Back at Jack's house, Ryan and Johan were in the living room when Jack and his friends appeared out of the couch's shadow.
"I really need to practice teleporting with more people," said Jack as he laid on his back looking up at the ceiling and breathing heavily.
"What happened?" asked Ryan.
"His father sent a goon squad after me!" said Jack while pointing at Johan.
"And when I told them I wasn't going with them to see Mr. Song, they drew their guns on us right in front of all the humans in the area," he said while starting to stand and heading around to sit on the couch.
"Ah, I can't believe things have actually taken this turn," said Johan.
"Will someone please tell us what is going on here?!" asked Zoe who was looking slightly terrified but at the same time angered.
"They're already involved so you can tell them," said Ryan.
"Short version is that my dad's side is made up of monsters and he took over the Association, an organization which keeps monsters in check, thanks to me," said Jack.
"And now other monsters are after me in order to change things back to how they were originally," he said.
"What kind of dream is this?" asked Zeke.
"Trust me, I wish it was," said Jack.
"If you're a monster, then what kind are you?" asked Zoe who looked more interested than scared or concerned now that she had heard what Jack had to say.
"A demon," said Jack before transforming to reveal horns, wings, and a pointed tail which swayed behind him. His eyes had also turned pitch black again like they had earlier when the men pulled out their weapons.
"Cool," said Zoe who almost had sparkles in her eyes as she looked at him.
"Can we focus for a minute?!" asked Johan.
"We all need to get somewhere safe before a team shows up here, who knows what they will do to get to him?" he asked while motioning to Jack.
"Too late, I can smell them coming up both the stairs and elevator," said Ryan.
"I warned them what would happen," said Jack with a raged filled expression.
