"Hey there! How are you doing? I hope everything's great on your end. I just wanted to apologize for taking so long to come up with the latest chapter for my story. I've been working tirelessly on it for the past week, making several revisions until I finally came up with this version. However, I must admit that it still needs some polishing before it's perfect. I know I left out some details about Janhoo's romance in this chapter, but I promise to make it up to you in the upcoming chapters. So, stay tuned for more updates!"

The following day...

The internet was abuzz with rumors about Jan Di and her new role as the face of the Yoon restaurant. The establishment was renowned for its exquisite Korean cuisine and dishes worldwide. To promote the restaurant, Jan Di and Ji Hoo appeared on billboards nationwide, advertising their specialty dish, Chicken Alfredo Pasta, a popular choice among customers.

The ads showcased the dish's delicious flavor and unique ingredients, highlighting the chefs' culinary skills at Yoon Restaurant.

In the spacious board room of Yoon Company, the young CEO and President, Ji Hoo, was seated among the seasoned gentlemen, who were senior to him in years and experience. One of the board members turned towards Ji Hoo, who was preoccupied with replaying a commercial while simultaneously feeding Jan Di a mouthful of food.

"Mr. Yoon," the board member addressed Ji Hoo, "why did you select this girl to be the face of your restaurant?"

Ji Hoo's face lit up with a smile as he replied, "She is my girlfriend." The board members were taken aback, their expressions registering surprise and shock.

Their curiosity piqued, and they probed further, "What about Mr. Han's daughter? She is also beautiful and talented and would make an excellent model for your restaurant."

Ji Hoo paused for a moment, considering their question, before responding, "Even though she's beautiful and talented, our ads wouldn't have had the natural feel that Jan Di exudes. I feel comfortable with her, and if I made these with Miss Han, the outcome would have been awkward."

"But…" they began to object…

"It has just been a day, and this ad has already gotten millions of likes." Ji Hoo interjected, emphasizing the success of their current ad campaign. "Jan Di's genuine charm and relatability have resonated with our audience. She's natural, her smile is genuine, and her appetite for the dish she enjoys makes everyone want to try it themselves."

The executives sitting in the conference room were hesitant to make a change. "But…" they began to object, "Miss Han has been our go-to spokesperson for years. She has a strong presence and a loyal following. Switching to Jan Di might alienate our existing customers and jeopardize our brand image."

Ji Hoo listened attentively to their concerns. He understood why they were hesitant to make the change. "I agree that Miss Han has been great for us, but sometimes change is necessary for growth. Jan Di brings a fresh perspective, and her social media following appeals to a younger demographic, which is the target audience we want to attract.

"Additionally, her enthusiasm and passion for the product are evident in every bite she takes. She can bring new excitement to our brand that we haven't seen before," Secretary Park said with a smile, supporting Ji Hoo's proposal.

Ji Hoo nodded, pleased with the support he was getting. "Exactly. We need to keep up with the changing times and trends. Jan Di's influence and relatability with the younger generation can help us achieve that. Trust me; this will be a good move for my restaurant."

F4 Lounge

Woo Bin and Yi Jeong were having a passionate discussion about the latest update at Ji Hoo's restaurant when they stumbled upon a promotional video that left them completely astonished. "I can't believe my eyes," Woo Bin gasped. "Is that Jan Di? And why is she the face of Ji Hoo's restaurant?"

As they watched the video, they were struck by the effortless on-screen chemistry between Ji Hoo and Jan Di. "Wow, these two are a match made in heaven," Yi Jeong remarked, impressed by the unexpected success of the mini-films. "Their expressions and body language convey a genuine enjoyment of the dish. No wonder people are going gaga over it!"

Woo Bin couldn't agree more. "It's like they were made for each other in front of the camera and behind the scenes," he said. "Their chemistry is so real that it's hard to believe it's not scripted. Look at how they share the juice - it's a small gesture but speaks volumes about their connection. They are so comfortable with each other that their energy is contagious."

Yi Jeong nodded in agreement. "Their natural chemistry makes this video such a hit," he said. "It's not just about the dish - the magic that happens when two people come together to create something special. I can't wait to see what Ji Hoo and Jan Di come up with next! But—"

"But what?" Woo Bin questioned his friend.

"It would have been better if it was with Jun Pyo."

Gu Mansion

As Jun Pyo sat comfortably in his bed, his eyes were glued to the television screen, flipping through various channels to pass the time. His grin grew wider as he thought about tomorrow's upcoming car race against his longtime friend, Ji Hoo. However, despite his excitement, a twinge of guilt gnawed at him, knowing that Ji Hoo had a traumatic past related to cars. The memory of Ji Hoo's parents' car accident when he was young still haunted him to this day, and Jun Pyo couldn't help but feel sympathy for his best friend who was still hurting inside. The conflicting emotions inside Jun Pyo made him wonder if he should have been more sensitive towards Ji Hoo's feelings. Jun Pyo hoped Ji Hoo would forfeit the match, but he knew it wouldn't happen based on what he saw on TV.

Breaking News

"The new face of Yoon Restaurant is Geum Jan Di, who Yoon Ji Hoo claimed to be his girlfriend." The news reporter said as it captured Gu Jun Pyo's attention, turning on the volume of his television.

Gu Jun Pyo's face contorted in utter disbelief as he watched Geum Jan Di confidently posing for the camera alongside his best friend, Yoon Ji Hoo. The way they looked at each other was almost too romantic to bear. Gu Jun Pyo sat perched on the edge of his bed, his eyes fixated on the television screen as the reporter's voice echoed through the room, detailing every nuance and gesture of the two friends' interaction. Gu Jun Pyo's mind raced as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing, struggling to reconcile his feelings with the reality unfolding before him.

The reporter began by giving viewers a tour of the restaurant's stunning rooftop garden, one of the most unique features of the establishment. She started with the roses, showcasing their vibrant red and pink hues, then moved on to the lilies, which were in full bloom and emanated a pleasant fragrance that could practically be smelled through the screen. The camera then zoomed in on the fountain situated in the center of the garden, surrounded by lush greenery and elegant sculptures, adding to the garden's overall charm.

As the camera panned out, the viewers were treated to a breathtaking view of the city skyline, the buildings glimmering in the distance. The reporter's voice grew more animated as she described the sights and sounds of the rooftop garden, emphasizing the attention to detail and the restaurant's commitment to creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere for diners.

The viewers were left in awe of the restaurant's exquisite design and the beauty of nature that surrounded it, enhancing the dining experience and making it one to remember.

Gu Jun Pyo had been to his best friend's restaurant, and every time they were there, he would reserve the rooftop for the F4, but with this scenery, he only got to see it at night, and he had never seen it during the day.

Today is the second test: car racing against Gu Jun Pyo. He was nervous, and no matter how much advice Jan Di gave him, Ji Hoo couldn't shake off his fear of driving because every time he was in the car, memories of his dead parents would flood his mind. He had a driving license, but driving a car was the biggest and most significant thing he hated to do. It reminded him of the tragic accident that took his parents away from him, leaving a deep emotional scar that seemed impossible to heal, no matter how hard he tried. Seo Hyun's presence only eased the pain; the therapists he saw did nothing to alleviate his fear. Despite all the efforts he made to overcome his trauma, Ji Hoo still found himself paralyzed with anxiety whenever he sat behind the wheel. The mere thought of driving triggered a torrent of haunting memories, making it almost impossible for him to consider getting on the road.

In what way could she possibly have forgotten about it? Yi Jung and Woo Bin had told her she had returned to Ji Hoo's shoes a while ago. It had only been a few weeks since she had made the return.

He was traumatized by the accident, he lost his parents, and he suffered from a great deal of grief. The rule should have been changed because of this, but nobody had stepped in and made a statement about it. As a gesture of comfort for him, she had brought him something to eat at the racetrack as a courtesy to her boss, hoping to do so in some small way.

Jan Di felt mixed emotions as she learned how Ji Hoo had obtained his driving license, all because he didn't want to be embarrassed in front of Seo Hyun. She couldn't help but feel concerned for his well-being. "You should stop now," she advised him.

As she spoke, the sound of Jun Pyo racing around the track caught her attention. His speed was almost too fast for her eyes to keep up with.

Ji Hoo was puzzled by Jan Di's advice and asked, "Why must I stop?"

"There's no more value in going on," Jan Di explained. "Anyway, I didn't want to go to that school voluntarily."

Ji Hoo's response was unexpected. "Stay with me," he said with such natural ease. "I don't know if I can win, but… I'll try my best. Right now, I want to win."

Jan Di couldn't help but be surprised by his words. She had never seen him so determined before.

Ji Hoo noticed the container in Jan Di's hands as they spoke. "Aren't you going to give me that?" he asked, referring to the food she had brought.

Jan Di couldn't help but laugh at his eagerness. "Ah! Do you want some?" she asked, offering him the food.

Ji Hoo loved the food, but he didn't end up driving that afternoon. Jan Di was worried when she saw him leave and quickly formed a plan in her head. She decided to follow him and make sure he was okay.

"Ji Hoo-ah, I'm with you. Don't worry." Jan Di's voice echoed through his mind. "Fighting!"

"Jan Di-ah," he said, recalling the warmth of her smile and the comfort in her eyes. She was the breakthrough he had been waiting for over 15 years to finally go behind the wheel and overcome his fear of driving.

As Ji Hoo stepped out of the locker room, Yi Jeong approached him with a worried expression and asked, "Are you going to be, okay?" Ji Hoo responded faintly, appreciating his friend's concern, and asked, "Are you worried about me?" Yi Jeong replied, "I am," indicating his genuine concern for Ji Hoo.

However, Ji Hoo seemed slightly disappointed and said softly, "Then you should have defended me." As they walked towards the entrance, Yi Jeong followed closely behind him to show his support. They soon spotted Ga Eul and Jan Di waiting for them. Ga Eul, who seemed to be seeking help, asked Ji Hoo, "Ji Hoo Sunbae, do you have an ace?"

Despite the tense situation, Ji Hoo felt comforted knowing he had friends who cared about him. "An ace?" he murmured, his thoughts elsewhere. He noticed Jan Di looking at him with doe eyes, and his heart skipped a beat. As he turned around, he saw Gu Jun Pyo and Woo Bin going in opposite directions. But Gu Jun Pyo's gaze was fixed on him.

Ji Hoo replied without breaking eye contact with Jan Di, "I have one." He slowly lifted his hand to her face and delicately cupped her cheek. He started caressing her chin with his thumb and stopped on her lips.

His heart was racing as he leaned in closer to her. He could feel her breath on his face and closed his eyes, savoring the moment. He could hear Yi Jeong's trembling voice asking, "What are you up to, Yoon Ji Hoo?" He knew his friend was worried about Gu Jun Pyo's reaction, but he couldn't back down now.

Jan Di's lips were just inches away from his when he suddenly heard a loud commotion behind him. He reluctantly broke away from her and turned to see what was happening but didn't let go of Jan Di's face entirely.

Ji Hoo's mind was consumed by contemplation as he gazed intently at the girl before him. He had already declared his love for her, and his heart was filled with affection. Finally, their lips met in a passionate embrace, which felt like an eternity before they separated.

Ji Hoo's kisses had an enchanting quality to them. Each kiss ignited a spark within her, sending pleasurable shivers down her spine. She had initially planned on keeping track of every kiss they shared, but she soon lost count as each kiss was unique and special.

Initially, Jan Di was apprehensive, unsure of what to expect. However, the warmth of Ji Hoo's kiss reassured her and eased her fears. She wanted to resist the pull of his lips, but they had an irresistible quality that drew her closer, making her lose herself in the moment. She could not pull away and surrendered to the sensation, wrapping her arms around his neck and drawing him closer to her.

As Ji Hoo felt Jan Di's arms wrapping around his neck, he was filled with an intense desire to kiss her, so he dropped his helmet and kissed her passionately. Their lips locked together in a fiery embrace, and he didn't hesitate to deepen the kiss until they needed to come up for air.

After a few moments, Ji Hoo drew back and rested his forehead against Jan Di's, his eyes closed in bliss. "I think I should go," he whispered, reluctantly pulling away from her. He kissed her on the cheeks and turned away, his heart heavy with longing.

Jan Di softly gripped his hand before releasing him, watching him as he walked away. She felt sad, but she knew their love was worth fighting for. It didn't matter to her if they won or lost the battle; what mattered was that Ji Hoo was safe and they were together in their hearts.

"Sunbae, please be safe for us," she whispered into the wind, sending her love and prayers with him as he disappeared from view.

Ji Hoo got into his car. He looked up to find Jan Di and Ga Eul cheering for him from the balcony. 'I'll drive for you,' he thought as he looked at her.

He got into his car and took the wheel. He took a long breath in and out. He heard his phone vibrate, suggesting a text message from Jan Di.

Ga Eul looked over at her best friend, who tightly closed her eyes. "Jan Di-ah, if you're worried, send him a message."

"Oh, Ga Eul," she exclaimed, "why hadn't I thought of that?"

Jan Di eagerly pulled out her sleek, brand-new iPhone from her pocket. With a bright smile, she remembered how Ji Hoo had gifted it to her and even took the time to teach her how to use it.

Ga Eul's eyes widened in awe as she caught sight of the stunning device. "Oh my goodness, Jan Di-ah, is that the latest iPhone model that Ji Hoo Sunbae gave you?" she exclaimed, admiring the phone's elegant design. "And is that a love band bracelet? Does it connect to both of your phones?"

Jan Di beamed with pride and excitement as she confirmed Ga Eul's suspicions. "Yes, it is!" she exclaimed. She couldn't help but recall the emotional moment when Ji Hoo had given her the gift, right after Jun Pyo had declared their expulsion from school.

"Jan Di-ah: I believe in you and know you can make a difference for us," the text from Jan Di read.

Ji Hoo read the message with a genuine smile, feeling motivated and determined to win the upcoming car race for them, no matter what it took.

Gu Jun Pyo's eyes blazed with anger as he glared to his right, where Ji Hoo's car was parked. Jun Pyo was in the driver's seat, his hands gripping the wheel tightly as he waited for the referee's signal. He was determined to prove himself as the best driver on the track.

The air was thick with excitement as the two cars revved up their engines, their mighty roars echoing through the surrounding area. Ji Hoo and Jun Pyo were determined to come out on top, their competitive spirits fueling them to push their vehicles to the limit. When the whistle blew, they accelerated at a dizzying pace, leaving behind a trail of dust as they zoomed down the track. The race was on, and it was intense!

Ji Hoo and Jun Pyo were neck and neck, expertly maneuvering through sharp turns and tricky corners. The energy was electric, and the excitement was palpable as they raced towards the finish line, leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of victory. But then, out of nowhere, Jun Pyo's mind was clouded with a memory of Ji Hoo and Jan Di sharing a kiss. His focus momentarily faltered, allowing Ji Hoo to surge ahead and take the lead.

The race was far from over, and both drivers gave it their all, determined to be crowned the ultimate winner. Ji Hoo knew Jun Pyo was hurting, but he needed to give it his all to fight for Jan Di's rights. In the end, the day had come to an end, and Ji Hoo had won the race. He exited his car to find Jan Di and her best friend waiting for him.

'I finally drove for you, Jan Di,' he thought as he looked at her.

Jan Di could feel her heart beating rapidly as she stood there, waiting for Ji Hoo to leave the car. As he stepped out, her face lit up with a smile. "Sunbae!" she squealed, running towards him with open arms. She felt his arms wrap around her, pulling her close, and she couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness. She hugged him tightly, feeling his warmth and the steady beat of his heart against her own.

"Jan Di-ah," he said softly, his eyes shining happily. "I did it."

Jan Di pulled back slightly, looking up at him with admiration and pride. "I am so proud of you," she said, her voice filled with emotion. "You worked so hard for this."

Ji Hoo's smile widened, and he leaned in to press his lips against hers. It was a gentle kiss filled with tenderness and love, and Jan Di felt her heart soar with joy. At that moment, nothing else mattered but the two wrapped up in each other's arms.

As their lips met, the world around them seemed to fade away. The kiss was unhurried and tender, filled with a sweetness that grew stronger with each passing moment. He was a master of kissing, his lips moving gracefully across her face. She felt his tongue brush gently against her bottom lip, and a shiver ran down her spine. She was drawn to him like a moth to a flame and surrendered herself to the moment. Their kiss lingered for an eternity until they finally pulled away, gasping for air. Time seemed to stand still as they looked into each other's eyes, knowing this was just the beginning of something exceptional.

Jan Di's cheeks flushed as she recoiled from Ji Hoo's kiss in front of their peers. She felt embarrassed and self-conscious, aware that classmates and the F3 were watching them.

Ji Hoo, however, seemed unfazed by the public display of affection. As he lifted her chin and looked into her eyes, he traced his forefinger delicately against her lower lip. "Did I do something wrong?" he asked, his voice soft and gentle.

Jan Di shook her head, feeling overwhelmed by the intensity of his gaze. "No, but we're in public," she replied nervously.

Ji Hoo sighed and pulled her closer, his arms wrapped tightly around her waist. "I'm sorry," he said softly. "My emotions got the best of me."

Jan Di leaned into his embrace, feeling a mix of emotions—embarrassment, excitement, and confusion—all at once. "I forgive you," she whispered. "And I hope you forgive me for allowing it to happen."

Ji Hoo nodded, and for a moment, they stood there in silence, lost in their thoughts. It wasn't until Ji Hoo looked to his side and noticed the F3 staring at him that they both realized they were still in a crowded place.

Jun Pyo and the F2 stood on the sidelines, watching Ji Hoo and Jan Di as they kissed tenderly. The group exchanged subtle glances, their eyes conveying their happiness for their friends. Jun Pyo, however, was wearing a frown on his face, feeling a mix of jealousy and longing as he watched Jan Di be happy with someone else. He knew deep down that she was never his, to begin with.

As the group continued to watch Ji Hoo and Jan Di, Yi Jeong broke the silence by commenting on Jan Di's positive influence on those around her. "Ji Hoo would never have driven the car if it hadn't been for Jan Di," he remarked. "She has a way of bringing out the best in people."

Woo Bin nodded in agreement and added, "It's clear that Ji Hoo cares deeply for her. I'm amazed at how he overcame his trauma from the accident years ago. Love has the power to heal even the deepest wounds."

Jun Pyo, unable to bear the sight any longer, walked away with a scoff. The F2 exchanged a knowing look as Jun Pyo left.

"Can you believe a monkey can fall from a tree?" Yi Jeong whispered to Woo Bin, referring to Jun Pyo's ego.

Woo Bin chuckled in response and said, "I guess miracles do happen."

"He was bragging about his victory this morning," Yi Jeong added, referring to Jun Pyo's boasting about his race victory.

Ga Eul's eyes lit up as she excitedly suggested, "Let's celebrate!"

Ji Hoo smiled and replied, "All right, but it's my treat."

"Why?" the girls asked in unison, curious about his sudden generosity.

"For you, Jan Di-ah, my wonder girl," he said, his voice filled with admiration. "You gave me the courage to face my fear without criticizing me." He pulled Jan Di closer to him, enveloping her in a warm embrace. "Gomawo," he whispered, expressing his gratitude for her unwavering support.

Jan Di blushed as she leaned in to kiss Ji Hoo's cheek. "You're welcome," she said with a smile, feeling happy and content in his arms.

"But we need to find out about the last test."

"Yes."

The group had returned to the Gu mansion, and Jun Hee held a small piece of paper in her hand. She explained to everyone that it was Jan Di's ball, and this piece of paper contained the instructions for the next activity. With gentle hands, she extracted the small piece of paper from the hole and slowly unfolded it, revealing the next task for the group to undertake.

As she read the instructions, she gasped, and everyone turned to look at her, except for Jan Di and Ji Hoo, who already knew what was coming. But the rest of the group was shocked by what they had heard—swimming was the next activity.

However, Gu Jun Pyo was not happy with this activity. He immediately yelled that he was not going to do it and snatched the small piece of paper from Jun Hee's grasp before tossing it to the ground in frustration. He then accused Jan Di of setting him up, but she ignored his outburst.

"If you don't, you will automatically lose," his sister warned.

Yi Jeong said, "I can do it for him," and nominated himself. "Instead of Jun Pyo, I will swim in his place." I won't let Ji Hoo off the hook for taking what isn't his."

They put the suggestion up for a vote.

"If you agree, raise your hand," Jun Hee said, raising her own. Jun Pyo was the first, followed by Woo Bin, and Jan Di stopped Ji Hoo from raising it.

"I disagree for several reasons, the first of which is that I am not a thing to belong to anyone," she said coldly to Yi Jeong. She then focused on Woo Bin, Jun Hee, and Jun Pyo.

"Secondly, I am opposed to Yi Jeong nominating himself."

"Yah! Jan Geum Di." Jun Pyo was enraged, but she was unconcerned.

"How can he nominate himself?" She expressed her dissatisfaction with Jun Hee and Woo Bin. "Does it have anything to do with his inability to swim?" She pointed to Gu Jun Pyo. "You will let him off the hook because of his past trauma. Because I'm telling you," she said to Jun Pyo, "you're a coward who won't face your fears."

Ji Hoo stood up and said, "Jan Di-ah."

"When it came time for the car race, none of you nominated to take his place," she said, pointing to Ji Hoo, "but now you want him to have the easy way out."

"It's not having an easy way out, Ji Hoo stole..."

"I'd like to remind you that I'm not a toy you own," she said to Jun Pyo. Jan Di cut off Yi Jeong. "And if he wants to win me, he will have to do it, or he will forever be a coward," she stated emphatically.

"You-!" Jun Pyo began to speak, but Jan Di cut him off before he could finish.

"You believe the entire world revolves around you, so when you say no, everyone has to obey your orders." You forced your way into my life despite my protests..."

"How about Ji Hoo and Jan Di-ah spend a night locked in a room?" Woo Bin suggested. Woo Bin's suggestion caught everyone's attention, causing a momentary silence. Jan Di's eyes widened as she exchanged a surprised glance with Ji Hoo, unsure how to respond.

"Yes," Jun Hee said. "If they love each other, as they said, then spending a night locked in a room could test their feelings and commitment." Everyone turned to Jun Hee, intrigued by her perspective. Ji Hoo and Jan Di exchanged glances, realizing that this suggestion might reveal the actual depth of their emotions for each other.

"NO!" Jun Pyo objected.

"Then you have to swim," Jun-Hee said.

"Miss Jun-Hee," Jan Di said softly.

"Jan Di, you can call me Uniee..."

"No need," she rejected bluntly. Jan Di's response made it clear that she preferred maintaining a formal relationship with Jun-Hee, indicating a certain level of discomfort or distance between them. "May I be permitted to say a few words before Sunbae and I go to that room?"

Everyone in the mansion fell silent. Apart from Ji Hoo, everyone seemed surprised at her soft yet firm voice, reflecting a sense of determination. "During the time Ji Hoo has been competing with Jun Pyo, I have been thinking about what sort of man Gu Jun Pyo might be. I knew he was this toxic man, but behind that was this humble understanding, and even if he were perfect, he wouldn't exhibit this behavior." She continued, "I have realized there is more to Gu Jun Pyo than meets the eye. Despite his flaws, he has shown moments of vulnerability and growth that have challenged my initial perception of him. But right now, I see a selfish brat who seems incapable of change, and more so when his sister is defending him with his selfish actions under the disguise of testing to help the friendship with his best friend not to break."

"Jan Di-ah," Jun-Hee said, gently taking Jan Di's hand. "I understand your frustration with Gu Jun Pyo's behavior, and I am sorry for covering up for him-"

"I'm not done yet," Jan Di interrupted, pushing her hand away and continuing, "You, Gu Jun Pyo, Woo Bin, and Yi Jeong find it very hard that I chose Ji Hoo over Jun Pyo. Why is that? Why is it so difficult for you to accept that I have made a different choice?"

The others exchanged glances, unsure of how to respond. Finally, Woo Bin spoke up, "Jan Di, it's not that we can't accept your choice. We worry about Ji Hoo's intentions and whether he truly cares for you like Jun Pyo does." Jan Di crossed her arms, her expression defiant. "So you are saying Ji Hoo doesn't love me. as much as Jun Pyo does?"

"Yes," Jun-Hee replied. "Ji Hoo is a good boy, but..."

"But what, Noona?" Ji Hoo spoke. "Have you organized the room where I will spend a night with Jan Di-ah?"

"Sure, we can organize the room for you two. But that doesn't change our concerns about your feelings for Jan Di."

"I have to say that when it comes to friends and family...Ji Hoo..." Jan Di spoke, taking his hands. "You chose the most selfish family in the entire world."

"What!" Yi Jeong and Jun Pyo rose from the couch in shock. "How can you say that about us?" Yi Jeong exclaimed. "We've always been there for you, Ji Hoo."

"But none of you nominated yourselves when you knew he couldn't drive, but for Gu Jun Pyo, when it's time for swimming, you nominated yourself without a second thought, and that wasn't fair at all." Jan Di's words hung in the air, causing a tense silence to settle over the room. "Ji Hoo has a kind soul where he will hide his pain from all of you to make you happy, and yet you couldn't even consider his feelings when it came to something as simple as driving. It's disappointing to see how easily you all turned your backs on him."

The room remained silent, the weight of Jan Di's words sinking in.

Ji Hoo and Jan Di were strangers sharing a bed, but this night felt different. As they settled into the plush comfort of their guest room, Jan Di's senses were heightened by the unfamiliar surroundings. She was keenly aware of her femininity and the closeness she would share with Ji Hoo.

As she prepared for bed, Jan Di couldn't help but admire the beautiful decor of their room. The soft, muted colors and elegant furniture created a cozy and luxurious atmosphere, inviting them to relax and unwind after a long day. She appreciated the attention to detail, from the silky sheets to the fluffy pillows, which ensured a comfortable and restful sleep.

Ji Hoo stepped out of the bathroom, his skin glistening with water droplets and his hair still damp from the shower. Jan Di's breath caught in her throat as she gazed at him, her heart beating faster with each passing second. He was wrapped in a white towel that hung low on his hips, revealing the toned muscles of his stomach and chest. She couldn't help but admire his physique, and the sight of him sent a thrill of anticipation coursing through her body.

Ji Hoo noticed Jan Di's reaction and a small smile played on his lips. He walked towards her, his eyes locked with hers, and whispered, "I hope you're ready for a night of unforgettable dreams." The air between them crackled with electricity as they both knew that this moment would be the start of something extraordinary.

"What…what is so special about tonight?" She asked nervously.

"We are about to break all limitations and soar beyond our wildest dreams."

Ji Hoo had closed the distance between them and was hovering over her now. And she was staring up at him, doe-eyed—with her mouth hung open—while he looked down upon her. He placed one hand on each side of her on the bed and leaned down. His breathing had escalated, and there was a look in his eyes that she had never seen before…

And then his hands went under the pillow, removing a sealed pack of condoms.

Jan Di swallowed hard upon seeing the pack of condoms. Her heart raced as she realized the implications of Ji Hoo's actions. It was a moment that made her question their relationship and what it could become.

She should question him, shouldn't she? She should call him out for his utterly outrageous comment, but she…just…couldn't… She had no retort—all she could do was stare back into his dark eyes, wondering what this new emotion she saw behind them.

After several seconds passed, she shook her head rapidly. "Well, that is… I mean… It's you…and me, and we're not… There's nothing…," she stammered. "I mean, we slept together before…and…"

He waited for her to come out with it, knowing that whatever this new emotion was, it was something she saw behind them.

Finally, she mustered a timid, "St-stop joking around, Sunbae…," and she gave him a light shove on the arm. "It's too early for that…"

"I'm not joking," he replied in complete seriousness.

Her eyes grew wider. "S-sunbae…" she uttered in astonishment.

And then she fell silent once more…

Ji Hoo tightened his mouth, and there was sadness in his eyes. "Is it so ridiculous, Jan Di-ah—the idea of you and me going all the way?"

Her head shouted, 'Yes, it is!' Had he forgotten all about what they discussed?! It was so strange… But stranger still was that she was not reminding him of the obvious—that she wanted to wait, but nowadays, waiting seemed the most challenging thing ever.

She should remind him, shouldn't she? Yet her lips still spoke nothing.

The intense look on Ji Hoo's face softened, and he gently spoke her name, "Jan Di-ah…"

She blinked a few times in response. And then she shrunk back on her knees upon the bed, gripping the sheets between her fists and wondering what had come over him—and what he planned to do… It was both terrifying and a little bit exciting, somehow.

All rationality had flown out of her head like a frantic bird. Her chest was rising and falling heavily, and she was just staring at him like a fool…

It was then that Ji Hoo kissed her.

But it wasn't like the kisses they had been sharing recently—this one was much more intense as if a dam had broken and the powerful force behind it was bursting uncontrollably.

Ji Hoo took her face and pressed his lips to hers. Her eyes widened at first touch but then fluttered shut… as she surrendered to the overwhelming surge of emotions coursing through her. The world around them faded away, preceding the fact that Jun Pyo was there at the door of their room, hoping for them to come out, but they never did. They were lost in their little world, oblivious to the outside world and the expectations of Jun Pyo.

After a few seconds, his lips parted slightly, and he deepened the kiss. One of his hands ventured to her hair, while the other found its way down her neck and rested behind it, gently pulling her closer, tearing off her nightgown, and revealing her bare skin underneath.

Then, her fingers found their way to his robe and curled into it. Her hands slid upward and settled on his neck.

After their lips left each other, he wrapped his arms tight around her waist. She sighed and rose on her knees, hugging him around his neck. She buried her face into the crook of his neck and murmured, "Sunbae…" against it.

"It's Ji Hoo," he whispered, his voice filled with longing and affection. "Your Oppa... remember."

Without any attempts at conversation, he cupped her face tenderly with his hands and kissed her lips. He ran his hands down her arms and to her waist and turned her face away. His hands grazed her stomach and rested on her waist as he began to kiss the back of her neck. He trailed kisses down her neck, which she seemed to enjoy immensely, and then he moved to her shoulder, ensuring that he gave attention to each spot along the course.

He'd feared losing control and letting his passion run wild, but his intense love for her was enough to temper that. He treated her gently, taking plenty of time to ensure that she felt comfortable and, above all, loved. Knowing full well that he was the first and would be the only man to be with her pleased him greatly, but at the same time, he wrestled with being the one to take something so precious away from her. He decided to make his peace with it. He moved slowly, almost methodically, with her but still checked on her throughout.

She could tell that he knew what he was doing. She supposed it was good that one of them did, but she tried not to overthink about where his skill could have come from. She decided to tell herself that it was all natural. She could also tell he was holding back with her, which she didn't want. He asked her if she was OK and if he should continue, and she reassured him patiently. The next time he checked on her, she responded with a passionate kiss, which shut him up quickly.

He noticed a hint of the same fiery quality in her that night that he'd seen when she first confronted Jun Pyo. He had to remind himself that, though Jan Di was pure and innocent, she did not break so easily. His wonder girl, his lotus, transformed into a beautiful tigress before his eyes that night, and he, in turn, succumbed and allowed himself to be completely free with her. And it felt utterly natural, entirely correct. It had indeed been more perfect than had imagined.

A low moan escaped his lips, and he shifted her underneath him until his body covered hers. He could feel her rapid heartbeat against his chest as he held her tightly, seeking solace in their intimate embrace. With a gentle touch, he brushed away the tears that stained her cheeks, whispering soothing words of comfort in her ear.

The next morning

Jan Di couldn't take her eyes off him lying there beside her. She was content to stare at him for hours, admiring the peaceful expression on his face as he slept. But then she became acutely aware of her appearance. She must look like a mess, she thought to herself. She knew that he held no illusions about her being perfect, but she wanted to give him at least a nice image to wake up to for this morning. She quietly slipped out of bed, careful not to wake him, and went to the bathroom. As she walked, she stole one last glance at him, his eyes still closed. In the bathroom, she carefully brushed her teeth and ran her fingers through her hair, trying to tame the wild tangles that had formed during the night. She wanted to do her best for him, even if it was just for a few moments before they resumed their regular daily routines.

Jan Di tiptoed out of the bathroom, careful not to make a sound. She closed the door and let out a small sigh of relief. She quietly returned to the bedroom, where Ji Hoo was still sound asleep. As she approached the bed, her eyes fell on his shirt on the chair. She hesitated for a moment, then decided to slip it on. Standing before the bed, she couldn't help but feel a sense of vulnerability. She bit her lip, lost in thought, trying to figure out what to do next.

She felt a warm breath on her neck and turned to see him standing behind her. His voice was low and husky, filled with affection and amusement. With a quick motion, he grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled her back into bed, pressing her body against his chest. She gasped as he wrapped his arms tightly around her, feeling safe and secure in his embrace. They were so close that their faces were just inches apart, and he whispered a loving "Good morning" before kissing her nose. She smiled in response, feeling her cheeks flush with happiness as she glanced to the side.

"Good morning, Sunbae…

The two lovers lay in bed, enjoying the warmth of each other's embrace. He leaned over and whispered in her ear, "Are you being shy?" before kissing her forehead softly. She blushed and smiled up at him, finding his affectionate gesture adorable.

As he loosened his grip, she snuggled closer to him, finding comfort in the crook of his arm with her head resting on his chest. His gaze was warm and affectionate as he looked down at her, a smile slowly forming on his lips. However, his raised eyebrow and suspicious tone betrayed his curiosity. "Why were you sneaking around?" he asked teasingly, though the smile still lingered on his face.

She chuckled nervously, trying to come up with a plausible excuse, "I didn't want to wake you up. You looked so peaceful sleeping."

His smile widened at her response, and he pulled her even closer, his lips finding hers in a gentle kiss. The sensation of his lips on hers sent a shiver down her spine, and she closed her eyes, savoring the moment. He ran his fingers through her hair, his touch sending pleasant tingles all over her body. As they parted, he sighed contentedly and asked, "How are you doing?"

She opened her eyes, beaming up at him, "I'm perfect. Being here with you is all I need."

He took her hand in his, interlocking their fingers, and kissed it softly. "Does it hurt?" he asked, his voice laced with concern. "Was I too rough?"

She shook her head, smiling reassuringly, "No, I'm fine. You were perfect. I'm just happy to be here with you, in your arms."

Ji Hoo expressed his gratitude towards Noona for allowing them to spend the night together. He wrapped his arms around Jan Di and said, "I think I should really thank Noona later. We are here, together, right now, and it feels amazing." Jan Di smiled back and replied, "Yes, we are lucky that Noona locked us in this room. Otherwise, we wouldn't have had this opportunity to be together like this."

Ji Hoo chuckled and intertwined his fingers with Jan Di's. "It's strange how fate works sometimes, bringing us closer in unexpected ways," he said softly. Jan Di nodded in agreement, feeling grateful for the chance to deepen their connection amidst the circumstances.

As they basked in the warmth of each other's embrace, Ji Hoo suddenly asked, "But do you think we are going to have that swimming trial tomorrow?" Jan Di looked up at him, her eyes shining with anticipation. "I hope so," she replied with a smile. "I can't wait to see you in action, Ji Hoo."

"Me too."
