After getting coffee, David, Julie and Marcus left the museum to talk. "It was incredible what they did. I mean, they literally trekked thousands of miles across numerous cities and fields, all with a single alien trailing them all the way from the camp. They were like the ultimate juvenile hero team." Marcus explained. "Wow, you are quite the Rim of the World expert." Julie said. "Yeah, I should be. I've been writing my dissertation on that movie for 4 years." Marcus said. David and Julie were surprised to hear that. "4 years? You've been working on 1 paper for 4 years? That could drive me crazy." David said. "It'd sure drive me crazy." Julie said. "Actually, it's more like a 900-page book." Marcus said. "Oh, that makes more sense." Julie said. "So, what's your story? You 2 always wanted to be security guards?" Marcus asked. David let out a playful cough. "Oh, I didn't mean to…" Marcus tried to apologize. "No, no, no. No, uh, me and Julie have been together since we were 14 and we have a 9-year-old-daughter." David explained. "Yeah, so we needed to find a more steady situation to support for her." Julie said. "Got it. So, what can I tell you 2 about the museum?" Marcus asked. "Okay, the Wolfman from 2010. What's his deal?" David asked. "Lawerence Talbot, son of Sir John Talbot. He was a Shakespearian actor until he was brought back to his home by his late brother's fiancé, Gwen Conliffe." Marcus explained.
Later, David and Julie were at the library, looking through books and novels based off the Wolfman. "Was believed to be delusional after witnessing his mother's 'self-mutilation.' After being attacked by the beast, he began his reign of terror among Blackmoor." Julie read aloud. "Among the third night of his curse, after slaughtering his own father, Gwen shot through his heart with a silver bullet with love. But not before his curse was passed to Francis Aberline." David read aloud. After finishing the book, as David put it down, Julie sighed tiredly, checking the time on her phone.
Throughout the rest of the day, David and Julie spent hours watching movies, tv shows and video game walkthroughs online. They currently watched Big Hero 6, getting a lot of information on Baymax. Then they switched to The Addams Family, learning much about this unusual dark-dwelling family as they drank their coffee. After watching the Spinda episode on Pokémon, they switched to the High & Low movies. As they watched, they turned their attention to a picture of them and Amanda. "I know, baby. This is why we're doing this." Julie said. "Then let's learn what we can and get ready." David said as they went back to the movie.
Later, David and Julie packed some essentials in Amanda's sports bag. "Is that everything?" David asked. "Wait. One more thing." Julie said. She walked over to a shelf and grabbed a lighter given to her by her late grandfather. After putting on their jackets and checking the time, they zipped up the bag and headed out.
After arriving at the museum, they got dressed in their uniforms and got their flashlights. "David? Julie?" Victoria called as she and her friends walked in. "Just wanted to say good luck." She said. "And goodbye. We're clocking out for the last time." Jaheem said. "If you're ever in Boca, look us up." Victoria said. "Whoa, wait, you guys are going out of town?" Julie asked. "What if this doesn't work out?" David asked. "Smart kids like you? You'll be fine." Jaheem assured. "Yeah. We'll just be a phone call away. Come on, walk us out." Victoria said as she, David, Julie, Buzz and Jaheem started walking out. "Oh. You guys go ahead. I, uh…I, I, I, I need a moment." Patricia said, feeling a bit down. "She's very emotional. Lot of memories in this room." Victoria said. As soon as they left, Patricia opened David's locker and fished into his pocket for his keys. She then brought out a container of silicone mold and made a mold of David's house key.
