One month later, back to the Atlantis, inside the new bedroom, Annika started a new life with her biological family, she was now mermaid with a predominantly gray tiara decorated with seashells, dark pink, and hot pink gem coral. Around her bedroom was blue and green just like the and and the seaweed with several pink and orange decoy starfishes around the bedroom wall. There was a wooden shelf filled with books of knowledge and every storybook she can read every time she was bored, a mid-large, gold-glittery rare clamshell-shaped princess-sized bed with a red bedsheet covered a soft mattress that fit the bed, a white. silk blanket that was vegan and three pillows covered in a red pillow covers with each of these types such as both king and queen sized and a roll pillow. The bed was each a small pink coral in the pots is placed both side of the bed, a red cabinet was near behind the book self. On other side was a table and a chair to seat while she was studying. On the open window where Annika swam toward it and sat to look around the sea as she sighs.
"Your highness." a servant called Annika where she turned her head around to the door and swim off to get out of her room. She sauntered downstairs and went through the corridor until she reached to her pirate grandfather and her mermaid great uncle.
"Uncle, grandpa!" excited Annika, she hurriedly lean toward to her family and hugged them happily.
"Don't call me grandpa, call me daddy or father." said Captain Peter, this shocked Annika to let her family go and she knew that her grandfather decide to replace his family role as an adoptive father he become after the loss of his own to his evil son-in-law that he blamed on.
"What!" confused Annika.
"Please Annika, you have to accept me as your own father, he took my daughter, your mother." explained Captain Peter.
"Dad, I'm sorry about your daughter, my mom." replied Annika, her tears started to rained around her face in grief but her grandfather wipe them off of her face.
"I know, I lose her but I still have you back all these years." smiled Captain Peter.
"That's okay, it's fine things changes anyways." cherish Annika, giggling bubbly just as a servant approaching to the pirate and merman king.
"Sire, the guests are coming!" reported the servant, saluting at his king.
"Oh my, I think we have a guest for you." thought Captain Peter.
"Really?" thought Annika, raised one eyebrow up in confusion.
Annika turned around to look straight forward the hallway where a large black sea creature with the tip of the horns and the undersides of the tentacles, which are pale green and pale yellow respectively. She also has red eyes and green pupils. She came here while walking through the hallway until she reached to the royal family and smiled at Annika.
"Who are you?" asked Annika.
"Kraken, I' am the oldest and wisest of aquatic beings and I like to supervised you also." said the Kraken.
"Wait, why not!?" curious Annika, thinking she she never wanted to be supervised by someone else she met because she has her own.
"Of course, you needs my constant supervision so I can watch over you and keep you out of trouble, or danger." explained Kraken.
"No need, I'm twenty-four years old now and I'm not a child anymore please!" refused Annika.
"Oh why you!" angered Kraken, "Haven't you heard about other mermaid in the university's river."
"Who?" questioned Annika, shrugging in confusion.
"HER NAME IS MURIEL COVE, SHE WAS CAUGHT AND ARRESTED BECAUSE OF THE HUNTERS!" THE Kraken angrily shouted at Annika.
"Wow, what happened?" shocked Annika.
"Well, after the demon queen's faithful stolen my sextant but a hope defeated them all as well." explained the Kraken, she took out her tentacle, raising up and flies down to Annika, grabbing her by her waist and dragging her off of her family.
"Whoa!" Annika was dragged to the Kraken as she face to her just as Evergreen appears to rescue her, "Evergreen!" she exclaimed when she saw her hellhound again.
"Who is that nasty devil dog!" thought the Kraken.
"No, that my dog, he used to protect me from my other family, the demons." begged Annika, this shocked the Kraken to discovered that Annika was a demon.
"WHAT, YOU ARE A DEMON!" the Kraken was so furiously that she knew about Annika being a demon for the first time.
"No need, she's one of the family now, sometime, we need to find a true love that could break her heritage and her parentage behind her corruption past." Captain Peter manages to calm the Kraken down by explaining the reason why he need to rid of Annika's demon heritage.
"What the?" confused the Kraken, she realizing that Annika was nothing but always a cambion herself ever since she was still both mermaid and nymph again, she look at a sorrowful Annika tapping her fingers in worry that someone already known about her.
"So, he's right, you are not a demon anymore are you, my little mermaid?" inquired the Kraken.
"Yes, it true, I' am the cambion mermaid nymph and I ran away from home. My home is not a Netherworld not anymore." replied Annika, depressingly.
"That's okay, it's fine that you have change into a beauty inside." said the Kraken.
Afterward, Annika then looks to her family around as a result of her reassurance, she gleefully smiles with a blushing cheeks on her face.
"By the way, we are living in the Mount Diwata where I run a duty to protect the diwatas from the demons, right." smirked Captain Peter.
"Apparently..." nervous Annika.
Sometimes later, on that day forward, in late July, outside of the Atlantis, where all of the crowd of the other sea creatures and multiple merpeople of Atlantis were here in the middle of the palace, they were converging into the concert hall and they were seating in front of the stage. Then, a few tons of fanfares lifted up from nowhere and they all played where they ensues, it was came from the servants who were the ones playing the fanfares and one of them was a royal announcer who approach from the back stage with a scroll as he unfurling it up to read it.
"Ahem . . ." before the announced, the royal announcer clear his throats immediately and he said, "Ladies and gentlemen, his royal highness, King Triton! His beloved brother, the captain of the sea defender and the pirate hero, Captain Peter Hook!"
Just then, up in the ceiling, there was a large, shimmering chariot with a shell-shaped seat where King Leo and Captain Peter were in here, they appears entering and waving their hands at the crowds dramatically to wild cheering. He eventually reached to the balcony with a seat and then sat on it with Peter, the brothers took out the opera glasses and look through them as the concert begins when the court composer approached to the podium, he took out a baton in his hand, tapping on the edge with it and he swing it directly as the orchestra plays.
"This is gonna be great, this will be the finest concert we ever wanted, and especially our beloved, beautiful little Annika. She has the most beautiful voice." remarked King Leo.
A few hours later, with the orchestra was over which the presentation was begin where Melody come out of the backstage for the moment. She was accompanied by seven mermaids of gossiping society in front of the crowds.
"Greeting! Our Great father who loves us well. And then there is the youngest in her musical debut. Her voice is like a bell it was so we're presenting her to you!" announced Melody, then a carriage approached to the stage and stopped in the middle as the captain and the mermaids swam to surrounded it.
"She's our princess, Annika!" she shouted as she open the carriage door to show her Annika to everyone but when she open the door, the girls let out a shocking gasps to find that Annika was absent.
Mostly, many of the audiences in the concert hall were very shocked where Annika is, Melody was worried about her niece as well while everyone were clamoring and complaining about Annika's disappearance and absence. In the balcony, King Leo and Captain Peter were very shocked that Annika has run away for the first time, Peter get up from the seat with his face turned red as he was very furious.
"ANNIKA!" Captain Peter angrily called out his adoptive daughter's name, he screamed so loudly and more furiously.
His furiously screams was heard outside of the palace with a pirate ship above the ocean, he and King Leo never knew where Annika is. Unbeknownst to them, up in the surface once again, there was a raft that was gifted by her animals, Annika was riding on it with all of her stuffs she got ever since that day. Then, her fair skins turned back to pale green again as a demon and her black human eyes turned red again when they glows from hell. She was wearing her old sail dress again this time with Evergreen, she was able to travel around the world to see the knowledge of human cultures.
"Well, Evergreen, I guess I don't want to be a princess anymore, I just wanna explore the world together now." said Annika, she then continued her fascination with the human world to learned to be human and find a true love for herself. She sailed her raft to go on her journey to the human world to stay as her new home with Evergreen, he leaned toward her and huddle her passionately which makes Annika blushed so softly while continued her travel to the world.
