For what seemed like over a day, the siege from Niigata had begun and continued to spread like the plague all over Japan. An entire legion of punkified, metal-loving, brainwashed subordinates to the two evil rock stars just about filled up every part of the city and was still searching, hunting down anyone who hadn't been infected yet. Especially those with great power who could be of use to them. To make matters worse, the mysterious Mizuki Rashoujin had made an appearance before Kanato and Hibiki, forming a deadly alliance as they started to strategize their invasion and conquest of the rest of the world.

Meanwhile, those who escaped ahead of the plume, before the start of this entire rock and roll nightmare, Iori Yagami, his band, the rest of the Hakkeshu, and Geese Howard with his personal guard, Billy Kane were scattered to the ends of the city as they were to live to fight another day.

Yagami was dealing with his own share of the hoard, busting through every punk that tried to mob him. While he managed to get his band off the Island, he stuck around for a specific reason, Kyo Kusanagi; his vendetta against The Flame is what drove him to see this crisis through, leading him to fight against these punks. Their sloppy and pathetic thuggish punches and attacks were no match for Iori's Yasakani style, as he picked them off with broken bones as he defended himself in a semi-feral barrage of attacks.

He didn't care whether or not they were originally innocent people. They were nothing but in the way to him, and he'll plow through them all just to get to where needs to be.

Iori:"Kusanagi. You better hope that I don't find you dead. Else, I'll drag you back out of hell and kill you myself."

While he was doing his job in protecting his boss, Geese Howard, Billy Kane was NOT feeling happy at the moment. Having discovered that his sister, Lilly, was there at the stadium when this whole thing blew up like a horror movie, she soon discovered that she was one of the first to have been corrupted by evil rock stars and made into their loyal hardcore punk, wrestler girl. She wasn't even supposed to be there, he had forbidden it in the hopes to keep her out of any danger surrounding his job...and his grudge. He could only think of one person to blame for this personal outrage, the one who his sister swooned after, Joe Higashi.

Billy:"That fool of a fighter with the stupid hair is going to pay for bringing Lilly into this. I'll break his neck the moment I see him."

Ripper:"Kane! Stop talking to yourself and get your head in the game! We need to keep fighting here!"

Sighing, Billy continued to swing his staff toward any incoming punks. What should be considered just a fraction of the entire legion of the punkified loyalists of the Rockers was after Geese for their purpose. Rounding up the biggest criminal in all of the South Town would do well in making sure that continuing their conquest from the shadows would be sufficient. The three bodyguards were at their necks deep in the horde, protecting their boss, who was even forced to hold his own against the punks who were coming at him like wildcats leaping in the air.

Geese:"Hold fast! They are bound to run out of goons! Eventually!"

?:"Oh, we don't run out of nothing..."

Hearing that voice made the four men turn to see Kanato coming over towards them, guitar in hand, coursing with energy, and another mob of his corrupted punk right behind him.

Kanato:"We just keep spreading like wildfire. Until all of the whole planet is scorched by our awesomeness!"

Billy:"The only one getting scorched is you."

Kanato:"We'll see about that. Ready to get burned?!"

Running his hand through the strings of his guitar, Kanato sent out a beam of corrupted energy toward the boss of their guards. But Hopper was close enough to push Geese out of the way and take the shot for him, getting engulfed in the corruption.

Hopper:"AAAAGGGGGHHHH!"

Ripper:"HOPPER!"

Ripper wasn't so lucky either, as Kanato quickly fired the new shot at him, and both men of Geese's right hand were corrupted within moments. By the time it was over, they were both dressed up like stereotypical bikers, black boots, black pants, white shirts, and leather studded jackets, they kept the shades they wore, but their eyes glowed red with corrupted energy as they looked to their former boss with savage intent.

Geese:"Ripper! Hopper! Snap out of this! I order you two to desist!"

Hopper:"Sorry, 'boss-man', but we don't listen to you anymore!"

Ripper:"Now, we work for Kanato and his girl. And he's got ways of dealing with you."

The Charismatic Evil Business Man didn't want to believe that two of his top guards were so easily swayed by this horrid corrupting power, and it angered him how the two practically betrayed him this way.

Kanato:"Don't feel too bad about this, Geesey boy. You get to rejoin your guards real soon. I can promise you that. (points to Hopper and Ripper) You two, take him and hold him down for me."

And with that Geese was forced to fight against his own bodyguard who fought more violently than ever before; against his Aikijutsu, they were slowly pushing him into a corner as he couldn't keep countering all their vicious moves forever.

Billy:"Hang on, boss! I'm coming!"

Kanato:"No, you are NOT!"

Taking his instrument, the evil corrupted rocker swung it at Billy like an actual axe, Howard's top bodyguard was surprised to see its edges actually sharp enough to break through the road's pavement as he was forced to avoid the swings that Kanato was sending his way. He was about able to fight back, meeting Kanato in polearm-like combat, but not as matched as he thought they would be, as that guitar definitely felt stronger than his fighting stick. But as he fought, Kanato sensed something in him, something about Billy that made him cringe.

Kanato:"...You're one of them, aren't you?"

Billy:"Huh?"

Kanato:"Another I cannot tame...yet."

Taking his guitar under Billy's staff, he hoisted it up and sent Kane off his feet. Billy landed hard on his back, fighting back a growl of pain, and moved to react quickly as he saw Kanato coming back down on him, holding up his axe overhead and sending it down hard. Billy tried to counter using his staff, but unfortunately for him, this caused for Kanato's guitar to break his weapon in half. This left Billy in shock, looking at the remains of his weapon, but then his attention was turned to Geese howling painfully as Hopper and Ripper got him by the arms and held him down.

Geese:"GAAAAAHHHGGG!"

Kanato walked over to them, revving up his instrument and building up the energy.

Kanato:"Hold him..."

Geese:"Grrr...NNNOOO-"

But it was too late, as Kanato blasted the crime lord and engulfed him in the corrupting energy. Billy watched in horror as the man he worked for became a horrid shell of his formal self. He looked to see that Geese no longer had his hair well kept, it was ragged with split ends, and he now wore attire similar to Rugal Bernstein, with slick pants and shoes, a fishnet-styled top, and his arms now sporting some ink, traditional Japanese tattoos that formed oni. Now standing before his new master, Geese growled like an animal that did not like to be chained.

Geese:"Grr...this feels...pretty good."

Kanato:"Still gotta deal with bandanna head over there."

Since the staff was his measure in fighting, Billy felt vulnerable without it. So, he did the only thing he honestly regretted doing and ran...

Back with the rest of the survivors at Old Port Town, Terry had explained to the rest of his allies how Mai was seemingly unaffected by Kanato's blast, showing that she had some kind of immunity to the corruption. While they were left confused as to how this was possible, it did give them hope, a chance to defend themselves against the evil rock stars and fight back.

Terry:"If Mai is able to have a kind of immunity, then chances are that others do as well. Too bad none of us can know who or how."

Chizuru:"Maybe not yet. But I'm working on a theory that could help give us the answers we need."

Kyo:"And until then, the rest of us gonna have to defend ourselves as best we can. Regroup with any other survivors we can find and see if we can even the odds."

Yuri:"I, for one, am glad that we caught a break from all that freakshow stuff in the city."

But, just as she said that, footsteps could be heard coming their way, forcing the fighters to all quickly take a stance.

Blue Mary:"(glaring at Yuri) You just had to say something, didn't you?"

Coming their way, and from the sounds of it, they were running, just so happened to be Shin Kensou and Athena, but both were now in new punk attire, Athena now wearing a black tank top over a purple, torn long-sleeve shirt, black jeans, and her hair had been cut to her neck with a skull-ornamented headband on it, and a tattoo of a spider's web placed at her left eye. The sight of the two left the rest of the fighters shocked by how they looked as they all took defensive stances.

Joe:"They found us!"

Shingo:"It's Kensou and Athena! They've been transformed!"

Andy:"Then I guess we're gonna have to take them down!"

Kensou:"No, no, wait! Guys, guys, wait!"

Athena:"Please! We're not here to fight! We're still ourselves!"

Kula:"Oh?! And...how is that possible?"

Kensou:"Me and Athena both have psychic abilities. Despite how the corruption had taken hold of our bodies, our minds, and spirits remain intact."

Yuri:"How can we be sure? This could easily be a trick!"

Athena:"If it was a trick, do you think I would've allowed THIS to happen to my hair!"

Kensou:"That goes double for me! (points to the shaved side of his head) THIS DOES NOT LOOK RIGHT!"

Shun'ei:"Seems the same to me."

Kyo:"If the two of you are still the same, mentally, then what happened to you?"

Athena:"Well, to make a long story short-"

Flashback to some time after Kensou was hit with Kanato's beam and was transformed to look like a punk. He had been running and dodging as much of the legion as he could, hiding within the alleyways of the city. He was hoping that could've gotten away from those two Rock Star Freaks and regroup with any other survivors...maybe even get a wardrobe change. But it turns out that it was like the Corrupted Rockers were practically everywhere. This was practically confirmed when he heard some conflict nearby and looked around the corner to see Athena, alongside Kaoru, who was being protected by Darli Dagger, who fought desperately against the horde of punks, swinging her giant saw blade at any foe who practically came and leaped towards them while Athena was putting her own psychic abilities to the limit at getting the horde to back off; all the while the Lovers of Dark Chaos, Kanato, and Hibiki slowly made their way towards them. Seeing that some of his allies were still all right and were fighting back. He could only hope that this would give him a chance to fight alongside them as well, as when he saw that a punk was coming to attack Athena from behind, he quickly did a Hakkai attack, blasting them away from her.

This surprised Athena, to see that she was saved by another punk, but she also recognized that attack, by the only other person who knows it.

Athena:"Kensou?! Is that?!"

Kaoru:"He's been turned into one of them!"

Kensou:"No, wait! It's me!"

But before anything could be explained, his sudden intrusion is what unfortunately left them open for what came next. In no specific order, Darli, Kauro and Athena were blasted by the psychotic guitarist...

Athena:"And though transformed, I and Kensou retained our minds and managed to get away. We did our best to make sure that we were not followed."

After hearing that explanation, the rest of the survivors were starting to get it. But this made Nakoruru come up to the two psychics with a question in mind.

Nakoruru:"...And Darli? Haohmaru?

Athena:"(shakes her head sadly) ...I'm sorry, Nakoruru. Darli was with me when she got turned, and I have been unable to find Haohmaru."

Mother Nature's Guardian fell down after that, walking back to look towards the city as her eagle, Mamahaha, came and landed on her shoulder, cawing in a way she could understand, as she felt something out in the city, within all the darkness and corruption, there was an evil that she was all too familiar with. It scared her to know it.

Nakoruru:"Something amplifies the evil that we are facing...She has returned."

The others were left confused by who she was referring to, but soon enough, they would all come to know. And Nakoruru knew that if they stood any chance against Mizuki, they needed to find Haohmaru.

Meanwhile, as any remaining fighters were scattered to the wind, at the corners of Japan, many had already been corrupted and were now enjoying their servitude towards their new masters, the Lovers of Dark Chaos and The Marauding Deity herself. Vanessa, Ramón, King of Dinosaurs, B. Jenet, Ángel, Krohnen, Alice, Li Xiangfei, Hinako, Malin, Mian, May Lee, Jhun, Chang, and Choi; all of which had fallen victim to the darkness the two Rock Stars and the Infernal Witch had brought upon the Island. With Mizuki Rashojin's magic, Kanato and Hibiki's corruptive power was indeed amplified to the point where the corruption could be spread by just about any one of their subordinates.

Zarina and Bandeiras the ones to fall victim to this when the corrupt, now punk-rock-loving girls were sent after them. But Najd and Nelson were the ones who were not so easily broken, escaping ahead of the new, infectious comeuppance of their allies...too bad they couldn't get far after that. Cornered by their own former allies, Zarina now wearing leather outlaw chaps with jean shorts, a leather vest over a black version of her usual top, paler skin, pierced ears, and black eyeshadow around her new red eyes, Bandeiras now had heavily armored and spiked, demonic-looking plating over his arms while white paint covered his torso and face, painting in the form a skull around his head, as well as some armor around his lower body to match his plating. Both the Dancer and the Ninja Warrior had the Vigilante Vixen and Brazilian Boxer in their sights as they were prepared to have them corrupted.

Bandeiras:"No where to run now. It's time you join us."

Zarina:"Trust us! You'll grow to love it soon enough."

Nelson:"Forget that! We don't want to fight either of you!"

Najd:"You have to break free of this!"

Bandeiras:"Why should I? I have everything I want now!"

Zarina:"And soon, so will the rest of the world!"

With their newfound corruptive powers, the two sent blasts of dark energy at Najd and Nelson, who were unable to get away, Fortunately for them, someone just so happened to drop down from above and take the shot for them. That someone just so happens to be Rock Howard, who took the shot in whole, but much to the shock of the corrupted fighters, and even him, Rock was unchanged as Miruka came into view, looking un-surprised by how this occurred.

Rock:"Is this what you were talking about?"

Miruka:As I said, you and many others share this attribute."

Najd and Nelson looked at each other in confusion as Rock put his own Martial Arts skills to work, facing off against Zarina and Bandeiras, who were shocked to see that their own powers were practically useless against his abilities. It didn't take long for him to overpower them using Double Reppuuken to finish the job. Zarina and Bandeiras fell to the floor while Rock caught his breath before checking out Nelson and Najd.

Rock:"You guys okay?"

Najd:"...We're fine, but...how did you...not get corrupted?"

Rock:"You know, I'm still figuring that out myself. (points to Miruka) This little lady here has a lot to explain."

The mysterious woman who has been accompanying Rock so far looks over to the down, corrupted fighters before raising her hands and having them course with a violet aura. She then sends the aura towards them both, engulfing them while the three fighters weren't entirely sure what she was doing.

Miruka:"I can only...restore their minds. Temporarily, at least. Their forms and powers however still course with the dark energy."

Nelson:"We can restore them?"

Miruka:"It can be done. Those without strong wills can be easily turned evil. But, a virtuous spirit may still gather strength to break free."

Rock:"If what you say is true, then maybe we should take them with us. Until we can find any others, we need to keep moving."

And with that, Nelson and Rock picked up Bandeiras and Zarina and hoisted them over their shoulders as they continued down the road, now seemingly quiet and deprived of anyone.

Nelson:"Do you know where we're going?"

Rock:"Not any more than you guys. Little Miss Fortune Teller here is pretty cryptic."

Miruka:"Trust me. We will see more allies soon enough..."

Leona had made it to the rendezvous point, with Heidern managing to pick her up. But she was in a defeated-like state when they got her, knowing that she was forced to watch as her allies, her teammates, and friends were corrupted, one by one.

Leona:"...Ralf, Clark, Whip...I just left them."

Heidern:"They are irreplaceable. And for that reason, we will get them back?"

Leona:"How? This entire city's gone to hell, and I can no longer step in it without the urge to lose control."

Heidern:"We cannot be alone in this fight, Leona. Survivors must still be inside, and if they are, we will bring them out. Anyone who can and will be able to fight must help us. But until then, we need to fall back and regroup..."

He ordered his pilot to put some distance between them and the city, as thunder could be heard overhead, with dark red clouds forming over the city. Red and purple lightning manifested amidst a dense cloud that appeared in the city moments before dawn. The two soldiers would never admit it, but this left them concerned. As if hell itself was about to be raised from this very spot...
