Floor seventeen, fight the boss

Chapter 10

Optimus wakes up gasping. He sighs as he turns to see Arcee and Bee. He looks around the room. He hopes that no one is here. He notices Megatron sleeping on the couch. He is snoring, he is in deep sleep. Optimus chuckles. He snuggles closer to Arcee. He wants to sleep more. This whole week, or days...whatever have been long. He doesn't care what day it is. He is tired. He just wants to go home, away from all this. He thinks about home, and about his company. His friends, well not anymore, workers, are gone. Prowl, Jazz, Soundwave, Starscream, Cliffjumper, tailgate. He wonders why, why did they does this. He is still thinking who they are trying to get. He is starting to believe that they wanted him. He was the one they wanted revenge on. His family and him are the only ones alive, and they are still operating this. He jolts up, it's him. They wanted him! Prime hears a knock. He turns to see a man, outside the window. He is wearing a tiger mask. He throws something, a can. A pruple spray surrounds the room. Optimus tries to throw it but he feels dizzy. He stumbles to the floor.

Flashback

"Bumblebee...hang on tight" Prime drives around the track. Bumblebee wants to know how the cars feels. He wants to know how fast they can go. Optimus drives carefully. He laughs as he sees Bee, cheering. Bee dared him to beat the time. Optimus goes for it. Bumblebee is enjoying the ride. Bee always love racing, driving with his dad but that accident. Bee winces when he sees his dad, struggling to walk. Arcee is right in front of him, helping him walk. Bee wants to help, but he is still too small. Optimus is doing therapy. He is working hard, trying his best to recover. The doctors, nurses all told him that he will never race again. He leg will no longer be the same. Optimus fighting to prove them wrong. Optimus winces as he steps on his leg. He collapses. Arcee hugs him tight, catching him.

"It hurts..." he whispers "I can't...I can't move"

"Hey...hey. It's okay...I got you" she says "I'm here. You did great. That's good for today. You were amazing"

Pime nods. The trainer goes to help him sit. He rolls him to his room. Arcee is right behind him. Bee is following her. She next to Prime along with Bee. Optimus is panting, he is struggling to breathe. He moans in pain. He tries his best to relax. Arcee goes to his bed, and she lays down next to him. She places his head on her chest, making him hear her heartbeat. Optimus sighs in relief. Arcee starts rubbing his head, she hums thier song.

Bumblebee was watching his parents. He can see the love in them. He can see the strength. Arcee is cheering for Prime as he starts walking normally. She hugs him tight. She's been there since the very beginning. She always tells him that he is doing great. He will get better, he will be better. Optimus kisses her. "I love you...I love you!"

Bumblebee is driving with Prime. He is not going as fast anymore. Bee smiles wide, even though they are not going fast, He just loves driving around with his dad. Optimus stops the car. He looks at Bee.

"Son...I'm sorry. I can't...I don't think I can ever race again" he says. "I...I can't focus. I get dizzy...My leg and stomach aches. I..."

"Dad...it's okay" Bee says "Your the best no matter what. You are strong. You are my hero"

Optimus smiles, but he feels tears "I..."

Bee hugs him. "You are here with me. Mom always says that. You always say that. Well...I'm here for you" Bee leans back "Everything will be okay...because we are here"

Optimus smiles.

"I'll be with you...We are going to support you"

Optimus laughs "Love you kid..."

"Love you too dad"

Bee sits back down. "We are here. We are strong"

end of flasback

Prime wakes up gasping. He looks around the room. It's bright, it looks empty, a big white empty room. Optimus tries to move but feels his hands tied. He moves his legs, he gasps. He is tied to the chair. He tries his best to be set Free. He yells out but he feels his month cover. He tries again, trying to escape. He stops, he is start worrying about his family. Are they alright...are they hurt. Where are they!? He tries to move again. He stops when he hears the door open. He sees two men walking up to him. One in the tiger mask, the other with the lion mask. Prime guesses the Tiger is the boss, while the lion is the master. The one behind this.

"Well...looks who is awake?" Says Tiger.

"Well..took you long enough" says Lion

Tiger stabs Prime on the shoulder. Prime yells in pain. Lion shakes his head. He goes to grab a chair. He grabs two and sits down. While Tiger sits next to him. Lion removes Primes cloth from his month. Optimus yells as he tries to move away.

"Any question?"is all the Lion says

"Where are they?" Prime says "My family..where are they!"

"They are safe for now" Lion says

"Let them go!" Prime yells "Let them GO!"

Tiger punches him "Don't you yell at us" Tiger punches him again. Lion stops him.

"Optimus...good to see you" says Lion "Can't believe you made it this far. I had a plan for you. I wanted you to suffer, to go crazy, to fight for food, but you fought back. I thought I can torture you. Being stuck here in the hotel, I thought I can make you go insane but you are strong"

Optimus spits out blood. He glares at the two. "You did this...just to get to ME!"

Tiger punches him.

"Yes...everyone here, knows you. They are all big fans of yours." Lion growls "How do they still love you! You havent race in three years. They always talk about you!"

"I am the best. I made history, I win it all" Tiger punches Prime again. Optimus shakes his head.

"It was always about you!" says the one in the lion "Optimus Prime...Optimus...Optimus"

"Who..who are you!" yells Prime

"Your wrost nightmare"

"Why...why did you do all this. You should've went up to me. You should've fought me like man. Instead of killing innocents. All are dead. All had no idea. They didn't deserve this"

"This is all because of you!" yells lion "This is all your fault"

"I didn't do anything wrong. You guys are the ones to blame. You are nothing but COWARDS!"

Lion gets up and kicks his jaw. Prime shakes his head, he is feeling dizzy. After a long moment, of just silence. Prime looks at the two.

"Where...where are my family?" he ask

"They are at another room. On floor seventeen"

"Wait...what floor am I at?"

"The eighteen" Lion says "The seventeen floor. There is a bomb on the floor. So...they are not safe anymore"

"I'll give you what you want" Prime says "I'll give you the company...I will give you everything...please don't kill them"

"I'll think about it" Lion punches Prime. He gets the knife and holds it to his neck. "I will make you suffer" He punches Prime on the gut. Optimus cries out. He yells at them, yelling at them not to hurt his family.

Arcee wakes up gasping. She looks around, looking for Bee. He is on the floor. He is tied up. She goes to him, but falls over. She is tied to a chair. She yells out to Bee.

"Bee...you okay?" Arcee says "Bee" Bumblebee groans as he wakes up. He looks at Arcee.

"I'm good mom" he says

"Good...good."

"Hey you guys okay?" Megatron ask from across the room. "Is Optimus okay?"

She looks around, but get worried. She doesn't see him. "Optimus...!"

"DAD!' Bee says.

"What...where is he?" Arcee says

Megatron shakes his head. "Oh no..."

He sees the Tv screen. We have Optimus. He doesn't have long to live. Arcee, you can save him

Arcee gasps. She tries to escape but stops when the door opens. Tiger walks in, he stands in front of Arcee. He picks her up.

"Saw the message,"

"Where is HE!" she yells "If you hurt him! I willl"

"Arcee. Come with me. If you come with me...Optimus will survive"

Arcee is getting really tired of this. She has to think of something. This man, Tiger, or whoever he is. She can stop him. He grabs her, and he drags her. Arcee kicks his feet, making him trip. He growls as he gets up, but Arcee kicks his jaw. He growls as he rolls on the floor. Arcee kicks his belt, making a knife fly to where Megatron is. He grabs it, and hides it between his hands. Arcee does a twirl, and kicks Tiger. She tries again, but she gets caught. The lion eyes staring at her. He hits her head, she goes out cold. Arcee gets picked up and gets carried away.

"MOM! MOM!" Bee cries as he tries to escape. He tries his best. The Tiger gets up and walks after the Lion. He tries again, and again. Bee tries again, he is hurting his wrist.

"Kid...enough" Megatron says "Let's take a deep breathe" Megatron uses the knife to cut his rope. He gets up, and walks to Bee. He sets him free. Bee gets up quickly, tries to run after them. Megatron stops him from chasing them. Megatron hangs on to him tight. "Hey...wait...calm down" Bee stops and stares at him. He looks angry. Megatron sighs. "I know you are mad. They got your parents, but we can't rush in. It can be a trap, or if we do, they can...get hurt. We have to think of a plan, something" Megatron is not really good at this. He just goes for it. He sighs as he sits down. He can't think of anything. He is alway second to Optimus. He always goes second, but there are days when he get first. One day, he couldn't win, he didn't want to win.

Flashback

Megatron is winning first. The great race, the world race. He knows he has it. The grand race, Cybertron raceway. Megatron was in first place. He looks at the mirrors. He sees Prime right up, closing towards him. Megatron smirks, this is one real race now. Megatron looks again, and he sees Optimus, already passing him. Megatron waits, he can find a way pass him, but he has to before the curve, or maybe during. He then notices somebody else behind him. Literally behind him. It's like he is catching a ride with Prime. Megatron goes in, he has to pass them. Then a loud noise happen, Optimus car goes to side, skidding, Megatron dodges it, and keeps on going. He doesn't stop, for some reason he couldn't. He passes the finish line. He breaks hard, as he did he skids, he gets off quickly. His eyes widen, Prime's car, its all crushed, damage. The medics are already working on it. Megatron runs for it, but he gets stop, he looks to see his crew chief.

"Wait...no. Please...I have to help!" Megatron yells.

"No...let them handle it," says Shockwave, "We can't do anything..."

Megatron is looking at the board, he is in first place. He sighs, he doesn't feel like he won. He looks at second place, he growls. He is going to talk to that guy soon. He is going to bring hell to him. Megatron is now staring at the Tv. All they are showing is Optimus's crash, his accident. He closes his eyes, his heart aches, this, isn't fair. He gets up and goes home.

The next week, he is gearing up. He is walking to his challenger. He stares at it, he sees a spot next to him. He sighs, it's not the same red and blue camaro. He tries to hold in his anger. It's been a week, and no good news from the Prime family. Megatron shakes his head, no, no, he can't race. He didn't win, he feels like he cheated. He stares at the other cars. All the drivers are getting ready, but they don't seem, hype. It has been a long week, they know it was an accident, but still, it was very shocking.

"Come on...man. Let's race"

"I can't Shockwave..." Megatron says "I...um..."

"I know. Prime is your friend, your rival" he says "But he doesn't want you to quit. He wants you to fight. Win for him,"

"I will" Megatron looks at the green , red and white car. The one that was behind Optimus, when it all happen. "I will stop him from winning!" Megatron sees the driver. He runs to him, and punches him. Luckily, he had the helmet on. Megatron tries again, but some of his crew stop him. "This is your FAULT!" YOU DID-"

"Megatron!" says Shockwave. "It was an accident. Nobody is to blame. It happen, it was an accident" Megatron stops. He sighs as he looks down. He is right, he just wanted someone to blame. He shakes his head, he goes back to his car, but before he did he turn back.

"I'm sorry." Megatron looks at the driver. "Wheeljack, I am sorry. I'm just...worried, upset"

"We all are, especially me." He says "How do you think I feel?"

"You are right." Megatron goes to his car.

The race is going by to fast. Megatron is not letting anyone win. Megatron closes his eyes for a bit, and opens them. He sees the same old camaro, driving beside him. Megatron gasps, he loses control. He can't focus. He tries his best. He ends up in third place. He is angry, so angry, that it hurts. He couldn't win it all. He couldn't. He sighs, he wants his friend back.

He looks at the man next to him. Second place, Dirft, and first place Wheeljack. He gets his award and walks off in a hurry. He looks back again, to see Wheeljack, he is celebrating, he is happy. He won it all. Megatron keeps walking, that isn't his trophy, it was suppose to be Prime's. He sits down, he looks at jackies, crew. All are laughing, drinking, all are having the time of thier lives. Megatron keeps walking, he goes to the office. He sees Ultra Magnus.

"Magnus...what are you doing here?"

"it isn't right!" he yells "Something is wrong!"

"Magnus...what are you..."

He sees the footage, Optimus accident. He keeps rewinding it, he keeps replaying it. Megatron shakes his head. He goes to him.

"Magnus...enough. Let it go. It was an accident"

"No NO!" he yells "I'm sure of it. Prime and I have been racing for a so long. How would the tire pop out of nowhere! We know what we are doing, escpecially during the Great race"

"Magnus...maybe it was bad luck, okay. An accident"

"Megatron! please...there's got to be something!"

"Please Magnus...stop"

Magnus replays it again. "We don't make mistakes!'

Megatron stands in front of him, taking the remote. "STOP!"

Magnus stares at him. "My brother...he is...dying...he is..."

"Stop" Megatron whispers.

"I...I..." he cries as he goes to his knees. Megatron goes down with him. He hugs him.

"Optimus...is going to be okay. You will see" Megatron whispers

Magnus is now sleeping on the couch. Megatron gets up to get ready to go home. He keeps hearing cheers, and laughing. The party is still going. Megatron looks to see Wheeljack, walking around like he owns everything. Megatron shakes his head. He is now at home, staring at the keeps replaying the footage. He closes his eyes, and he starts crying.

Megatron eyes widen.

There's got to be something

Megatron stands up quickly. "Wheeljack...can he...?"

He feels Bee tap his shoulder.

"Any plans?"

"No..." Megatron says. He looks to the door. Right next to it, he sees a clock, and it's counting down. He gasps again, "Oh great...we have ten minutes." He goes to it, he tries to move it. As he did, it didn't blow, he is thankful. He throws the bomb out the window. He goes back in. He gets ready. He gets Bee ready, he puts a bullet proof vest, wrist support, shoulder pads. "Look, I don't have a plan, but...we are sneaking in. The bomb is going to go off. On the ground, maybe that can distract them" He goes to the he looks to check on Bee. He is ready, right behind him. Megatron likes the kid. "Well...let's do this"

Megatron goes out the the hall. He doesn't see anyone. It's all empty. He keeps walking, with Bee right behind him. He sees the stairs, they are going up. All the way up. to the top floor. He gets ready. Bee gets ready too. He is going to help, he is going to free his parents. Megatron opens the door, to the last floor. He sneaks in. He sees gaurds, lot's of them. "Oh great" He grabs a knife, he gets ready to fight. He charges to them. All turn to charge to them. Bee stays behind, trying to stay away. He sees a bat. He starts swinging it with all his might. He gets one, then another. He gets captured. He tries his best to escape. Megatron notices, and he throws one guy to the one who had him. Bee goes to the ground. He hits the guys on the knees. Megatron finds a room, and he grabs Bee and hids in there. He sees guns, there. He smirks, this can help. He gets them, he turns to Bee. He is reaching for one of them. Megatron stops him. "No Bee..." He nods. Megatron takes a deep breath. He gets out and starts shooting. He is right behind him. He looks around, all of them are backing away. He stays still. "Where are they! Where are Optimus and ARCEE!" None of them answer. He goes to attack but something shakes the whole building. All go stumbling down. Megatron eyes widen "THE BOMB!"

"I thought you threw it out. to the ground" Bee says

"Maybe, it landed on one of the top floors" Megatron sighs. Another explosion is heard, all go stumbling down again. The guards get up and start running around, trying to escape. Megatron holds Bee, trying to get balance. Another explosion. Megatron really did mess up. He starts running to find his friends. He stumbles here and there as the whole hotel starts to shake. He keeps running, he is going to find them.

"No...leave her alone!'
