Author's Notes
Welcome back, my fellow readers. I have already returned with the next chapter.
Why so soon? Simple. I had already written these two episodes. I just decided to post the first one a little earlier to see the reception this story received. I am very happy to know that you already like this story.
Don't wait for the next chapter so soon, because I haven't written it yet, but I already have an idea of how I want things to unfold. You guys should wait like a week for the next chapter, or less.
Now, here I am going to respond to the reviews I have received. I'll be honest, I didn't expect to have 3 reviews already so soon. Thank you very much.
AnnoyingAlarmClock: I see that you have already chosen your favorite. Let's see how far Karen can go.
Gucci Mane LaFlare: My goal was to create a cast where everyone has something to contribute. None of them was really created to be a filler character.
Candela Monsoon: Yes, that's me. I simply made the decision to change my username. From now on, my username will be Fantasy Lord 77.
With all that cleared up, it's time to read the chapter.
Enjoy!
Total Drama: Enchanted
Chapter 2 - An Explosive Beginning (Part 2)
We continue right where we left off in the previous chapter. Chris was standing in front of the starting line, ready to start the race. All campers got into position to start running. After a few seconds of tense silence, Chris yelled:
"Begin!"
To the misfortune of the host, he was in front of the line at the start of the race, that is, he was in the way of the campers, who did not think of surrounding him and instead, passed over him, who fell to the ground for that and was trampled on by campers.
At the start of the race, everyone ran straight into the forest. Some fought for first place, while others only fought each other.
"Get out of my way, cowgirl! You get in the way!" Nigel said, pushing Maggie and knocking her to the ground, as he stepped forward with a smile.
"Get up, comrade!" Chantal said, helping Maggie up. "We can't let those buccaneers defeat us!"
"He won't," Maggie assured, frowning.
Raymond and Clover were up front, in front of everyone. They were both competing with each other, determined not to let the other pass.
"Don't even think I'm going to make it easy for you, buddy!" Clover yelled, passing Raymond. "I am in better physical condition than you! You will never be able to reach me!"
"We'll see that, spy!" Raymond said, before jumping up in the air and kicking off skates that came out of his calves very quickly, which adapted to his shoes.
Raymond begins to skate and pushes Clover, knocking her to the ground and taking the lead.
"That is not fair!" Clover yelled.
"Life is not fair!" Raymond yelled back.
A little behind them was Agatha, closely followed by Yoshi, who didn't seem very interested in winning.
Agatha turns to see her opponent.
"Get lost, bug! You will never reach me!" Mocked Agatha, who sees her way again and crashes her forehead with a low tree branch, then falls to the ground.
"You should pay more attention to your surroundings" Yoshi advised, with a small laugh, as he stepped forward and left Agatha biting the dust.
"This is war!" an angry Agatha growled.
Confessional
Yoshi - "Agatha must learn to control her temper. If she continues like this, it is very likely that she will be eliminated soon."
Back at the front of the race, Raymond was ahead, with Clover trying to catch up, but the distance between the two of them was getting longer.
"Just give up, girl! You will never reach me ...!" BOOM!
Raymond is blown up into the air when a mine explodes below him, crashing down next to Clover.
"Welcome to the first phase of the race!" Chris announced over the speakers. "This area of the forest is full of mines! Take good care of where you step, because a false step would be the end of the game for you!".
"How are we supposed to cross a minefield?" Clover groaned.
From behind, Yoshi passes them at full speed and runs towards a tree, then rest his feet on the trunk and make a great leap upwards, while running vertically on the trunk, which leads him to the top of the tree. From there, it begins to move from branch to branch.
Clover and Raymond's jaws dropped.
"There is your answer" Raymond smiled, following Yoshi's example and climbing the tree.
Confessional
Clover - "If they torture us with mines in the first episode, I don't want to imagine what will come next."
As they both climbed the trees, some others reached the minefield.
"If there is a real minefield, then the only safe path would be through the trees," said Chantal.
"I like the plan. Let's go" Maggie ordered.
The two girls climb the trees, followed by Agatha, Nigel, Tony, Pearl, Bianca, and Sonya.
Sonya then noticed that one member of the group was missing. "Hey, party animal!" She called Julien, who was still on the ground. "Not coming?".
Julien was just standing there, admiring the minefield. He heard the singer calling him.
"Go ahead! I will continue on my own."
Julien begins to back up several meters, until...
"The party starts now!".
And with that said, Julien runs to the minefield, until he takes a great leap, and lands on one of the mines, which explodes under his feet. Julien uses the explosion to propel himself and fly into the air, over the trees, with a shout of "YA-HOO-HOO-HOO-HOOEY!".
Everyone in the trees heard Julien's scream, and saw the party animal flying through the air above them.
Julien falls back to the ground and repeats the same process of using the mine blast as an impulse to jump through the air.
"That boy is crazy" declared Sonya. They all agree.
Julien walks past the boys and blew up another mine underneath them, causing Pearl to suddenly slip and fall off the branch, and just before falling to the minefield, she is rescued by Nigel.
Pearl lets out a sigh of relief. "Thanks" she smiled.
"No problem," replied Nigel.
They both return to the top of the tree, where they are helped by Karen.
"Are you all right?" asked a worried Karen.
"Yes, we are fine" Pearl said. Nigel nods in agreement.
"Good," said Karen, with a smile. "You were lucky to have your knight in shining armor there to save you."
"Yes" Pearl blushes. "What good luck I have."
Confessional
Pearl- (She lets out a sigh) "I think I'm in love."
Nigel- "The more I encourage and help Pearl, the more she will trust me. She will be too distracted when the time comes and will have to suffer the consequences."
Yoshi was jumping very easily through the branches, ahead of everyone.
The path seemed totally clear, until in the middle of a jump ...
"BOO!" Diego shouted, jumping right in front of the warrior.
The assault caught Yoshi by surprise, who ended up slipping off the branch he landed on and falling from the tree. He narrowly catches the log to save himself from falling into the mines.
Yoshi frowns as he sees a laughing Diego, who was hanging upside down, his feet clinging to a branch.
"What is your problem?" Yoshi growled.
"What? I just wanted to have fun!" Diego said, even with laughter. "Why? Did I scare you?"
"No, but I admit that if I take myself by surprise. That distracted me and slipped me" Yoshi explained.
"Ok. What you say" Diego replied, incredulous.
"Speaking of which, how did you manage to do it?" asked the warrior. "I was trained to feel and detect any danger, but I never knew you were there."
"Maybe you had your teachers, but I lived in the wild" Diego explained. "I learned from animals. They are the true masters of the jungle" he replied with a smile.
"Impressive" Yoshi said, with a small smile. "But it was just this one time. Next time I'll watch for another one of your tricks."
Diego laughs. "I already like you."
Confessional
Yoshi - "I must admit that this boy Diego has more skill than I thought. I must not underestimate him again."
The rest of the cast arrives at the minefield, not because they were slow, but because they decided to walk. Those were Hunter, Otis, Ginger, Lucas, Rita, Erika, and Felix.
"We must take the same path as the others through the trees," Rita declared.
"Why don't we go on the ground? Look, it's totally clear" Lucas said.
"Didn't you listen to Chris?" Felix asked. "That is a mine-ridden field."
Lucas raises an eyebrow. "But I don't see any gold."
Otis pats his face. "Not that kind of mine. He talks about explosive mines. Bombs."
Hunter watched intently in the field, as if studying him.
"What are you doing?" Rita asked.
"I'm trying to track down the mines," replied the hunter. "I am a hunting master, and I know this trick well. I can find the exact location of the mines."
"And... why are we going to cross that field of bombs?" Lucas asked.
"Because we must finish this race" Erika replied, pointing out the obvious.
Lucas opens his eyes. "Are we in a race?! Why didn't anyone tell me?!"
"Hey, wait!" Otis tried to call him, but it was too late.
Lucas started running straight through the minefield, while all the mines were exploding around him, but the boy was running so fast that the explosions couldn't reach him, and he didn't even notice it.
The others who remained with their eyes open.
"Well... he just cleared the way. We can continue" Otis spoke, not knowing what to think.
Diego and Yoshi end up crossing the mine forest, only to find the entrance to a dark cave.
"Welcome to the second phase of the race!" Chris announced over the speakers. "This part consists of finding the exit from the caves, which will take you to the last part of the race! Good luck!"
Before they entered the cave, they heard a scream in the approaching air.
"YA-HOO-HOO-HOO-HOOEY!".
Right next to them, Julien landed, who had dust marks, but looked pretty good.
"Aww, is it over?" groaned a disappointed Julien.
"Were you jumping through the minefield?" Yoshi asked, unable to believe what he just witnessed.
"Sure! It was so much fun! You should try it" Julien said with a smile.
"No thanks" was Yoshi's reply.
Before they could continue talking, they saw how many explosions were heard approaching, until Lucas ran out of the forest, who did not stop and crashed into the wall of the cave.
"That was spectacular, dude!" Julien smiled.
"That was the wildest thing I've ever seen!" Diego said.
Yoshi just stared at the three boys, totally incredulous.
Confessional
Julien - "I thought mine was the best, but that Lucas boy has real guts".
Yoshi - "I just hope the madness of those three is not contagious."
"Let's not waste any more time. Let's go" Yoshi ordered.
"Very well, my friends. Follow me" said Diego. "I will guide you."
"Are you sure?" asked the warrior. "Don't think he didn't trust you for that, but..." he didn't know how to finish the sentence.
"Don't worry. I'm an expert tracker" said Diego. "Let's go".
The four boys enter the cave, but seconds after advancing, everything was completely black and dark, leaving only the boys' eyes visible.
"Hey! Who turned off the sun?" Lucas groaned.
The four of them were advancing, but suddenly Yoshi had a strange feeling.
"Uhm, Diego. Did you just smell me back there?" he asked awkwardly.
"Right now? No," replied his guide.
As they kept moving forward again, it was Julien's turn to have a strange feeling, but worse.
"Hey, Diego. Did you just lick my entire arm?"
"No. I am up to here" was the response of his guide.
"Hm, how strange."
"Julien. Pass me your neon sticks" ordered the warrior.
When Julien passes him some wands of light, Yoshi breaks them and waves them, making them better illuminate the place, only to reveal that they were completely surrounded by strange creatures similar to gremlins, who growled and attacked the boys.
The four of them screamed in horror as the sticks broke, leaving them totally in the dark.
Confessional
Chris McLean - "Yeah. Adding robot gremlins in that cave was my idea. Did you see their faces?" (he laughs out loud).
Back at the cave entrance, Raymond and Clover had managed to get there.
"I beat you, girl," Raymond scoffed, putting away his skates.
"This race is not over yet," said Clover.
Just then, the others arrived who traveled through the trees.
"Hi guys" Pearl greeted.
"Are we in first place?" Agatha asked.
"I don't think so," Clover replied. "Yoshi passed us in the beginning."
"And Julien probably caught up with him. He was just jumping through the mines," Sonya explained, still incredulous at Julien's route.
"That martial artist thinks he's so good," Agatha growled. "Out of my way. I have a race to win."
"Not so fast, comrade" Chantal stopped her. "If we go in there, we are very likely to get lost. We must stay together."
"Please. You guys are just going to end up dragging me into a dead end," said Agatha. "I'll be on my own" she runs through the dark tunnel.
"Agatha! Wait!" Clover tried to stop her, but it was too late.
"See you at the finish line!" Agatha's voice was lost in the distance.
"I like the way she thinks," Nigel said, entering the cave, while holding Pearl's hand. "Come with me!".
Pearl smiles and enters the cave with him.
"I'll see you at the finish line, spy," Raymond said, entering the cave.
"We'll see!" Clover yelled, following him into the dark.
Confessional
Clover - "Normally I should be a better teammate and get over that lawsuit, but there's something about people like Raymond that just irritates me".
"I guess the word team means nothing to them," Sonya groaned.
"We can't do anything about it," said Chantal. "We can only overcome this challenge, all together."
"A girls' alliance?" Bianca suggested.
"Exactly," Maggie said, but then she thought of the suggestion again and realized something. "Wait. Where's Tony?"
"I saw him go into the cave while you guys were talking" explained Karen. "I guess he has no interest in the teams either."
"It's his problem" Chantal growled.
Confessional
Chantal- "I usually have to take care of my comrades, but if those insubordinates do not want to respect others and go their way, it is not my problem."
"How are we going to cross that cave?" Maggie asked. "It is so dark there that we cannot see our own hands, even if they are in front of us."
Bianca pulls out her cell phone. "My cell phone has a flashlight app," she said, turning on a flashlight from the cell phone's camera.
"Excellent" Maggie smiled. "Lead the way, mate!"
The girls enter the cave, with Bianca in front with her flashlight, just as the last campers arrive.
"We stay together?" Ginger asked.
"No!" they all said in unison, when they entered the cave and separated.
"Don't worry, Ginger" Erika said, standing next to her. "I will stay with you."
"Thank you, Erika" Ginger thanked them as they both enter the cave.
Back with the first group, they were running aimlessly, until they reached a more spacious cavern with some lighting thanks to some crystals and stalactites
All four recompose themselves from the creatures' attack, although they were seen to have several scratches.
"I think we finally lost them," said Diego.
"Is everyone okay?" Yoshi asked. Everyone nods in response.
"It looks like those rabbits were angry," Lucas groaned.
"Do any of you have a plan, my friends?" Diego asked.
"I have one..." Julien said, reaching into his pocket.
"You won't blow up the cave with us inside," Yoshi declared.
Everyone was thinking of some solution, until they heard footsteps approaching. Yoshi prepares to face him just in case.
A silhouette appears, only to emerge from the darkness, revealing that it is only Tony.
"Uh, it's just you." Yoshi relaxes.
"What are they doing here?" asked the newcomer.
"We got lost, and we were attacked by rabid rabbits," said Lucas.
"Rabbits? I don't know what you're talking about, but I haven't seen anything on my way here" Tony said.
"They must have gone another way," Yoshi supposed. "Then we can continue where we got to."
"That place is too dark. We are going to get lost again" Julien said.
"I can guide you," said Tony. "My eyesight is very good. I have experience moving around in the dark."
"I trust that more than having an ape guiding us," Yoshi said. "I follow you".
"This way" called Tony.
Everyone started following him in the dark, but Diego had a serious expression during that talk, something unusual for him.
Confessional
Diego - "When I smelled Tony, his essence seemed too peculiar to me. I couldn't understand him well, but what I do know is that he's hiding something."
Elsewhere, Raymond was running aimlessly, until he collided with another stone wall, again.
"Where's that stupid exit?" he growled.
He keeps running around, until he ends up colliding, not with a wall, but with someone.
"Ow, what was that?" he groaned.
"It seems that you are lost" said a feminine voice, with a mocking tone.
Raymond groans when he realizes who the voice is: Clover.
"How did you find me?".
He looks up and sees a couple of little green lights.
"My sunglasses have night vision" explained the spy.
"How ironic. Isn't that cheating?"
"I'm not hearing Chris complain, so no problem."
"So, you came all the way here to mock me?"
"At first yes, but seeing you crash through the walls without stopping gave me a bit of a shame," she said. "So, I decided to come help you."
"No thanks".
With that response, Clover shrugs. "Oh well. See ya." She begins to walk away.
"Hey! You can't stand a joke!" Raymond moaned, reaching for her, while Clover just smiled, happy that her trick worked.
As they walked in silence, Raymond tripped and fell to the ground.
"What was that?" groaned the acrobat.
"Get off me," growled another voice, with a Russian accent.
Clover watches with her glasses and sees that Raymond ran into another girl.
"We found Agatha."
Confessional
Agatha - "Okay. Maybe going on my own in a dark cave wasn't the best idea... There, I said it. Happy?"
The first group continued to advance through the dark tunnels, with Tony as their guide, until they collided with another group.
"Ow, what the hell?" another voice growled.
Tony watches and discovers that they were the third group, except for Erika and Ginger. It turns out that Hunter had crashed into Julien.
"How did you find us?" Yoshi asked.
"How did YOU find us?" Hunter growled back.
"We were just passing through here" explained the warrior. "And you guys seem to have formed an alliance too."
"No, we didn't," Rita replied. "We always went different paths, but those paths seemed to lead us to the same place, getting together again."
"And now it looks like he brought us together with you," added Otis.
"Tony can guide us to the exit. Join us if you want," Yoshi suggested.
"Fine" Hunter gave up. "After all, if I go on my own, I'll end up with you somehow again."
Tony begins to walk, while everyone follows him through the cave.
As they advanced, Rita couldn't help but be curious about her guide.
Confessional
Rita - "Hm, Tony's ability to see well in the dark strikes me as interesting. A normal person couldn't see as well in the dark unless they have something like night vision. I can feel something like cheating here."
In another area, Erika and Ginger were, traveling along a specific path.
"Hey Erika. Doesn't it bother you if I ask you a question?" Ginger spoke.
"Technically, you just asked a question" Erika explained.
"How can you cross through this darkness? I see absolutely nothing."
"That's because I..." she paused for a moment "...have a superior human eyesight. I have had it from my... birth".
"Great!" said Ginger.
"Well, we got to the exit" said Erika, pointing to a light in front.
"Yay! We made it!" Ginger held, running towards the light, but at the last second of leaving, she is stopped by Erika.
"Watch out!" she said, pointing outward, when the image became clear.
It turns out that there was no path, but the exit led to a cliff and a free fall into the water.
"I see the light!" another voice shouted.
They both turned and saw Lucas running towards the exit without being aware of the danger.
"Freedooooooooooooooom…!" SPLASH! Lucas falls into the water.
"And with that stumble, Lucas takes the lead!" Chris laughs over the speakers. "The last part is a swimming race! You must cross the water, towards the mainland! From there, you must find your way to the dining room to win!"
"What's the trick here?" Yoshi demanded. "In the cave we were attacked by gremlins. I'm sure there will be some surprises here too."
"Of course, I must warn you that the waters are infested with...!"
"Aww, dolphins!" said a cheerful Lucas, seeing fins swimming around him.
"Uhm, Lucas. Those are actually..." Erika tries to warn him, but Otis covers her mouth.
"Let him figure it out for himself."
The flippers surrounding Lucas rise, revealing they are sharks.
"Ooohhh, they were sharks" Lucas laughs realizing his confusion. Then remember the fact that he was surrounded by sharks. "Ah! Sharks!"
Erika jumps into the water, landing with an extended fist on a shark, hitting it hard.
"I like that girl!" Hunter said, before jumping into the water.
All the others proceed to jump into the water, knowing that the race is not over yet.
In the control room, Chris and Chef were watching the challenge unfold. Then Chris starts to think of something.
"Wait. We've only seen the gremlins once," Chris recalled. "What happened to you?".
Chef was uncomfortable responding. "Well…"
In the cave, the gremlins were touring a dimly lit area, until they sensed the presence of a subject in the darkest area.
They approach to scare him, but being too close, a white eye appears, while the boy seemed to be growing in size above them, with a huge creepy smile, while his shadow seemed to darken the place more and more, until…
"HERE IS THE SCARE OF YOUR LIVES".
The boy opens his teeth when he exhales a dark gas like smoke.
This time, it was the gremlins' turn to flee in terror.
In the control room, Chef saw all of that, shaking with fear at what he was witnessing, until the lights in the venue went out, while the displays suffered from static, just as the boy turned his smiling face toward the screen.
Out of nowhere, the subject magically appears in front of Chef, while his smoke envelops the cook, making him scream in horror.
Confessional
Chef Hatchet - (He was curled up in a ball, trembling with fear).
Back in the caves, Clover, Raymond and Agatha were touring the caves, until they see the exit light.
"See you, losers!" Raymond scoffed, before running to the exit.
He comes out of the cave, only to have a free fall into the water, while screaming.
Clover laughs at the acrobat stumbling.
Before they jumped, the girl group arrived, along with Nigel and Pearl.
"Hi, girls," Pearl greeted. She notices Clover's laugh. "Did we miss something?"
"Oh, nothing. Just the classic fail of an acrobat," Clover laughs.
Confessional
Karen - "Wow. I can see that a sort of rivalry is already brewing between Clover and Raymond. Oh, that will be a lot of fun to watch."
All remaining campers jump into the water.
In the water, everyone was swimming towards the beach, while Erika seemed very busy with the sharks.
"Sorry, aquatic creatures, but I can't let you attack my companions here" said Erika, while fighting with the sharks.
In the swimming race, Agatha was starting to regain ground and was ahead of everyone, until something caught her by the leg.
"Hey! Who does he think he is?" Agatha growled, before turning to see who was holding her back. She opens her eyes in surprise.
"What is she doing here!?"
"I forgot to mention it! By popular demand, we've brought everyone's favorite mutant shark back! Fang!"
Fang flashes his huge, sharp-toothed smile and greets the camera sinisterly.
Instead of showing concern or fear, Agatha just groans in frustration.
Confessional
Agatha - "Ugh. I have seen that shark in the other seasons. That fish is not a real danger, but it can become a very sticky nuisance."
Fang was grabbing Agatha's leg, while smiling wickedly.
"Go ahead, bug! You are just tuna out of a can!" Agatha challenged him.
Fang growls and launches himself to attack Agatha, who seemed ready to break bones.
The others watch the fight, and see the opportunity to get ahead smoothly.
Already on the shore, the first to arrive are Clover and Raymond, who glare at each other and return to the race.
They both run with all their might, but Raymond uses his skates again and steps forward again.
Crossing some trees, he finally manages to see the dining room in the distance, so he speeds up and finally manages to get there.
"Finally!" Raymond celebrated, going to the dining room entrance to finally claim victory.
Raymond opens the door. "First in the... AAAAAHHHHH!" he screams in horror.
"What happened?" Clover asked, going towards the entrance.
"AAAAAHHHHH!" she yelled too, the same way Raymond did.
Standing just on the other side of the entrance, was Isaac, who seemed to be waiting for them.
"What is your problem?" Raymond groaned, recovering from the shock. "You said you didn't need to do that."
"But I love doing it," was the reply from the smiling Isaac.
"Wait," Clover spoke, while she also recovered from the fright. "If he's already here, does that mean...?"
"That Isaac is the winner of the race!" announced Chris, who comes out of the kitchen.
"B-But... how? You're not even wet!" Raymond asked.
"I have my ways."
A few minutes later, everyone had made it to the dining room, totally drenched, except for Agatha, who had several bruises from her fight with Fang.
"Do you need me to take care of your wounds, Agatha?" Erika offered to help.
"Don't bother. I have recovered from worse" Agatha explained. "If that baked fish had any brains, he'll think twice before challenging me again," she said with a smile.
"Well, you can tell him straight on, because he's right there," Lucas said, pointing to the dining room window.
Just like Lucas said, outside the dining room was Fang, who looked murderously at Agatha out the window, making a "I'm watching you" frown.
"Pathetic" was Agatha's response to Fang's threat.
"Okay, campers. We got to the moment that fans enjoy the most," Chris spoke, stepping onto the scene. "It is time to vote for someone off the island."
"You have time until dusk to leave your vows, and go to the elimination ceremony, where I will be waiting for you to kick one of you. See you tonight," said the host.
They all started going different ways, thinking of their options to be eliminated.
Hunter had decided to call Otis, Tony, Nigel, and Felix inside one of the cabins.
"Well, Hunter. We're all here already," said Nigel. "Why did you bring us here?"
"I want you to vote for Lucas" Hunter said directly.
"Why him specifically?" Otis asked.
"He is the dumbest here. Possibly dumber than Lindsay herself," Hunter explained. "You guys want to have him on the team?"
"What about the other guys?" Felix asked.
"Diego and Julien are crazy, and I very much doubt they will listen to us. Yoshi would not stoop to cruel plays like this. Isaac, is out of the question."
The four did not respond. What Hunter said is quite true.
"So ... what do you think?"
The four of them thought about it for a moment, before ending up accepting the offer.
Confessional
Hunter - "Nothing personal, Lucas. It's just business."
Meanwhile, in the other cabin, the girls seemed to be making the same plan as the boys. In the cabin, Clover had gathered Pearl, Maggie, Chantal, Sonya, Karen, and Bianca.
"Okay girls. I assume you all already know the reason for summoning them here" Clover spoke.
"The voting" Karen replied. "So, who do you propose we vote for?"
"Agatha".
"Hm. For a moment I thought you would ask us to vote for Raymond" Pearl commented.
"I want to vote for him too, but it is not the right time," said Clover. "On the other hand, Agatha is much more impulsive, and has already shown that she has no interest in cooperating. After all, I found her lost in the cave."
They all listened carefully, thinking about the spy's request.
"Are you convinced by the idea? Does anyone have an objection?"
They all shake their heads.
"Excellent" Clover smirked. "It is decided. We voted for Agatha."
Confessional
Clover - "No hard feelings, Agatha, but you must learn to be a better partner if you want a chance in this game."
Night had fallen, and they had all gone to the campfire area as ordered by the host, who had just arrived with a tray full of marshmallows.
"Campers. Welcome to the elimination ceremony," Chris introduced. "Everyone has already left their votes and made their decisions. I have only 21 marshmallows on my plate. Whoever does not receive a marshmallow will have to leave the island, and will never be able to return... ever."
Some of the campers were nervous, while others were calm.
"When I call your names, you will receive a marshmallow that ensures one more day of survival in the game and one step closer to victory."
Everyone was attentive. The tension could be felt around them.
"As the winner of the first challenge, Isaac gets the first marshmallow," said Chris, throwing the marshmallow at Isaac, who opens his mouth and swallows the marshmallow.
"The following people are also safe..."

There were only two campers left without a marshmallow: Agatha and Lucas.
Agatha was frowning as she noticed that there are people who want her out. Lucas was more confused than worried, since he did not understand what was happening.
"Agatha. Lucas. This is the last marshmallow for tonight." Chris lifts the marshmallow into the air. "Which of you two will drop out of the competition?"
Agatha and Lucas look at each other. Agatha with anger and nerves, while Lucas with confusion.
"The last marshmallow goes to..."

"Both!".
"What!?" all the contestants exclaimed at once.
Chris reaches into his shirt pocket, and pulls out a hidden marshmallow from there. He passes them on to Agatha and Lucas. No one has been eliminated in today's challenge.
"Did the rounds without eliminations return!?" Pearl asked excitedly.
Chris laughs at that comment. "No. Of course not. However, today I feel in a very good mood."
"But you were there all day making it clear that someone was going to be eliminated today!" Hunter growled.
"I know. I did it because I'm evil" Chris replied. "However, I decided to have mercy on you and not eliminate anyone, because there are important things to discuss."
They all fell silent.
"First: the teams" said the host. "It is time to assign them."
All were silent, interested in knowing who will be with whom.
"The first team will consist of... Clover, ...Otis, ...Agatha, ...Julien, ...Rita, ...Isaac, ...Erika, ...Diego, ...Bianca, ...Tony, ...and Pearl".
Julien and Diego had a high five. Bianca and Pearl hug each other with happiness. Erika tries to hug Isaac, but her creepy smile makes her change her mind.
Before they could say anything about it, Chris continued.
"And the second team will consist of... Nigel, ...Ginger, ...Felix, ...Karen, ...Hunter, ...Maggie, ...Yoshi, ...Sonya, ...Raymond, ...Chantal, ...and Lucas".
Chantal and Maggie nod with a smile. Hunter looks at his new companions with a frown. Nigel watched Pearl with the other team.
"And those are the teams," said Chris.
"What about the names?" Clover asked.
"We will decide tomorrow. Now, I must talk to you about another very important matter," said Chris. "The real reason why there will be no elimination today. I have to warn you of a dramatic twist!"
They all looked at him blankly.
"It is time to confess something that will leave you in shock. This season, we have entered a mole in the contest."
"A... mole?" Raymond repeated.
"That's correct. One of you is a contestant introduced by the show's production to sabotage your peers."
"WHAT!?".
"This mole can be any one of you. You have a job to track it down, catch it, and kick it out of the competition."
"But..." Pearl said, horrified. "You mean that someone here came to sabotage us all? That is impossible."
"Oh, it's very possible, my dear," said Chris. "There is a traitor hidden among you."
"That is unfair!" Hunter growled. "If one team has the mole, the other has the advantage!"
"That's not entirely true," said Chris. "This mole has orders to attack anyone, no matter who it is, or what team it belongs to. You will never know who the mole will go to" Chris laughs maliciously.
"That's so twisted..." Felix said. "Typical Chris".
"Now, you can go to your cabins to rest, and reflect on what happened tonight. And remember, you must always sleep with one eye open!"
All the campers went to the cabins to collect their things, while looking at each other, knowing that one of them is a traitor ready to attack.
Chris laughs, satisfied with the result obtained by that drama bomb, and then turns to the camera.
"Twenty-two competitors, a mole willing to have none of them win the juicy prize, and a very attractive host. Who will this mole be? Who will be its first victim? Who will be first in the losers' gallery?! Find out, next time, at...! "
"Total! Drama! Enchanted!"

¡CHAN! ¡CHAN! ¡CHAAAAAAAAAAAAN!
THE MOLE! Those who are true Total Drama fans will remember why Chris brought Owen back in Total Drama Action. This mole will be somewhat similar, but with its differences.
My original plan was to make a mystery arc about the identity of the mole and the suspects, BUT… I failed to make a season of it, so it is highly likely that the identity of the mole will already be revealed to readers very soon. All I can tell you now is that the mole issue is going to influence in some eliminations.
I challenge you to guess who the mole is. Whoever guesses correctly will receive a congratulation from me.
Why was there no elimination? I had already planned the elimination of a character, but I felt bad about getting rid of it so soon, so I plan to keep them all a little longer.
Well, I think that would be all for now. Remember that you can always try to guess the next eliminated. See you in the next chapter. Goodbye.
