This episode here takes place, days after episode 13. It took them a while to get to their next destination which was Greece. I honestly wanted it to be more specific, and considering the fact that episode 14: Greece's Pieces is considered as quite a controversial episode. I wanted to add in a bit more drama and some slight shock to the audience by adding in something unexpected. It's also part of a certain character's development. Hope you all enjoy!

In the Plane

Third Person POV

It had been days since Gwen told Duncan about her Dad's anniversary of his death. However, Duncan understood why and he promised that he wouldn't even dare, say a word to anyone. After, they watched the sunset days ago, Gwen remembered that Duncan gave her a silent, but quick kiss on her cheek which shocked her in surprise, and before she could react, he was gone. All that was left behind was a blushing goth girl, who placed her hand on her right cheek to the exact spot where Duncan kissed it. Then, she decided to go back to meet the others in her team.

Next thing, Gwen thought about doing something for Duncan as a way to say thanks, so she did a quick sketch of him, and when he wasn't looking, she folded it into a crumble gently with the label "Duncan" on it and placed it into the confessional. Chris apparently just announced that for their challenge, it will be based on the Olympics, to which Chris incorrectly stated as being held in Italy, much to the confusion of the other contestants and Gwen was one of those who pointed it out that the Olympics were actually held in Greece, much to Chris's annoyance and disdain.

Then, as Heather and Alejandro started to throw out insults to each other about their teams, Duncan gave Gwen a light smile, to which Gwen responded back with a warm smile, as Duncan also responded back with wiggling his unibrow at her. Gwen couldn't help, but roll her eyes in amusement and raise her eyebrows back. Little did she know, that a certain other girl was glaring at Gwen from behind. It certainly didn't help, when Courtney confronted Gwen about it, and Gwen just said that she was looking at his mohawk, to which Courtney replied with it being part of her list to change him. Honestly, this made Gwen very uncomfortable and annoyed, in her eyes, Duncan doesn't need ANY change, he is perfect just the way he is.

Later at Greece

Gwen's POV

As soon as we arrived at Greece, I couldn't help but just gaze at the monuments in awe. What can I say? I'm a bit of a nerd at heart. Chris bring the typical man he is, basically gave us rules on the challenges. One challenge was for someone to go in the monuments area and face off against a bear, who is wearing a gold medal which is the reward. Oh yeah, I'm game, then suddenly I notice as I voted myself to go, so did Duncan at the SAME TIME. Great.. not only will we be facing off with one another, but also some certain people may think we are secretly dating. That's the last thing we both want. Sadly, Chris thought it would be fun to give us Greek clothing that warriors used to wear, oh how fun...

As soon I got changed in the plane, I grumbled about having to wear it. I didn't exactly hate it, but not really my style. It was just a white cream Greek dress, with a headband covered in gold, and I decided to plat my bangs just for getting into character I guess?, my shoes were the typical sandals and last, but not least had a rubbish tin lid as my shield. As soon as I walked out of the plane, I could feel eyes staring at me, not just everyone's, but a certain punk's, who I will confess looked like a bloody actor from Terminator. I mean flipping heck, he looked gorgeous!

Duncan's POV

Normally, I am not a fan of wearing this kind of stuff, but I can already imagine the ladies wanting to claw the clothes off me.. Then I looked at Gwen, and by god... oh my.. She looked very stunning, and beautiful.. then I realised Courtney was glaring daggers at me which made me realise that this challenge will be harder than I thought. Together, Gwen and I walked down and I could already feel the sexual tension from the boys staring at her, which irritated me to no end. Chris then gave me a rubbish tin lid as a shield as well, and as soon as Gwen and I both looked at the bear, we cringed and gulped in fear. Then, to make things worse, Chris lead our respective teams to another challenge, well.. I guess it's better than Courtney gawking at my every movement, and maybe I can help Gwen out with the challenge for her sake.

As soon as the others left, Gwen and I looked at each other, we both shook hands to who the best winner will be, as soon as we touched hands, I realised her's were so small, in comparison to mine, and it fitted with mine. I then realised Gwen was looking at me playfully and I let go of her hand straight away, silently cursing myself as I felt my cheeks get warm. We wished each other luck and both took our seperate paths.

After the second challenge

Third Person POV

After the teams have come back from their previous challenge, they came back to watch Gwen and Duncan in action. Unfortunately, Duncan wasn't having much luck as the bear was pretty much targeting him, much to Courtney and Gwen's dismay. Gwen was secretly hiding behind, observing strategies on how to get the medal from the bear's neck. But she also didn't want to hurt Duncan further, the worst part was the damn bell notified that Gwen and Duncan both had to sing. As they sung, they couldn't help, but feel like something is forcing them from both behind to try and get them fusing together, much to the embarrassment of them.

Then, suddenly the bear got Duncan while Gwen was in mid verse, and there it was her chance to get the medal, as she climbed on one of the monuments and jumped on the bear's back and was able to snatch the medal. Then, when she saw Duncan getting beaten up further to the point of blood showing, Gwen knew that this had gone far enough, but everyone just stared in shock and she heard Courtney wailing. Everything was noise to Gwen, as she eyed Duncan and the bear. The bear was on top of him, Duncan was already covered in little scratches and had a black eye on his left eye. That's what it took for Gwen, she just saw red.

Gwen then tossed the medal to her team, as she quickly sprinted and crawled underneath the bear, to Duncan's aid. When she saw him, she knew he was in and out of consciousness and looked down at him and then his team, they seemed to understand the message as both Owen and Alejandro carried Duncan out of harms way. Gwen couldn't help, but glare at the bear, she knew that she crossed his boundary and his prey, but she didn't care. All she cared about was getting revenge on this beats for hurting her beloved friend. As the bear opened it's jaws quickly, Gwen held her shield protectively until the bear swatted it away and chopped down on her left hand and arm, causing her to scream in anguish and pain. Everyone was horrified and Duncan could hear her scream and was about to run over to help, but Owen and Alejandro blocked him to prevent him from getting more hurt. Gwen was able to quickly kick the bear in the face making it let go of her left hand and arm.

As Gwen got her left hand and arm, she was panting and hissing as the pain seethed in deeply. There she saw were deep bite marks and a long laceration across her arm. The sight of it nearly made her gag and faint, until she saw the bear charging at her and she closed her eyes waiting. Nothing.. there was nothing.. next thing, she knew was that she saw Chef holding a tranquilliser which was fired the the bear. Chris and Chef didn't realise that the bear would be this aggressive and predatory. Gwen felt numb, and noticed the world falling beneath her as she hit the ground. Chris came rushing over quickly, as did Duncan and team Amazon. To Gwen, all she saw were blurred figures and muffled voices, from what she could hear were also high pitch squeals and gasps, then felt someone lightly shaking her, it was Duncan, she couldn't hear him but could only her name a few times, but she could've sworn that she saw Duncan had tears in his eyes. Then, everything went black and fuzzy.

Duncan's POV

No, No, No, this can't be happening it's a nightmare! Right?! He didn't care that he had a black eye and a lot of bruising and some scratches. He desperately wanted to take Gwen is his arms and then hold her, cuddle her, help her, anything! He thought about picking her up, but unfortunately due to his injuries, he couldn't much to his anger. So, surprisingly it was Chef who carried the unconscious Gwen to the plane and Chris helped me walk back on the plane. Therefore, Chris said for now, that this challenge will be discontinued until further notice, which surprised the whole cast as they and I knew Chris would normally not give a toss about their welfare, but clearly he does have a heart sort of.

As soon as Chef placed Gwen in a medical bed, which was the hidden hospital room. He placed an oxygen mask on her, and quickly placed little needles all over her and finally, wrapped that hideous injury on her left arm to her left hand. I definitely knew for a fact that was going to be one heck of a scar. I sat on a waiting chair, holding onto her right hand and Chef quickly scanned my injuries and gave me an ice pack for my eye. I guess both Gwen and I will definitely be hurting right now, heh. But, I felt like this was all my fault... I should've protected her.. I could've helped her.. I watched her heart monitor and noticed that it's beating rapidly. I yelled for Chef and Chris, both of them came in urgently as Chris ushered me out of the room. I wanted to stay in there! But Chris slowly got me to budge and get out of the room as we opened the door and saw everyone standing here looking worked as heck. Good, they should be worried. Slowly, I walked my way onto the couch in the immunity room and placed my hands in my face.

Yeah... very sorry for the slight graphic chapter. I thought it would make sense that normally any animal can be predatory and in this case for fighting a bear, you would at least expect it to be aggressive. But poor Gwen and poor Duncan!
