Chapter 2: Winter Fun:

Frosty's POV:

Rudolph dropped me back in town. I then looked around. "Hey, Didi," I said.

"Frosty," asks Didi.

"I'm back," I said.

"How did you get here," asks Didi.

"Easy," I said, "I made friends with Rudolph. Now, let's have some fun!"

. . .

So, I started playing with the kids. We had so much fun, but I didn't realize I was being watched at the time.

Jack's POV:

I'm the one who made winter wonderful and there they are, playing with that snowman! Why do they love him?

"Are you okay, Jack," asks Snip.

"I'm fine," I said.

"Jack, you have that look in your eye," says Snip.

"I have to go now." I then flew away.

Snip's POV:

I spoke with Holly and Father Winter. "Ever since his heart was broken," I said, "Jack's caused different kinds of trouble! Remember the winter of 1880–1881?"

"How could I forget," asks Father Winter, "I helped create that because I did not realize how far Jack was making it go."

"It was centuries ago," says Holly, "can't he just let that Sapphira thing go?"

"It's not that simple," says Snip, "if he were still human, yes, but for an immortal, it wouldn't seem that long ago."

"Jack's heart has become quite frozen," says Father Winter, "his grudge will soon become pure darkness. The only way to save him is for someone to warm his heart back to what it was before."

"Well, it's a good thing we're all winter people," says Holly.

She has a point. We would know nothing about warming a frozen heart. Then Toothiana the Tooth Fairy came. "Hello everyone," says Toothiana.

"Why do you visit us so much," I asked, "not that I'm complaining, but you seem to come here quite a lot and it's not like we can get cavities."

"I just like the breeze," says Toothiana, "so... where's Jack?"

"Doing something stupid," I said.

Frosty's POV:

The kids and I were playing, but then something made ice under our sled, causing us to go faster. Then we stopped and saw the guy doing it. "Did you do that," I asked.

"Yep, my name's Jack Frost. I think you've heard of me. I can give you guys the greatest winter wonderland!"

"This guy's just a braggart," says Didi, "Frosty's way more fun. Let's go." We then all left. I hope Jack doesn't take that too personally. He seems like a fun guy.
