Author's Notes
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!
I know I said I was going to have this episode for Christmas, but between those last few days I was very busy helping with Christmas Eve dinner for my whole family.
However, that does not stop me from bringing you just the next chapter, one loaded with suspense and drama. I only clarify that this will be the last chapter that I will upload this year.
Before we start, we are going to respond to the usual reviews of the previous chapter.
Guest 1138: A few hours after reading your review, the promotional poster for Sing 2 came out. I'm already looking forward to it (although the cast of voice actors doesn't include Seth MacFarlane, Mike's voice actor). About the final song, I tried to give it the same excitement as with Shrek 2. Speaking of allies for Karen, let's just say the Hooded Guy won't be happy that its lackey sent an alien bug to crush it.
ZNBT: Nice job guessing the reference to The Amazing World of Gumball. It was just such a short and quick scene that I thought no one would notice it ... Oh, and by the way, I have read your profile and your story. I have not done a review yet just because between these last days I was very busy and I did not have time, but when I am free I will keep an eye on it.
Total Drama: Enchanted
Chapter 23 - One Coarse Meal
Karen had returned to her secret base in the underground facility on the island. She was in a very good mood today now that she has gotten rid of several of her problems in one night. Tony is no longer a danger, and Pearl is gone forever. Now she is ready to succeed. Things were quiet at the time, but then ...
"You think you are so cunning, don't you?"
BAM!
Karen didn't have time to react when the Hooded Guy grabs her neck and smashes her against the desk hard. Karen tries to get loose, but the guy was literally choking her.
"Did you really think that bug could handle me?"
"I-It was a s-strategy" Karen stuttered forcibly, as the guy grabbed her by the throat. "I got rid of him, didn't I?"
"Actually, I was the one who got rid of him" replied the Hooded Guy.
"But Tony isn't here anymore" she pointed out. "That's what matters".
"Oh, Karen, it seems you have forgotten a very important little detail that you must remember about me" said the guy, standing next to her before yelling at her:
"I'M YOUR OWNER!"
The Hooded Guy lets go of the girl, letting her compose herself.
"You are lucky that I am someone spiteful, girl, but I will not tolerate another conspiratorial ruse like this" the mysterious being warned her. "A punishment would be good for you ... What do you think would be a just punishment?"
"I think…"
"I THINK…" the guy interrupted her. "… It would be fair for you to compete fairly this time, if you know what I mean, right?"
"What are you talking about?"
"I have read the information about the next challenge, and I think it will be fair that you do not use any advantage."
"Whatever," Karen scoffed. "I'm not afraid of anything or anyone."
"Whatever you say" laughs the Hooded Guy before leaving.
Confessional
Ginger - "This can't be real! My only friend turned out to be fake! MY LIFE IS A LIE!"
Lucas - "Hooray! I'm in the top 5! My dad will surely finally be proud of me."
Otis - "Well, now that Pearl is gone, I have run out of allies, but with Karen exposed and Felix being as obnoxious as he is, I think we will all agree on who to vote next time ... Surely no one would have bet on me at the beginning of this season, but now I see myself with every chance of winning."
Karen - "Poor and innocent Pearl. She was a worthy rival, but it was only a matter of time until she failed again ... Anyway, I only have four rivals left, and they are all quite pathetic. I already have this in my bag."
Felix - "Let's be honest, people. My opponents are the following: a mentally retarded child, a schizophrenic with low self-esteem, an antisocial giant with no knowledge of the outside world, and a lucky cheater ... In case you haven't noticed, I'm the most complete contestant of this cast. I have a brain, a lot of self-esteem, skills, and I always follow the rules. I hope you take that into account when deciding who deserves to win."
Lucas was the last to get up in the morning. He was on his way to the dining room when he began to hear a lot of noise inside, but he doesn't seem to mind. He opens the door and finds the other four contestants fighting and arguing loudly.
"I NEVER WANT YOU IN MY LIFE EVER!" Ginger yelled at Karen.
"Poor little Ginger, do you want to be my friend, or my enemy?" she replied with contempt.
"With friends like you, WHO WANTS ENEMIES?"
"Otis, get your rusty tools out of my place! They are too heavy!" cried Felix hysterically.
"You could use a little muscle in those noodle arms!" Otis replied.
Felix lunged at Otis angrily at the insult and pulled his hair back, while Ginger chased Karen with a butcher knife that she kept in her dress.
Lucas just walked through all the chaos undeterred, as he went to the kitchen to get his breakfast.
Confessional
Lucas - "One thing I learned in life is that, if there is a problem around you, you just have to ignore it and wait for it to pass by itself ... It has worked for me many times, and I still do."
Otis - "If Karen was never the mole, then who is the traitor?"
Felix - "It seems that my theory turned out to be correct: There is no mole, and it was all a sham. It is evident that Chris only said that to spread mistrust and cause drama ... Quite twisted, and at the same time, effective ... However, Karen she is still a cheater who escaped the rules by sheer luck, and she will be the next to fall."
While everyone was arguing as loudly as possible, a shocking noise much louder than anything was suddenly heard, forcing everyone to cover their ears. Once the noise stopped, they all turned to the entrance and found the source of the noise: Chris's megaphone.
"A nice morning we have today, don't you think?" Chris smiled, but is only greeted by scowls and murderous looks. "And although I would like to leave you alone with your lawsuits for the rest of the day, we have a challenge to meet."
"Let's get this over with," said Felix. "I have some idiots to crush."
They all head towards the entrance, but before everyone can leave for the next challenge, Chef stands at the door and pushes them back inside.
"Where do you think you guys are going?" Chris questioned. "We are not going anywhere this time."
"Another challenge on the noisy game set?" groaned Felix.
"Oh no, of course not" Chris said. "We will do our challenge in the famous dining room."
All five contestants gulped, getting an idea of what this challenge might be about.
"So today's challenge will be…?" Karen dared to ask.
"A FEAST!" Chris exclaimed. "For today's challenge, you will have to taste the most disgusting, spicy, rotten, and inedible dishes, all prepared by our beloved Chef Hatchet."
Chef Hatchet flashes a sadistic smile and greets the contestants, causing everyone to cower in fear.
"The challenge consists of 10 rounds of not so delicious dishes that must be swallowed to the last bite," Chris explained. "If you cower, vomit, or give up in the middle of a round, then here I am legally forced to give you an effervescent to treat any possible stomach pain. The contestant who makes it through the final round, or in the best case, the who is left standing will win immunity."
Confessional
Karen - "Ugh, what was that idiot referring to with punishment ... I've always had a weak stomach, and I get to vomit with anything really disgusting, like giant insects."
Otis - "I have a TITANIUM stomach. I am capable of ingesting practically anything without any side effect ... I have earned this challenge."
"What if more than one contestant makes it to the end?" asked Felix.
"We'll see if that's possible" laughs Chris along with Chef. "Oh, and one more thing… There will be a special prize for the winner of this challenge."
The five contestants perked up at the announcement of a special award, only to then look at each other with hatred.
"Let's start with the first course!"
ROUND 1
The five contestants sat in a row, each with silverware in their hands. Everyone was waiting for Chef to bring his first dish.
"The prize is going to be mine," Felix told everyone. "Not just today's prize, but also the million dollars."
"Oh, Felix, you only managed to get here because of good luck, and thanks to me" Karen boasted with a smile.
"Look who's talking!" growled Felix. "Surely you violated every last rule of the book! The lucky one to stay in the contest is you!"
"Wow, Felix, you really are loud" said Otis, wiping his ear next to him. "Is it so hard for you to be quiet for five seconds?"
"And isn't it hard for you to put that dusty garbage bag aside for a second?"
"It's called being ready for anything," Otis growled at him.
Before they could continue arguing, Chris and Chef appeared from the kitchen, carrying five plates, all with the same contents. The five contestants receive their plates and observe their food.
"A sandwich?" Felix was surprised. "That's it?"
"Why is the bread green?" Ginger asked concerned.
"Let's start the first round with something simple and small: A mold covered sandwich" said Chris.
Ginger grimaces in disgust, Karen already feels like she's going to vomit, Felix frowns, Lucas just shrugs, and Otis smiles at the expression of the others.
Confessional
Otis - "Judging from the expressions of the others, this challenge will be much easier than planned ... If none of them can tolerate the first course, then I bet most of them will not even make it halfway through the challenge."
Lucas - "Meh, it's not the first time I've eaten something out of the trash."
Karen takes a bite of the moldy sandwich, but instantly regrets it and spits it on her plate.
"This is disgusting" she moaned.
"You won't gain immunity at that rate, Karen" Chris warned as they passed by.
Karen lets out a frustrated sigh and tries to eat the sandwich again, grimacing as she chews.
She then averts her gaze to the other contestants, and becomes angry to see them eat their sandwiches faster than she does. Ginger and Lucas didn't seem to have many complaints, Felix kept a determined expression while he ate, and Otis ...
"Done!" he exclaimed then, the empty plate in front of him.
The others present look surprised at Otis, who had a pleased smile on his face.
Confessional
Felix - "I am not going to let myself be defeated by a mammoth."
Felix and Karen pluck up their courage and start gobbling down the moldy sandwich, determined to win this challenge. Seeing that time is running out, Ginger and Lucas pick up their pace.
After another minute, the four of them finish their sandwiches. The contestants were already feeling sick from ingesting mold, except for Otis, who has a confident expression.
"Wow, you guys really did it," Chris commented. "Well, it will only be a matter of time until they start to feel nauseous."
ROUND 2
Chef arrives with the dishes for the next round. They were covered again to keep the surprise.
"Do you guys like pizza?" Chris asked out of nowhere.
"I love all the flavors of pizza!" Lucas exclaimed. "Except the one with pineapple. I hate those with all my soul."
"What a coincidence" Chris grinned mischievously as Chef reveals the next dish. "Coincidentally, his next dish is a few slices of pizza."
Felix notices that the slices have strange ingredients on top. He takes one and puts it in his mouth to taste it, only to later spit it out in disgust.
"These are insects?" he groaned, wiping his tongue to remove the taste.
"This pizza is made with flies, frogs, worms, spiders and scorpions," Chris explained, much to the chagrin of most.
"I was expecting worse" Otis commented, enjoying his meal.
"It's fine by me" said Lucas. "As long as it doesn't contain ..."
"And also pineapple, to give it a sweeter flavor" added Chris with a smile.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Confessional
Lucas - "Adding pineapple to a pizza should be considered a crime against everything delicious."
Ginger and Karen held their noses while they ate. Lucas was crying his eyes out as he ate, disgusted not by the bugs, but by the pineapple on the pizza. Felix was determined to win and ate all his slices quickly.
"Done!" They all turned to Otis, who had again emptied his plate and was cleaning his teeth with a toothpick as he rested his feet on the table. "Is that the best you have, Chris?"
"Is this the best we have, Chef?" Chris asked Chef next, who just shrugs.
Felix growls in rage and quickly devours his food, coming in third, after noticing with scorn that Ginger had also finished her plate before him. Karen wasn't going to give up like that so quickly, and she also managed to finish her meal as well. Having shed all of her tears, Lucas eventually finished her meal.
"Not bad guys, but now we start with the really fun" Chris smiled with Chef, leaving everyone fearful.
Confessional
Karen - "Oh please! How can this be worse?"
ROUND 3
"Junk food aside for a moment, the next dish is a little healthier" said Chris, as Chef brings in some bowls full of ...
"A salad?" Otis scoffed. "Come on Chris, I want a real challenge."
"What if I told you that this food will not be easy to digest?" Chris smiled.
Ginger tries to stick a fork into the salad, but then a vine comes out of it and snatches the cutlery from the girl, before starting to beat her. The salads come to life and begin to attack the contestants.
"How do you expect us to eat this?" Felix moaned as he tried to shake his salad off himself.
"Find out for yourself" said Chris. "If you want to win, you must eat that."
The five contestants were fighting over their own salads. After a while they understood that they should mash their salads if they want to eat them. Ginger pulls out her butcher knife and attacks her salad with it until it stops moving, rendering it edible.
Everyone saw the girl's action and tried something similar: Otis pulls out a hammer and smashes his salad, Karen throws her on the floor to smash it with her foot, and Felix got a knife and stabbed his salad mercilessly.
The only one who hadn't mashed his salad was Lucas, who ate it even though it was alive and on his face.
ROUND 4
Chef Hatchet brings a few smaller bowls. Some moan, thinking it's more salad, but this time it will be a surprise.
"It's time to go back for a while and remember a candy sponsored by Total Drama" Chris smiled.
The five contestants remove the covers from their bowls, and quickly recognize the contents: Some fishtail candies.
"These are…" Karen was going to say, but the host was ahead of her.
"Chef Hatchet's Total Drama Yum Yum Happy Go Time Candy Fish Tails!"
"Speaking of which, you still haven't paid someone to advertise these" Chef said to Chris with a frown.
"Who needs billboards, when I can display them on screen right now for publicity as a no-one-skip ad" Chris smirked.
This is followed by a rather familiar quick commercial ad about Chef Hatchet's sweet fish tails, basically consisting of random clips including spinning hockey masks, exploding donuts, and a seagull eating one of the treats.
Total Drama Yum-Yum Happy-Go Time Candy Fish Tails!
Eat them now, eat them then, eat them any time! Just eat them, yeaaaaah!
You ate it!
Back in the present, the contestants were already disgusted by the candy. Karen tastes one of the candy, but quickly spits it out on the floor in disgust.
"This tastes like rotten fish intestines with a garnish of fermented squid and dirty hockey gear."
"Compared to the previous dishes, this one is not so bad" commented Felix, still disgusted by eating those candies that are not sweet at all.
"They're not bad at all, Chef" said Otis, again being the only one who eats his food with a smile.
Confessional
Chef Hatchet - "It's nice to know that at least someone appreciates what I do."
After a minute, everyone could barely finish emptying their bowls. Some already had their stomachs in bad shape, but all were determined to win this challenge.
"Can you bring more? I'm craving it" Otis said to show off.
"Are you talking seriously?" Karen growled, trying not to throw up. "Are you enjoying this?"
Otis just shrugs while smirking.
ROUND 5
Chef brings some covered plates so as not to spoil the surprise. Chris had a wicked grin on his face, something everyone noticed.
"Why that look, McLean?" Felix dared to ask.
"Oh, no reason at all" laughs Chris.
Confessional
Chris McLean - "Let's say Chef and I made a bet. I bet one of them would throw up with the next dish, and Chef bet at least two would throw up."
Everyone receives their plates and reveals them, causing everyone to be horrified.
"Snails!?" Karen barely said.
"You expect us to eat live snails?" asked Felix.
"That's what you guys have on your plates" Chris replied simply.
Some contestants did not even dare to touch the snails. The only brave one was Otis, who took the snails to his mouth without fear and eats the slugs, everything and drool included, and then swallows them whole without chewing, leaving the shell empty. He continues the process with the others.
"You think you're so tough, huh?"
Otis shifts his gaze to Lucas, who also had some empty shells on his plate.
"Not bad, kid" Otis admitted with a smile.
Felix sees this exchange and plucks up the courage to eat too, but his stomach isn't as strong as the mechanic's. His face quickly turned green and the vomit threatened to come out, but the blonde swallowed it too.
"This is so disgusting," Ginger groaned, trying very hard not to throw up on the table as she ate the snails.
Karen was the only one who hadn't touched her food yet. She gasps loudly and picks up a snail and brings it to her face. She extends her tongue to taste it, but when her taste buds come in contact with the snail's drool, she can't take it anymore… and she vomits on the table.
Chef grunts and hands a $100 bill to Chris, who takes it with a smile.
"Karen is out of the challenge!" announced the host.
Chef hands a glass of the fizzy to Karen, who can barely move because of her stomach pain.
"One less obstacle," Felix smiled, his mouth covered in green snail drool.
ROUND 6
"The next dish will take care of the bad taste in your mouth" said Chris.
Chef Hatchet leaves behind huge balls of candy the size of a soccer ball.
"What the heck are these things?" asked Felix, holding up his candy ball.
"A giant candy!" Lucas exclaimed, giving him a strong bite.
Crack!
Lucas's teeth break on contact with the candy.
"Actually, this candy is a gobstopper, popularly known as jawbreakers, but a special one" Chris explained. "Their main characteristic is that they have a hard and unbreakable exterior, and a juicy and soft interior."
However, Lucas is unfazed and continues to try to bite the jawbreaker, now in great pain from his broken teeth.
"Chris, Lucas can't continue anymore" Felix told him.
"Of course I can!" Lucas exclaimed, still trying to bite into his candy.
"According to the rule book, you are no longer allowed to compete in this challenge of eating with a broken jaw," explained Felix.
"You heard Felix," Chris told him. "Lucas is also out of the challenge."
"Can I take my candy at least?"
"As you wish" Chris shrugs.
Lucas is escorted by Nurse Hatchet out of the dining room to be treated, leaving only three contestants standing.
"How do you expect us to eat a giant jawbreaker?" asked Felix.
Otis takes the jawbreaker in his hands, determined to break it. He begins to squeeze the candy hard, which after a few seconds begins to show cracks. One last effort and ...
Crack!
Otis' jawbreaker breaks into several pieces, making it easy to eat.
"These candies can be eaten if you lick and taste them right away," Ginger commented. "Little by little it will dissolve in your mouth. You don't have to chew it."
"You only have two minutes to eat all that candy, Ginger" Chris warned her.
Felix picks up his candy and throws it to the ground, but it ends up being the wood on the ground that breaks.
Ginger touches Otis on the shoulder, asking for help to break her jawbreaker. The mechanic shrugs his shoulders and does the same thing he did with his own candy.
Felix was throwing his candy everywhere, all with the intention of breaking it. He throws it out the window, out the door, against a tree, and even against the others present. In the end, only all the victims who break instead of the candy.
Felix was glaring at his candy, stating that he was making fun of him. As a last try, Felix heads the candy, and to his surprise, that manages to break it.
Confessional
Otis - "I already knew that Felix was a hard head, but I didn't mean literally either."
After having broken their tooth breakers, the three contestants managed to eat their candies, in passing grateful to have received a dish that tastes good.
"There are only three contestants left standing" commented Chris. "Let's see if they manage to get through the next round."
ROUND 7
"This dish is also one that is not really gross or disgusting" commented Chris.
Chef Hatchet brings three plates and reveals their contents: a small red pepper.
"This doesn't look too bad," Ginger commented.
"Don't tell me this is…" Felix groaned.
"A ghost pepper!" Chris smiled. "With some extra seasonings"
Chef covers the peppers with equally spicy seasonings, which terrify most.
"Each of you must swallow a ghost pepper, covered in hot sauce, wasabi, and hot chili."
"Can I get a glass of milk with this?" asked Felix.
"Sorry buddy. This challenge serves to show your stamina both physically and mentally" Chris smiled. "If you want to win, you must eat without complaining."
The three of them quickly brought their little pepper to their mouths, but instantly Felix and Ginger were puffing smoke from their mouths and moaning in pain.
"My mouth is burning!" Ginger whimpered.
"This burns! THIS BURNS!" Felix groaned, fanning his mouth with his hand.
"Rookies" teased Otis, who had already swallowed his pepper and was wiping his mouth with a napkin.
"I'm so thirsty!" Ginger moaned, her eyes watery red from the burning in her mouth.
"Here you go, Ginger" Felix had gotten a glass of water. "A glass of very cold water."
"Don't do it, Ginger!" Otis tried to warn him, but the girl was already drinking from the glass. "Drinking water is going to make it worse!"
"AHHHHHHHHHH! IT HURTS! IT BURNS ME! I'M DYING! AHHHHHHHHHH!"
"How naive you are, Ginger" Felix teased, laughing as he watched the girl run around the dining room while screaming in pain, until she fainted and fell to the floor unconscious.
Chef simply rolls his eyes at the girl's exaggerated drama and pulls her body out, leaving her a glass of milk by her side for when she wakes up.
"Next round," Felix growled, enduring the burning in his throat and his burning taste buds.
ROUND 8
For this round, Chef did not bring a plate or bowl of food, but two large garbage cans. Felix and Otis watched him curiously.
"Our next dish is in the smelly trash can?" asked Felix.
"Technically yes," Chris said. "For this round, you must eat the entire contents of the trash can, including what is inedible."
"You can't be serious" the blonde told him.
"I have no complaints" Otis commented, taking his garbage can. "Hey Chris, you haven't told us what the special prize will be yet."
"I'll tell you in due course, big man" said the host.
Confessional
Felix - "I'm really tempted to give up this challenge, but I was raised to be a winner. I have to do what it takes to win, and I can't give up on anything, not even that mammoth."
Otis picks up his bucket and brings it to his mouth, letting all of its contents fall into his mouth. Felix looks at the ugly contents of the bucket: remnants of the already disgusting food from this show, fruit shells, meat bones, fish heads, empty cans, and even dead animals.
Felix glances at Otis and sees that he was taking all the garbage to his mouth without fear. He growls and buries his head in the trash, devouring everything he can in seconds, without chewing and without tasting.
After several tense minutes, the two of them manage to empty the garbage cans. After eating it, they both burp and clutch their stomachs that were practically already full of garbage.
"I can't eat anything else" Felix groaned, clutching his stomach in pain.
"Speak for yourself" Otis said, but he also has to clutch his stomach for being already full.
"Thanks guys" Chris told them. "You saved me the task of taking out the garbage and paying the collector."
"Let's just get this over with," Felix groaned.
ROUND 9
"This dish will be quite special and one of a kind" commented Chris.
"What are you talking about?" Otis asked.
At that time, Chef arrives and hands each of them a wooden broom. The two contestants were confused.
"Do you want us to eat the garbage that we throw on the ground?" Otis asked.
"Of course not" Chris said with a smile. "You guys have your next dish in your hands.
"You expect us to eat a broom?" asked Felix incredulous.
"This time I agree with Felix," Otis stated. "The rest at least was edible, but this is already crazy."
"Well then you can both say goodbye to immunity, the special prize, and a million dollars!" Chris takes out the briefcase and shows the million dollars inside, while a chorus plays in the background.
Otis and Felix just sigh and pluck up the courage to eat. Otis begins to chew on the top of the broom, while Felix tries to break it with his teeth, but it only causes their tongues to fill with splinters.
"This is horrible!" Felix moaned, picking the splinters off painfully.
"This is nothing to me" Otis breaks the broom into several small pieces and eats them quickly, enduring the pain of splinters embedding itself in his mouth, tongue, teeth and throat.
After several minutes, both of them had finally finished eating their brooms. Otis was again the first to finish, giving him time to recover, while Felix took his time eating it, leaving him with an upset stomach.
"I'm impressed" Chris admitted. "I didn't think that two contestants would make it to this point. I already assumed that no one would be able to resist and they would have given up by now."
"Bring the last dish now!" Felix yelled furiously.
"We were keeping the last dish in a special place and we have to go get it, so you have a few minutes of rest" the host told them.
Otis and Felix let out sighs of relief and leaned back in their seats.
Confessional
Felix - "I really have a chance to win, but I cannot assure my victory against Otis in this challenge, if he is always the first to finish his dishes… I had to take desperate measures, and thus I can secure another night in this contest."
"Hey Otis" called the blonde. "You don't like me, and I don't like you, that's a fact."
"I couldn't have said it better" Otis commented, looking at him with contempt.
"But we both agree that Karen deserves punishment for all her misdeeds in this contest," continued Felix. "I propose this: once one of us wins this challenge, we all agree to vote for her tonight."
"And after that?"
"Once she's out of here, we go back to our battle in the contest" Felix replied. "May the best man win."
"Hm, sounds good to me" the mechanic shrugs.
"So we have a deal?" the blond offers his hand.
Otis considers it a brief moment… and takes Felix's hand, forming a final alliance against the cheater.
Confessional
Otis - "Do I trust Felix? No, not at all ... Surely he expects me to give up and give him the victory, but I'm not easy to knock down. I'm not going to put my trust in that trickster. Just in case, I'm going to win this challenge so I can sleep soundly tonight."
Meanwhile, outside the dining room were the three losers of the challenge watching everything. Karen was already feeling better in her stomach, Ginger had already drank the milk and relaxed her taste buds, and Lucas was still trying to bite into his broken tooth.
"What do you think they are talking about?" Karen asked then.
"They're arguing about voting for you," Lucas said simply, licking his candy.
"Why do you think that?" the one in the purple dress asked him scornfully.
"Because you're mean and a cheat who only got this far without playing fair" Ginger replied with a frown.
"Look who's talking!" she scoffed. "At least I have my merits to be here! You two are only here to be complete inept who nobody paid attention to! You should be grateful to me, because I was the one who carried you up here with my strategies."
"Thanks for that, and now we don't need you anymore, so you can get out of here" Lucas said, finally finishing eating his candy.
Confessional
Karen - "Ginger and Lucas are ungrateful. If it weren't for my traps that saved the Rabid Rabbits from elimination several times in a row, Lucas would have been kicked out long ago, and Ginger only got here for being my lackey, but now they are all against me and are conspiring to kick me out for good ... I can only pray for another stroke of good luck."
FINAL ROUND
Otis and Felix were sitting next to each other, waiting for the last dish. Then Chris arrives with a smile.
"I didn't want to come to this, but you two left me no choice" the host told them. "It's time for the final round!"
Chef Hatchet arrived carrying two jugs full of a disgustingly familiar milkshake. Recognizing him, both contestants gulp.
"The final round is an old drink from the previous season: Juggy Chunks!" Chris exclaimed. "The first to empty his mug wins the victory and the special prize."
"Isn't that the drink that caused food poisoning in all the contestants from the previous season?" asked Felix, horrified at the idea of ingesting that.
"Exactly!" Chris smiled. "By pure chance, I had two last batches that I had left forgotten in the sunlight, and here I already save myself the task of throwing them away."
"I can't eat this, and I'm not going to spend money on a fourth grade doctor," Felix commented.
"Don't worry, the effervescent is supposed to cure any stomach ailment," Chris assured him. "Or at least that's what the packaging said."
Otis and Felix take their jugs and look in disgust at the bubbling liquid inside.
"Why don't you just give up and get this over with right away?" Felix suggested to his opponent.
"You are free to resign, but I am not going to let myself be defeated by you."
"Oh, and to motivate you to drink to the last drop, I'll tell you now what the special prize is."
The two boys look at him expectantly, eager to know once and for all the much-mentioned special award.
"The winner of today's episode… will have the only valid vote tonight!"
"Wait, does that mean…?" Felix spoke excitedly.
"Today's winner will choose today's loser!"
As soon as Felix heard the last sentence, he didn't hesitate for a second and raised the jug to his mouth, drinking the smoothie without blinking, determined to win.
Otis took a while to react and also starts drinking the smoothie quickly, trying to catch up with his opponent.
"Why don't you give up? I can assure you that I will vote for Karen with that vote" Otis said between sips, not understanding how Felix can drink that without vomiting.
"It may be true, but I want to win too!"
Confessional
Otis - "I must admit that Felix's determination to win is admirable, and I'm even afraid to see how far he can go just to succeed."
The two contestants were sipping their drinks at full speed, determined to win the special prize. From outside, Karen, Ginger, and Lucas watched expectantly for the outcome. Chris and Chef looked excited to meet the winner.
After a few more seconds of drinking the disgusting liquid to the last drop ...
"DONE!"
The two contestants slammed their mugs against the table and belched loudly. Everyone is surprised to see them finish their drinks. Otis shows he can still hold on, but Felix is another story.
"We have a tie!" Chris announced. "That was not what I expected."
"Next ... round" Felix moaned, covering his mouth and doing his best not to vomit, while his skin was turning pale.
"That was all," said Chris. "I guess we should think of a tiebreaker challenge."
Chef Hatchet hands Felix a glass of the effervescent and helps him drink it. Then he hands one to Otis, but he rejects it with his hand.
"Are you sure?" Chef asked, concerned and surprised.
"My titanium stomach doesn't have that nickname for nothing" replied the mechanic proudly.
"Well said, soldier!"
Confessional
Chef Hatchet - "That boy fills me with pride. I would go to war with him any day."
For the tiebreaker round, they had brought a pool filled with a strange liquid. Otis and Felix were standing next to him wearing only their bathing suits. Karen, Ginger, and Lucas were sitting nearby to enjoy the challenge.
"What is that liquid supposed to be?" Karen asked, pointing to the pool.
"It's rotten, shredded pork grease," Chris replied. "For this tiebreaker round, Otis and Felix will have to dive into the grease and look for some immunity idols lying on the bottom of the pool. There are two idols, but only one is the real one, while the other is a copy made by our Today's special guest. "
"Special guest?" Ginger asked confused.
Behind Chris comes a boy of medium height with fair skin, orange hair, and several freckles on different parts of his body. He wears a white T-shirt and blue pants and sneakers.
"Please welcome our favorite cheater farmer: Scott!"
To the surprise of some, Scott was eating the same moldy sandwich that the others had eaten in the first round of the challenge.
"Do you have any more of these, Chris?" Scott asked, taking another bite of the moldy sandwich. "They are delicious".
"Of course someone in your class enjoys that crap" Felix commented scornfully.
"What are you talking about? Moldy bread and dirt are delicacies where I come from" Scott said, enjoying his sandwich.
"Sure, the garbage dump," Felix scoffed.
"Hmph, you already remind me of some girl I despise" Scott commented with a frown.
"What did you say, donkey?" Felix grabs him by the shirt threateningly. "Don't compare me to that C.I.T. I am superior to that squeaky girl in every way. I have succeeded where she has failed."
"You haven't won yet, and it's a fact that you can't beat that giant," Scott sneered, pointing at Otis.
"You'll see! Everyone will see!" Felix assured, letting go of Scott's shirt. "I'm going to win this challenge! And I'm going to win this contest!"
"I was actually referring to Jo" Scott commented, before turning to Chris. "What am I even here for? You can't just bring me in for a boring presentation ... It looks you have run out of ideas, McLean. After all, you're already too old to go on with this show."
"Oh, I just thought an old friend of yours would be happy to see you one more time" Chris said with a mischievous smile, ignoring the insult.
Fang emerges from the pool of bristle grease. Seeing Scott, the mutant shark smirks and cracks his knuckles.
"NO! NOT YOU!" Scott yelled in horror, before running off. "NOT AGAIN!"
Fang smiles and starts chasing Scott. Once the two are out of sight, Chris turns his attention back to the contestants.
"Well now that our special guest is gone, we can go back to the challenge" said the host. "As I have already explained, there are two idols, but only one is the real one. Whoever finds it will win the challenge and the only valid vote tonight."
Felix and Otis take their positions, determined to win at any cost.
"On your marks!… Set!… SWIM!"
The two contestants dive into the pool of pig grease, and they quickly get disgusted swimming in something so gross. The two quickly search for idols, but soon discover that there was something in the water that was going to make their search difficult.
"Why is the liquid shaking like that?" Ginger asked, seeing that the grease in the pool was shaking quite a bit, as if there was a fight inside it.
"Why is this stupid robot bear here !?" everyone saw Felix stick his head out of the fat as he screamed in horror. Behind him appears Scuba Bear, who shoves him back into the pool.
"Since Fang is busy, we needed a replacement in the pool" Chris replied simply.
The two contestants were taking their time finding the statuettes. Chris and Chef were expectant, and the three losers were nervous.
"I am quite concerned that Felix will be victorious" Karen commented after a while. "That boy is unpredictable. He could vote for any of us."
"He will not vote for me, because we were allies" said Lucas.
"And it didn't take long to turn against her" Karen followed.
"He could vote for you too Karen" Ginger told her. "You've cheated all the time, and Felix takes the rules very seriously."
"Or you too, dear" said the one with the purple dress. "You went unnoticed all season, and I suppose he will kick you out so he never has to think about you."
"What about Otis?" Lucas questioned. "He and Felix are at war right now."
"Speaking of Otis, who would he vote for?" Karen asked.
"He already made it clear that he will vote for you" Ginger replied.
"I GOT IT!"
Everyone looks expectantly at the two contestants rushing out of the pool, leaving Scuba Bear alone with his arms crossed. They were both covered in filthy pork fat, and they were coughing constantly, but they had a statuette in their hand.
"This has gotten exciting," Chris commented, going over to the two contestants. He takes the two statuettes and analyzes them carefully, before lowering them and saying:
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner!"
The five contestants looked at him expectantly, waiting for the final result.
"The winner of today's challenge is…"

"Felix!"
"SUCK IT, LOSER!" Felix exclaimed with a smile of joy, giving Otis a shove and laughing almost madly as he did a victory dance.
All four contestants gulped, terrified of the boy who now holds the fate of the four in the contest in his hands.
"Felix, you come with me to cast your vote" Chris told him. "The rest ... pray not to be voted out.
Confessional
Felix - "My stomach hurts from all the crap I had to eat, but it's worth it when I'm the winner. Now those losers fear me, and I've regained power over the competition ... Now, I wonder who will be the lucky one."
The four contestants were already present at the elimination ceremony, totally dejected and nervous about the outcome, waiting to know who Felix chose to be the next to take the Sling of Shame.
Chris arrives with Felix, while carrying an envelope that had the name of the voted contestant written on it.
"Contestants, today's winner has made her decision," Chris announced. "Today, one of the four of you will see your dream of winning a million dollars totally crushed and shattered forever by this vulture with delusions of grandeur."
Otis, Karen, Lucas, and Ginger shared nervous and scared expressions. Felix stood with his arms crossed, looking at everyone with superiority and malice.
"It's time people" Chris opens the envelope and reads it. "Today's eliminated from Total Drama: Enchanted is ..."

"Otis"
"WHAT?!" they all exclaimed in unison in surprise.
"Me? Why me?" Otis couldn't believe it. "What happened to our deal?"
"What have you done, Felix?" Ginger asked indignantly. "This was the perfect opportunity to defeat Karen!"
"Oh guys, you are all so simple" Felix scoffed, shutting everyone up. "Think about the situation: Who is the strongest contestant of the five? Otis ... Who has the cunning and skills to get around any obstacle? Otis ... Who has a whole fandom of reviewers supporting him to win? Otis ... You still don't understand? If I go to the final against Otis, I'm going to lose big. If it all comes down to a vote for the winner, Otis will take all the votes… On the other hand, if I go to the final against Karen, well the audience will prefer me… If you want to win, you have to think down to the last detail. "
"You're so twisted" Otis commented incredulously.
"Oof, thank goodness" Karen lets out a huge sigh of relief. "THANK GOODNESS!"
"Otis, you have been eliminated from Total Drama: Enchanted. It is time for you to leave the competition… forever."
"Fine! I don't care anymore!" Otis said wearily. "I was fed up with this miserable betrayals and backstabbing contest anyway."
Otis was already sitting in the Sling of Shame, waiting to be fired. The other contestants were present watching his departure.
"We're going to miss you a lot, Otis" Ginger said, giving him a hug that he accepts.
"Don't worry buddy" Lucas told him. "We'll take care of taking down the bad guys!"
"Who are you calling 'bad'?" Felix scoffed.
"Any last words, Otis?" asked the host as he took the lever.
"Anyway, guys, it was a pleasure to get to this point" Otis said goodbye. "Oh, and as for you two…"
Karen and Felix look at him, the girl seriously and the blonde with a cruel smile.
"I'll see you in hell."
And that was the last thing Otis said before he was shot through the skies, away from the island and out of the contest.
The four contestants look at each other, totally silent and not knowing what to think about. Everyone returns to their cabins to rest, while Chris turns to the camera to close the episode.
"And there you have it, people. Another chapter that ends in surprise" smiled the host. "We have four contestants left. Tune in next time for the most dramatic near-finale of…"
"Total! Drama! Enchanted!"
It was a quiet night on the island. The four finalists were resting peacefully in their cabins. Each had a whole section to themselves, not wanting to be in the company of their rivals to beat.
Out of nowhere, a purple sea creature emerges from the ocean and embarks on the island's beach, before radiating a bright green light and changing shape into a young insectoid alien.
His yellow eyes glow with anger, and he again radiates another green light, disappearing from sight entirely.

CONTESTANTS
Felix, Ginger, Karen, Lucas
And this chapter concludes with another interesting cliffhanger, although we all know at this point who the creature is.
There were many things to highlight, so we go point by point.
The elimination of Otis: Oof, I'm sure no one expected this outcome, especially considering that Otis dominated this challenge and was a fan-favorite. I never really planned to bring Otis that far, and on my original draft board, he didn't even reach the merge. I'm happy with that change, and it hurts me to kicking him out, since Otis has become one of my favorites in this cast, but in this game your favorite doesn't always win (I'm still angry with Leshawna's unfair elimination in TDI).
Now that Otis is gone, who do you support to win? I hope to read your responses.
This episode was littered with tributes to the franchise's disgusting food, such as the Total Drama Yum Yum Happy Go Time Candy Fish Tails (including the commercial made by Cody and Sierra), the jellyfish and cricket pizzas, and the infamous Juggy Chunks from Pahkitew Island.
This whole challenge is a homage of its own to Brunch of Disguntingness, one of my favorite TDI episodes. Although World Tour is my favorite season, Island has nothing to envy and can easily be anyone's favorite.
Scott's brief cameo was a last minute addition, to recall Revenge of the Island, the fake idol Scott used to trick and take out Dawn, and of course the famous Scott vs Fang.
This chapter also has its references to other cartoons. The jawbreaker, snails, and brooms are the most interesting.
The ending leaves a lot to talk about. What do you think Tony will do now that he has returned to the island with a thirst for revenge?
Now, do you still remember that I had mentioned a surprise for you in the previous chapter? You, the readers, should be attentive to the finale, because you will have an important role. What I'm talking about? The reason is this ...
YOU WILL VOTE FOR THE WINNER OF TOTAL DRAMA: ENCHANTED!
That's right, people. Once we meet our two finalists, and when I learn how to do it, I will post a poll on my profile where you should cast your votes. The contestant with the most votes will be crowned the winner of Total Drama: Enchanted, and the lowest voted contestant will have to settle for being the runner-up and alternate winner. (In the purest style of Total Drama, where in different countries we could vote on television for our favorite winner)
