Two years had passed since Agatha and the apocalypse in Auradon.
The consequences of that disaster were still being felt and it seemed that they would never stop finding out about Auradon's dark past.
Ben and Mal made their union official for the public, it was a simple wedding by Auradonian standards, but the important thing was that Mal was made queen. Things were harder than they imagined, getting everything back on track was taking more work than it should have.
But the worst was yet to come. It was in the midst of everyone rebuilding their lives that the most unexpected thing happened. Good news for some and disaster for others. Mal was going to have her first child and she had plenty of reason to stay as she was.
The magic of the scepter wasn't gone yet, it was still inside her...a baby born of good and evil...magic like that shouldn't be born...power seekers might want magic. The Dark Queen may want to take back what is yours...
