, all Javelin could do was indignantly pout some more, eliciting another round of the Siren Elite laughing at her.
"...Airhead? Does, does she mean Ayanami?" asked a genuine confused Ayanami while pointing at herself, head cutely tilted to the side.
"..." *glug, glug, glug*
Laffey just simply couldn't be bothered by it all as she whipped out another oxy-cola(?), from somewhere, and quickly chugged it down before firing her guns some more and prompting the others to do the same.
- With the 13th Fleet's shipgirls battling Tester -
"Well, if nothing else, you're all a fair bit tougher than that other Commander's shipgirls. tougher but not as fun to fight though," Tester commented as she deftly moved out of the way of Yorktown, Enterprise, and Hornet's airplanes while countering Baltimore, Bremerton, and San Francisco's direct assault and rigging fun fire.
"Huh, hey. I think that's, like, the first thing she's said to us the whole time we've been fighting!" Bremerton exclaimed, amazed that the silent and serious Siren powerhouse actually spoke.
"Oh, is that right? Sorry about that," Tester apologized. "You see, I have my hands full coordinating what's left of our forces and keeping my teammate over there from going too overboard with those other shipgirls. I'm really rather quite busy, you know."
Baltimore furrowed her brow at hearing this. "Wait, are you saying that you're holding back against us?"
"Against you? Not especially, no," Tester answered before thrusting her lance at Baltimore and blasing the others with beam cannon fire.
"So why hold back at all then? Whoa!" San Francisco asked as she weaved out of the way of the incoming beam fire and countering with her own guns, unable to understand just what the Sirens were thinking handicapping themselves like this when they clearly had the numbers and power advantage.
"It's like I said. You might be more powerful and experienced but those other shipgirls are more fun to mess with. That's all."
"...That's, kind of messed up. Are you some kind of sadist?" Bremerton asked, not sure how to feel about Tester's answer as she tried to break through her defenses while she was distracted.
Tester just shrugged before kicking Baltimore away and shutting down Bremerton's would be surprise attack while they were talking before firing off another barrage of her guns that hit her dead center while she was recovering.
*BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!*
"...Kuh! Dammit!"
"Not sure. Haven't thought about it. And does it even matter? We're Sirens, you're kansen. We're supposed to be fighting each other. That said, if we have do it anyway, isn't it only natural to want to get as much enjoyment out of the job as possible while we can? If that makes me a sadist, then oh well, I guess I am. At any rate, what about you lot? Willingly and repeatedly getting hurt trying to take on an enemy you know for a fact is stronger than you can only be called stupid... or masochistic. What? are you all a bunch of masochists then?"
"...Uh..." 'Crap! I did NOT expect her to turn that around on us..,' Bremerton though as she moved out of the way of another beam cannon attack, only to get grazed on the cheek as it broke through her shields.
"What are you doing fallin' for her word games Bremmy!?" San Francisco chastised as she lightly bonked her confused friend on the head. "Leave all that weird S&M stuff for the bedroom and just focus on kicking that blue haired bitch's ass, okay?"
"H, huh? Oh, yeah... Yo, you're right! Sorry about that Franny. She just sounded, I dunno..."
"It's fine, it's fine. Just ignore her from now on, 'kay?"
"Yeah. will do. Thanks, Franny!"
Nodding, the pair went to help out Baltimore, who somehow managed to get close enough to force Tester into a close quarters fight while being peppered by constant drone attacks that kept her from getting away. Right now was their best, if not only, chance to hit her with everything they had.

Meanwhile, as Liam and Yang's fleets engaged the two Siren Elites and worked to sink the massive number of mass production and humanoid Siren forces now that their encirclement was broken up, the two Commanders were doing their best to provide whatever support they could while thinking up ways to end the battle even one second sooner... or at least, make sure they still had a way to escape in one piece.
- Hyperion, bridge -
"Hm. So far, so good," Yang muttered as he took processed all of the battle data coming in on the large screen displaying the current state of the battle. 'Still. I don't understand why the Sirens even went through the trouble of setting all of this up in the first place. It just seems too obvious a trap, even for them.'
Two large diamond shaped blue icons representing the Hyperion and Liberty in center, with smaller blue diamonds representing their respective shipgirl and Rosenritter forces deployed and taking on the currently disorganized remaining Siren forces.
'Well, trap or not, over half of their forces have been taken care of by now, though there's still quite a few of them left. Frankly, if this keeps going we'll end up fighting a battle of attrition. And the sun's almost completely set too.'
"Admiral?" asked his ever reliable and devoted adjutant, Frederica Greenhill, as she set down another cup of tea (with some brandy mixed in). "Is everything alright?"
"... sigh. It's just, if things stay as they are, we're going to end up at a potentially serious disadvantage before too much longer. Time's not on our side and, unlike shipgirls, we humans don't have near limitless stamina..."
Frederica slowly nodded in understanding. "That's, true. Still, we should be able to finish off the other non-Elite Sirens before too much longer, no?"
Yang shook his head. "That's only because the two Siren Elites haven't actually gotten involved and seem more interested in our shipgirls. Remember what happened in Europa, when they actually got serious? Frankly, it's still crazy how wide the power gap is between them and other Siren types... and that's not even taking into account what those so called 'Arbiter' types could do. Even Executors, for as powerful as they are, aren't as ridiculous as them. Frankly, it's a wonder how humanity was even able to fight them off at all, much less win..."
"Is the situation really that bad, Admiral?"
Yang shrugged. "Honestly? I don't know. For now, all we can do is focus on dealing with what's in front of us."
- Liberty, bridge -
"...I don't like this," Lima quietly muttered under his breath as he observed the battle going on, paying extra attention to his and Admiral Yang's forces currently engaged with the two Siren Elites.
"Commander?" Metis asked, noticing Liam deep in thought.
"It's just, this whole thing feels too easy. I mean, it's hard to forget how powerful Sirens are once you see them up close, especially those Elites."
Processing Liam's answer for a bit, Metis was forced to nod and agree. "I hate to admit it, but all the present data certainly does back those thoughts up."
"Right? I mean, just one Elite was bad enough but two? Nah, I feel like just the two of them alone would be enough to fight off everyone here, nevermind the cannon fodder being here or not. I just don't understand what their end game is or why they're even here attacking us in the first place... Er, other then the usual Siren crap I guess," Lima groused as he scratched his head trying to make sense of what was even happening.
"Hmm. Then, perhaps their true goals lie elsewhere and not necessarily with us, perhaps?"
"Sure, but the issue is what those goals might be, assuming they really aren't just trying to randomly troll us, that is."
"Well, given our last encounter with them, I feel there's a very high chance they might be testing us, likely to collect data similar to why we decided to fight them."
"Well damn. If that's the case, we really need to hurry this up then huh."
Metis nodded. "Agreed. If we don't know or can't guess what they're up to, then the only course of action would be to try and finish things up as quickly as possible."
"Yeah, but the problem is whether or not we can..."
Just then, Sirius called out and got Liam and Metis' attention, noticing the alarm in her voice.
"Master! The last of the remaining mass production and Executor type Sirens have been successfully eliminated and our forces were starting to head over to reinforce the ones currently engaging the two Elite types... but, the instant they started moving, it seems the two Sirens increased their own combat power."
"Great. Just fucking great. And we can't support them with our ether cannons either. Not with our shipgirls so close like that... Alright, whatever! Enterprise, put me through to Admiral Yang!"
- Back with the battle with the Sirens Elites, just a moment earlier -
"... Oh hoh? Heh, looks like your friends actually managed to wipe out our forces! And in record time even! Good, good!" Purifier mockingly praised, much to the confusion of Eugen, Strasser, and Enterprise's groups... and also much to the slight annoyance of Tester shaking her head as her literally inhumanly beautiful golden yellow eyes seemed to glow with excitement at what was about to happen next. "Well then! Now that this slightly extended prologue is over and done with, what say we all move on to the main performance, hmm?"
Liam and Yang's shipgirls couldn't help but gulp hearing this. After all, they knew from firsthand experience just how strong Siren Elites could really be once they took things even remotely seriously.
"...Crap," San Francisco muttered as she got her rigging's guns ready.
"Yeah, double crap," Baltimore added.
But, before any of the shipgirls or Siren Elites could make the first move, a sudden deluge of artillery and waves of attack drone fire rained down on the two Siren Elites and causing the other shipgirls to quickly get out of the way.
- With the rest of Liam and Yang's shipgirls now safely out of the way -
"...Ooohhh! So loud and pretty...~! Like, boom, and sparkly~!"
"...Hmph. Eldridge's lightning is still cooler though...!"
"..." *glug, glug, glug*
Seeing the fruits of their labor hit the two Siren Elites, Anchorage and Eldridge were innocently captivated by the loud and flashy sight while Laffey, as nonplussed as ever, just quietly pulled out another oxy-cola(?) from, somewhere, and just waited for the smoke to clear, her guns primed and ready to charge at the first opportunity.
"...Are, are those three always like that? And where does the r, rabbit looking one keep pulling those out from?" quietly asked the small and shy violet eyed, dark brown haired Dragon Empery destroyer, Tai Yuan. "Um, and... do you think she'd give us some if we asked...?"
"Hey, hey! You want me to go ask then?" asked Tai Yuan's energetic, twintailed and auburn haired, blue eyed fellow Dragon Empery destroyer, Fu Shun. "Actually, a cold oxy-cola sounds super good right about now too! What about you, An Shan?"
"Not now, you two! The smoke's clearing up!"
- With Tester and Purifier -
With the last of smoke and steam finally clearing up, the two Siren Elites slowly took in the sight before them, with Purifier even whistling at the sight of having so many glaring shipgirls pointing their guns and weapons at them.
*whistle!* "What are the two of us gonna do with so many serious, hot and bothered gazes staring so intently on us? Really, all this attention from so many cuties is almost too much and is gonna make me so wet if they keep it up!" Purifier observed, licking her lips as her bright golden eyes flickered with mischief.
Tester just rolled her eyes at her friend(?)'s usual crass and vulgar attitude.
"What? You telling me that you aren't feeling even a little bit aroused having so many pretty little things focused so hard on you?"
"No, I don't. Besides, you don't even like women like that, shipgirl or otherwise."
"Aww~! Can't you just let me have my fun? God, you're such a killjoy, Testy!"
"One, we have a job to do. And two, they're shipgirls. They were never going to have any real interest in you or any other woman for that matter. You're perverse hobby of messing with people isn't going to work on them. If anything, you might've just pissed them off..."
"Hahahaha! Okay, okay. Welp, seeing as I can't get off trolling them, then... HOW ABOUT THIS!"
Raising her arm up into the air, a large sphere of bright, light blue and highly condensed ether quickly gathered above her outstretched palm.
'Oh, this is gonna be good!'
Once it was fully formed, Purifier swung her arm down until it and the bright ball of dense, plasma-like ether was pointed right at the confused mass of shipgirls... and launched her attack.
"...Bang~!"
- With the gathered fleet of shipgirls -
Seeing just what the mecha riding Siren Elite was doing, Bismarck's eyes widened as she called out to every shipgirl in the field over her comm line.
"Everyone, incoming wide area attack! Either dodge or put up a defensive field! NOW!"
At the same time she made this warning, she and the rest of Yang's 5th and 6th fleets spotted the other Siren Elite headed their way at rapid speed and moved to intercept her. At the same time, Yang's fleets began to move, Saratoga's and the rest of Liam's fleets sped off to take on the other Siren Elite just as Purifier launched her attack, leaving the others to defend or dodge before regrouping to support the others somehow.
"Here it comes!" Queen Elizabeth shouted as the countless beams of light shot out of the blue sphere, rapidly heading their way.
- Rear of the formation, Liberty -
"Shields up and evasive maneuvers!" Liam shouted as the three bridge maids worked feverishly to avoid the last of Purifier's high output energy attack, moving the ACSC to the left of the battlefield while Yang moved to the right in front of the retreating Rosenritter forces.
"Metis, how's it look out there?" Liam asked once they were safely out of the way of Purifier's attacks.
"Thankfully, so far no one's taken any heavy damage despite how sudden and dangerous the Siren's attack was," Metis reported after reestablishing her connection with the remaining observation drones that weren't blown away or destroyed throughout the course of the battle.
"And what about Admiral Yang and his forces? They were closer to the attack's line of fire and had to move slower while covering those Rosenritter guys. Are they okay?"
"I just confirmed their status," Sheffield answered from her console. "They took some damage and won't be able to deploy the Rosenritter anymore either. The Admiral also strongly suggested that we don't get directly involved in the battle any further."
"...Still, if we see a chance-any chance at all-we're gonna take it, so keep our ether cannons charged and on standby!"
Acknowledging their orders, the three bridge maids went about getting everything ready while moving the Liberty into the optimal firing position just in case they would have to act.
"...Are you sure about this, Commander?" Metis quietly asked so that only Liam could hear her.
After a moment of thought, Liam slowly nodded. "I am. And besides, it's not like we can retreat anyway. If anything, this is really the only move we can make, right?"
"...You, do have a point. With the Hyperion now out of commission for the time being, I really don't see any other alternatives either."
"Oh, right. Get me in touch with Archerfish and the rest of our submarines."
"Commander?"
"Well, it didn't really work last time, but maybe if we're the ones who get the timing down and decide when to attack, I think what they wanted to do last time would have a better chance of succeeding, yeah?"
"So you mean to use them to carry out a surprise attack against the Sirens?"
"Yeah, well that or stall them so we can all make a run for it if we need to."
"Alright. I can't really say it's the smartest move we can play since I doubt the enemy would fall for that trick a second time, but it's not like we have any other ideas to try either," Metis concluded with a shrug before going to contact the hyperactive little submarines.
- Back with the two Sirens currently engaging Liam and Yang's shipgirls -
n the space of a few several dozen or so meters on the water filled in with over fifty shipgirls bearing down on them, Tester and Purifier were having the time of their lives as they fought to collect even more data and make sure the shipgirls and their Commanders never figured out the real reasons they were here in this remote part of the Pacific.
"Hehe! These little bitches are something else, right Testy?"
"...Well, they aren't as annoying as those obnoxious and flirty Europan theater shipgirls anyway," Tester grumbled while kicking away Ning Hai and Ping Hai before blasting Hood and a few other shipgirls behind them.
"Eh, they weren't all bad. Well, not those weird pirate looking ones they worked with anyway. Their Commander seemed like a bit of a coward though, at least compared to these two and that Sardegnan loudmouth," Purifier replied while wearing a savage smile as she barely blocked Anchorage, Eldridge, and Laffey's fierce attacks while at the same time evading Strasser, Taihou, and Akagi's airplane shaped attack drones. Several minutes into the battle, however, the aircraft carriers had begun charging their attack drones with ether, turning them into makeshift ether bombs that would detonate on impact.
*BOOM! BOOM! BOOM1*
"Whoa there! Wait, bombs!? Hey, Testy! They're turning those plane looking things into bombs!"
"...Kuh! I know! Shit, that's annoying!" Tester cursed as several waves of explosions incessantly crashed against her ether shields with enough force to force her back and stop her advance. 'Dammit! They're using rotating wave tactics to keep up a consistent bombardment with hardly any gaps! And, even when there are any gaps...'
*CCCLLLLAAAANNNNGGGGG!*
Sparks flew and the sound of magically reinforced metal rang out when, just as her shield finally broke, Tester quickly pulled her lance in front of her in a high guard to block Izumo's incoming overhead, downwasrd nodachi slash fully aimed with the intent to bisect her down the middle.
"...HHHAAAAAHHHHH!"
"...Tch!"
Though caught off guard and very, very surprised by the sheer amount of strength and pressure the violet haired, oni of a battleship was putting behind her strike, Tester couldn't help but be impressed.
'She's strong. Very strong. And not simply because she's a shipgirl either... Ah, I see! She's one of them!' Tester, realizing who and what this shipgirl really was, called out to Purifier who, at some point ended up getting forced into melee combat herself. "Be careful! There are several kansen optimized specifically to fight Sirens here!"
"Yeah, no shit! Kinda figured that out when this giggling, big tiddied airhead started wailing on m-Ow! Agh, dammit!" spat out an irritated Purifier before getting punched in the face by a giggling Anchorage.
And, just like that, the two Siren Elites' realized that they weren't just outnumbered, but had several 'Siren Killers' mixed in the bunch too. But, before things could get any worse for them, the call they'd been waiting for finally arrived.
[Cluster 66 Observer to Operations Leader Tester: Primary objective of constructing front line bases for the upcoming invasion of the still resisting Sakura Empire and surrounding territories has been completed and are ready to begin transferring over forces, supplies, and large scale observation equipment for the large scale 'Enactment' experiments to begin within the next two to three weeks. Additionally, the secondary objective scans of the occupied and disputed Pacific Region territories has also finished up. And, just as conjectured, subtle trace amounts of 'META' type quantum signatures have been detected, though none match any known samples in our database. No evidence of any contact made with the humans yet either. Based on that and past records, they are likely observing the situation for now.]
Tester cracked another smile hearing the timely news.
[Operations Leader to Cluster 66 Observer: Report received. Good work. That said, Purifier and I will stick around here for a bit longer to collect a little more data and will begin retreating in minus five minutes.]
[Cluster 66 Observer to Operations Leader Tester: Acknowledged. In the meantime, I well begin the transfer and organization of forces and supplies from the occupied mainland territories.]
With that bit of very good news, the two Sirens couldn't help but feel reinvigorated. Sure things were looking a bit tough for them at the moment, but now that everything was ready for the upcoming 'Enactment' experiment, all that was left to do was tie up some loose ends and see if they could push these kansen just a little bit more and see what else they could do.

While the hectic battle between the two Siren Elites and shipgirls was taking place above them, Archerfish, Nautilus and Surcouf's submarine fleets had managed to get right underneath Tester and Purifier without being noticed thanks to a combination of their attention being focused on the battle going on around them and the heavy jamming still blanketing the area which, luckily for them, had thinned out just enough for a secure comm link with the Liberty to be established.
"Oh this is gonna be so much fun!" Archerfish squealed as she went over the plans Liam and Metis had come up with whoever the hell that other Commander was. "And we have the Commander leading us too, so there's no way we'll screw this up! Hah! That's right! This time, we'll show EVERYONE just what we submarines can really do!" '... And, since those scary big sisters will be in on it this time, they won't be able to blame us even if something does go bat shit sideways somehow! It's freakin' perfect! No, it's better than perfect! Just you wait you Siren gutter slunts! This time, we'll get our revenge and then some!'
