AN: Okay, I'm finally here with the next chapter sorry, for the long wait, I did not intend for the hiatus to be this long, but I can still make my goal, anyway enjoy!

Sam Wilson was walking down the hallway of Metropolis High School as one of his 'Defenders' teammates Karen Beecher texted saying she had something big to show the rest of the team, which was ironic since Sam had something to show as well. Sam suddenly stopped when he heard knocking from one of the lockers.

"Um, can someone help me please?" Came a voice that Sam recognized.

"Karen?" Sam asked as he took out a small laser pointer that had an actual laser that Babs invented for such scenarios and used it to open the locker freeing the girl who fell out on her face.

"Thanks." Karen said as Sam helped her up.

"Doris again?" Sam asked referring to one of the schools female jocks/bullies Doris Zuel who was basically the female version of Carl Creel who loved to torment the females in Metropolis High, especially Karen.

"Yeah, she was playing football on the field and I happened to catch it, I tried to tell her off but, next thing I knew I was stuck in the locker." Karen explained how the situation happened.

"Karen, you can't keep letting that girl push you around." Sam told her, just then there was another knocking in the locker next to them, Sam used the laser to open this one and out came a red haired girl who had it in a pony tail who also had an overbite, this was Doreen Green apparently another one of Doris's targets.

"Hey Doreen." They both greeted

"Hey guy's." Doreen replied as she got up and left.

Back at the hideout the group were each doing their own things, Bucky and Kara were arm wrestling (Bucky using his metal arm).

"Ready to give up?" Kara asked smugly.

"Dream on Blondie." Bucky shot back.

Just then Sam, Karen, Babs and Peter, who had met up after school had just entered and the former two had just explained Karen's situation to the latter two.

"Well, it's a good thing you had your 'Lock Laser' with you, good for if you forget your keys or get stuffed in your own lockers." Babs commented while also praising her own invention. "Nev-".

Babs was about to continue before Peter cut her off. "Please don't say 'never leave home without it' that's kind of cliché." Peter said honestly.

"I wasn't going to say that." Babs defended with everyone giving her questioning looks "Always have it with you even if you're not home?" Babs said with an awkward smile.

"Moving on, I might have found a way to solve my problem, no one will see me as small and weak again." Karen continued with confidence in her voice.

"Aww dang it!" Everyone heard Bucky yell causing them to look towards him and Kara who looked like they were having a tug of war with their hands.

"What happened?" Sam asked

"Kara squeezed my hand to hard and now it's welded to hers." Bucky replied still struggling.

"Well, you not letting go as I was squeezing didn't help either." Kara shot back also struggling

"Well, hopefully my latest invention will brighten your days." Karen announced

"Is it something that can get us unstuck." Kara asked as she and Bucky continued to try to break free.

"Can't you just peel it off with your super strength?" Zee asked

"If I could I would have done it by now, is this arm made out of Kryptonian material?" Kara replied and asked Bucky.

"I don't know, I didn't build it I just had it put on me." Bucky responded.

Stephen shook his head and turned back to Karen, "What do you got?"

Sam noticed Karen still looked a little nervous but knew how to help "Actually I have an invention of my own that I would like to show first, if that's alright with you Karen." Karen smiled and nodded in approval.

Sam took something out of his backpack and tapped his watch which caused the item to float. It was what looked like a red drone shaped like a falcon.

"Ladies and Gentleman, I give you 'Redwing'" Sam announced as his teammates applauded. "He's designed to assist me if necessary on hero mission's, he basically serves as a guide and/or tracking system."

"Awesome, what do you got Karen?" Peter asked as Karen went back to change into her new suit, which was basically a newer model of her old one but more high-tech, her teammates were impressed.

"Oh, Karen it is simply divine." Zee complemented.

"A lot better compare to your old one." Stephen added.

"Battle armor befitting of a warrior." Diana stated

"Surely symbolizes your inner strength." Added Donald

"Look's great kid, but what does it do?" Kara asked.

"Yeah, aside from looking more advanced than your old one, how is it different?" Bucky added his own question.

"Well, this one is made from photovoltaic modules, making it solar-powered, thanks to Sam for providing the tech." Karen explained.

"Happy to help Karen." Sam nodded.

"Plus, they make her look like a bee!" Babs stated.

"I mean her old one did that too, but yeah." Peter said.

"I also modified my wing mechanisms to give the buzz a more dulcet tone." Karen said as she demonstrated her new wings by fluttering them. "I'm also working on quartz prisms in the gauntlets that will emit an electrical sting." Karen said activating the gauntlets

"Do Bee's generate electric shocks?" Kara asked.

"No, but they do sting." Bucky clarified.

"And now, for the biggest upgrade yet." Karen said as she pressed a button on her wrist causing her to perform her signature shrinking power, much to the confusion of her teammates.

"Um...good work?" Zee said awkwardly.

"Yeah but, couldn't your old suit do that?" Stephen asked.

"What? No, I wasn't supposed to shrink, I was supposed to grow! I thought I got the growth tech figured out." Karen said deactivating the suit and returning to normal size.

"Why do you want to grow anyways? Your so cute when you're small." Zee complemented.

"Cute and useless, how am I supposed to stand up to bad guys when I'm just a puny little insect?" Karen asked disappointed.

Sam deactivated Redwing before responding "Karen, you may be small physically, but if you ask me I say it doesn't matter since you make up for it with your big brain and big heart." Sam said putting a hand on Karen's shoulder.

"Thanks Sam." Karen said smiling a little.

"You have still done well Karen, you as well Sam, therefore we should celebrate by visiting the mall!" Donald declared

"I agree!" Diana replied.

"Sorry, but I'm afraid I can't make it, Daddy and I have a show tonight." Zee said

"I have some magic training to attend myself." Stephen added.

"Amadeus and I are protesting the show for using animals." Jess added as Amadeus nodded.

"Cool, the four of us can share a cab." Zee said excitedly.

"Well, I guess It's just the eight of us then." Babs said.

"Yeah, maybe we can find something to get us unstuck." Kara grunted as everyone turned to see her and Bucky continue to try and separate themselves.

The group headed to the mall where they each split up to do their own things, Diana and Babs went to go by some new clothes and Donald and Peter went to hang out at the arcade, Sam and Karen turned to Bucky and Kara and raised their eyebrows in confusion as they saw the two huddled together.

"Um, why are you guys standing so close like that?" Asked Sam.

"Well, we're going to the hardware store to see if we can find something to pry my hand off of hers," Bucky explained as Kara finished.

"And, we don't need anyone to see us holding hands and think we're dating."

"Ah, good thinking, because you two huddling together certainly won't cause any suspicion." Sam sarcastically smirked as Karen giggled.

As Kara and Bucky walked off after scoffing at the comment, Sam noticed Karen's frown from earlier return. "Still disappointed that the suit didn't work like you hoped?"

"Yeah, I know my shrinking powers have been helpful so far, but I just feel that maybe I could do greater things." Karen explained with her head down.

"Karen, I understand how you feel, but the way I see it, just because a skill seems ridicules, that doesn't mean it can't be useful, I mean look at that Hank Pym guy, shrinking tech is what made him successful." Sam pointed out causing Karen to smile at his attempt to cheer her up. "Tell you what, how about we go to the electronics store and see if we can find something to help perfect the suit?" Sam suggested.

"Yeah, that would be nice." Karen smiled as the two went to the electronics store.

Meanwhile, a girl with red hair wearing a yellow tracksuit and white shoes entered the sporting goods store, this was Karen's tormentor and Metropolis high's female star athlete Doris Zuel.

"Hey, I need some weights!" Doris yelled at the worker.

"Ah, yes of course mam, what size would you like three pounder? eight pounder?" the worker asked which only angered her.

"Excuse me!?" Doris asked both offended and furious.

"Well those are the popular sizes of our female customers." the worker explained, not like it helped.

"Are you saying you think I'm weak because I'm a girl!?" Doris yelled before stomping out angrily. Doris then went to a corner where she preceded to pullout a medical needle containing a mysterious green substance, and preceded to inject herself with it, though the neck, Doris then opened her eyes to reveal they are now green and her muscles started to expand so much that her clothes ripped.

The current customers at the mall all seemed to be going about their business, until it was interrupted by a large roar, everyone turned to see what looked like a cavewoman about eight feet tall causing everyone to scream and run in panic.

This caught the attention of Diana, Donald, Babs and Peter.

"Whoa, someone didn't seem to like the price tags on the sporting goods." Babs commented

"Must be, clearly she isn't aware that our economy no longer let's us pay in rocks." Peter quipped

"Fear the power of Giganta!" the cavewoman roared.

"We must summon our allies!" Diana announced.

"There is no time to, figure out those vile contraptions known as 'phones'!" Donald responded.

"You are right, we must fight this villain ourselves!" Diana responded as the Defender teammates suited up.

Giganta was running around the mall, smashing and stomping everything in sight as if she were Godzilla or King Kong. "I could get used to this! I am big! I am strong! I am Giganta!" the giantess cackled

"And you'll be going straight to jail for crimes against decency and fashion!" Giganta turned to see Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Spiderman and Thor.

"Surrender now villain!" Wonder Woman shouted drawing her sword and shield.

Giganta smirked before cracking her knuckles and charging at the heroes who easily dodged her. Batgirl attempted to throw her Batarangs at her only for them to bounce right off the giant villainess, Wonder Woman had better luck when she rammed her shield in Giganta's face.

"You'll regret that, puny girl!" Giganta growled before charging again, only to trip over a web line that Spiderman shot by her feet. The Giantess atempted to get up but found herself being held down as Thor had placed his Hammer on her.

"What, how am I being stopped by a tiny little hammer!?" Giganta yelled.

"You may be strong, but you are not worthy." Thor explained.

Giganta smirked when she spotted a desk nearby and hurled it at Thor causing him to summon his hammer and release her.

Sam and Karen had just exited the electronics store when they heard beeping coming from Sam's backpack, Sam activated Redwing who showed them footage of their teammates fighting Giganta.

"Looks like we're needed." Sam stated

"I still need to work on my suit." Karen replied

"I'll buy you some time." Sam replied before joining the fight.

Giganta was still battling the for Defenders when suddenly Falcon arrived and kicked her in the back of the head in mid air.

"So, what's your deal? Upset that even the 'Big and Tall' shop has nothing in your size?" Falcon quipped angering the giantess.

"Get over here so I can crush you, 'Bird Boy'!" Giganta roared while attempting to catch him. Eventually she managed to flick him to the ground. "Now you'll all see that Giganta is the strongest one there is!" Giganta announced triumphantly.

Just then Bumblebee, who had just finished perfecting her suit, arrived catching the villainesses attention. "Hey, dummy! Why don't you pick on someone your own size!" Bumblebee called out before activating her suit, only for it to spark and shrink again, much to her disappointment. "Oh, come on!" Bumblebee shouted before Giganta crushed her with her hand, much to the horror of her teamates.

Just then, Bumblebee suddenly appeared next to Giganta's head. "You know, that would've hurt if your aim didn't stink!" Bumblebee taunted before Giganta continued to try to catch her.

"Stand still!" Giganta said as she kept trying to catch her.

"I'm so small that you can't catch me." Bumblebee realized that she could use this to her advantage. She fired her stingers at her and flew around the Giantess, frustrating her more Bumblebee then landed on Giganta's nose, and dodged just before the Giantess could grab her causing Giganta to punch herself in the face, dazing her.

"Hey, Giganta! Why are you hitting yourself?" Bumblebee taunted before returning to normal size just a second before kicking Giganta in the face, knocking her out. "I can't believe it! I took down the supervillain!" Bublebee said excitedly jumping up and down.

"You sure did, I knew you could do it." Falcon said placing a hand on her shoulder.

Bumblebee surprised Falcon with a hug. "Thanks for believing in me." Bumblebee said as Falcon returned the hug.

"You have done well, Bumblebee, we'll take this brute to prison right away." Wonder woman declared.

"Allow me." Thor stated before using his Hammer to strike the female brute, sending her flying out of the mall.

"Are you sure she's heading towards the prison?" Falcon asked

"I am not sure." Thor answered.

"Hey guys sorry we missed the party, but we found some oil that will just allow Kara to just slip her hand out of mine." Bucky said as he and Kara showed up.

"Yeah, let's just get out of here and get unstuck pronto!" Kara added with an annoyed tone.

"People thought you guys were together didn't they?" Falcon asked smirking much to the annoyance of the two.

The next day at Metropolis High, Karen was sitting in the Bleachers reading a book on shrinking tech by Hank Pym, after Sam brought him up yesterday, Karen decided to use him as inspiration.

Suddenly a football came flying towards her, but this time she caught it.

"Hey Beecher, give me back my ball!" Karen's tormenter Doris shouted from the field.

Feeling inspired from her moment yesterday, Karen smirked before replying, "Come and get it you meat head." Karen laughed before she saw Doris approaching her, causing Karen to run, realizing she should know the time and place for her new found courage.

AN: And, done. Finally Sorry for the long delay, I was hoping to get this chapter out a lot sooner, I guess I won't reach my goal, But that's okay, I mean I can always try again in 2024. Before I go there are 3 things I would like to address.

1. For those of you who I've shared future plans for this story with, during my time away from this story I decided to do somethings different that I think may be better.

2. I now have a Deviantart account under the name of LL7W11 I don't make art or anything, I just explore and add favorites to my list, the reason, I'm telling you this is because if you go to my account and click on my list of favorites, you'll see an art piece from another user that was inspired by this story, it's not the exact same team, but if want an idea of what some of the characters look like in the shows format, you'll see in the art.

3. If this fic was the actual version of the show, what would you chose for the theme song, 'The Superhero Squad Show' theme or the song 'Fight as One' by Bad City? Personally I prefer the latter, but what do you guys think?
