Guest 1138: Karen is being a bit careless about staying undetectable, but she seems to be more focused on making her plans work, no matter the cost. Yeah, Lucas is someone very lucky to get to this point despite not being the most skilled contestant. Interesting theory, by the way.

ZNBT: Yes, that episode was a parody of Jumanji. I was planning on doing a mini challenge about surviving a rhino stampede, but decided to drop it because I didn't know how to include it.

Chapter 12 - Roulette of Torture

"How can I activate this device?"

Rita was watching the teleportation device carefully. She was sitting on her bunk, alone in her cabin, late at night, trying to find a way to activate the device she had found on Boney Island.

Confessional

Rita - "Now that Pearl is gone, I have the whole cabin to myself, so I have privacy to work on my experiments, or on Tony's device."

"It must have some kind of password, key or something similar ..."

Rita squints her eyes, trying to find something on the device that works like a switch.

"I wish I was in my lab now, then I would have the right resources for deep research."

She runs two fingers over the metal ring, analyzing the texture, until her finger passes over a tiny screen on one side, causing it to activate, and the purple lines light up and open each other, expanding the object, and a few small rays come out of the light.

Rita pushes her hands away, and drops the device onto her bunk, letting the rays shrink and calm down. After the rays stop, she takes the device and examines the small screen, then presses a finger on it, causing a violet light to come out of it.

The light reveals to be a small holographic screen, showing the image of a galaxy.

Rita has to pick up her glasses to keep them from falling out of amazement, while staring at the holographic display.

"Is this… a map of our galaxy?"

Rita presses on a specific area of the galaxy, and the image zooms in, revealing the image of several planets of different sizes and colors. She gets thoughtful and starts looking for something on the screen, sliding her fingers over it, until she stops when she finds the image of the Solar System.

Rita zooms in with two fingers, and finds planet Earth, then zooms in closer, to surprisingly find the image of Pahkitew Island.

She presses on a specific point on the island, and suddenly, the device fires the beams again, but they point forward, quickly drawing a strange symbol inside a circle, which turns into a violet portal.

Rita gets up, admiring the portal for a few seconds, until she decides to put her hand, and then the rest of her body, until it disappears completely, and the portal vanishes.

The scene changes to the highest mountain on the island, and the same portal opens in that area. Rita shoots out of there, and falls to the ground with a crash.

"It's like traveling through a blender…" she moaned, as she got up and brushed the dirt off her clothes and adjusted her glasses. "

"I'll have to get used to it ..."

Rita looks carefully at the device again, while activating the holographic screen with the image of the island again. She presses another point on the island, and the device reopens another portal in the same way as before.

She enters the portal, and ends up appearing inside the dining room. This time, she was able to get used to the tortuous journey.

She reactivates it a third time, and travels back inside her cabin.

"This device is phenomenal!" she exclaimed with great emotion, but she fell silent when she heard a knock on the wall.

"I heard noises, everything okay there, Rita?" Otis's voice called from the other side of the cabin.

"Don't worry, nothing's wrong" replied the scientist.

She smiles, as she decides to put the device on her wrist, as if it were a bracelet, and returns to her bunk to rest for the night.

Confessional

Rita - "I am not going to leave a device of this quality alone in my cabin, at the mercy of those fools, so I will keep it safe until I finish this game. In the meantime, I can do a deeper investigation and know its potential."

"Raymond! Are you in there?"

Lucas was knocking on the door of the boys' communal bathroom, looking for Raymond. Just at that moment Nigel and Felix passed by.

"Hey Lucas, have you seen Raymond?" Nigel asked.

"I think he's locked himself in the bathroom," Lucas explained. "I've been knocking on the door for a while, but he doesn't answer."

"Raymond, open the door!" Felix ordered knocking on the door.

"Stand back ..." Nigel said. "I'm going to teach you a little trick I learned when I wanted to break into other people's houses. Does anyone have a card?"

Felix takes out his wallet, showing numerous credit cards and many bills, and takes out one of these to pass it to Nigel.

Then Nigel shoved the credit card into the slot in the door and flicked it. The card snapped in half, but the door opened cleanly.

"Hey! You're going to pay for that!" Felix exclaimed, picking up the two pieces of what was his credit card.

Lucas enters the bathroom, trying to find Raymond. After a while he came out with a shrug.

"He's not in there."

"So where has he been?" Nigel asked.

After a while Raymond arrived on his skates. He sees the three boys gathered at the entrance of the bathroom and goes next to them.

"Did I miss something here?"

"We thought you were locked in the bathroom," Lucas explained.

"No, I had gone skating in another area of the island" Raymond replied, pointing in the direction he came.

"And why was the door closed?" Nigel wondered. "Lucas said it was locked."

"Uhm, Lucas, you remembered to use the handle, right?" asked Raymond

"Ohhhhh, I already knew something was wrong…" Lucas said, patting his face in amusement. "He had been knocking on the door for at least an hour."

"Mystery solved," Felix concluded. "Changing the subject, why did you want to see us all, Nigel?"

"I have a proposal for all of you…" Nigel spoke with a smile.

"Uhm, no thanks. I don't judge, but you're not my type…" Lucas commented, with a disgusted face.

"A proposed alliance" Nigel said with a frown and crossed arms, as he watched as Raymond and Felix held back their laughter.

"Do you want us to form an alliance between the four of us?" Raymond asked. "Why?"

"Come and analyze the situation, maybe our team has a huge advantage over the other, but these last challenges we have only won by good luck. After all, we almost lost yesterday" explained Nigel. "We must also consider that our team is in complete chaos, with lawsuits, disputes and a captain who could not care less."

"You're right there…" stated Raymond.

"Everyone here has a conflict with someone else," Nigel continued. "Felix is always arguing with Maggie, Hunter is determined to kick Lucas out at all costs, I have problems with Sonya, and it's only a matter of time before Raymond joins the club."

The three nod, I agree with what Nigel said.

"At any moment they will make the decision to come together and take us all down, one by one, while they make it to the merge happily, and I don't want that to happen," Nigel explained. "My proposal is the following: the four of us will form an alliance, and we will vote together for the same person. That way we will have a better chance of kicking out the camper of our choice."

All three think about the offer. Nigel's reasoning is pretty good.

"But wouldn't we need at least one more member?" Raymond consulted. "Because we are only four against the remaining six."

"It will be very difficult for the rest of the team to agree," explained Nigel. "We must take advantage now that we have an opportunity."

"And who will we vote for first?" asked Felix.

"Hunter" Nigel replied.

"Why him?" Raymond questioned. "Wouldn't it be better to vote for one of the girls? They seem to have formed their own alliance."

"Because he and Yoshi are the only ones without an alliance, which makes them wild cards, and Hunter is the captain of the team. With him gone, we will have full control of the team, and then I will see the possibility of adding Yoshi to our group." .

The three of them think carefully about the tempting offer.

"What do you say? Shall we form the alliance?"

The three end up nodding. This alliance of boys is officially formed.

However, none of them suspected that Hunter was hiding among the trees, as he was listening to them from a distance, and frowns in anger.

Confessional

Nigel - "Now that my alliance with Karen is over, I am willing to take any opportunity to kick her out of the game. Once Hunter is gone, I will take over as captain and have complete control of the team. From there, I will have the enough votes to eliminate whoever I want."

Hunter - "It seems that I have to remind those rats their rightful place in the food chain."

Meanwhile, in the dining room, Karen, Sonya and Maggie had decided to include Ginger in the girl group, when they asked her to sit next to them.

"Welcome to our little club, Ginger!" Karen smiled.

"Finally, I can be a part of something!" Ginger exclaimed happily.

"Ok girls, it's time to think about our options" Maggie spoke. "In case we lose a challenge, we should vote for one of the guys, but who?"

"Well, I think our top three options are Nigel, Felix and Hunter," Sonya said. "Nigel and Felix have gotten really annoying lately, and we all already know what Hunter is like."

"I suggest we start with Nigel" Karen said, resting her head on her clasped hands. "Hunter is dangerous, but that already makes him a target for everyone equally, and Felix is so annoying that it would be very easy to vote for him at any time. Nigel is a professional con artist, a dangerous strategist, and will take every opportunity to vote for us all."

"You're right, I don't trust that criminal" Sonya said with a frown.

"Then we will face Hunter and Felix, and we will stick together until we reach the final four together."

"I like the way you think girl," Maggie said. "I support her."

"And what will happen after we get there?" Sonya asked.

"Each on their own and may the best win" Karen shrugs.

As the girls continued their talk, they never knew that Otis was eavesdropping on them, while chewing a fruit. Diego notices the serious expression in his friend.

"Do you still feel bad about yesterday's loss, my friend?"

"No, it's not that" Otis clarified. "I'm just thinking about the details ..."

Confessional

Otis - "I'm sure there is someone involved in all of our losses, and from the way Pearl said it just before she was shot by the slingshot, it's a girl from the other team, so the suspects come down to Karen, Maggie, Sonya, and Ginger."

Everyone had gathered in the dining room to wait for Chris, who again makes an appearance through the use of a smoke bomb.

"Cheers, punching bags! It's time for your torture of the day!"

"Did you run out of ideas for an entrance, McLean?" Raymond asked jokingly.

"Where will you take us to torture us this time?" Karen asked.

"Nowhere" Chris replied. "Get ready for another challenge on our TV set in the dining room!"

"Like that contest we did I don't know how many chapters ago?" asked Felix.

"Effectively".

The dining room had once again been transformed into a kind of television set with an audience included. The tables for the two teams and the presenter's box had been set up. Along with these a roulette wheel with the photo of each of the 13 contestants stands. Chris went to settle into his place, wearing his sky blue suit. Chef was by the roulette wheel in his pink dress and heels.

"Contestants, meet the new and improved… Wheel of Misfortune!"

Felix, Hunter, Ginger, Karen, Raymond, Lucas, Maggie, Sonya, Nigel, and Yoshi sat at the table on the left by the window; Diego, Rita, and Otis sat at the table on the right, next to the kitchen.

"So few already? If it seems like yesterday we started, and nine have already left…" said Chris. Then he looked at the Raptor Falcons table and laughed. "It's quite ironic that some Falcons are being roasted by some Rabbits."

All three members of the Falcons glared at Chris.

"Ok, I'll explain the rules of this challenge" said Chris. "Thirteen contestants, and thirteen photos on the roulette wheel. We are not going to make distinctions by teams, each one will have to face the challenges by themselves. When the wheel turns and marks your photo, you will have to face a mini challenge. If you manage to overcome it, you can continue competing, but if you fail, you will be eliminated. The first team to lose all its members will go straight to elimination… Got it? Good. "

"In short, you are recycling the challenges No Pain, No Game and I Triple Dog Dare You! from Total Drama Island" Karen said with a raised eyebrow.

"Basically…" Chris shrugs. "And with all of that cleared up, it's time for our stewardess… to spin the wheel!"

Chef Hatchet takes the spinner and spins it. The photos of the 13 contestants began to move. The arrow in the center was marking one by one to all, threatening to mark only one when it stopped.

Confessional

Otis - "This test is already silly. The good thing is that, as Diego, Rita and I are only three against ten, there is less chance that our team will come out. The bad thing is that being less it is more difficult for us to win."

Felix - "This is already free torture! It is reportable!"

Karen - "Now that I have broken my alliance with Nigel, I must make sure that he is the next to be eliminated. He knows the truth, so he has to leave before he becomes a nuisance."

As the roulette wheel spun, the two teams discussed a strategy.

"Listen guys, we HAVE to win this challenge" said Otis. "We have a small advantage in this challenge, but sooner or later it will be up to one of us. The three of us must complete the mini challenges, no matter how difficult, painful, humiliating or tortuous they may be."

Diego and Rita nodded.

"Attention team. I'm not letting our perfect winning streak be ruined just because you guys are wimpy cowards," Hunter growled at the team. "I don't want to hear any complaints from you, I don't want to see you whining that you can't do it, and I don't want to see you fail the mini-challenges. If you fail, you will suffer punishment."

All members of the Rabbits nodded, some with fear in their expressions at the threat.

The roulette wheel was finally stopped, while all the contestants were nervous. When the spinner stopped, it was marking Maggie's photo.

"Maggie, your mini challenge consists of holding the shots from our tennis ball cannon for 10 seconds" explained Chris.

The girl walked to the center of the set, trembling. Chef took out the aforementioned cannon and takes aim.

"Start!" Chris exclaimed.

Maggie received the hard blows of balls that Chef fired at her, trying in vain to cover herself. When the balls hit her, they left wounds because they were extremely hard. As she took the blows in full, she realized something.

"Ow! Are these golf balls?! Augh!" she moaned as she took the blows.

"Of course, it would be boring if we just shot some harmless rubber balls at you," Chris explained, shrugging.

When the 10 seconds were up, Chef stopped the attack, and Maggie was on the ground devastated.

"Maggie manages to overcome the challenge!" Chris exclaimed, as Sonya and Karen helped Maggie up to the table.

Chef Hatchet spun the wheel again, while everyone gulped. The roulette wheel stopped at Karen.

"Karen, your mini challenge is to… get into this barrel of water for 30 seconds" Chris explained, when Chef brought a barrel full of water.

"It doesn't sound that difficult…" Karen commented.

She takes off her high heels and quickly gets into the barrel, but after 5 seconds, she jumps out of there with a scream. Karen's body was completely covered by crabs, which were pinching her hard with their pincers.

"That barrel was full of crabs!" exclaimed the girl, as she removed each of the crustaceans from her body, always followed by a groan of pain.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that detail…" Chris said with a smile. "Anyway, Karen is out." He approached her and marked her forehead with a stamp that said LOSER.

"This is humiliating…" the girl said as she kept trying to remove the crabs.

The roulette wheel spins again, and stops at Felix's photo.

"Your turn, Felix!" Chris smiled. "Your mini challenge is to eat ice cream for a minute without stopping."

The boy shakily approached Chef, who handed him a giant can of ice cream.

"Start!" Chris said.

Felix began to devour the ice cream at full speed, ignoring Ginger's screams.

"Eat more slowly, or you're going to suffer a ...!"

But it was late. Felix stops short, and is totally paralyzed, when his brain had frozen because of the ice cream. He falls backward without further ado and stood there, as if he were dead.

"Felix is out! How delicate they are…" Chris teases.

Chef brings the body to his team's table, while Chris marks his forehead with the seal.

Confessional

Ginger - "I tried to warn Felix that eating ice cream too fast can give you a brain freeze. I know that from experience."

The wheel spins again, and stops on Raymond's photo.

"Raymond, your mini challenge is to hold a pot of water for 5 seconds" Chris explained.

"That's it?" Raymond was amazed. "Very easy".

Chef arrives with a pot full of water, and prepares to pass it to Raymond.

"Start!"

Chef drops the pot, and Raymond catches it from the bottom, but instantly screamed in pain and threw the pot into the air, causing the water to spill over him, making him scream in pain again.

"Ahhh! It burns me! IT BURNS!" Raymond yelled, trying to get the water off his clothes and trying to cool off with something.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the water in the pot is practically red hot" Chris replied. "And you only lasted 2 seconds, so-" he slaps Raymond's forehead with the stamp, "-you're out."

The roulette wheel spins again, and stops at Diego's photo.

"Diego, your mini challenge consists of a massage ... made with a rusty iron rake."

"I was expecting a real challenge…" Diego commented confidently, going happily to the center of the stage and laying down on a stretcher, while Chef pulled out a very sharp rusty rake.

Once Chef was done, the boy's back was red and scratched and cut, but Diego hadn't complained once. In fact, it seems that he enjoyed it.

"Wow, Diego has overcome the challenge" Chris was amazed, while Otis and Rita celebrate the victory.

Confessional

Diego - "That was a delicious massage, almost as good as that of my pineapple wife, Penny" he lets out a dreamy sigh. "I miss you my love".

Chef Hatchet spins the wheel again, which then stops at Otis's photo.

"Otis, your mini challenge is to accept being the ramp for a motorcycle" Chris explained.

Otis said nothing, going to the center of the set and lay down on the floor, his back high. Chef was a few meters away from him dressed as an acrobat with his motorcycle.

"Start!"

Chef began to rush forward, stepping over Otis's back like a ramp, but he didn't flinch. Otis got up and cleaned his clothes, and returned to his seat.

"Thanks for the massage, buddy" said Otis with a smile, as he adjusted his back.

"Incredible, this boy is really tough" Chris was amazed.

Confessional

Otis - "Thanks to my job as a mechanic and my time in the boxing ring, my body is as hard as a rock. That motorcycle hit was as hard as a pillow."

The wheel spun again, stopping at Yoshi.

"Yoshi, your challenge is to hold your breath for 5 minutes."

"Five minutes!" they all exclaimed.

"My record is 6:49" Diego said proudly.

Yoshi walked to the center of the set, and stepped into a tank of water that Chef had brought.

Surprisingly, Yoshi had stayed inside the water tank for 10 minutes, before deciding to go outside for a breath.

"Ten minutes! Awesome!" Chris was amazed.

"How did you do that?" Raymond questioned in amazement.

"A technique that I have learned during my training" Yoshi replied.

Confessional

Yoshi - "This technique consists of entering a state of meditation that allows me to survive with less oxygen, something like a trance. Of course, I must make it clear that you should not try that at home. It took me a long time to learn it, and it is very complicated to execute."

The wheel spun, landing on Rita's photo.

"Rita, your mini challenge is to… jump rope for a minute" Chris explained.

"What's the trick?" Rita moaned, convinced that Chris is going to "accidentally forget a detail."

"Instead of using rope, we'll use electrified wire" Chris replied with a smile.

Rita went to stand in the corner of the room, while Chef held one end of the cable with rubber gloves.

"Start!"

Chef began to move the cable and spun it, while Rita began to jump over the east, avoiding all contact. She maintains good progress, but in an oversight at 50 seconds, the cable manages to touch her on the foot, electrocuting her and eliminating her from the competition.

"You were close, Rita, but not close enough. You're out," Chris teased.

Rita returns to her seat with a frown, and sits crossed her arms, while looking away from Otis and Diego, who say nothing.

Chef spins the wheel again, which stops at Sonya.

"Sonya, your mini challenge is to dodge carefully aimed lasers, without breaking contact with the platform for a minute" Chris explained.

Sonya gulps as she approaches the center of the set. She is placed on a small circular platform, when laser guns are raised, completely surrounding her.

"Start!"

The blasters begin to fire one at a time, while Sonya dodges the shots with various dance moves.

"This isn't that difficult…" Sonya muttered, as she kept up with the shots, dodging them with amusement.

She was only two seconds away from finishing, when all the guns suddenly fired at the same time, taking Sonya by surprise, who was unable to dodge the shots. She ends up falling off the platform.

"Sonya is out!" Chris announced.

"That is not fair!" Sonya exclaimed. "It was impossible to avoid that."

Chris shrugs. The wheel spins again, stopping at Hunter.

"Hunter, your mini challenge consists of spending 30 seconds inside a metal cage, with the wildest and deadliest beasts on the island, which includes Fang, Sasquatchanakwa, Scuba Bear, and other animals on the island" Chris explained.

Chef pushes a huge metal box with bars at the top to let in air, and inside it you can hear the sounds of animals growling and shaking the box with force.

Hunter says nothing, and goes inside the cage.

"Start!"

Once Chris said that, the cage began to shake hard, while animal fur flew out of the bars. Everyone could hear wild thumps and grunts of pain inside.

All the contestants, Chris and Chef were shocked and terrified to hear all the chaos, as they watched as the cage continued to shake as if there was a brutal fight inside, all while hearing grunts of pain, which seemed to be from animals.

The thirty seconds are up, and the cage door opens. That's where Hunter comes out, perfectly fine, while wearing a purple fur coat from the Sasquatch, a collar of teeth from Fang on his neck, and the robotic skull of the Scuba Bear with its jaws ripped off like a helmet.

"Hunter has overcome the mini challenge" Chris announced. "It's time to keep spinning the wheel and see who is a coward, and who is humiliated."

The contestants were quickly eliminated:

-Ginger had to cut her hair with a chainsaw, but she flinched.

-Lucas had to hold his breath for 30 seconds inside a barrel of ice water, but he escaped within seconds of the cold water, forgetting that it was a challenge.

-Yoshi had to stand on a wheelchair and balance with fragile things piled on his feet for 5 minutes, but Chef had fun by making him sneeze with a feather duster, causing him to stumble and fall.

-Maggie had to endure a painful acupuncture session from the Chef, but she passed out from the pain.

-Hunter had to have bees around him, acting like a coat over him, but one of these threw pollen into his nose, giving him an allergy attack and causing the bees to sting him.

Otis and Diego had overcome their challenges successfully, showing no signs of being exhausted. They both worked hard and will give their all to win the challenge. Nigel was still standing because, luckily, he hadn't had to face anything yet.

Confessional

Otis - "There was a good chance that we would finally win. There was only Nigel left from the other team, and it was because his turn had not yet come. I had to do everything possible to hold on, and so when Nigel is out, the Falcons will take the victory."

"Nigel!" Chris exclaimed when the spinner stopped at the boy's photo. "Your mini challenge consists of jumping on some bamboo poles that will be colliding with each other for a minute".

Nigel took center stage when two bamboo poles came out of the ground at ankle height. These begin to collide with each other repeatedly as a demonstration.

"However, to make things more interesting, this will be the last challenge" added Chris. "If Nigel can overcome this mini challenge, the Rabbits will win again."

Confessional

Otis - "That's just unfair. It's like Chris wants us to lose out."

Karen - "It was my chance. If Nigel failed, everyone will agree to vote him out."

Nigel stands between the two bamboo poles. Without anyone noticing, Karen had pulled a remote control from under the table.

"Start!"

The poles moved, and began to collide with each other with force, while Nigel jumped on them, avoiding being hit by them. Thirty seconds passed when Karen started to play with the remote control, making the poles move faster.

Despite the speed, Nigel managed to keep up, dodging the hits. Karen frowns and picks up speed again, making Nigel start to worry, but he wasn't planning on giving up.

With just five seconds left of victory, Karen activated another button, sending a jet of ink shot straight into Nigel's face, blinding the boy and ruining his concentration. Due to miscalculating a jump, the poles ended up hitting Nigel's ankles hard several times, causing him to fall to defeat.

"And with Nigel's downfall, the Raptor Falcons finally win another challenge!" Chris announced.

All three members of the Falcons stood up in joy, celebrating their first victory in a long time. Otis and Diego hug and jump for joy, and even Rita decided to join in the celebration.

"NIGEL! YOU HAVE RUINED OUR PERFECT WINNING STREAK!" Hunter angrily exclaimed at Nigel, who was unable to stand up due to his broken ankles.

"Rabid Rabbits, you were already missing a dose of reality in this game" Chris smiled. "I'll see you tonight at the elimination ceremony."

Confessional

Hunter - "Nigel has every reason to be voted out. I warned them that if they failed, they would suffer the consequences. Nobody challenges my authority and gets away with it."

Karen - "Nigel is so finished. Obviously the girls and Hunter will vote for him. And as an added bonus, I have an ace up my sleeve in voting tonight, just in case."

Nigel - "I know I have half the team targeting me to be eliminated, but my plan is still in place. I just have to convince the other half of the team to vote with me, and the best I can do is force a tiebreaker against Hunter. If I get through tonight, and Hunter is eliminated, victory will be assured."

"A boys' alliance?"

Nigel had met Yoshi alone at the Rabbits cabin. Yoshi was painting on a papyrus with black ink, while listening to the words of Nigel, who tried to convince him to join forces.

"That's right" Nigel replied. "I have formed an alliance with the other men on the team, and I want you to be part of the group too."

"Don't try to manipulate me, Nigel. We both know you only want my vote so you can save yourself, considering that at least half the team is blaming you for today's loss."

"Do you blame me for that too?" Nigel questioned.

"Not really" Yoshi replied. "We have all failed our challenges. You only get special attention because you had the opportunity to gift the team victory in the end."

"Glad to hear that" Nigel smiled. "I can assure you that I am not trying to manipulate you. I admit, I do want your vote so I can save my skin, but I also want to help the team."

"What do you mean by that?" Yoshi arched an eyebrow, putting his painting aside to pay full attention to the talk.

"My goal for tonight is to have enough votes to eliminate Hunter," Nigel explained. "With him out, I can take over as captain, and I will lead this team to victory. Once we get to the merge, my alliance of boys will dominate the challenges all the way to the final rounds."

Yoshi was silent, listening to what Nigel was telling him.

"If you join my alliance, Yoshi, I will ensure you a spot in the top five" Nigel concluded his explanation. "What do you say? Sounds fair?"

Yoshi thinks about the request. After a few minutes of silence, he ended up accepting the offer.

"Okay, I'll vote for Hunter tonight" Yoshi spoke. "And if you prove to be a good captain for the team, then I will consider accepting your alliance offer."

Nigel smiles and shakes hands with Yoshi's.

"It was a pleasure doing business with you, Yoshi. I assure you, you will not regret it."

Confessional

Nigel - "Of course I will NOT take Yoshi to the final five. That boy is very powerful, and if he manages to go far, no one will be able to take him down. Once I get rid of the girls and we get to the merge, Yoshi will be the next one to fall."

Night had fallen, and the ten members of the Rabid Rabbits had introduced themselves. Everyone has already gone to deposit their votes in the confessional.

"It's a pleasure to finally see you again Rabbits" greeted Chris. "You guys have enjoyed a long winning streak and stayed safe from elimination for several episodes, but it was only a matter of time before we meet again here."

The ten contestants were silent, embarrassed by today's loss.

"Since it's been a long time since you've been here, I'll remind you how this goes" said Chris. "Everyone has already left their votes, and made their decisions. When I call their names, you will come to pick up a marshmallow that will ensure one more day of survival, and will leave you one step closer to a million dollars. The camper who does not I called, he will be forced to leave the island, never to be able to return ... ever ".

The campers were nervous, waiting to be called.

"The following campers are safe ..."

However, Lucas did not move from his place.

"Lucas" repeated Chris.

The boy looked at him with a smile.

"Lucas, you have to get up to pick up the marshmallow."

"Oh right" said the boy, patting his face in amusement, and went to pick up the marshmallow.

Now there were only two campers left without a marshmallow: Hunter and Nigel.

"Campers, this is the last marshmallow for tonight" Chris said. "You two were the only ones who received votes, and boy was it a close vote."

Hunter maintains a serious expression. Nigel arches an eyebrow at this, but he wasn't worried.

"But instead of just announcing the loser, we'll do something more fun: I'll count the votes, just for more suspense."

Everyone was silent, listening to the votes.

"Let's see, we have ... one vote for Nigel"

The two boys were nervous. The last vote can define their future in the game.

"And the last vote is for ..."

"Nigel"

"What!?" Nigel exclaimed, unable to believe it. "Six votes against me? It was supposed to be a 5-5 vote tie against Hunter!"

"I'm sorry Nigel, but here I have four votes for Hunter, and six for you," Chris explained. "Either you did a wrong calculation, or ..."

"Or someone stabbed you in the back" Hunter finished for him. "I get the feeling, now get out!"

"Nigel, you have been eliminated from Total Drama: Enchanted. It is time for you to leave the competition… forever."

Nigel sighed long, totally devastated.

Nigel was already in the Sling of Shame, waiting to be fired off the island. They had all gone to the cabin, leaving him alone with Chris.

"Any last words, Nigel?"

"I'm sorry, Dad" Nigel muttered with a pitying expression.

"Bye, Nigel," he heard a small voice say. Karen had introduced herself with an evil smile on her angelic face.

"It was you?" Nigel asked, noticing how anger welled up in his body. Chris watched the scene with a smile.

"Of course it was me. It was very easy to manipulate the machine to ruin your play ... How can you assume now that you know the truth, I have big plans for this season, and I don't want you getting in the way" said Karen.

"I may have lost here, but I can assure you one thing, Karen" Nigel said, furious. "Your evil will end up costing you dearly!"

"It's a threat?" Karen smiled, stepping next to the lever Chris handed him. "Oh, and tell your father in prison that I send my regards."

Before the boy could say anything else, she had pulled the lever, shooting Nigel through the air, away from the island, and out of the game.

Karen smiles and left without looking at Chris, satisfied with the results obtained. Chris turns to the camera.

"Quite an intriguing outcome, I must say. The Falcons come up with a win, and Karen scores another casualty on her list. Can the Falcons be able to maintain a winning streak? Who will Karen target now? And who will be next to be eliminated? Find out next time in ... "

"Total! Drama! Enchanted!"

Everyone had returned to their cabins to rest, but Lucas escaped to go to the bathroom for a moment. Before entering, he sneaks and hides behind the place, finding another person hidden in the shadows.

"There, I did your dirty work" Lucas said to the hidden person. "I changed my vote for Nigel, just like you asked."

"Well done, Lucas" congratulated the shadow. "I can assure you that you have made the right decision."

"Why did you ask me to vote for him?"

"Because Nigel was a threat ready to strike" explained the shadow. "If he made it through tonight, it would have become impossible to topple. It was now or never."

"I really don't like doing this ..." Lucas said with a pitying expression. "I just stabbed a friend in the back"

"This is how this game works, buddy. For now, I just want to be sure of one thing…" said the shadow. "Can I trust you for the remainder of the contest?"

"I'm going to try…" Lucas replied, with a sigh.

"That's enough for me" smiled the shadow. "Well, it's time to go rest. See you tomorrow, Lucas."

"See you tomorrow, Karen" Lucas said goodbye.

Lucas retires and goes back to the cabin to rest, while the shadow comes out in the moonlight, revealing her identity as Karen, who smiles and also returns to the cabin to rest, satisfied that her plan is having very good results.

Nigel's fall was something that was already assured, when Karen had already marked him as her next target.

This challenge was practically a recycling of some old episodes. Karen herself has already said it. Of course, here it had its own differences. Some challenges were even recycled from the old ones, like the box with the beasts for Hunter.

Nigel was a pretty clever character in this episode, to the point that he almost managed to save himself here, but he didn't take into account a possible back stab from Lucas.

Speaking of Lucas, I was originally going to keep the identity of the alleged traitor a secret, but it seemed a bit obvious to me that it was Lucas, so I left the reveal to the end. Now that Nigel is gone, Karen needs a new henchman.

The Falcons have finally won a challenge. After five consecutive losses, they have finally come away with a victory, because Karen decided to pity them. The Rabbits, on the other hand, have finally split into different camps, between boys versus girls, and Hunter and Yoshi away from it, although the hunter seems like he's becoming everyone's target.
