Author's Notes
Greetings, faithful readers. Here Fantasy Lord 77 has returned with the next chapter, but before we begin, we will first respond to the reviews of the previous chapters.
Guest 1138: Interesting predictions. About our wild cards, I will tell you a thing about both. Tony is going to learn that humans are much more cunning than he thinks. About Isaac, I just tell you that he is not searching for power.
ZNBT: Yes, that was the reference. To create Yoshi, I had been inspired by those characters who are wise teachers, like Oogway and Shifu, or also Master Splinter and Uncle Iroh.
Guest: Welcome to this story. I am glad to know that you are enjoying it. From my point of view, this can be a story that you are going to love, or you are going to hate, but that is already your decision. Thank you for reviewing each chapter, as this is how you support me to continue writing ... Oh, and one last thing ... CONGRATULATIONS FOR BEING MY 50TH REVIEW!
Total Drama: Enchanted
Chapter 19 - Not What It Seems
It was a quiet night on the island. The remaining nine contestants lounged quietly in their cabins, taking advantage of the peace before their obnoxious host ruined their day. However, there is someone who did not sleep.
A familiar hummingbird was flying around the island, as if looking for something. At the end it stops in front of the Hotel Spa. The hummingbird radiates a green light and transforms into a fly, entering through the lock without problem. Upon entering, he begins to explore every corner of the place, looking for some high-tech gadget, but all he finds are hundreds of disturbing photos of Chris, which seemed to be looking at his soul.
The fly flies into the control room seen in the virtual challenge, and finds Chris and Chef chatting while watching videos from previous chapters, while sipping glasses of wine.
"This is a great success, Chef" Chris commented, sipping from his glass of wine. "This season will undoubtedly be among the best in the franchise."
"I have no doubt about that" Chef replied. "With everything seen, this season will leave a lot to talk about."
The fly was not interested in listening to the conversation, but then he hears something that catches his attention.
"The idea of mentioning a mole was very ingenious" Chef spoke, pouring himself another glass of wine. "Who knew that would cause so much drama?"
"That's why I'm the best host in the history of television" Chris smiled proudly. "I always know how to innovate and surprise. Mining a mole was something improvised, but it gave very good results."
Chef arches an eyebrow at that. "I thought Karen was the real mole."
"Uhm, no…" Chris shows confusion. "Wait, haven't I told you yet?"
Chef shakes his head. Chris smiles mischievously and asks him to come closer. After doing so, Chris whispers something in Chef's ear. Whatever he said, it left Chef in shock.
"No way!" Chef gasped in amazement.
"Way, buddy!" Chris smiled.
"So he's the one who gives those toys to her? I thought you were leaving it for her at her secret base."
"No, that was the real mole" Chris leaned back in his chair with his arms behind his neck. "If everything goes well, then no one will ever know his identity."
The fly arched an eyebrow, if it has one, upon hearing that interesting conversation, but all stops when it sees a shadow looming over it. The fly looks up to see, horrified, Chef with a rolled newspaper in hand, ready to squash it.
"Campers will love a plate of fried flies," said Chef Hatchet.
The fly squeals in fear and flies off, with Chef chasing it and trying to smash it with the newspaper. However, the fly lands on the window, and Chef lunges on it, trying to catch the insect, but fails miserably, crashing through the glass and smashing it to pieces.
"I won't pay for that!" Chris said from another room.
The fly lets out a sigh of relief and flies away from the Spa Hotel.
The next day, everyone was on their hobbies, waiting for Chris to call them for the next challenge.
At her secret base, Karen was arranging the photos of the remaining contestants on the blackboard, while marking Yoshi's photo with a red X. As she did so, she heard footsteps and assumed it was her secret ally.
"Where have you been?" she asked without turning to look at him.
"I went out to get some fresh air…" Tony answered simply. "Hey, Karen… You are the mole, right?"
"What a silly question. Of course I am" said Karen offended.
"And when did they tell you?" she asked with interest.
"At our first elimination ceremony Chris confirmed it. I didn't think it would be this way."
"What do you mean with that?" Tony arched an eyebrow. "Chris never went with you to tell you in private?"
"Before the start of the season, Chris had never told me anything about a mole" she said as she put the photo in the folder. "I was only accepted to compete, but a few days before coming, I received a call from someone who claimed to be part of the producers, saying that they need someone willing to cheat and cause drama, and in return they would receive whatever device they need to that, including this secret base to make my plans in peace."
Tony was surprised and very confused by what he had heard. "Who was it that called you?"
"I don't know, I hadn't taken it too seriously" Karen shrugged. "I just saw a bigger chance to win and I took it… Why so much interest now?"
"I went to the Spa Hotel last night and found Chris and Chef chatting about the mole business" Tony explained. "They mentioned something about the mole manipulating someone else to do his dirty work ..."
SLAP!
Tony recoils when he receives a slap in the face, given by Karen, who was glaring at him.
"Are you implying that I'm some idiot's puppet?"
"No, not at all" Tony answered quickly, shaking his hands in defense and rubbing his red cheek. "I just want to clarify my doubts. It is that all this seems very suspicious to me."
"I don't care what happened behind the scenes. I only think about winning, and you should only think about helping me if you want your much appreciated device back" Karen pointed at him threateningly.
Tony lets out a loud sigh. "Yes ma'am".
"Good boy" Karen smiled and ruffled his hair. "Your intervention will not be necessary for this challenge. I will take over this time."
Karen left the secret base, leaving Tony alone with his suspicions.
Confessional
Karen - "It's becoming a problem to keep my henchman at bay, but if everything goes well, then there is nothing to worry about."
In the dining room, Ginger, Lucas, Raymond, and Sonya were playing a board game in the dining room. Now they plan to play a famous game about questions and answers.
"Alright, it's time for the next game" Sonya smiled. "Trivial Pursuit"
"Oh man, I hate Trivial Pursuit" Lucas groaned. "It always makes me feel so stupid."
"More stupid than the time you somehow got locked in the bathroom all night?" Raymond asked.
"Ok Lucas, this question is for you" Sonya takes a letter. "What color are fire trucks?"
"Ugh, oh dear. I always get that one," Lucas groaned, making an effort to think. "Ok… fire truck, fire truck, fire truck… What color were those red fire trucks?… Uhm, I had the image in my mind… Red and stuff…"
"That's correct, Lucas! They are red!" Sonya said.
"Uhm, Sonya, what are you doing?" Raymond murmured to her.
"I changed Lucas's questions for preschool. Let's just let him enjoy his moment" she replied.
"Hooray! I finally won!" Lucas exclaimed.
"You never won anything before, Lucas?" Ginger asked him.
Lucas gestures for her to come closer to him, before whispering, "Not really. In case you haven't noticed, I'm not very smart."
"Is that why you're here? To try to win?" Sonya asked him.
"Actually my parents wanted me to come here to learn more about the outside world and try to improve," Lucas explained. "I'm not a lot to go out and walk around, and I don't need a million dollars, since my family is already rich."
"Wow, I didn't expect to hear that" Raymond was amazed. "What about you girls? Why did you come?"
"I just came to seek inspiration to continue writing more songs" Sonya replied. "My boss is the one who writes most of my songs, but I'm also free to make my own."
"I'm here to make new friends" Ginger replied with a smile. "I always live alone in my house, and I just want to talk to someone."
"Aw, you already have friends, girl" Sonya hugged her. "And you, Raymond?"
"I actually came here for the fame" replied the skater. "I aspire to be like those actors who do action scenes in movies. That has always been my dream."
"Aw, that's so cute" commented another voice.
The four of them turned and saw Karen sitting next to them.
"Raymond. Lucas. Felix wants to talk to you at the cabin" Karen said to kick them out.
The two boys got up and left the dining room, leaving the three girls alone.
"We have to talk about the game, girls" Karen became serious. "Now that we realized that Yoshi was not the impostor, we must stay together now more than ever, and avoid possible suspects."
"Do you think Raymond or Lucas could be suspects?" Sonya asked.
"Absolutely" Karen agreed. "Raymond proved to be quite skilled and right now he was asking them personal questions, or Lucas could be pretending to be silly just to go unnoticed."
Sonya couldn't help but laugh. "Karen, I think you are being very paranoid. What will happen next? Is there a conspiracy behind the scenes?"
"I'm seriously!" Karen frowned. "We are the three girls left in the game."
"What about Pearl?" Ginger asked.
"You saw her during the first few episodes. She was totally groggy with Nigel. I highly doubt that she will be of much help," Karen explained.
Sonya sighed. "Yes, you're right. So… who do we vote for?"
"Well our best options are Otis and Hunter" Karen explained. "They are both the strongest players left in the game."
"Why don't we vote for Felix now?" Sonya frowned. "Thanks to him, Maggie and Yoshi are gone. I think it's a good time to get rid of him."
"Yeah, I hate it too, but you have to be crafty" Karen explained. "Otis and Hunter are cunning, skilled and strong, and they have a good chance of earning immunity. We must get rid of both of them before it's too late."
"But Felix already has his rulebook back, and he's freaking out more and more," Sonya explained, pushing her against it. "Once we get rid of Felix, we'll go after Hunter."
"But I want those two out now!" Karen said, slapping her hands on the table.
"We will once we get rid of Felix!" Sonya replied in the same way.
Ginger only flinches at the sight of her friends fighting, trying to be as invisible as possible.
Confessional
Sonya - "What is Karen's problem? She is too desperate to fulfill her plans. She has to lower a few chords."
Karen - "Who does Sonya think she is? If she is against me, things are going to get complicated for me. I think the time has come for her to leave."
Ginger - "Why can't we all be friends?"
Felix was leaning back on his bunk, collecting his thoughts as he went through his rule book. His thoughts are interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Come in!" Felix said to whoever is playing.
Hearing the permission, Raymond and Lucas entered the cabin. Felix smiles with joy when he sees his two allies.
"Gentlemen, have a seat" Felix ordered elegantly. After the two boys sat on their own bunks, the blonde continued. "It's a big shame about Yoshi, I admit it."
"A shame? You were the one who framed him in the first place," Raymond commented.
"Leave it under the bridge" Felix replied. "However, his departure leaves us once again intrigued by the mole's identity. Anyone can be at this point."
"Like you?" Raymond asked.
"Or maybe one of you, or one of the girls, or there is even the slim possibility that this is all just a hoax," Felix explained. "The only thing we know for sure is that Yoshi was his most recent victim."
"Actually Yoshi was YOUR victim" Lucas commented.
"Do you want to leave that? Yoshi is gone, and crying for him will not bring him back" Felix frowned. "Let's focus on the present, choose our next target."
"Who will it be this time?" Raymond arches an eyebrow.
"Hunter" Felix replied. "That hunter is already lasting longer than planned. If we don't get rid of him soon, he will manage to make it to the finale."
"I agree on that" said Lucas. "He kept calling me dumb, useless and a waste of time all season. I already want to show him that I can go further than him."
"He's right about a few things," Felix murmured.
"Hey! I'm not stupid! I could win this challenge with no problem!" Lucas exclaimed offended.
"I'll believe it when I see it" Felix crosses his arms. "Alright, that was all I wanted to talk about. You can retire now."
The two boys get up and leave the cabin, leaving Felix thinking of new purposes for the competition.
Confessional
Felix - "My lackeys seem to be wanting to turn against me. I can't let those fools get ahead of me… What? Shouldn't I call them lackeys?"
Raymond - "I'm considering leaving my alliance with Felix. That boy seems to be losing his sanity more and more, but I agree with him about Hunter."
Lucas - "I'm getting tired of everyone taking me for a fool. It's very difficult to have to live with insults."
"Contestants, stop wasting your time fooling around and get ready for today's tough challenge!" Chris exclaimed over the speakers.
"You finally recognize it!" Felix exclaimed. "You have finally stopped saying that the challenge is supposed to be easy."
The 9 contestants performed outside the dining room, where Chris appeared walking happily. Some of them shuddered to see him so happy.
"What's up, guys!" Chris exclaimed happily. "You see, I was in my Spa Hotel thinking about how to torture you guys in totally legal ways when I said to myself… why not give these guys a break?"
"Break?" Karen said relieved.
"But you just said today is going to have a very tough challenge," Hunter pointed out.
"Yes, the tough challenge of DOING NOTHING" Chris replied cheerfully.
The contestants began to dance, jump and shout with joy, except Hunter, who was only waiting for the auction ...
"That's when I told myself that the best way to actually torture them was to make them believe there was going to be a day off" Chris continued with a mischievous smile. "Welcome to today's challenge!"
"You are a monster!" Lucas yelled, tears in his eyes.
At that time Chef Hatchet appeared, wearing his military suit with dark glasses and in his hands he carried his famous meatball cannon, looking with a sadistic smile at the contestants.
"Today's challenge will be the fun game of hide and seek," Chris explained. "You have 10 minutes to hide somewhere on the island. When the 10 minutes are up, Chef Hatchet will be out hunting all of you, and I warn you that he has a sixth sense for finding terrified contestants."
Confessional
Hunter - "More than a game of hide and seek, this seems like the game of Cat and Mouse ... I like it."
"There are three ways to win: if Chef surrenders, anyone who has not been found will get immunity. You can also take the risky option: try to take down Chef; if someone knocks him unconscious, that person will get the victory. The third option is to eliminate all your rivals to be the last standing. "
"Isn't there a safe zone this time?" Karen asked.
"No, you just have to survive and be the last ones standing" Chris said, before taking a timer. "You have 10 minutes to hide, starting from… now!"
Everyone ran, except Lucas, who took a few seconds to understand the situation, before running in the same way.
Confessional
Hunter - "An easy challenge to control: Ginger and Lucas are already out from the beginning. I doubt Karen, Otis and Pearl will go very far. Raymond, Sonya and Felix can surprise me. Otherwise, it is quite simple."
Felix was running through the clear forests of the island, looking for a place to hide, when he found Hunter crawling into the top of a tree.
"That is not allowed!" Felix exclaimed, addressing the hunter.
"What do you say? Why not?" Hunter was amazed.
"It says in the rule book" Felix takes out the said book. "Section 5, Paragraph 7. Challenges: In the event of a hide and seek challenge, the contestants will be strictly prohibited from hiding in the treetops."
"Crap…" Hunter cursed under his breath. "Well, Chris never cared about the rules."
"But I do care about them," said Felix with a malicious smile. "You better get off there if you don't want to receive a penalty."
"Okay, okay," Hunter said, jumping down from the tree. "Anyway, I'll go find another place ... Thanks, for letting me know" he growled with contempt, but without complaining.
"You're welcome, Hunter" said Felix with a sadistic smile, and as soon as the hunter was out of sight, the blond climbed the tree without the slightest dissimulation.
Confessional
Felix - "Yes, I made up that rule. It's an advantage that none of those losers have read the rule book because that way I can make up my own."
Pearl was debating whether to go into a cave or go to the pond when Lucas appeared out of nowhere followed by Raymond.
"Have you found where to hide yet?" Pearl asked them.
"Oh, it's very difficult to know where a wild bull could find you" Lucas reasoned with a worried voice.
"Uhm, Lucas, it's not a bull, it's the Chef…" Raymond told him.
"But I saw a bull in a military suit!" Lucas exclaimed. "It looked like he had fleas because he scratched a lot ..."
"I don't know how you can stand this one" said Hunter, who had come out of nowhere. "I'm sure Chef's lice could solve an equation faster than he could, and they could even make a sandwich."
"I can make a sandwich!" Lucas exclaimed. "Look, you have a loaf, you put low calorie cheese on it and then ... uhhh ... It's on the tip of my tongue!" he put his hands to his temples and began to squeeze them in hopes of remembering.
"You know the innocent," Hunter said, looking at Pearl as well. "Even the dyed ones are dumb."
"I'm not dumb!" Lucas exclaimed.
"Hunter, don't overdo it," Pearl defended him. "We know Lucas is not Stephen Hawking, but ..."
"But nothing! Don't try to defend him" Hunter growled. "Apart from being a fool, he is a treacherous rat who tries to get rid of me, so for me he can go to hell. And now I'm going to hide to win the challenge and make my way to the finale ... Yes, the finale, something that a fool like him will NEVER see "Hunter laughs, and left there.
"Ignore him" Raymond said to his friend, but he pushed him away.
"I've had enough of that rabid tiger! I know I'm not the smartest person, but I'm not the dumbest person either!" Lucas exclaimed. "I know everyone sees me as useless who is just dead weight!"
"Lucas, that's not…" Pearl was going to say, but he wouldn't let her.
"Don't pretend, Pearl! I know everyone makes fun of me when I slip and throw my food, or when I get locked in the bathroom, or when I try to tie my shoelaces!"
"Lucas, you don't wear shoes" Raymond corrected him.
"You see! You guys are even cheeky enough to correct me! I've had enough of being like that!"
And with that said, Lucas runs off with a frown.
"I have to admit, it was funny the time he got locked in the bathroom," Pearl commented. "But Hunter crossed the line."
Confessional
Lucas - "Ok, I'm sick of this nonsense. I know it was supposed to be just a game, but I'm already tired of putting up with these idiots. I'm much better than all of them put together. I didn't get here just for good luck, I have been very useful to my team ... The time has come for this boy to show what he is really capable of. I am going to show everyone that I can be much more than that, and I don't care what they say."
The 10 minutes have passed, and Chef Hatchet went hunting for the 9 contestants. Pearl had hidden in a cave, Karen had escaped to the dining room, Felix was hiding in the treetop, Raymond was hiding in a familiar tree house, Otis went to hide in the lake, Hunter was lost in the shadows, Sonya was hidden inside a hollow log, taking advantage of her extreme flexibility, Lucas was in the communal bathrooms, and Ginger was camouflaged behind some bushes.
Chef Hatchet started looking for the contestants in the woods near the camp ...
"Hey you!" Hunter exclaimed then, looking at Felix up in the tree. "Wasn't that hiding supposed to be forbidden?"
"Of course!" Felix replied. "But no one else knows."
Hunter growled angrily when he saw that he has been manipulated by a pompous boy, but before doing anything about it, he saw Chef prowling the area, so he decided to put his plan into action.
Confessional
Hunter - "Chris said whoever defeats Chef can win. This is my chance to take immediate immunity."
Chef was driving around the area in his jeep with his meatball cannon raised, looking for contestants, until the wheels of his vehicle cut a rope placed in that road, activating a trap. The jeep is then hit by a huge log sticking out of the trees. Chef reacts on time and jumps out of it, but hears another trap activate, and hundreds of darts fly towards him.
Chef blocks the darts with his bazooka, but then he senses a presence behind him. He quickly turns and raises his bazooka as a shield, blocking Hunter's attack, who wanted to use the other end of a knife to knock out Chef with one blow, failing miserably.
Hunter keeps his distance from Chef, who responds with a few shots from his bazooka. The hunter skilfully avoids the shots, before running towards the lake, dodging any shots from Chef who tries to hit him.
Hunter reaches the dock and dives into the water, staying deep, while Chef stays on the dock, shooting into the water in the hope that a shot will hit the target. Hunter stands just below the dock and Chef, with his knife in his mouth, before jumping onto the dock, breaking some planks, and kicking Chef into the air and throwing him into the water.
"Victory is mine" Hunter smiled mischievously, but then it's all over for him when a dart comes flying out of nowhere and hits him right in the back of the head. Hunter tries to react, but his mind is clouded and darkened when the dart has a quick effect on him, knocking him unconscious.
Chef Hatchet comes out of the water and spits some seaweed out of his mouth, and finds his opponent's fallen body. He smiles and puts one foot on it, declaring himself the winner.
Unnoticed, a shadow drifts away once the job is done.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the lake, Otis had watched the fight with Chef emerging victorious. Fearing being found, he chooses to look for another hiding place in another area.
He flees back to the camp, determined to try to take refuge in the communal baths. As he entered, another voice stopped him:
"DON'T GO IN! It's my hiding place!"
At that, Otis received a blow to the head that leaves him with a bump. He grunts in pain and sees that the one responsible for yelling at him and hitting him was Lucas.
"Lucas?" Otis was amazed. "Wow, for once you have understood the goal of the challenge."
"Don't call me a fool!" Lucas said. "I'm trying to find a way to escape down the toilet."
"Escape down the ...?" Otis raised an eyebrow. "Look, I don't feel like putting up with nonsense ..."
"AHA! Since Lucas is the silly boy, it turns out that everything Lucas does is nonsense! Well now I'm going to show you that I am very cunning, very intelligent, very clever, very…!"
"And very loud" Otis interrupted. "I'm surprised Chef didn't find us with those screams. We can still use this hiding place."
"Too late!"
The two boys turned to see Chef Hatchet standing by the door with a sadistic smile on his face. Lucas gave a panicked cry and ran, deftly dodging the Chef. Otis followed him in a moment of distraction from the Chef.
Lucas and Otis ran desperately while Chef tried to shoot them with his meatball bazooka. Lucas took advantage of the open door to the dining room to sneak in and hide, but it was too late for Otis, who was shot squarely and bathed in meatball sauce, knocking him out of the challenge.
"Crap" Otis growled as Chef dragged him across the floor by one foot.
Lucas looked out the window and sighs in relief. He had been saved by a hair.
"Get out of my hiding place!" Karen exclaimed furiously.
"Wow, sorry…" Lucas said in amazement. "The thing is, they kicked me out of my hiding place."
"Oh, I understand" Karen said with a tight smile. She opens the door and pushes Lucas out and yelled, "Chef Hatchet! Lucas is here!" and slammed the door.
Chef Hatchet appeared with his sadistic smile and started chasing Lucas. The boy was running hysterically through the forest when he hit a tree, from which Felix coincidentally fell.
"Ugh, what a blow!" Felix exclaimed in pain.
"Oh my! Sorry" Lucas apologized. "The angry bull is chasing me and I didn't see the tree because I'm nearsighted. I don't know what it means, but I know it has to do with sight."
Only then did he pay attention to Felix, who had started running in horror. Lucas shrugs, thinking it was just something he said. He turns around happily, when he saw Chef in the distance. He remembered that he was in the middle of a challenge and took off running.
It didn't take long for him to overtake Felix, who was quickly knocked down by the meatballs and eliminated from the challenge.
Confessional
Felix - "Being eliminated from the challenge doesn't mean anything to me. I don't need immunity, at least not yet ... And if my plans go well ..."
Raymond was quietly waiting in a familiar tree house for the challenge to come to an end when he saw through a window Lucas running desperately through the area.
"Lucas! Over here!"
Lucas heard Raymond's call and looked up to find the skater throwing a rope for him to climb. Lucas sighs in relief and quickly goes up to the tree house and hides with him.
"Didn't you find where to hide?" Raymond asked him.
"Yeah, but Otis and Karen kicked me out…" Lucas said tragically.
"How inconsiderate!" Raymond frowned. "Let them go find their own shelters ... Well, at least we are safe here. Chef has not traveled this area."
"We are safe!" Lucas squealed happily.
A few feet away, Chef Hatchet had found and eliminated Ginger, who was sighing resignedly. She had painted herself so she could camouflage herself in the bushes, but it wasn't enough to evade Chef's nose.
Confessional
Pearl - "Revenge called me, and I don't care if I could get revenge if I could lose the challenge. That's how humans are, right?"
In another area, Pearl comes out of hiding with an idea in mind. She crept back to camp, entering the dining room and finding a girl in a purple dress inside.
"Ah!" Karen exclaimed scared, but when she turned around, she smiled wickedly. "Oh, it's just you."
"Yeah, just me" replied Pearl with the same evil smile. "Planning another elimination?"
"Yes, yours" Karen frowns. "I don't know what Chris was thinking about bringing you back, but it won't change anything, because you're going to fall like everyone else in this contest."
"Do you believe that? Well, I'm not going to give you that satisfaction." Pearl leaned close enough to her that Karen could feel her breath. "If you want to play, we will play… but now there will be no blows from behind."
"I don't know what you mean" said Karen, smiling.
"But you confessed to being the cheater when they kicked me out!" Pearl said without giving credit. "You and Nigel were allied to eliminate me. And I saw what you did next to Nigel. You are a real monster."
"Pearl, you scare me…" Karen whispered, scared. "I do not know what you are talking about…"
"I'll make you understand" Pearl replied, shrugging. "For now it is enough for me to make you lose the challenge"
Then Pearl pushes Karen out of the dining room. The one in the purple dress stayed outside, and realizing how exposed she was to the Chef, she began to desperately knock on the door, begging her to let her in.
That was a mistake, because the screams attracted the angry bull, who ran towards her. With a panicked cry, Karen runs off in search of a new hiding place… but it was too late.
Pearl smirked when Karen was bathed in meatball sauce and eliminated from the challenge. She tries to get out and go back to her cave, but it was a fatal mistake. Chef Hatchet took advantage of the carelessness to shoot her and knock her down.
"Heh! Dirty plays makes dirty people dirty" Karen smiled at the scene.
"Well, apply the story!" Pearl replied furiously.
Sonya was trying to sneak into a better hiding place, waiting for the challenge to end, but that mistake would cost her dearly, as Chef spotted her immediately and began firing at her with his cannon of meatballs.
From the tree house, Raymond could see the action and smiles to himself. "If Sonya is left out, it will be you and me, Lucas."
"Hooray! We will win the challenge!" Lucas smiled.
Confessional
Raymond - "But only one can win the challenge… Now that I have reached this point in the contest, I cannot pass up any opportunity to win immunity."
Once Sonya was knocked down and eliminated from the challenge, leaving only Raymond and Lucas standing, Raymond applied a cruel tactic.
"Forgive me for this Lucas, but I can't pass up an opportunity like this" explained Raymond with a grin.
Lucas doesn't understand what he meant, but then Raymond pushes him out of the tree house, causing him to crash to the ground.
"Chef Hatchet! Lucas is here!" yelled Raymond, before shutting himself inside the tree house.
"Wow, I already like that boy" Karen said with a surprised smile.
"Raymond!" Lucas yelled at him from the ground, not believing what had just happened.
"Don't worry, Lucas!" Raymond told him. "It's just to win the challenge, nothing will happen to you!"
Lucas looks horrified at Chef Hatchet, who aims his meatball cannon directly at him.
"In my day, we used kids like you as a couch" growled Chef.
"Don't be offended, but you sounded like an old man when you said that" Lucas commented, but he would soon regret that.
Chef Hatchet's face was red with anger and steam was coming out of his nose, like he was a real raging bull.
Lucas gulps and tries to flee, but is immediately bombarded by the Chef's shots, covering him in a mountain of meatball sauce. All the contestants gasped.
"Lucas eliminated!" Chris announced, coming out of nowhere. "Therefore, by being the last contestant standing, Raymond wins immunity!"
"COWABUNGA!" Raymond exclaimed in celebration.
"You're a dirty creeping rat," said Hunter, who had finally recovered from the dart, before heading off to camp.
"And look for Hunter to say so and be right" Sonya added furiously.
"That was wrong, Raymond," Pearl said, shaking her head.
"What have I done wrong? You guys are just envious because I won the challenge!" the skater accused them.
"You have betrayed your best friend!" said the rocker. "Just to win a challenge. We couldn't be envious of someone like that."
"But… but guys, really?" moaned the skater.
All 9 contestants were already present at the elimination ceremony. Raymond had received his marshmallow before starting. Chris made an appearance, but he didn't have his classic plate of marshmallows. Instead he had a sheet of paper with the votes recorded.
"Alright, now that the 8 losers and the walking monster are present, I can read the votes. Raymond has immunity, but everyone else is in danger" Chris smiled, unfolding the sheet of paper. "Who will say goodbye to the contest tonight?"
Confessional
Hunter - "Hm, who to kick out? They are all pathetic ... There is none that is at my level."
Otis - "Karen is the perfect choice, and I would like to tell everyone how monstrous she is, but this is not the time. I have seen the whole lawsuit set up by Raymond's action, so this time I will only vote for her as a threat , and let's pray that someone else does it coincidentally."
Sonya - "After what Raymond did, no one will trust him again, but as he is immune, then I will vote for Felix. I don't know how he managed to get to this point, but it was time to cut the strings."
Felix - "Thanks to Raymond, Lucas thinks he is alone, leaving him completely at my mercy. With him by my side, I can finally get rid of a certain vermin."
Karen - "The time has come to get rid of her, and thanks to what Raymond did, he is willing to trust me to save his skin."
Ginger - "I can't believe Raymond did something so heinous. I don't want to think that my friends could do the same to me. Karen told me to be careful."
After a minute, Chris was commenting on the votes, as if he couldn't believe what he was reading. The other contestants were impatient.
"Read them already!" Hunter growled.
"Okay, okay, hold on to your seat" Chris told him, before reading the vows aloud:
"Two votes for Hunter"
"What? Did Felix vote twice?" Hunter growled, glaring at the blonde with clenched fists.
"Two votes for Felix"
"And it seems I was not the only one" said Felix with his arms crossed, returning the hunter's gaze with daggers.
"Two votes for Karen"
Karen gasps in amazement. "Why would someone vote for me?" she whimpers inconsolably, but glancing at Otis and Pearl in anger, knowing well that those votes were theirs.
"And in the end…" Chris smiled, ready to announce today's eliminated. "Three votes for ..."

"Sonya"
"Me? Why me?" Sonya was speechless. "Did you really vote for me?"
Ginger began to cry uncontrollably, going to hug her friend's legs as if begging for her forgiveness.
"I'm sorry… after what Raymond did, I was afraid that you could do the same to me… Karen made me believe that I couldn't trust you, but it was a mistake… A BIG MISTAKE!"
"Aw, chill girl. I'm not mad at you" Sonya commented, glancing at Karen, who was smirking. "Don't blame yourself for this. Don't blame the player, blame the game."
"Why don't you understand that with me?" moaned Raymond.
"Sonya, you have been eliminated from Total Drama: Enchanted. It's time for you to leave the competition… forever."
Sonya was sitting on the Sling of Shame, waiting to be shot. Everyone else was there to say goodbye.
"I will miss you!" Ginger sobbed.
"Me too" Lucas said.
"Bye, Sonya" Raymond said sincerely.
"I'll miss you guys too," Sonya said, before turning to her best friend Ginger. "Especially you girl. I'll be supporting you to win. Just watch out for the snakes." she glanced at Karen, who just smirked.
Chris pulls the lever, shooting Sonya through the skies, away from the island, and out of the game.
Confessional
Raymond - "In the end I voted for Sonya. Karen told me that after what I did she will not forgive me, so I should kick her out before this turns into a war."
Once everyone had left, Chris turned to the camera to close the episode.
"And with Sonya's departure, we have 8 contestants left fighting for victory. Who will be the next to face the slingshot? Find out next time at…"
"Total! Drama! Enchanted!"
They were all resting peacefully in their cabins, while a certain teenage alien sneaks back to the Spa Hotel to search for answers. He sneaks into his fly form, deftly evading any security system.
He goes to the control room and finds several folders with all kinds of information about the program, such as challenges, budgets, new facilities, and what the intruder is really interested in.
"Files on the mole" he murmured as he changed into his human form, and opening the folder to investigate.
When reading it, he tries to find information about his ally, or boss in his own opinion, being the infamous mole of the season, but he does not find anything related to her, but the photo of another person covered by a hood, and the description catalogs that person like the mole. All of this raises a question in the intruder's head.
"Karen is not the mole?"
And back then, it all goes off for the intruder when a shadow hits him hard on the head with a shovel. The intruder falls unconscious, and behind the fallen body appears an unknown figure whose face is completely covered by a hood.
"This has gone too far."
CONTESTANTS
Felix, Ginger, Hunter, Karen, Lucas, Otis, Pearl, Raymond.
Eliminated: Bianca (Raptor Falcons), Isaac (Raptor Falcons), Erika (Raptor Falcons), Chantal (Rabid Rabbits), Tony (Raptor Falcons), Clover (Raptor Falcons), Agatha (Raptor Falcons), Julien (Raptor Falcons), Nigel (Rabid Rabbits), Maggie (Rabid Rabbits), Diego (Raptor Falcons), Rita (Raptor Falcons), Yoshi (Rabid Rabbits), Sonya (Rabid Rabbits)
Chan! Chan! Chaaaaaaaaaaan! I love cliffhangers, don't you?
I'm sure this final scene will give a lot to talk about. Many questions you can already ask yourself with this:
Who knocked out Tony?
What did Tony find out?
Is Karen really a mole, or is it all a hoax?
If not her, then who is it?
Did Chris and Chef know about all this?
I can only assure you that all this will be important for the future of this story, but we will clear up some doubts in the next chapter.
But obviously we must not let this scene steal the attention of the rest of the chapter, which is also full of interesting things.
This chapter has supposed the elimination of Sonya. Of all the characters that remained, she was the only one who no longer had a plot, and was surrounded by characters who still have a few more things to do, so it was her time to leave.
The challenge was also, as Chris says, fun and simple. After all, Hide and Be Sneaky is one of my favorite Total Drama Island episodes.
Sonya's departure leaves us with our 8 finalists competing to win Total Drama: Enchanted. Last time I asked who do you support to win, and there were interesting answers. I tell you that this will be important in the future. Soon you will understand.
Well, I think that would be it for now. If you like this story, click the button to be aware of any updates, and also if you have time leave a review to support this project. See you next time. Goodbye.
