The birth of a Princess
3 months after the birth of Alexander

The early rays of the morning sun hit Jade in the face as she was laying on her side in her bed with her eyes closed. She had been awake for a little over ten minutes now but was too comfortable to move. She was content to lay there for as long as she could before her irregular alarm clock inevitably went off. She had just snuggled further into her pillow when she felt a slight shift in the bed before she felt an arm encircled her waist and a pair of lips began kissing her neck.
Moaning at the sensations those kisses sent through her body, Jade tried to ignore her bed partner but the hand that had encircled her waist began to wander. Another arm wrapped around her and wondered as well. The bed shifted again as a third hand ran up and down her luscious thigh while a second pair of lips planted a kiss on her neck and shoulders.
Shifting slightly and craning her neck, her lips met another's in a passionate kiss. When she pulled away, her bed-mate went back to her neck while she kissed the bed's third occupant in front of her. Jade giggled when Hades and Persephone spread more kisses on her body. "Stop it you two. If you keep that up, we'll never leave this bed." She moaned as she received a chuckle from behind in response before a deep seductive male voice spoke up.
"That's the idea." Hades said as he went back to kissing her neck before going back and forth between her neck and shoulder. His right hand slid up her body as he fondled her naked breast.
"Mmmm." Jade moaned as she bit her lip to keep from crying out. Persephone wasn't idle as she softly caressed Jade's breasts, massaging them a bit to prepare for the eventual feeding. The Edenian wasn't idle either. With one hand she gently ran it along Persephone's form over her nightgown, she reached back with her remaining hand and slid it into Hades sleep pants and gripped his member. Jade felt a sense of triumph when she heard him groan. Suddenly she gasped as one of Persephone's fingers slipped into her aching core. Her moans grew in volume as she was pleasured by the goddess while Hades turned her head and kissed her deeply, tongue entering her mouth.
Just as Jade was about to tear the clothing off of all three of them, they were interrupted by a loud cry from the next room. Mood instantly killed; the three sighed. "There goes my alarm." Jade joked as she got out of bed, made a quick trip to the bathroom to wash her hands and grab her robe before going to the next room connected to her chambers.
The room was revealed to be a nursery with dozens of stuffed animals. In the center of the room sat a crib that currently held a crying 3-month-old baby. Padding up to the crib, Jade reached in with practiced ease and pulled out her son. "Shh, Alex shh, Mama's here." She cooed. The baby continued to cry for a moment or two. "Shh, shh, shh. My little warrior. It's ok. Mama's got you." Her son sniffled for a moment before his cries turned to whimpers before coming to a stop. The boy opened his eyes revealing emerald green eyes inherited from his mother. "That's my little warrior." She said kissing the top of his head that had a small mop of black hair on it. Knowing her baby was hungry, Jade opened her robe revealing a milk engorged breast as she held the baby close so he could eat. Baby Alex hungerly latched onto his mother's nipple, suckling her nourishment with adoring want.
Leaving the nursery, Jade walked back to her bedroom. The bed was empty, and the door slightly open. Getting in bed, she leaned back against a stack of pillows left for her as she took a moment to just admire the child happily suckling away without a care in the realm.
The scene Persephone walked in from the bathroom was one she loved to see. Mother and child bonding.
Getting on the bed, she sat next to Jade. "Hades went to get breakfast." She said as she laid a dainty hand on the baby's back as he fed. Even though Alexander was not her child, she loved him like he was her own. Moving her hand a bit, she found one of her fingers held in his tiny hand. His grip was surprisingly strong. "My my Alexander. So young and yet you're so strong. Make sure you drink lots of mommy's milk, and one day you'll be big and strong like her and your daddy."
Her statement got a laugh from the Edenian as the baby continued his feeding. Alexander was three months old now and a very active baby. Because of his heritage, he was somewhat more developed than regular human babies.
A few moments later, Jade closed her robe as Persephone put a towel on her shoulder so she could burp the baby. That was when Hades came in with a tray filled with breakfast.
Setting the tray on her lap, Hades gently took possession of his son while Jade ate breakfast.
Later at noon, Outside the Palace
.
Lithe and stealthy as the warrior she trained to be, Jade dashed through the thick vegetation of the forests outside of the Royal Palace. Beneath her mask, a smile curled at her lips as she evaded her pursuer.
A few meters behind, Hades trudged a bit less gracefully through the thick foliage. He pushed aside ferns and stepped over vines and roots, trying his hardest to catch up to his target. He could clearly sense his Edenian lover as she moved away from him, and he was in hot pursuit.
He smirked as he approached a rather large tree she was definitely hiding behind. A rush of adrenaline suddenly flooded Hades system, and he sped his pace. He was going to get her this time.
He lunged, only to find no one there. Hades was momentarily dumbstruck. He could sense Jade standing right here. He looked down beneath his feet. The grass and shrubs were all crushed and flattened as if someone had stood there before he had.
Suddenly a familiar triblade came flying down towards him out of the canopy at an angle. The god shifted abruptly, the sharp tip of the blade just missing his right cheek. It curved in the air as it sailed back to its point of origin. Hades followed the projectile and smirked in amusement. So this is how she wants to play? He would merely flush her out. Summoning a ball of black hellfire in his hand, Hades blasted the fireball up towards the tree where Jade had thrown her triblade, but it soon became evident that he only succeeded in burning a limb.
Gone again.
With a sigh of annoyance, Hades extinguished the flames. Suddenly he felt a finger tapping his shoulder, and he abruptly turned to see Jade standing there. The Emrald Assassin stood completely calm and nonchalant, hip cocked to the side, her arms crossed under her bountiful breasts and a sly smirk upon her masked face.
"You'll have to do better than that…" she teased in a sing-song voice. Hades grinned, taking a fighting stance.
"Very well love. Let us dance." he said as he moved to strike. Before he could hit her, Jade disappeared in a cloud of green vapor. Missed again.
Turning he saw Jade sprinting through the forest and gave chase. Jade's laughter echoed through the forest as Hades chased her. He felt so free. Unburdened by the labors of his family and duty in Earthrealm.
Several minutes passed before they emerged from the forest into a clearing. Jade decided it was now time to end the chase. Turning, she leaped into the air and aimed downwards with a diving kick. Hades shifted and caught her, using her own momentum to toss her away. Gracefully she tucked and rolled to her feet, taking a stance. The two then charged one another and began trading blows.
Hades was an excellent fighter. He was fast, powerful, cunning and agile. He was also very patient, no matter how long and frustrating the battle became. But the Edenian warrior had one crucial advantage that always made the difference…
She was older than him.
Hades may be over 4,000 years old but Jade trumped that with her 10,000.
After several long minutes of combat, she saw a hole in Hades defenses, and she exploited it effortlessly. With one simple sweep kick, Jade took his legs from beneath him, sending him sprawling onto his back. Before Hades could recover she straddled him, drawing her triblade from her side holster and pressing the single, folded tip to his jugular vein. The man gazed at her wide eyed for a moment, before he sighed in defeat. She got him again. Jade leaned down over him, pulling down her mask to reveal her triumphant countenance.
"It appears I win again." she teased. The god 'hmphed,' furrowing his brows and poking out his lower lip. Jade could not resist briefly stealing a kiss. That petulant expression was too adorable. Until it turned into a smirk. "I may have lost but…"
Hades grabbed her waist. "…you left yourself open." And began sensually rubbing her sides. Jade was helpless. "Stooop…no fair…" She gasped. Caressing her side with one hand, Hades moved the other to her rear and proceeded to grope her through her skimpy outfit.
Just as she was about to give in and tear his shirt off. "…We're right here you know."
The two stopped and turned to see Persephone and Sindel sitting on a picnic blanket, basket next to them as they enjoy tea. The two queens had amused expressions on their faces. Around them, Alexander, Lin, and Chow played around with a few stuffed animals.
"Now General, while I do not wish to intrude on your passion, I believe it be best done without an audience." Sindel said. Her hair extended and gently snaked towards Lin. That same hair that could strike quicker than a snake and literally tear a person in two gently coiled underneath the baby. Forming a makeshift cradle of hair.
Bringing the baby to her arms, Sindel held her granddaughter with expert ease while Jade quickly got off Hades. Embarrassment at being caught clear on both their faces.
Joining the two queens, Hades and Jade made small talk with Persephone and Sindel for a while when a male Edenian servant wearing a black Mao suit with gold lining and black leather slippers approached.
"My apologies, Queen Sindel. I did not wish to intrude but Princess Mileena is in labor. She is at the Hall of Healing. Princess Kitana and Lord Liu Kang are also there waiting." The servant bowed respectfully.
Sindel was happy at the news. Her next grandchild was about to be born. Standing, the queen carried both her grandchildren in her hair while Alexander was picked up by Jade. "Clean up everything. Then you are dismissed for the day. Come everyone."
Sindel, Jade, Persephone, and Hades walked back to the palace with the children while the servant cleaned up the picnic.
Edenian Palace, Hall of Healing

Liu winced at the loud pained filled scream of Mileena as she went through the agonizing process known as birth.
It was well into the evening, and Mileena had been in the active stages of labor for five hours. Inside the healer's chamber, her grunts and yells of pain could be heard through the thick, ornate doors. Outside was Liu Kang, Kitana, Sindel, Jade, Persephone, and Hades all waiting for the birth of the child of the second princess. The children being watched by maids in their respective rooms. The only one allowed at Mileena's side was her husband Baraka.
"Elder gods. I don't remember your labor being so…" A yell of pain tore through the walls. "…painful."
Kitana gave her husband a deadpan look. "I gave birth to twins, Liu. You must remember, Mileena is part Tarkatan. This will not be an easy birth."
Still, Kitana was worried. While originally hating Mileena for what she was and how she came to be, that was no longer the case. Kitana viewed Mileena as her younger sister and hearing her pained cries worried her. "Relax, it will all be fine."
"Okay... okay." Liu sighed as he sat down beside her.
Mileena gave a particularly loud scream from inside the room, causing all heads to snap toward the door. Hearing that, even Kitana's face blanched.
"I remember when I was having you, my daughter." Sindel said as she reached for Kitana's hand. "I was in labor with you for over fourteen hours. The first time is always the most difficult.
Everyone waited in the hall. An hour passed, then two, then three, then four. It was past nightfall now, and Kitana had slumped over and dozed off on Liu's shoulder. Jade and Persephone did the same with Hades. Liu was still awake, but barely, listening to the ordeal unfold. He immediately snapped awake when, after hours of waiting, the unmistakable wail of a newborn rang out. Kitana's head sprang up immediately as well, while Jade slowly sat up and rubbed her eyes while Persephone stretched.
"It's over..." Queen Sindel said, looking at everyone else. "I have another grandchild."
Jade stood up. "I wonder what it is?"
"Ooh I can't wait to meet my niece or nephew." Kitana said excitedly.
Soon the door to the healing chamber opened. Baraka stepped out of the chamber, his forehead glistening with sweat, and his breaths coming in shudders; but a smile on his fanged mouth conveyed the utmost elation and wonder was plastered over his face. The royal family members and their Olympian guests stood and gathered around him, waiting eagerly while he found his voice.
"It's a girl." he said simply. "She's so beautiful..."
Kitana gave a small squeal of excitement, Liu grinned, and Jade, Persephone and Hades exchanged excited smiles.
"Congratulations Baraka." Sindel said, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Thank you, my queen. Would you like to see your new granddaughter?"
Sindel nodded. Baraka led them all inside the chamber, where Mileena was sitting up in bed, exhausted and flushed in a white robe. In her arms, wrapped tightly in a blanket, was her newborn daughter; her pale, round face topped minimally with black hair. The new mother smiled tiredly as her family entered the room. The midwives, who were standing by observing, smiled as well.
"She did a splendid job your Highness." A midwife said to Sindel as she and the others left to give family and friends their private time with the new mother and child.
Sindel stepped forward and wrapped Mileena in a hug, kissing her temple. She stepped back and let Kitana follow suit, congratulating her sister's transition into motherhood. All eyes then fixed onto the new princess, and she, seeming to know she was the center of attention, opened her eyes to reveal bright yellow eyes with slit pupils just like her mother's. All their hearts melted at the sight of them.
Though the newborn looked like an Edenian babe, one thing she did have, along the corners of her mouth, were the makings of a set of teeth just like a Tarkatan. But that only made her cuter in everyone's eyes.
Sindel held her arms out, silently asking to hold the baby which Mileena granted. With care, the baby was transferred from mother to grandmother. The baby looked at Sindel's face before smiling a toothless smile and raised one of her chubby little arms to pat her cheek with her small hand. The action brought "coos" and "awws" from Kitana, Jade, and Persephone who crowded around Sindel to get a better look at the baby while Liu and Hades stood at the side.
After several moments, Baraka soon came and took his daughter back and stood by Mileena's bed. The normally fierce looking leader of the Takatans had a look of peaceful serenity as he held his offspring.
"Sister, what are you going to name her?" Kitana asked as Mileena and Baraka looked at each other briefly before he nodded to her.
"Her name will be Calla." Mileena said as she took her daughter back in her arms.
"Beauty in Greek. Oh, it's a perfect name for her." Persephone said.
"Definitely a fitting name." Hades added.
Jade asked to hold the now named Calla. Taking the baby in her arms with experienced ease. Persephone stood next to her, brushing a finger along the baby's chubby cheek.
"Again, congratulations Baraka. I can already tell; your daughter will become a beauty when she is older." Sindel said to her son-in-law.
Baraka smiled, or at least tried to smile by Takatan standards. "Yes, she will grow up to be beautiful and deadly like her mother." He said looking at his wife.
After a few moments, Calla began to cry for her first feeding, and Jade handed her back to Mileena. Liu and Hades decided to take their leave, as Mileena opened her robe and exposed her breasts. Soon the baby was having her first meal.
As Milenna looked at her daughter, Jade and Kitana thought of their own children and imagined all four babies playing and growing up together.

A Son of Hades side story that will have the one-shots of Alexander's life as he grows up. Here we see Hades life in Edenia before the birth of my OC Calla, the daughter of Mileena and Baraka.

As I said, this story is only for one-shots. Next chapter could be a Christmas chapter, Alexander's powers emerging, or maybe Alex, Chow, Lin, and Calla meeting Cassie and Jacqui.
I will try to post a new chapter before New Years but no promises.
