Author's Notes
I'm very sorry the wait, and I'm even more sorry to give you this chapter instead of the grand finale, but I have my reasons for that, which I will explain in my final notes.
For now, I will give you this chapter that works as a bonus for the story, like the bonus clips of Action, World Tour and All-Stars, in addition to the iconic episode After the Dock of Shame. I hope you enjoy.
Important Notice: Read the final notes to find out how to vote for the winner of Total Drama Enchanted!
Do any of you still remember Bianca, the first eliminated of the season? Well, this chapter has her as the protagonist, all the events narrated from her point of view. She will post on her new blog about all of her experiences at Playa Des Losers, with the other contestants once they arrive at the resort with her.
Before we begin, we are going to answer the reviews of the previous chapter.
Guest 1138: Sorry to disappoint you now, but I'm telling you that there won't be any alien invasion as the season finale. The reason has to do with the facts, Tony doesn't have the pieces. Rita has the second in her possession (and it's not like he can just go ask her back), and the third piece remains unknown. However, we will have a lot of information about that and other things, which will serve to extend the plot further ... You will understand in the future.
ZNBT: Yes, those were the references. Basically, Ginger and Lucas's friendship is quite similar to SpongeBob and Patrick's (with Felix being Squidward in some way).
Candela Monsoon: In the same way surely nobody expected Owen winning Total Drama Island. Never underestimate others, because they tend to surprise you.
Total Drama: Enchanted
Bonus Chapter - After the Sling of Shame
Day 1 - Playa Des Losers
What's up, my followers? Here I am already back, and much sooner than expected. Right now, I am at the famous Playa Des Losers, a place where all those eliminated from the contest arrive ... Yes, you heard me well: I had the honor, or the dishonor, of being the first eliminated from Total Drama Enchanted! … Yeah, so humiliating. I can imagine what Ezekiel, Staci and Beardo must have felt that time.
Ok, embarrassment aside, I have to say this place is even cooler in person. This resort has it all! A pool with a slide, a jacuzzi, an all-you-can-eat buffet, a spa salon, rooms infinitely better than the cabins on that island ... I definitely give it five stars (It's a relief that the giant slingshot let me in the water near the dock).
Yes, it is sad to be the first eliminated, but this is a golden opportunity, because now I have a lot of free time to update my blogs, in addition to starting a new one, where I will try to interview all the contestants once they get here! (Emphasis on trying, because I feel like some won't give in so easily… and neither will I).
After lunch I went to see what my former teammates were up to now: a deadly game of paintball! These are the moments where I appreciate being here and not there. They shoot tranquilizer darts at each other, while I take a relaxing bath and then sleep peacefully in my soft bed.
I must admit that I feel a bit lonely now, but I have been told by interns who work here that the challenges will take place every day, so my next partner will arrive tonight. That host seriously enjoys abusing us. If I had to place my bets now ... I think Lucas will be next here. No offense, but that boy is not very smart.
See ya!
Day 2 - All for a Magic Trick
Well, to my surprise, the first one eliminated (okay, second, but you get me ...) ended up being that creepy guy Isaac. I thought that with that strange magic he has he would go further, but I can understand that they got rid of him so soon. After all, that boy gave everyone nightmares, and you can tell he enjoys it.
Although I like to believe in various things, magic wasn't on that list, or wasn't until Isaac just appeared behind me as if by magic, without having to go through that slingshot.
"Good night, Bianca"
I jumped in shock upon hearing that whisper, and turned to see Isaac looming over me with that terrifying smile of his. Does he never stop smiling? This guy reminds me too much of one of those creatures from horror stories, like Splendorman or Smiling Kitten. Seriously, this guy is at least ten feet tall, not counting his hat!
"Oh Isaac!" I greeted him. Despite everything, I must remain respectful. "It's good to see you… So, in the end they kicked you out?"
"Well, for something I ended up here" Isaac answered, obviously.
I mentally patted myself. What a silly question! Of course he was eliminated! I think that scare left me stunned.
"Although of course, I would be lying if I said that I had nothing to do with it."
I didn't understand what he meant by that. Did he sabotage the team? Did he vote himself? This guy is just one mystery after another.
The next day I asked him more about the competition and his last comment from him last night, but all he told me about that was:
"I had to attend to personal matters"
I tried to find out more about that, but Isaac refused to tell me more, and he decided to change the roles and ask me some questions that really bothered me, as if I wanted to know the exact date and time of my death.
"So, Isaac… what do you think of being the first to be eliminated?"
"I don't know. Tell me about it."
I mentally patted myself again, I forgot about that. Not only is this guy a complete mystery, but he also likes to make fun of others. From time to time, I hear him call others as "mere mortals" or "little sinners"
Well, our next partner is supposed to arrive tonight. I just hope Isaac doesn't want to give me a heart attack now that he's staying for the rest of the month.
See you soon!
Day 3 - Deception Letters
The rest of the day was spent ... relatively well with Isaac, with whom I played various card games. Isaac insisted on making it "more interesting" with bets, but I didn't want to risk it. I was also able to sleep peacefully, without that sorcerer giving me a scare when I just woke up. I was going to comment on it, but decided that it is best not to push my luck.
At night our next partner had arrived: Erika. Shortly after arriving she went to her room as if she was in a hurry for something. I guess she's sad to be kicked out of it, so I decided to leave her alone and talk to her tomorrow.
The next day I was finally able to meet Erika, who told me what had happened to her: she had received a letter from her "parental units" (I think it speaks of her parents) advising her that they were sick and they needed her. That seemed very confusing to me. Erika was not even a whole week in the contest and her parents are already asking her to return home due to an illness.
"I don't find any logic to this" Erika told me during lunch, and by the way I noticed that she still didn't eat anything. "I contacted my parental units the night before, and they replied that they were in perfect condition."
Ok, so obviously someone has played a dirty trick on her. I went to see my former teammates doing a play (and I found out there are special guests!). There I could see what really happened: the letter was written by Karen. That snake did another mischief again! Don't think I forgot what that cheater did to me, but what she did to poor Erika is even worse!
Here I am already waiting for her to be eliminated, but from the way things are going, it seems that she will not fall so easily.
"I don't understand why she would do something like that" Erika commented.
"You still have a lot to learn, my dear," Isaac had told her, who seemed to have a taste for meat since his plate had all kinds of meat.
I still don't understand what Isaac is referring to by all those mysterious comments.
"Hey Isaac, it's not my concern, but ... why are you always smiling?" I asked him.
"It is my way of showing my power and dominion over mortals."
And there it goes again with that of "mortals". I daresay he is also a narcissist. Well, I just had to wait for our new partner. I wonder if anyone from the other team will ever come, since everyone here is from the Raptor Falcons.
We'll see…
Day 4 - AHOY!
As if predicted, the next to arrive was the pirate girl Chantal, and she seemed in a bad mood, as when I wanted to talk to her, she instantly cut me off and locked herself in her room for the rest of the night.
During the morning she seemed calmer and told me what happened to her: they preferred Hunter over her. This is the first elimination that doesn't involve Karen, or at least not directly.
Chantal had contacted her pirate crew. I have a hard time believing that "sky pirates" story. It sounds too much of a fantasy tale, but she was very insistent on that, so I just decided to play along. She had called them to escort her out of there, but the interns told her that all losers must stay here until the contest is over.
Chantal hadn't taken it well, but she had no choice. She is now adjusting to the resort, which I begin to enjoy more now with a little company, as strange as it is.
Bye!
Day 5 - Out of this World
Another boy came to the island. I did not remember well his name. Toby? Tommy? Something like that ... Well, the point is, this boy was even sharper than the pirate. As soon as he arrived, he went directly to lock himself in his room, without saying hello or anything like that.
During the night as I was pacing the corridors I passed by his door to chat, but instead I heard his voice, as if he was talking to someone else, a woman by the tone of voice, and she did not sound happy. Could it be that his mother was scolding him? I'm already starting to feel sorry for him.
The next day I knocked on the door to invite him to breakfast, but there was no response. Later I went inside on my own, only to realize what happened: He had run away!
Upon realizing it, some interns went looking for him, but there was no sign of him, so they surrendered. Chantal had complained, not because he had run away, but more because they let him go, but not her.
"Why do you think Tomy ran away?" I asked the others present during lunch.
"Actually, his name is Tony" Erika had corrected me. "I am not sure about that".
"He had to go to look for a toy that he lost" Isaac replied, leaving us again with the intrigue. This clown enjoys playing with our thoughts.
Well, if that was the case, then he should be back soon.
Until then!
Day 6 - Mission Accomplished ... more or less
Tony (yes, that's his name, sorry for my mistake) hadn't returned yet, but in the meantime our new partner arrived: Clover. Unlike the last ones, she was more social and talked to me about the game, explaining that the culprit for her elimination was Rita. First Karen, then Hunter, and now Rita ... Who will it be next? Felix? Only he is missing to form the band of evildoers.
Returning to Clover, she fitted in well at the resort, but at dinner time with everyone, she noticed one was absent.
"Where is Tony?" the agent had asked.
"According to Isaac, he had to go looking for something" I replied.
For much of her stay, Clover was constantly pleading to be let out, I suppose so that she can look for Tony, but the interns forbade it. Why so obsessed with Tony? ... Is she in love with him? Now that's interesting.
Well, wait for our next partner. I would like those bad guys like Hunter or Karen to come to prove their defeat, although I'm not sure.
We can only wait ...
Day 7 - Mother Russia!
I was already waiting at the dock for the next eliminated. It turned out to be that military girl and ex-leader, Agatha. As soon as she arrived, she pushed me to the ground and demanded that I take her to her room. I tried to explain to her that I didn't work here, but she didn't care.
Over dinner she told me that she was fired when she had helped destroy the competition… literally. She hit three boys in her play, gave Sonya a fatal head butt, and before she came, she beat up two others in a waterfall.
After dinner, she ordered me and Erika to clear the table. I told her for the fifth time that we didn't work here, but either she didn't believe us or she didn't care ...
I bet it's the second.
Day 8 - A "Fun" Show
It was already a habit for me to wait for the next eliminated, who this time was that bomb boy Julien, but there was a lot of fireworks right behind him when he fell into the water!
Seeing me, he quickly came to my side with a daring smile.
"Hey babe. It's been a long time without seeing you".
When I took him to the resort with the others, this guy started being playful with everyone, both women and men, until he had the courage to tease Agatha, who kicked him in the kiwis. That must really hurt.
During dinner Julien was trying to annoy Isaac, and it seemed to work, as the magical boy was constantly telling him not to dare to touch him, but Julien was ignoring him. I was starting to worry what Isaac will do to him if he doesn't stop.
In the end, before we went to sleep, I listened ...
"Don't you want me to keep you company?" Julien said to Isaac, running his hands around his waist.
Suddenly the lights of the place flickered and a small tremor was felt, with Isaac standing undeterred.
"What the hell was that?" Julien was surprised.
"Have you heard of succubi?" Isaac asks him.
No one was sure, not even Julien, much less did we want to know the answer. When they didn't know the answer, Isaac's smile seemed even more sinister and pleased than usual.
"Rest in peace"
I didn't hear from Julien again for the rest of the next day. Whatever Isaac did to him yesterday, it will have left him traumatized.
Well, I can't say they didn't warn him.
Day 9 - Broken Heart
An elimination that I did not expect, really. The next eliminated ended up being Pearl. Now that I do the math, I realize that my team should only have three members left. Even Team Victory didn't do that badly!
Well, the thing is, Pearl already looked like she was going to cry, so I rushed to comfort her. She hugged me tightly while shedding tears, explaining that she was fooled in the worst possible way: In a human-sized board game challenge, Nigel gifted her with a fake dice that sabotaged her team's efforts, but the worst thing is that it was a master plan from Karen!
Seriously, how many losses does that snake have on her list? Has no one yet realized how evil she is? I really hate those kinds of people.
Going back to Pearl, she was still depressed by what happened, which practically broke her heart, thinking that she and Nigel had "something special", but it turns out that it was all a facade. Of course, we all saw it coming.
"We warned you, comrade," Chantal said to her during dinner.
"Don't worry," Isaac then said to her, "You will soon tell that fox what you think."
Yes, Isaac continues with those intriguing comments, but being addicted to crazy theories, I start to analyze them. If my theory is correct, then Nigel will be arriving at the resort soon. That would do him good after what he did to poor Pearl.
In other news, Tony was back at the resort too! But he was not in a good mood. What is the problem with this boy? Couldn't he find what he was looking for?
Shortly after arriving, Clover was already next to him as if she were watching him. This almost looks like she's stalking him, though not as much as Sierra stalking Cody, which is a relief. From time to time I can listen to small conversations between the two, as if they wish the worst to the other ... I already want to know more.
Until then!
Day 10 - Charming is my Game
Pearl is adjusting to the resort quite well, and so am I, now that there are more normal people in this place to talk to. No offense, but almost everyone here is quite… strange, like Isaac, Chantal, Agatha and Julien, or they just seem very out of place like Erika and Tony.
I was already wondering if someone from the other team will ever come, since everyone here is from my old team, except for Chantal, who also noticed this detail.
My predictions in the end did come true with the arrival of Nigel. Pearl quickly went to greet him and complain to him about all the drama. Of course, Nigel explained everything, but to my bad luck they discussed it in private. Luckily Pearl told me about it later. It seems like they are going to start over, but as friends for now, without alliances or betrayals.
Nigel settled into the resort pretty quickly, and was even the first brave man to make bets with Isaac at a game of poker. Final score? Nigel lost his wallet.
By the way, Julien has finally recovered from the trauma that Isaac left him two days ago. When he saw Pearl with Nigel, he immediately went to keep them company, which undoubtedly bothered Nigel who saw him as "a bad third" seeing him so close to Pearl.
See you soon with our next partner!
Day 11 - Yee-Haw!
It seems like the other team's good luck streak is finally over for them, as next here was cowgirl Maggie, who was no doubt in a bad mood about her elimination, because on his way to her room Nigel bumped into her to taunt. What did the cowgirl do? She pushed him into the pool and went to isolate himself in her room.
Today she was a little calmer and she told me what happened: the person responsible for her defeat was Felix. I was already wondering if that tycoon would do something like that. Those four bad guys are getting dangerous. She told me that the boys had formed an alliance to kick her out. I could see out of the corner of my eye that Nigel was smiling with pride, happy to know that his alliance managed to remain standing despite everything.
She also told me how frustrated she was about losing. It seemed that she did need the money, but she refused to tell me more. All she wishes now is for Felix to fall and face defeat.
I could tell that she has approached the pirate girl and they started chatting. Glad to see Chantal finally being more social with a friend than she does know, as everyone here was strangers to her, and Nigel is not a very good influence.
See you tomorrow!
Day 12 - Free Day
Well, we got the news that no one was kicked out, so we all decided to take the day off together to hang out, and it was my chance to see how everyone is doing.
Things go like this: Agatha keeps exercising with weights (She forced some of us to train with her, leaving us sore for days… My arms still ache as I write this). Erika keeps wandering around watching what other people were doing (that girl could use a hobby). Chantal and Maggie have already caught up and it is customary to see them together at certain activities. Nigel and Pearl seem to get along, with Julien still being the bad third. Clover finally got off Tony a bit and went to relax in the pool with the others. Isaac kept playing with his cards, occasionally inviting us to a game of poker (something Nigel always accepted, unable to overcome his constant defeats).
Some amusing events occurred during these days, such as a loud explosion in the garden caused by Julien that sent several interns to the hospital. A curious detail is that Isaac was in the garden when the explosion happened, and he was totally unharmed ... I wonder if that boy is even human.
Another funny occurrence was in the middle of a poker game between Nigel, Julien, Isaac and Chantal. Julien constantly argued with Chantal about how she always beat him. Another thing is that Nigel once tried to cheat, but Isaac slapped his hand on the table with force surprising everyone.
"DON'T EVEN THINK IT" Isaac growled at him with black eyes in a frown, but without losing his smile.
"Alright, alright…" Nigel gave up, although I managed to notice that the boy swallowed hard in shock when he saw Isaac squarely in the eye (Let's add that we also told him what Isaac did to Julien that left him traumatized).
Another event was when Tony became addicted to candy. It all started when Julien teased him, inciting him to "taste a little of his chocolate." We all knew that joke had a double meaning, but Tony didn't. Luckily, we save him before he does something he can regret.
Of course, Tony wanted to know more about the chocolate, even ordering Clover to show him about it. Did this guy seriously never taste chocolate? That's sad ... The fact is that giving that chocolate bar to Tony so that he could taste it ended up being a mistake, since just taking a bite, he swallowed it immediately, and then growled like an animal demanding more.
Shortly after we learn that someone broke into the candy vending machine, and we found Tony sitting on a mountain of candy with his mouth smeared in chocolate.
Day 13 - Normality is Over
Well, the normal days ended once Diego arrived at the resort. Some here were strange in themselves, but Diego surpassed them in every way. As soon as he arrived, he introduced me to a friend of his, a golf ball named Wilbur… Yes, I'm not kidding. That golf ball is called Wilbur.
And that was just the beginning. Later Diego went to raid the kitchen and took a large piece of raw meat for himself, then he got into the pool with a spear wanting to hunt fish, and was prowling at night in the garden like an animal (don't worry, there was no victims ... at least not that I know of). However, the worst was when he got together with Julien, forming a chaotic duo, since both ended up setting fire to the garden, the kitchen, and even the pool (don't ask how they could, because I don't know)
Regardless, Diego proved to be quite talkative, and I was able to have a chat with him about the contest. He considers this contest as "too easy for him", and quit in the end to save his friend Otis. He also adds that that "creeping snake" (I assume he is referring to Karen) already has its days numbered, because Otis already knows the truth. Could Otis take Karen down? We can only wait.
Another thing he told me about was "giant space bugs." I did not understand what he meant by that, but I decided not to take it too seriously, since it is difficult to know what Diego is talking about. Did he really see real aliens? I have a hard time believing it. I know aliens do exist, but what he told me seemed too far-fetched.
In other news, Chris had arrived at the resort and asked all of us a question: "What do you all think of Karen?"
We all instantly blurted out some of our opinions about Karen. Most were negative, rarely a little compliment for her game, but they all shared the same general opinion.
"She is a tricky creeping viper"
"I can't wait to see her here. She is the worst"
"She's very cunning, although she wouldn't have gotten far without her traps"
"She better lose, so I can get revenge"
And similar things, although the best was undoubtedly the opinion of Pearl, who stayed for the end. At first, she was trying to be optimistic, trying not to be too cruel to Karen, but the more she talked, her pent-up anger came out more, until by the end she exploded and said everything she thought of her and everything she wanted to do to her like revenge. We all gasped, including Agatha, at the strong reaction. We never expected something like that to come out of Pearl's mouth.
I could see Chris grinning with pleasure, and he asked Pearl to follow him into a private room. Once the talk was over, Pearl had a big smile on her face, but she didn't want to say anything. I guess she will tell us later.
Until then!
Day 14 - Missing
The next day we found out what Chris and Pearl had privately discussed: She is going back to the competition! Of course, some complained, like Agatha, who declared that "only the fittest deserved to return, and not that mosquito".
Within hours a boat arrived to take Pearl back to the island. Before that, Nigel had taken her for a talk, and after her we all supported her saying that she take down Karen and avenge us all.
Once she left, I went with Nigel to ask him what he said in private, and he replied that he only gave her some advice that will serve her. I just hope he didn't teach her to be a trickster, because that won't look good.
As it all was going on, Clover then noticed that Tony was missing again, and we assume he sneaked into Pearl's boat. She again tried to convince the guards of the place to let her go out and look for him, but again they stopped her.
I forgot to mention that the security of the place had increased after Tony's escape, but it seems that it is still just as inefficient. Still, it's enough to stop Clover from escaping, even the hard way.
During the afternoon, everyone was by the pool enjoying the water or sunbathing (or the shade in Isaac's case). Seeing them all together, I decided it was a good time to hear opinions from the group.
"So ... who do you think will win?" I asked them.
"Wilbur is convinced that our friend Otis will win," replied Diego, who was carrying a spear with fish.
"This time I agree with the caveman. Otis is the only one on my team who is worth it. He will win, or Hunter" said Agatha.
"Otis is strong, I don't deny that, but usually strong contestants are the main target after the merge," Nigel explained. "So, I say Felix or Raymond win."
"If anyone is going to win, it's Sonya," Maggie replied, with Chantal nodding.
"I'm not sure who to support as long as Rita doesn't win," Clover commented in passing.
"By my calculations, Ginger has a fair chance of winning," Erika had said.
"And no one is going to mention Lucas?" I asked then.
Absolutely everyone here burst out laughing. Lucas as a finalist? Not to offend, but even I don't believe it.
"Lucas? That boy is just a fool! " Nigel laughed. "I'm surprised he's not here yet."
"I've noticed that Hunter already has it as his next prey," Maggie said. "Lucas has no chance against him."
"I've calculated the odds, and Lucas has nothing going for him against contestants like Hunter, Otis and Yoshi" Erika commented.
I personally also support Sonya, although knowing this game, she could end up being unfairly eliminated.
We can only wait…
Day 15 - Experiment Failed
In the end Clover didn't have to worry about her bets, as the next to arrive was none other than Rita. Despite everything, the scientist accepted a chat with me and told me what happened: a zombie apocalypse! ... Yep, so fantastic, my followers! A zombie apocalypse!
Shortly after adjusting to the resort, Clover took the opportunity to join her, and it was clear that she still held a grudge against her.
"Don't expect an apology, because I don't regret what I did," Rita said to her, assuming it was that betrayal.
"Do you know where Tony went?" Clover asked then.
Rita was staring at her and led her to a private place. Unfortunately, I could not know more and I was left with the intrigue. Did Tony sneak into the contest?
The next day we all decided to start with our bets on our next partner.
"I hope it's Felix, so I can make fun of him," Maggie said.
"It better be Karen, so I can show her my revenge" said Agatha nudging her knuckles.
Basically, we all want Karen to come.
Goodnight!
Day 16 - Kitanai Torikku (Dirty Tricks)
One of the remaining contestants in the contest who didn't get much attention was Yoshi. Still, the reaction towards the Japanese boy was quite positive, saying that he too is a good candidate to go far. Well, the next eliminated ended up being him.
Yoshi told us that they were all manipulated by Felix into believing he was the mole and got rid of him for it. I watched as Nigel laughed at how absurd it sounded, and Maggie frowns upon hearing that Felix was surviving longer than desired.
"Don't worry, pal," Nigel told him. "The good life is lived here!"
The truth is that Nigel is right ... as long as you are not near Agatha to give you orders ..., or you are not harassed by Julien or Diego ..., or the presence of Isaac makes you uncomfortable ... Other than that, here you live in luxury.
Changing the subject a bit, I went to ask Yoshi about the "space insects" that Diego told me about days ago, and he finally gave me a concrete answer: Apparently, a device from Rita teleported them all to a planet of giant insects… I can't believe all the things I'm missing on that island! (Rita must be a true genius to create those kinds of devices)
There are times when I'm relieved that I'm not playing Chris's deadly games, but because of things like this there are also times when I wish I was there.
Day 17 - Rock 'n' Roll!
Most shocking elimination of the season so far: Sonya. Most of us present were surprised to see her here, and we went to meet her to find out how she ended up here.
As it turns out, Karen convinced Ginger and Raymond to vote for her, taking advantage of the drama between Hunter and Felix. By this point, we all agreed to support Otis and Pearl in their mission to take her down.
Although I feel bad that Sonya lost, I must admit that I am quite glad to have her here, adding more joy to this place with a little concert in the evening for everyone, as well as finally having someone to chat with.
"Who do you think is going to win?" I asked her over dinner.
"Ginger, definitely," Sonya said with a smile. "I just hope she realizes that Karen doesn't want to be friends with her."
"That little girl has no chance against those titans" Nigel scoffed in passing.
Well, I have to admit that Ginger has it very difficult against beasts like Hunter and Felix, but as the saying goes:
Hope is the last thing you lose
Day 18 - Wild Tiger loose in the Resort
Things didn't really get any better with the arrival of our next partner: Hunter. To begin with, he had arrived tied up in a straitjacket and a hockey mask. In short, he was very furious. We all doubted if it was a good idea to let him go, but Diego was brave and he did. What did he get in return? Hunter broke his back with a knee.
On the way to his room, Julien and Nigel saw him and made fun of him, but that was a serious mistake. The hunter grabbed them by the neck and threw them into the pool. Luckily, they didn't drown, but I think Hunter didn't care about that. Once he locked himself in his room, we all agreed to leave him alone, including Agatha. You have to be fierce, cruel, rude, sadistic, and very fearsome for even Agatha to respect you, and I think Hunter fits the bill.
This time I decided not to try to chat with him. I went through his door and heard him muttering things like "That snake is so dead" and "I'll have her head anyway"… I think he's already making plans to murder us all. I'm going to lock my door, although I think that won't stop it.
I hope I survive the night. Wish me luck!
Day 19 - COWABUNGA!
We all saw the next eliminated arrive, but to everyone's surprise, he was totally in a cast and covered in wounds. Sonya and I immediately went to help him and take him to his room to rest, discovering in passing that the guy in a cast was Raymond. How cruel that Chris to shoot him by that slingshot with all those wounds.
"That was so cool! I want to do it again! " exclaimed Raymond
Did he ask to be shot by the slingshot? Did he hit his head on landing? I didn't understand it, and I think it's better this way. Sonya and I decided to leave him alone to rest, and apparently Nigel offered to take care of him.
The next day we found that Raymond heals faster than usual, as he was able to walk again. He still limped quite a bit, but he recovered well.
"I'm curious about your quick healing ability, Raymond" Erika had told him when she saw him walk again.
I have noticed that Erika now spends a lot of time with Rita. I'm glad to hear that she already has a friend here to hang out with, and I'm surprised by Rita as well. That girl seemed like she preferred to spend time with robots than humans. Those two girls are one for one.
"Hey Raymond! Want to join us?" Nigel called him, who became addicted to playing poker against Isaac. This boy can't accept that he always loses. Sonya tried to stop him, but Raymond decided to play.
End result? Raymond lost his skateboard, his helmet, his snowboard, and his jacket.
Over lunch he told me how he got all those injuries: it turns out there was a deadly obstacle course challenge from Chef Hatchet, and in the final part, Lucas had pushed him into the danger zone, taking all kinds of hits.
Hunter also came out of his confinement and even joined us at dinner, and he already seemed calmer. I could tell Hunter gave a little snort at the mention of Lucas.
"And who do you support to win?" I asked the skater.
"I support Lucas, although he will have a difficult time"
"How is it possible that that miserable rat is still in the game?" Hunter growled in passing, driving his knife into the table.
"Jealous?" scoffed Raymond.
We both fell silent instantly when a knife flew past and embedded itself in the wall. In order to have only one functional eye, Hunter had thrown it with surgeon's aim, as I saw a small cut on Raymond's arm.
Day 20 - Welcome Back
Well, in the end our desires to see Karen here vanished when Pearl had returned to her place. At least now she wasn't crying. In fact, she was in a good mood.
She told us what happened: a music and singing challenge! Instantly Sonya joined us and wanted to know more. Apparently the six finalists had to sing a song in front of a jury, made up of the Drama Brothers! I could hear Sonya muttering her wish for being there.
The more she told us about it, the more of those present joined to listen, but what caught everyone's attention was:
"In the end I stood up to Karen, and revealed her facade to everyone."
We all started celebrating. If Karen was discovered, then the next one here is going to be her without a doubt.
"I can't wait to have her here" smiled Agatha. That girl scares me, although not as scary as Hunter, who was the only one not celebrating, and neither did Isaac.
"Never celebrate ahead of time," Isaac advised us as he sipped from a glass.
I've gotten used to his mysterious comments, and this time, I think we'll have to wait a bit for Karen to get here.
Oh well, as long as she doesn't win, we're fine.
Day 21 - Our Last Hope
Among the five remaining contestants there were always many opinions. Some had their faith that Ginger will make it to the final, others that Lucas has luck on his side and will survive, and even some who even supported Felix, saying that his victory will help him to lower his growing psychopathy, and no one gave Karen any support.
The only thing we all agree on is that Otis is the perfect candidate to win. He was the only contestant who was worth it and had everything to win, and he was already everyone's favorite. Even Agatha and Hunter supported him!
However, we were bitterly surprised to see the newcomer, and he was none other than Otis. During dinner he told us that the person responsible for his expulsion was Felix himself (something that angered Maggie).
"Well, I have to admit that I wasn't expecting that" Raymond commented upon hearing that story.
The next day we relaxed in the pool, and then discussed our bets on who will win. After all, there are only four options left.
"Ginger has a lot of chances now," Sonya said.
"Yeah, she's the only good one left on the show," Maggie agreed.
"Lucas is also very close to winning," recalled Raymond. "It would be great if he could win."
"That rat only got so far out of sheer good luck," Hunter growled. "Felix is superior to those three insignificant plagues."
"So you support Felix? Didn't you hate him?" Pearl was surprised by Hunter's response.
"At least Felix is TRYING to win" explained the hunter.
"Yeah, I think that winning would be the best thing for Felix" said Otis, "That way maybe he will get off a little of that madness of his and finally leave us alone."
"I think I'm going to support Felix too," Nigel agreed.
"Doesn't anyone support Karen?" Julien asked us. I'm starting to notice that Julien is the only one here who doesn't think so badly about Karen. It's good to see everyone getting even a little bit of support.
"She better not win, or I'm going to make sure of that!" Agatha replied.
The grand final is already very close, and we are invited to see it live. I don't know who to support, then I don't want to fail my bets. Oh well, we just have to wait.
See you soon!
Day 22 - Sky Pirates… in the Sky
An unexpected event had occurred, for several miles away we heard a gigantic explosion in the direction of Pahkitew Island. An hour later an intern came in saying there was a call pending for Chantal.
After a few calls, Chantal explained what happened: Pahkitew Island had self-destroyed. We were all in shock at the news, but the surprises did not end there, because an hour later we saw a gigantic airship in the sky that landed on the beach.
It turns out that this was the pirate airship that Chantal told us so much about, the ship was called The Ravenous Condor, in honor of Chantal's condor pet bird. Chris called her requesting a ride, and she saw an opportunity to make everyone who made fun of her eat their own words.
We all boarded her and went to haunted Boney Island, where the challenge had taken place, so there were no casualties. The remaining contestants were well received, and there was also… Ezekiel? I forgot that he ended up here after the end of the controversial season Total Drama All-Stars. It is good to know that he is still alive, and now they agreed to take him to a psychiatric hospital to give him the help he needs so that he can return to society.
Once we all boarded the aircraft together, we saw that Karen had suffered serious damage. It turns out that she was on the island at the time of the explosion, and she barely managed to escape in time, taking great damage in the process. I must admit I feel a bit sorry for her, but in part she asked for it.
For the end Chris announced that there is still an elimination ceremony to be done, but I will save that for tomorrow.
Day 23 - Karma
I always liked to believe in karma, and it's always satisfying when it finally hits someone, especially if it was a despicable person. Well, in the end karma managed to do its thing when Felix and Karen were finally eliminated from the contest. It was a treasure hunt challenge and Felix couldn't find his, and Karen was too hurt to continue.
However, the biggest surprise were our two finalists: Ginger and Lucas. It's funny to think that we were all scoffing at the idea of Lucas as a finalist, not expecting it to come true. Ginger is also a good bet, and she shows us that no one deserves to be underestimated.
The airship brought us back to Playa Des Losers. I wanted to interview the two losers, but neither was available. Felix fell asleep to a tranquilizer dart from Clover, and when he awoke he went to lock himself in his room. I was going to knock on his door, but upon arrival I heard a lot of noise, of things breaking around there and several screams of fury like "I deserved to win!" "It's not fair!" "I was robbed!" and things like that.
With Karen it was a similar story, because I couldn't interview her either, because she had also locked herself in another room, and she was yelling at anyone who touched to go to hell. I wanted to know more about all that reaction to her downfall, but decided to leave her alone for now.
Those who were available for a final interview were our finalists, who agreed to chat with me.
"So how did you guys pass the contest?" I started. "What do you think about being on television?"
"I had an amazing time!" Ginger exclaimed happily, "It's a shame it's going to end soon."
"Wait a minute… are we on TV?" Lucas asked surprised as he ate a chocolate bar, "Why didn't anyone tell me?"
"Are you surprised to be in the grand finale? Did you see it possible?"
"I never thought I would get here, and I feel like someone very lucky" Ginger replied.
"Of course it was possible!" Lucas replied proudly. "Have you ever doubted me?"
Well yes, absolutely no one saw it coming, but I didn't want to lower his self-esteem by saying that.
"Do you think you have a chance to beat the other in the final challenge?"
"Well… I don't like to brag, and I just want to say I'm glad I got here. Win or lose, I'll be fine" Ginger replied, before turning to Lucas, "I'm glad to be in the finale with a true friend, to who also wish him luck."
"Thanks, Ginger" Lucas smiled. "I wish you luck too, but I do want to win."
"What do you think of your relatives who will surely be seeing you at home?"
"I want to say something to my dad and my brother Mark" Lucas began. "Once I take the money home, I WILL NOT GIVE THEM A PENT."
Both Ginger and I recoiled from that reaction.
"Could you explain why you think that of them, Lucas?" I asked him.
"Dad always has Mark as his favorite, and he never remembers me" Lucas crosses his arms.
"Oh, I see… Do you want to win so your dad will pay attention to you?"
"No, I want to win to show that I am more better than Mark. He is always out there being everyone's favorite, but when I win, I can rub the million in his face!"
"I like your attitude, Lucas" I nodded, before turning my attention to the other finalist. "What about you, Ginger?"
"I hope Miss Shirley is supporting me from home. We could use the money very well" she explained.
"Miss Shirley?" I got confused with that. "Are you talking about your mom?"
"Miss Shirley is not my mom."
I decided that it was a good time to finish the interview. I knew there was a limit to this type of talk and if I continued, I would end up getting into their personal lives. Also, I'm sure we'll see more of them in the grand finale.
Well, it seems tomorrow we're finally going to celebrate the season finale, and I've already done a little interview with everyone. Yes, it was complicated and there were little difficulties, but nothing that I can't handle. I thank my old teammates for helping me make this possible, and I hope we stay in touch after the show is over.
I don't know who to support, since they both have their own merits and they both deserve it… I guess we'll have to wait to hear the support from all the viewers.
Bye!
And so this funny chapter concludes. As I have already explained, this chapter is not part of the contest or the final, but it works well as a prologue, since now we know that they are in Playa Des Losers waiting for the final challenge, in addition to knowing a little more about our characters outside of the competition and their final opinions.
I was originally going to upload this bonus chapter after the final, but I was already so eager to tell you so many things that I couldn't resist.
First, the reason for my absence is because I am working on my other story, which is a rewritten and Spanish version of this story. I thought it would be simpler and faster, but some changes are so many that it is taking me longer than expected. They are not really important changes, I only do it so that the story can be more fluid, and I am not satisfied with some of the chapters (especially the first ones, which I wrote too quickly).
Second, I thought this is a good time to let you know ... the voting is officially live! You all have two ways to vote:
-You can go to my profile where a poll will be waiting for you and there you can vote for the person you want to see winning at the end.
-If you can't do that, then there is another solution: you can send me your vote in a PM. Just a quick little message telling me who you support, and if you also want an explanation as well.
PLEASE VOTE! The choice you make will not simply be to see Ginger or Lucas being the winners. No, there is more than just that:
Depending on who wins the season, the next one will have some changes in its structure. If Ginger wins, certain contestants will participate, and if Lucas wins, the cast will be a little different. They will not be big changes, but they will be quite curious.
In any case, vote for who you think deserves to win. Your vote can be decisive!
Nor do I ask you to vote immediately. You guys have plenty of time to think about your options, as I'll be busy for now on my other story. However, the sooner you leave me your vote, the better I will have the details in mind for the next season.
And as an added bonus, as an apology for having to keep you waiting, I'm going to give you a little information about the upcoming season. Here are some details to keep in mind before watching the next season:
-It won't be a SYOC. My intention with the next season is to give more relevance to characters who did not have much participation this season, and doing a SYOC could spoil that idea.
-There will be THREE new characters that will join the cast in the following season, two boys and one girl, and it is likely that we will meet them already in the special episode.
-Unfortunately, at the same time, four contestants from this cast will have to stay out and will be released to the Peanut Gallery, two boys and two girls.
-With these details, it is already confirmed that the new season will have 21 contestants, who will be divided into three teams of seven.
-The winner of this season (Ginger or Lucas) will not participate in the next one. Their victories would serve to momentarily close their plots, and bringing them both would cause them to become cannon fodder.
-The acronym of the title of the new season is TD: IAT, and it will have a background theme for the challenges. In Total Drama Action, the challenges were based on movie genres (horror, fantasy, disaster, police, superheroes, etc). Here it will be different, but you can already get an idea.
-One of the characters in this cast will return to take the role of the main antagonist (we must make room for new villains).
-The three unfinished arcs this season: The Heart of Darkness, The Alien Invasion, and The Hooded Guy, will be explored further in the following season.
I think those are enough details to whet your appetite for the new season. I can only assure you one thing: If you think Enchanted was an intense season, then the next one is going to far exceed it.
Well, that would be all from me. I hope to receive your votes. We will read each other in the authentic season finale, which will be called Last Race to Victory. See ya!
