In the midst of that great infinity of sand, Agatha concentrated for her big moment. It is her greatest spell, her greatest weapon, twenty years from now people will remember this glorious day.

"The most beautiful moment is now a sweet memory, the greatest pain now consumes you. The pain that never leaves takes over. Where love is born is also where emptiness begins. I now make every happily ever after end, every remnant of happiness, everything that is, ceases to be, everything that should happen, begins now. Hearts have separated, that's all there is to it."

No one would ever be able to explain this confusion of meaningless words gaining power. And who would know how she did it? The reality was that when she finished saying it, a strong magic could be felt and a great invisible curtain began to pass. In the desert it would have no effect, but when it reached the first heart in love it would eventually happen...which it was happen.

She smiled. She gave a beautiful, evil, happy smile before disappearing and returning to Auradon. If her logic was right, by the end of the day all the kingdoms would be affected.

Auradon

"Did you have a good trip, Your Majesty?"

One of the castle servants asked. They were afraid of her, so they respected and obeyed her.

"The best of my life." She smiled again. Her parents would be proud if they saw her now. "What's your name?" She asked the man serving her.

"Chip."

He answered, scared to death.

"Do you love someone?"

"Yes, ma'am."

She smiled.

"It was really nice to meet you, kid."

Within hours the whole world they loved and the history they had built up over time would be destroyed and something new would be seen. It wasn't a war, because two people need to fight for there to be one and who would be the fool to try to fight it?

That was it, Agatha won, at least she thought so. Now it is time to think about how she would organize her new kingdom.

Agrabah

"Mal? What are you feeling? What are you all feeling? I need you to talk to me."

Rashid asked nervously as he saw the quartet writhing in pain in front of him

"I can't explain it... there! My heart hurts like it's never hurt before!"

Carlos tried to say, as he massaged his chest in an attempt to make the pain stop.

"It feels like they're squeezing my heart."

Jay said with tears in his eyes. Rashid watched the guards fall to the ground, it seemed that the strange magic was slowly affecting everyone.

"What's happening to us?"

"You have your true loves..." The wizard tried to analyze. "Her last spell involved that, ending Fairy Tales." He didn't understand and certainly couldn't see the complexity of it. It wasn't just taking away their love, it was stopping them from loving, if she did that there would be no Fairy Tales.

"Ben."

Mal lay there in agony and immediately thought of her true love.

"Ben."

He said remembering that, Benjamin was the son of another true love, who was also a Fairy Tale, once that field of magic hit Adam and Belle, there was no telling what would happen to him or anyone else.

"Rashid make it stop."

Jay asked, unable to bear the pain. The wizard snapped back to reality. Mal couldn't face Agatha in that condition.

Poor, poor Rashid. A thought came to him, an almost suicidal thought, because to use magic in a field where it was running out was to ask for death. Although, he hadn't been hit by any of the spells and his magic wasn't affected and he felt perfectly fine, I mean, compared to them, he was fine.

There was a reason for this. Rashid wasn't a character, meaning he had no story, no happy ending, so Agatha's spells couldn't affect him.

"Okay, think Rashid, think go..." He said to himself, as he analyzed the possible solutions, which were scarce. Then something occurred to him. What if he wiped her head like he did with Harry years ago? Was that a good idea? It had to be. "Mal, just bear with me." He asked, picking up the dome containing the Genie's magic, before taking something out. Mal, unable to speak, just trusted him. "1,2 e 3."

As soon as the magic was poured into her, there was a long sigh from her and it was as if she had received a great shock to her heart, causing her to stand up and quickly fall to the ground. What were the chances of getting out of this alive? Each magic clashed with the other, everything she had absorbed with the magic already in her.

Had he made a good choice in letting Mal absorb so much magic? He had to wait to at least hear her heartbeat. All the teachings of the masters added to his own magic... should he have done that? For three long minutes, nothing was heard. Not a heartbeat, absolutely nothing.

"What happened to her?"

Evie struggled to ask.

"Calm down."

He asked, waiting for her to come back, so that he could take the memory away, even if he had managed to master all the knowledge, she still wouldn't be able to cope with the pain, especially if her Ben was no longer with them.

It took a while, but they could finally see Mal breathing again, although she didn't open her eyes. Great.

"What are you going to do?"

Carlos De Vill asked.

"Forgive me, but bear, girl." He begged, looking at the unconscious girl.

"Disparaître comme um brouillard, ne vous souvenez plus de votre passé, tout est dans le sentiment, vos souvenirs n'existent plus sans mon consentement"

"Disappear like a fog, don't remember your past, everything is in the feeling, your memories no longer exist without my consent"

Twenty years later, he was repeating the same spell he had done and regretting it? That it wouldn't happen was all he could ask.

"What did you do?"

Evie asked fearfully.

When he recited the spell, a blue bubble formed in his hands, pulling out her memories, but this time he had perfected it, all that would be removed would be that which involved Ben and everything to do with any kind of love, now the problem with this spell was: what kind of Mal would be left of it.

Long, crucial minutes passed before the green eyes finally opened, shining as if it were the first time they had seen the world.

"Who are you?"
