The day began. Brigitte was nervous watching Torbjörn putting his things away in the transport. Tracer had come for us at seven in the morning so she could get to Gibraltar early.
"Very good, this is the last box." Torbjörn said before putting the last toolboxes on the transport.
"Very good. That means only Reinhardt's boxes are missing." I said smiling but before I touch the boxes Brigitte quickly stopped me.
"That won't be necessary, Benja. In fact, I'd like to travel in the van with Reinhardt. I know it'll take a long time, but heights make me a little tense." Said the girl with a nervous smile making me nod.
"Very good. All aboard, next stop. Gibraltar!!." Tracer yelled with a smile. Torbjörn started to get on the transport but before I could get on I received a call from Athena.
"Very good. All aboard, next stop. Gibraltar!!" Tracer yelled with a smile. Torbjörn started to get on the transport just like me. Reinhardt was coming out of the house with his new armor and before he could speak, Brigitte quickly approached him.
"Hey, Reinhardt. I was thinking, why aren't we going to visit that castle you've told me so much about for the last time? If we do, I'd like to say goodbye for a bit before we go to Gibraltar." the girl said with a smile making Reinhardt smile.
"Sure Brigitte, no problem." The man said with a smile before Tracer walked over to them.
"All set. Are your things ready to load on the transport, Reinhardt?" the girl asked with a smile making the man laugh.
"Actually, Tracer. I'm going with Brigitte for one last ride on our old friend before we join the battle." Reinhardt said with a smile looking at his truck.
"Oh, I understand. Well, in that case, good luck. Benja and the others will be waiting for you. Call us to pick them up." Tracer said with a smile before disappearing and appearing at the entrance of the transport.
"Very well gentlemen. Buckle up, next stop. Gibraleón." Tracer said with a smile as the ship began to clear and we slowly began to leave the city behind.
"Very good Mei. Now, be very careful." Winston said with a smile. The girl was now with the ape scientist in the evidence room in Gibraltar.
"Very good. Just a drop." the girl whispered before adjusting her weapon for charging. After a few days, Athena had given her some blueprints for the girl's icy weapon upgrade, and after a night of work, the girl was ready to charge her weapon again.
"It worked?." Winston asked curiously. Mei grabbed the gun from him and pointed it at a practice dummy. The girl first tried the first trigger, the weapon fired a cryogenic blast that froze the target.
"Amazing, it works! But what does this other trigger do?" Mei asked before pressing the main's low trigger. Suddenly the weapon seemed to generate an icicle before firing it, the ice stake struck the test dummy's head causing the head to roll across the ground with the icicle embedded in the head.
"Interesting, a secondary function on the weapon capable of momentarily jamming the barrel with an icicle before firing it with a force capable of serious damage." Winston said in astonishment while Mei looked at her weapon in astonishment.
"Winston. I sense a transport approaching, Tracer's back." Athena said. That statement made Mei and the scientist gorilla smile.
"What happened here?." I asked with surprise. Although part of the base looked good, part of the place was covered by ice.
"Well, Mei had a little accident, memories?" Tracer asked with a nervous smile.
"Benja, good to see you!!" Winston yelled as the transport slowly made its way to the landing pad.
"I think the same thing. How is everything around here?" I asked curiously making Mei shyly scratch her arm.
"Well. I had an accident with my icy gun, I accidentally overloaded the reactor core to try to shoot to show Winston, but I accidentally triggered a meltdown and well." Mei shyly looked to the side looking at the huge glaciers.
"Don't worry Mei, I can fix it. I'll take care of it." I said before flying. That amazed Torbjörn before he saw my hair covered in Fire.
"Fire Element: Dragon's Breath!!" I yelled before shooting a blast of fire causing ice to slowly start to melt.
"In the name of the lord. That boy breathes fire like a dragon!!" Torbjörn yelled as he saw me melt all the ice in the place.
"It's a long story. Benja waits until everyone is together to say it." Winston said with a smile. Torbjörn, seeing the ape, approached to shake his hand.
"It's good to see you back, Torbjörn." Winston said with a laugh making Brigitte's father laugh.
"It's good to be back in action after a long time. Benja said it might be useful to help you out a bit." Torbjörn said with a smile making the ape scientist laugh.
"Come on, I'll show you a few things." Winston said as they all went back to the base. I was going to do the same but then my Icoffin started ringing.
"Hello who speaks?." I asked curiously but then I had to avert my ears from the cell phone when I heard shots.
"Benja, it's good to hear from you. Hey, I need to ask you a favor." Cassidy said before shooting some Talon soldiers.
"What do you need? And what is that noise? Why is there so much wind?" I asked with concern. All I could hear was gunshots and the noise of the wind, it was a miracle for me to hear Cassidy speak to me.
"It's a long story. Let's just say my train ticket was expired. Listen, I need you to head to my old home in the desert where we met before. I need you to bring more ammunition for my gun and grenades, I didn't think I would have company before arriving in Egypt." The man said before holding a soldier with a key before throwing it off the train.
"Don't you want me to travel there? I can use all my magic to quickly go to where you are." I said with concern before shutting up but Cassidy was confused.
"Did you say magic?" The man quickly had to take cover before loading his gun with the few bullets he had left. He barely had enough for 3 more rounds.
"I didn't say anything. I'll look for the bullets and grenades but I need you to send a location to my cell so I can find your house." I said nervously before seeing the map glowing. When I took it out I saw that in a state of the United States there was a marked place.
"That's my location. Hurry up, I'll try to keep them as best as possible. See you in Egypt." Cassidy said before ending the call.
"I should go now." I said with concern before flying off at high speed.
"Athena, this is Benja. Tell Winston I'm heading to Cole Cassidy's trip home on urgent business." I said with concern before quickly leaving.
"Copy. I'll report your absence, good luck." Athena's voice said as I slowly left the place.
The trip this time I don't know had prolonged too much due to my concern. I started looking at the location marked on the map and I could see a small town in the distance. I slowly started to stop flying before landing on the roof of a building.
"Very good. Let's see where the house is." I said before checking the map. Suddenly the hologram now seemed to show an image of all the streets of the city before showing a marked point.
I started running from roof to roof at high speed until I reached a huge mansion. The huge hearth was white as if it were pure marble, the front was well-kept without any hint of lack of workmanship, I could see from a window that the interior was fine and elegant and classy.
"This is like seeing Eliza's or Nefera's house." I whispered sadly thinking of the two girls before sighing to look at the map again.
"They'll be fine. They know how to take care of themselves." I said before going up to the roof of the mansion before continuing walking. At that moment I looked ahead before noticing a backyard. The place looked well cared for, with roses everywhere, a beautiful camping table and in the distance I could see a small house.
"Will that be your house?" I asked before walking over and opening the door. The first thing I saw was that the place was a wine cellar but I could see another door in the distance. I entered the place without noticing something on the ground.
"Wow, that's a lot of wine. Did Cassidy like all this?" I asked curiously before opening the door at the end of the hall. When opening the room, I noticed that the place looked dusty, abandoned and with many things around.
"Wow, he asked me. Where are the bullets?" I ask before looking around. There were motorcycle helmets, old glasses on the ground, alcohol bottles, some bandages. I kept looking until I checked a drawer where I found the bullets and some grenades.
"Very good. It will be better to save them." I said before starting to put things in an old backpack but suddenly I felt something and saw that it was a revolver. The revolver appeared to be a copy of Cassidy's gun but with a Lacer under the barrel.
"It's like Cassidy's gun but. It's different." I was going to dust off the gun but suddenly I felt something on my back.
"Looks like the fly fell into the web. Turn around, put your hands up, and don't try anything." Said a female voice that he recognized. I slowly raised my hands and turned only to see Ashe with a sawed-off shotgun.
"Well, well. If you're Cassidy's friend, didn't they teach you not to touch other people's things? Drop the gun." The girl said seriously making me drop the revolver.
"You're in the wrong house. If you were looking for Cassidy let me tell you, he never stays put in any one place. But I'll take care of him later, you're my interest now. Bob." Behind Ashe, the muscular robot approached us and stared at me.
"Take him inside. I want to talk to him right now, if he tries anything, you'll already have a target for your target practice." Ashe said with a smile as Bob tied my hands together before leading me inside the mansion.
"This is your house?." I asked nervously but Ashe seemed upset hearing me speak.
"No, this is my parents' house. They are now probably on a fucking business trip like always." Said the girl angrily while I looked at things around.
After a few minutes now the three of us entered an office. The interior was very large and spacious, a huge desk with a comfortable chair, but what caught my eye was a painting of Ashe and her family.
"Bring something to drink, Bob. The drive here made me thirsty." the girl said before sitting behind the desk as the robot set me down on a chair before leaving the room.
"Tell me your name." Ashe said seriously making me tense up. I didn't want to show my powers, I was afraid not only to destroy the place but also to cause damage unless it was necessary.
"Benjamin Escudero." I said nervously but then I saw Bob bring a tray with two glasses and a whiskey.
"Ashe. I guess Cassidy must have told you about me, huh?" the girl asked before pouring the whiskey into the two glasses.
"Not really." I said but swallowed as the woman knocked the bottle over roughly before handing me the other glass as Bob released me before falling behind me.
"Go ahead, drink. You must be thirsty from the journey too." Ashe said before drinking a bit while I looked at the glass in front of me.
"Sorry but. I don't drink." I said before setting the glass aside while Ashe had a raised eyebrow.
"That's a shame. It's a good quality whiskey that I save for a chat or to blow off steam." Ashe said before looking me in the eye.
"I think. I can take a sip." I said sheepishly before looking at the whiskey in the glass. I took a small sip before putting the glass on the table, I could feel a burn running through my throat while Ashe had a smile.
"I didn't have time to introduce myself properly. My name is Ashe, and this is Bob." the woman said as the robot next to me waved to her.
"I think I'm hitting the nail on the head if he said why you're here, right? Well, you wonder why I asked about Cassidy, right? Well, let's just say he and I were good buddies." Ashe said before placing a photograph in front of me. In the photo was Ashe and Cassidy together.
"Us, we're the Deathlock gang. And Cassidy was one of the best I could have on my team. It all started a long time ago." Ashe said as the girl played with her glass.
"We were feared, respected and very skilled in what we did together. Regardless of the risks, the two of us got out of any situation and danger without a scratch. Everything was perfect, we followed what I said and the plans went perfectly." Ashe said as the girl looked at the photo before getting annoyed.
"Everything was perfect. Cassidy helped me with only one price, that I let him stay in the hidden wine cellar in exchange for him helping me with the robberies. I thought it was going to be the beginning of a life of unstoppable robberies. But Everything changed one day." Ashe said angrily remembering a day that everything changed forever.
"What happened?." I asked curiously causing Ashe to look away angrily.
"That's not your shit. I didn't bring you here to talk about it, I want to hear from you." Ashe said seriously making me tense up.
"I remember our little meeting. You made a bow and shield appear out of thin air to cover yourself with that idiot Cassidy. But here's the detail, I didn't see any device under your clothes, let alone see you with that bow until you made it appear. How did you do it?." Ashe asked seriously looking into my eyes while I sweated.
"Me. I don't know what you're talking about, I always had my bow under my trench coat and." I tried to move but Bob held my arms tight.
"Don't play smart-ass with me, you better talk or Bob will make you talk." the woman said before nodding her head looking at the robot. At that moment Bob began to squeeze my arms hard, making me more nervous.
"Answer. Who the hell are you?" Ashe asked while Bob tightened his grip on my arms.
"I'm just a friend of Cassidy's. That's all." I said nervously but then the woman pointed at me with the shotgun she used when we first met.
"You'd better start singing now. I'm losing my patience with you, I tried to be nice but you force me to be the bad guy now. Answer my question!" The woman yelled furiously causing my hair to slowly begin to emit electricity out of fear, something that Bob noticed.
"Electrical Element: Storm Body!!" I yelled before releasing a strong electric shock causing Bob to let go of me. Ashe quickly started shooting at me. Ashe suddenly saw something that left her in shock and that is that my fox ears came out causing me to jump to avoid the shots.
The room was filled with silence. I saw that Bob was waiting for some order but I noticed that Ashe was petrified in her place with her arms shaking.
"What. What the fuck are you?" Ashe said as the woman tried to sound threatening but seeing my kitsune ears she couldn't come to attention.
"This was my mistake. I'll just say this, I'm a monster looking to go home." I said before showing my tails making Ashe back up even Bob took a step back when he saw me.
"A Monster? Impossible." Ashe whispered in surprise before looking at his robot friend.
"Bob, do something!!." Bob snapped out of his trance before he started shooting at me. I quickly made a shield appear to avoid the bullets.
"I have to get out of here now." I said with concern before looking at the backpack with Cassidy's things. Slowly my hair began to glow a mint green which caught Ashe's attention.
"Ivy Element: Wrath of Mother Nature!!." I yelled before hitting the ground hard. Everything began to shake and suddenly Bob and Ashe felt some roots throw themselves at them, the robot and the woman would try to destroy the roots but they were quickly stopped.
"I'm sorry, Ashe. I promise I won't bother you again." I said before taking the backpack. I was going to go to a window but...
"You are wrong to trust that filthy bootlicker." I turned to see the woman trapped in the roots.
"You don't know his secrets, I lived a life with him. Let me tell you this, trusting him will be a good decision, but one day, the truth will come out and you will doubt the things he does." Said the woman looking at me.
"Watch your back. He can build trust, but many will seek his head and if you're with him, they won't hesitate to kill you, even taking off your tails and ears." Ashe said looking at me. At that moment, I touched the ground with my palm, causing the roots to slowly disappear.
"Maybe it's true. But I know he wouldn't do this to me, I may have known Cassidy a few days ago but my instincts say he can be trusted, even if he tried to kill me he would have done it before instead of helping me." I said looking at Ashe.
"You are too sweet for this world, boy. In this world the darkness turns off the light on us, in a moment you will be alone and you must start fighting to survive. You will have no friends, you will have enemies, you will have no one to help you, everyone they will search for your head. In this world you must learn to fight, or die." Ashe said seriously looking at me.
"Where I come from. I fight for freedom, I fought for a world full of peace even though that goal is impossible since good and evil are in a delicate balance. Even if evil falls on my land and threatens the life of my people or my family, I will fight with my blood to protect them. It is what I do as a hero, and I intend to give this world the peace it deserves and that it so badly needs." I said seriously making Ashe laugh.
"How sweet. You certainly aren't from around here, Bob." At that moment I noticed the robot approaching before giving me the revolver I found.
"I doubt very much that you are one of those people who uses weapons, but believe me. You better use this to defend yourself, if you use those abilities that you have like you did a while ago, rest assured that all the governments will be after you." Ashe said as I took the gun that Bob was giving me.
"Of course. That weapon has been here a long time, you're going to need much better weaponry. If you're good with a bow then you should be good with a shotgun like mine." The woman said while I looked at the weapon.
"But, never used a revolver before." I said before pretending to point the gun at someone. I always saw Parasoul with his service weapon and the black herons with his weapons but he had never touched a weapon before. Except one day where everything changed for me.
"It is said that it is much better to learn by doing. If you were able to dodge my shots with that shield then it won't be hard for you to use that weapon, even with that laser sight so every shot counts. " Ashe said but the woman noticed that she was somewhat unsure.
"I don't know. I can't keep using my magic?" I quickly covered my mouth with my hands while Ashe and Bob froze at what I said.
"Magic? You." The woman then looked at the damage she caused, then the electricity she released and our previous fight making Ashe smile.
"Well, I must admit that now you do have my full attention. Listen, there's no such thing as magic here, that's why I'm giving you that weapon, the ammunition and the grenades. What you have can get you out of trouble at any time, but if you use it in front of a lot of people, chances are they'll be scared or startled."
"If this makes you feel better and calmer listen. Come here when you can and I'll teach you all about shooting, between us, I have the best aim in this house and in the whole world." Ashe said with a smile before firing a bullet at a flower. I was surprised to see a petal fall to the table.
"Give me your number, child. You won't be able to come visit all the time. When I call you, you'll come here quickly so I can show you everything you need. Understood?" Ashe asked looking at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes I understand." I said looking at the camera but then I saw Ashe pat my head.
"Good Guy." Ashe suddenly removed her hand from my head as I started to purr.
"Sorry, it's just that when I get touched on my head I feel a comforting tingle." I said sheepishly making the woman look at me with a raised eyebrow before she ruffled my hair.
"We'll talk about this on your first day of practice. Go away, I have things to do." Ashe said as Bob led me to the door but I stopped as we were about to leave.
"Ashe. Promise you won't talk about this with anyone, please." I said before looking at the girl with concern.
"You have my word, but the cost of my silence is not free. We'll talk later, now go." The woman said as I left the room leaving Bob with Ashe.
"What?." The woman noticed that Bob made an expression as if he was mocking before reminding her of Ashe when she patted my head.
"Grow up, Bob. It just took me by surprise, I've never seen a person purr before. Go away, I need to think about all this crap." The woman said seriously as the robot left. Ashe stood up and watched me fly away, though that astonishment made the girl smile as well.
"Having you among my men would be too much for someone shy like you. I think we'll get along once we meet again." Ashe said before turning to her writing to think about the next hit.
While flying to Egypt, I looked for a moment at the revolver Ashe gave me and then I thought about everything the girl told me. Cassidy's theme was the one that caught my attention the most and made me think. He knew it was Ashe's house? What did he do to make the woman want her death? I sighed before continuing to fly.
"Cassidy, it's me. I'm getting close to Egypt, where are you?" Ask while now I'm calling the Overwatch agent.
"I'm in Cairo. I'll send the location to the map you have, did you have trouble getting what I asked for?" Cassidy asked while the man was in a bar.
"Yeah. But, Cassidy. Why were your things at Ashe's?" Ask with doubt. My question caused the man to put his drink down before he could drink.
"What did she say?." Cassidy asked seriously before he put his glass down and put it on the table.
"She told me that you used to be part of her gang and that you worked together on multiple robberies in the past. Is all of that true?" I asked curiously making the man sigh annoyed.
"Listen. I know you might have more questions for me, so I'll tell you this. When you get here I'll tell you all you want, but I'll just tell you this. Ashe is not to be trusted, she can be seen as a reasonable and refined woman, but that woman is even deadlier than a rattlesnake, got it? Cassidy asked seriously making me nod.
"I understand. I'll see you later, I'm coming." I said before turning off my Icoffin before looking at the weapon Ashe gave me again. Now I didn't know what I could think, I'll have to talk about it later.
Arriving in the city I quickly cover my Kitsune ears with my hood and hide my tails before starting to walk in the streets following the location on the map.
Look around me. The architecture, the buildings and the few vehicles that they saw were not different from the other countries that I have seen before, besides the omnic ones. I stopped walking when I saw an entrance with a curtain in front of me. Upon entering I saw that it was a half empty place but then I noticed someone approaching me.
"Benja, it's good that you're here. We were waiting for you." Cassidy said with a smile as we both shook hands but then I was left confused.
"We are? But, who else was waiting for me?." I asked curiously making the man laugh before going to a table where there was someone hooded.
"Benja. I want to introduce you to someone, she is Ana Amari." Cassidy said as the person in front of me removed her hood revealing a somewhat elderly woman with an eyepatch.
"Nice to meet you, young man. Cassidy, so young and you recruit a teenager?" Ana asked with a smile making the man laugh.
"Don't be fooled by this boy's appearance, Ana. He was able to cover my back in a difficult situation." Cassidy said with a giggle as the man and I sat down across from the woman.
"Considering the dangers you are running, it is a miracle that this young lady is still standing. Tell me, child, what is your name?" Ana asked curiously looking at me.
"My name is Benjamín Escudero. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Amari." I said with a smile making Ana laugh.
"Just call Ana, there's no need to be so formal." The woman said as she served some cups of tea and Cassidy received a bottle of beer from an omnic.
"Well. It was very doubtful that after many years you would only be here for a drink. Tell me, you got the call just like me, right?" Ana asked curiously as Cassidy lit a cigarette.
"I'm lying if I say no. Besides, if it hadn't been like that, I wouldn't have come here and I wouldn't have asked Benja to come, would I?" The man asked looking at me with a smile.
"And you plan to return?" Ana asked before taking a sip of hers while Cassidy smoked.
"I don't know. I'm just helping that guy get the gang together. He may or may not come back." The man said making Ana nod.
"And you, Ana? Do you plan to return?" I asked curiously looking at the woman.
"I don't know exactly. I don't deny that I spend good days helping and saving people, but there are days that I want to forget all those years. Maybe it would be better if youth like you were at the forefront." Ana said looking at me but Cassidy didn't seem happy about it.
"But everyone needs a leader, Ana. Nobody is better than you at that, the team needs you." The man said but that statement made Ana clench her fists.
"Is that what they want, or what do you want? Do you really want me to go back to those years?" Ana asked seriously but I could hear something behind us like weapons being loaded.
"We could have talked over the internet. Why did you decide to write to me?" Ana asked as the woman and Cassidy stood up. But notice that the woman seemed to be holding a large case on her back.
"I know. But I wanted to be with you, even if it was for the last time. Tell me, Benja, do you have mine?" Cassidy asked before looking at me.
"Yes here." I said before putting the backpack on the table. When the man opened the backpack he slowly reached in before pulling out the revolver Ashe gave me.
"Where did you get this from?." Cassidy asked seriously making me a little nervous.
"In your drawers. I looked for your things but then I found that weapon, Ashe gave it to me because. Well, she says it will be useful with me.* I said nervously. But without me noticing, the man and Ana were looking at me with confusion.
"Good. Open the magazine and put the bullets in, this will be enough for both of you but don't waste any bullets. Make every bullet count." Cassidy said making us both start loading our weapons.
Outside the place a few Talon soldiers were waiting with weapons at the ready. However suddenly a blinding gain came out causing everyone to be blinded before falling when Cassidy fired at them. A sniper was ready to fire but a dart hit him causing the man to pass out.
"What was that?." I asked curiously looking at Ana's gun.
"Just a tranquilizer. Don't worry." The woman said with a smile but then we saw some trucks arrive before we saw some Talon soldiers arriving.
"Everybody take cover!!" Quickly we all put ourselves against some walls. Cassidy started shooting while Ana pulled out a sniper rifle, but I saw with surprise that the bullets were actually darts with a dark yellow liquid.
"Hey kid. We could use some help here!!" Cassidy yelled causing me to quickly start shooting. However, my shots were useless since I couldn't hit any of the soldiers and only caused them to attack Ana and me.
"It's your first time?." Ana asked as I struggled to load my gun due to my nerves.
"I never shot guns before." I said nervously but then I saw Cassidy get shot in the shoulder by a Talon soldier.
"Cole, hang in there!!" Ana yelled before shooting a dart at Cassidy, when the man received that shot her wound quickly closed.
"Focus your fire on the medic!!" A soldier yelled causing everyone to shoot where Ana and I are. Look at the gun I have before I put it down.
"We must get out of here!!." Ana screamed but then the woman saw with astonishment that my hands were covered in blue fire.
"No. It's my turn to fight!!." I yelled before taking a big leap causing the Talon sunbathers to look at me.
"Fire Element: Rain of Fire!!." I yelled before shooting a burst of fireballs causing the soldiers to take cover but they were hit by the fireballs causing them to crash to the ground.
"We have to get out of here, they're going to come back!!." I yelled before landing causing Ana and Cassidy to snap out of their astonishment.
"Ana, you know this market better than we do. Where?" Cassidy asked as another unit arrived on the scene.
"Here!!." Ana yelled before taking us to a more open place but I quickly had to generate a shield to avoid some shots.
"Shit. Benja, take care of the enemy units on the roofs, Ana and I will take care of it down here." Cassidy said as I nodded.
"Understood. Be careful." I said before taking a big leap to land on the roof.
"It's time to honor the Renoir name." I said seriously before making a fencing sword made of ice appear in my hand.
"Shoot!!" My eyes sharpened before bent on running at high speed.
"Ice Element: Frigid Thrust." I whispered before disappearing and appearing behind the soldiers.
"Damned bastard. What, I can't move." A soldier said with difficulty as he looked at the Talon soldiers with a serious sideways eye.
"Of course not. This attack allows me to freeze and paralyze any limb of the body just by touching it using my sword. You're in luck, if that attack had gone to the organs, you'd be dead by now." I said before launching a strong slash into the air causing all the soldiers to fall to the ground.
Ana and Cassidy had no difficulty against Talon's soldiers. While the man was throwing grenades and multiple shots, the woman was in charge of healing Cassidy's wounds and knocking out multiple enemies with his revolver and her sniper.
"You're not doing bad at all, Ana. I even think Reinhardt would say that you're still just as young." Cassidy said before throwing a grenade. The Talon soldiers dodged the grenade but the object suddenly flew at them before attaching itself to the soldiers' arm before exploding.
"How nice. But I think it would be better to talk about nice moments when we are not in danger, and where is Benja?" Ana asked before throwing a grenade at some soldiers. When the grenade hit the ground it caused the soldiers to cough before falling unconscious to the ground.
"He'll be fine. He knows how to take care of himself, did you see how he threw those bombs at those men?" Cassidy asked before shooting a soldier who was going to escape. Ana quickly shot down a soldier who tried to attack from behind her before knocking him unconscious.
"Cassidy. Those weren't bombs. It was fire." The woman said making the man look at everything with confusion but also with curiosity.
"Fire?." Suddenly Ana and the man noticed two vehicles approaching before seeing me land in front of them.
"I'll take care of them." I said before making my sword disappear and staring at the vehicles.
"They're armored vehicles, tough enough to withstand explosives or even old-fashioned rocket launchers." Cassidy said seriously looking at me.
"They will have that, but I have something to stop them." I said before going into a fighting stance before closing my eyes to concentrate.
"Kawakami Style: Musou Seikenzuki!!" I yelled before throwing a strong punch causing a fountain gust of wind. When the blow collided with the vehicles it caused them to lose control and crash into each other before coming up on their heads.
"We'd better leave before another unit arrives." I said with concern before looking at Cassidy and Ana. The two adults came back from their trance before looking at me.
"Boy. I know you said you were going to talk to me about everything when the whole team is together. But now I need an explanation of this." Cassidy said looking at me with my arms crossed.
"It's a technique I learned from someone I met. Please Cassidy, I promise I'll tell you everything when we're all in Gibraltar." I said looking at the man with concern.
"Please, Cassidy. Be patient with the young man, I would also like an explanation of everything we saw, but now it would be better to leave before Talon finds us." Ana said looking at the man.
"Okay, let's go. Where should we go?" The man asked curiously looking at the woman.
"Come with me." Ana said before starting to leave but then I noticed Cassidy take one of the darts from one of the Talon soldiers.
"I'm impressed, Ana. In all the time we've been together, you always make sure that every enemy we see leaves them dead. Why do you leave them alive? * Asked the man looking at the woman. Ana stopped and looked for a moment to a soldier that Cassidy killed.
"People change their habits. I think I'm no exception." The woman said with regret in her voice before continuing walking. I looked at Ana with concern before following her along with Cassidy.
"Here it is." Ana said as she entered an empty spice shop before walking behind a few boxes full of seasonings.
"Close the door when you enter." Cassidy and I walked behind the boxes only to see a hatch and some stairs before starting down.
"Where we are?." I asked looking around me. Now we were in a small underground market.
"An underground market. Located in the city's old and abandoned sewer system, people decided to use it to start selling their wares, of course. This section is very secluded from the tourists who come here, only my people can come here." " Ana said while the three of us began to walk around the place.
Throughout the drive, Ana, Cassidy, and I had been quiet while Cole and I looked at the many stores before reaching a secluded spot. When Ana removed the curtains, she saw that it was a small base.
"Where we are?." Cassidy asked looking around her as Ana put her gun down on a table.
"A base of mine. I had another one in the desert but they found it two weeks ago, this is an emergency base. Although, hehe, I have many bases." Ana said with a giggle making Cassidy and me laugh.
"Looks like you've been busy for a long time." Cassidy said looking at one of the screens.
"Benja, dear. Can you leave me and Cassidy alone? We have to talk about something important, please wait outside for a moment." Ana said making me nod before leaving but that confused Cole.
"What's wrong Ana?" The man asked while the woman walked to where the computer is.
"A few days ago. I received information that Talon is looking for Benja." The woman said making Cassidy serious.
"Why would Talon be interested in someone like him?" Asked the man looking at the woman.
"We saw what he's capable of. Think about this, someone like Benja in Talon's hands. They would be unstoppable, something tells me they didn't just come for me. They came for Benja as well." Ana said seriously looking at Cassidy.
"Coming for you? Everyone knows you're dead, why would Talon be interested in dead?" The gym asked with her arms crossed looking at Ana.
"I was informed that there was a Talon attack on an old Overwatch base in Gibraltar. According to reports, a Talon ship was reportedly seen heading to the base seeking data from multiple locations on all of us." Ana said seriously which annoyed Cassidy.
"Shit. I guess recruiting the others will be harder than I thought." The man said angrily but then he saw Ana smile.
"Actually. I have something to show you." Ana said before showing multiple images of heroes in different countries.
"These heroes. They are scattered around the world, maybe they don't know each other and they are in different parts. But they have the same ambitions, the same goals. They seek to make this world a better place, they just need someone to find them. ." Ana said before handing Cassidy a USB.
"I guess you're not quite ready to go back, are you?" Cassidy asked looking at the woman. Ana sighed before looking at her rifle.
"Yes, I must return. I must do a couple of things before returning to the battlefield. Until then, don't take my decision as no, take it as, see you soon." The woman said looking at Cassidy.
"I understand. And I think I already know who to go looking for first but, I doubt very much that she will accept if I am the only person who goes, even with Benja I don't think she will come." Cassidy said looking at Ana.
"Let me think about it. I need to think this through before doing it." Said the woman in pain, secretly looking at a photograph.
"I know how much it hurts, doing this when she got the news, it's not easy. But it's better late than never, isn't it?" Cassidy asked looking at the woman causing her to sigh.
"I think so. I guess I'll see you there, take good care of Benja and teach him how to use that weapon. He's going to have to learn how to use it if he wants to stay out of Talon's eyes." Ana said with a smile looking at Cole.
"I'll try. I'll see you there, Ana. Take care." Cassidy said before leaving as the woman smiled.
"I always do. Take care of yourself too, though with that kid I highly doubt they'd hurt you." Ana said with a smile making Cassidy laugh before leaving the place with the USB.
"And Ana? Will she come with us?" I asked looking at Cassidy as the man looked at the USB before putting it away.
"She's busy, she'll catch up with us soon. Now we'd better go, we have a long train ride ahead of us." The man said before we left.
In a place. A man was looking at the recordings from the cameras of the soldiers that Ana, Cassidy and I fought, the man was not interested in Cole and Amari's cameras, he was watching my fight and my attacks together with other people.
"Impressive. I've never seen anything like this before." Said the man who was watching the cameras but a person noticed the ice fencing sword.
"A fencing sword made of ice? Yes, such swords are very fragile, especially one made of ice. This guy was able to materialize it in midair and fortify its hardness to make it more resistant, interesting." Said a female voice with a smile making the man laugh.
"Exactly, Miss Moira. Not to mention that when our units arrived, some of our snipers showed frostbite in their arms and knees. It is seen that that sword can momentarily paralyze the body of any enemy just by touching a part of the body." The man said with a smile.
"They said that boy told them that if that sword hit an organ they could die. That brat is a threat to us, why don't we take him out before he and Overwatch become stronger?" Reaper asked seriously making the man in front of the computer look at the assassin.
"Deleting it would be a waste, not to mention that trying to do so could lead to a massive expenditure of weapons and people who could serve us at another time. Furthermore, it would also be a waste of a potential trump card. With it in our possession, no one could stop us. " The man said with a smile but then Widowmaker walked over to them.
"And how can we bring him here? I doubt very much that he will accept it by talking, especially after our fight. Now seeing what he is capable of, it is very obvious that he is not easy prey." The woman said seriously looking at the man.
"Every person is like a house made of cards. The slightest blow and he will fall, perhaps attacking him will only cause him to refuse to work with us. But, what if we know his steps and weaknesses? Sometimes the best option to break someone someone is not the physical attack, but the psychologist and his willpower." The man said with a smile but then everyone heard footsteps entering the place.
"Que onda carnal?. Sorry to interrupt, but I think I found something you'd like to see." Shadow said with a smile, approaching the computer.
"I hope it's important." Reaper said seriously looking at the girl while she laughed.
"Trust me boss. This, is very good." said the girl before showing an image of me at the moment where I was in the cafeteria in Ontario.
Suddenly an image of me appreciated, and it was the image taken from the security camera of the cafeteria in Ontario. At that moment a list appeared and then more, everyone stared at the screen with curiosity and confusion until suddenly the lists stopped when a message appeared: "Unknown."
"Passports, cameras, civil records from every country and continent in the world. And none of them, he appears. It's as if he was never born or existed here." Sombra said with a giggle while everyone looked at this in surprise.
"What are you trying to say with all this?" Widowmaker asked seriously making the girl laugh.
"This guy I highly doubt he's from here. I've been analyzing the video hundreds of times, even the new videos. Generate fire? Immunity to poison? Fly and attack with water? Think, they didn't even see technology and in each video they He sees his hair and eyes change color." The girl said with a smile making everyone look at the cameras.
"You say that he appeared in Gibraltar, right, Reyes? Amélie mentioned that he was not affected by his poison when in fact Moira perfected it so that almost no antidote could cure the poisoning. And now this? It seems that We found something unique in this world." The man said with a smile looking at me.
"Which means, if that child isn't from here. Then he doesn't have any weaknesses that we can over-exploit to bring him here." Widowmaker said seriously looking at the man but then the woman got irritated when she heard Sombra laugh.
"Don't be so sure, friend. He has a weakness, we just have to find it. Leave it to me, I know exactly how to do it." The girl said before leaving the room.
"Our future is safe. Once we have that child with us, no one can stop us. Ever." Said the man with a smile looking at me.
