A few weeks have gone by, Sonica and sonic were getting along perfectly. So well, in fact Tails started to suspect that Sonic didn't want to hang out with him anymore. And this bothered him. One day, while he was working in his workshop, someone came up behind him.

Tails: I guess you finally decided to hang out, huh Sonic?

Shadow: Tails, I'm not Sonic.

Tails turned around in his seat and realized that it was Shadow behind him.

Tails: Oh, hey, Shadow. Sorry.

Shadow: Is something wrong?

Tails: What? N-No. Everything's fine.

Shadow: Tails, you know that's not gonna work on me.

Tails: [sighs] It's Sonic. Ever since Sonica showed up, we haven't been able to hang out as much. I'm starting to think that he likes her more than me.

Shadow: Tails...

Before he could finish, they heard a loud boom from the distance.

Tails: What was that?

Shadow: Come on. Let's go find out.

They ran all the way into the forest until they found a portal at the end and a girl lying unconious on the floor. Exactly how Sonic found Sonica those few weeks ago. Tails walked over to her to get a closer look and he ws shocked.

Shadow: What is it?

Tails: She looks...just like me.

Tails knelt down to pick her up and carried her back to his place. Once Tails put the female fox in bed, he realized something on her leg.

Tails: Maybe we should get her some ice. It looks like she hurt her leg.

Shadow: Good thinking. I'll be right.

A few minutes later, Shadow came back with an ice pack and put it on the girl's leg being very careful not wake her up. Tails went to find Sonic so Shadow stayed at the house. About an hour later, the female fox finally woke up. Not recognizing where she was, she sat up quickly and started having a panic attack.

???: W-Wha? Where am I?! What is this place?!

Shadow: Don't worry. You're safe.

She turned around to look at Shadow but that just made her panic even more.

???: W-Who are you?! Did you kidnap me?! Get me out of here!

At that point, Shadow just pulled her into a hug and tried to calm her down.

Shadow: Hey, hey. Shhh...Shhh. It's alright. You're not kidnapped. You're just in my friend's house. We found you in the forest and brought you here. We just wanted to help you. What's your name by the way?

Tailsko: T-Tailsko. You?

Shadow: Shadow.

Tailsko: Well, thanks, Shadow.

Shadow: It's really no big deal.

That's when Tailsko suddenly started crying.

Tailsko: B-But still, I'm not used to new places. It's difficult for me to adapt to all this...this...

Shadow: I know I know. It's alright.

A few minutes later, Tails came back to find Tailsko sleeping on Shadow's chest fur while Shadow was still holding her.

Tails: Shadow? What happened?

While stroking her hair, Shadow explained how when Tailsko woke up, she started having a panic attack because she wasn't familar with the place. Tails was shocked. When he was done, Tailsko opened her eyes again.

Tails: Hey. Are you ok?

Tailsko: I-I'm fine. But w-who are you?

Tails: Um, I'm Tails. What's your name?

Tailsko: I-I'm Tailsko. It's n-nice to meet you, Tails.

Tails: You too.

The next day, Tails took Tailsko outside while covering her eyes. He had a little surprise for her.

Tails: Ok. We're almost there.

Tailsko: Tails, what is it?

Tails: I hope you don't mind, but I brought some friends over to meet you.

Tails removed his hands from Tailsko's eyes and Tailsko gasped when she saw who was standing in front of her. It was Sonic and Sonica.

Tailsko: S-Sonica?

Sonica: Tailsko?

The girls ran to one another and fell into each other's arms.

Tailsko: Sonica! I missed you so much.

Sonica: I missed you too, buddy.

Just then, Sonic walked over to Tails and pulled him into a hug too.

Tails: Sonic?

Sonic: Shadow explained everything to me. I had no idea I was avoiding you that much. I'm so sorry, Tails.

Tails: Sonic, don't worry about it. It's fine. I was just feeling a little left out when you started hanging out with Sonica.

Sonic: I know that now. We'll hang out more often from now on.
