"I'm sorry, Agatha, but King Harrison didn't survive the battle."

A helpful messenger came to deliver the terrible news.

"What? What do you mean?"

She was settling into one of the palace's huge rooms. A request from Harry. She couldn't think about what she was hearing or even believe that it could be real.

"It's her! Arrest her! Agatha Darkness killed our king!"

Demetrius soon appeared in the room with a dozen guards at his command. Still so numb from what she had just heard, she didn't have the strength or will to fight the arrest.

Not even if she wanted to, she would never forget that terrible day and all the others that preceded her death. The pain of the handcuffs, that dark prison and the torture only took effect after a while, because the worst pain she felt was the pain of never seeing Harry again, her adored king who had left forever and that was the mark. She would always carry with her would hurt forever the pain of losing him.

The old memory returned to his mind, but she soon tried to forget it. His plan would now be fulfilled, his revenge finally complete.

"Your Majesty, where are you going? Would you like a soldier to accompany you?"

A common soldier from the guard came to ask, seeing that she was preparing to leave.

"No, I don't want anyone. The spell needs to be cast in the first realm."

She confessed as she prepared for her final journey.

"And where would that be, Your Majesty?"

"In the middle of the Agrabah desert. The first kingdom no longer exists, but it is in the middle of that infinity of sand."

"Good riddance."

She gave her bitter smile, transporting herself to the exact spot.

Her ancestors had destroyed all the ancient kingdoms and now it was her turn. That place had only sand and a scorching sun, but Agatha knew that years before what was seen was an ancient civilization.

"My turn to keep my promise, Harry."

She said aloud, letting a tear escape. However, she returned her concentration to reciting the spell...

Agrabah

As soon as they arrived in Agrabah and the palaces there, the good news was that the place didn't seem so badly affected compared to the other kingdoms.

"We're trying to bring in some people from the neighboring kingdoms."

Jasmine had been explaining to them as they walked through the palace in search of the Genie.

"That's good. Ben will be happy to hear that."

Mal said, genuinely happy to hear some good news after this whirlwind of bad things.

"He didn't come with you?"

"No, he preferred to stay on the island with the others."

Jay looked at Rashid with a look like he should tell him, because the situation is only getting worse. Obviously Mal noticed and at the right moment she would ask.

"Well, Genius is here, but he's in a very bad way and I think you know that our magic is running out."

"Yes, we're aware."

The blue man was lying on the bed and looked like a hologram, as his image seemed to appear and disappear in front of them.

"What's up, System Failure?"

He joked with Rashid, even though his appearance was flawed.

"Genius? What..."

Evie asked, but she couldn't even finish her sentence.

"What do you think a Genius is made of, guys?"

He joked, feeling his magic drain from him.

"What are we going to do now, Rashid?"

Mal asked worriedly as she realized that there was no way the magician could get up.

"Don't worry, Mal, I knew you'd come. The little guy there warned me weeks before."

He said, pointing at Carlos.

"What? He was our teacher, have you forgotten? I had his e-mail address and before we were expelled from the Hollow Pixie, I sent him a message."

Carlos explained himself; after all, in the confusion, there hadn't been time to let them know they were coming.

"Well, my magic doesn't go any further than that...so...so..." The big blue man said between grimaces. "Come here, Mal." The girl went to his side of the bed and took his hand. "You don't need me to be creative, you already do that, do you know when creativity is born? In difficult times and you Mal know how to do that. Here, Creativity Magic, the teaching you already have." Genius was about to put the magic in the heart for Mal to absorb, but Rashid stopped him.

"Not yet Mal, this is the last magic, remember? We don't know how your body will react."

Rashid reminded her of what he had said at the beginning of everything. He didn't know how her body would react to so much magic and if her magic was already unstable enough with the last three. She couldn't risk it.

"You're right, let's get out of the palace. Genius, I promise, everything will turn out fine."

Mal said sincerely to him.

"I know it will."

He said smiling, one of his last smiles.

Mal and the others were walking through the palace corridors again. Rashid was right, that was the last ingredient and not that it was possible, but what if she exploded? It was best that she absorbed the magic outside, away from everyone, so that no one would get hurt.

"Where's Ben?"

Mal's question was direct. She kept her concentration on the dome containing the Genie's magic, but she still remembered the strange looks between Rashid and Jay minutes before they entered the room.

"Mal, we'll talk about it later, okay? You have the dome in your hands and I don't want to stress you out."

Rashid asked fearfully.

"So, I have reason to be stressed? Good, good to know that even through the apocalypse you won't stop keeping secrets from me."

She said ironically and already nervous.

"Mal, if we haven't told you, it's because we know you and you always worry too much."

Carlos said.

"Do I worry too much, Carlos? Are you saying that I almost lose all of you every day and worry too much?"

"Your Highness, King Naveen requests permission to bring some residents of New Orleans here to be seen by a doctor."

The royal messenger came to tell Jasmine.

"What happened to them?"

The ruler wanted to know.

"It seems to me that the magic there is running out fast. Faster than in other places."

Rashid and the others looked at each other again and Mal noticed.

"What is it?"

She asked, her eyes shining again.

"Ben's there."

Jay confessed.

"Ben what?"

She almost dropped the dome.

"He's in New Orleans."

Mal walked out of the palace, taking advantage of the fact that it was close by to get some air. It was too much for her. However, that was her worst mistake.

As she left the place, she felt a kind of invisible field pass through her, something passing through and penetrating her skin. A pain, the worst she had ever felt in her life. An emptiness, guilt and suffering invaded her heart. She couldn't stand it and fell to her knees on the floor, putting her hand on her chest. She gave a loud cry of pain that brought everyone to her, but they all felt the same way. Except for Rashid, who ran over to Mal.

That's it, worse than taking away a Fairy Tale is having it and not being able to live it.
