Disclaimers: I do not own Fairy Tail.

A/N: So this story has briefly capture my attention again and I decided to expand on it a bit while working on "Fire and Brimstone". Part of me wants to let it become its own story but I feel that would take away from "Elemental Spirit Mage" . Let me know your thoughts on this. I'll be creating a poll as well.

Elemental Homecoming pt.7

The boy and the wolf slowly made their way down to Magnolia with Rhew looking ever the emotionless spirit that he was while Ur seems upbeat and enthusiastic, the complete opposite of what he was a few minutes ago.

"My name is Ur. Ur Fullbuster by the way!", the young boy told the Ice Wolf.

"I do not recall asking you for your name, boy", Rhew comments, though he did raise an eyebrow for a moment, "But you say your surname is Fullbuster, is it? That is an old name from the north that I have not heard in ages."

"It is? Well, my dad says that it is from Isvan", Ur states.

"What you know as Isvan, I once knew as the Winter Kingdom of Violka four hundred years ago where I defeated an army of White Dragons alongside one of my earlier summoners.", Rhew says.

"Wow, how old are you, Lord Rhew?", Ur asks, his eyes widen in amazement.

"Older than the very ground you are standing on", the white wolf says, deciding to ignore the fact that Ur didn't add the "Herald of the Endless Winter" part to his name.

"Wooooooooowwwww!", Ur shouts, "That means you are older than Grandpa Makarov and Granny Porylusica!"

"I am older than any human you know or ever will know.", Rhew as he turns around to look down at Ur, "Now if you are capable of such a feat, I ask that you remain silent for the rest of our journey."

The boy instantly places his hand over his mouth, nodding his head to show that he understood Rhew's request.

"Good", Rhew says, "Now show me to your home."

Ur walk in front of Rhew and led him to the outskirts of Magnolia all the while the ice spirit was lost in his own thoughts.

"This is a familiar scenario", the wolf told himself, "A child using me for protection while I want nothing to do with them. How long ago was it when the Pup was in this exact same position?", as he remembers back to the early years of his travel with Romeo. While yes his summoner was older than the boy in front of him, he was still a frighten little child who just got thrown into a whole new way of life that took him to places that many mortals didn't even have the mental capacity to imagine.

As the two of them came upon the edge of Magnolia proper, they hid behind the one of the houses and silently watch as the City Guard made their rounds on the street. During this time, the spirit took the opportunity to observe his surroundings. Compare to the cities built onto the clouds, thriving underneath the depths of the ocean, and situated in the middle of active volcanos he has visited, Magnolia was, for a lack of a better word…

Boring.

Dull.

Monotonous.

For the existence of him, Rhew couldn't see why his summoner was so eager to return to such a place. Perhaps it had something to do with what mortals, especially humans, call sentimental value or whatnot.

But alas, he would have to focus on that later.

"You know I can find my way home from here", Ur whispers to Rhew only for the wolf to shake his head in response.

"I was commanded to see you to your home and therefore I will", he states as he walks out toward the street, "Now enough of your delaying; let us be done with this task so I can return to my summoner", he says as he sniffs the air and then looks at the house that was on the other side of the canal to the left of them, "Come now."

Ur watch in astounding surprise as Rhew left the safety of the shadows and step out into the moonlight, in full view of four guards patrolling nearby.

"What are you doing? They'll see you!", he whispers.

"That is more of their problem than mine", Rhew replies as he kept walking forward and sure enough all of the guards turn to their left and see him coming.

"Hey, what the hell is that?!", one of them shouts but before they could readied their spears, Rhew nonchalantly took a breath and struck.

"Blizzard Breath", he casts and a torments of snow and ice comes shooting out of his mouth at the guards. Instantly, they were frozen in place, encases within their own winter storm.

"Come now, boy", Rhew calls over his shoulder as he walks down the middle the frozen guards formation, not even giving them a passing glance as he did so.

Ur slowly moves out of the shadows and walks up to the nearest ice sculpture, marveling at it. He has seen his dad, uncle, and sister freeze things before but those were always trees, rocks, and the likes but those were inanimate objects, not living things. But also unlike that Ur notices something else about Rhew's ice magic….

He didn't leave over-ice.

Every time the boy witness his the other Ice mages in his life, including his father, freeze something, there was always bit and pieces of ice sticking out from the main body; yet as he walks past the town guards he was amaze to see that the ice was perfectly shaped around their body, almost as if it was just another layer of skin or clothing

"Are they…?", Ur spoke, as he reaches out to touch the nearest guard, before stopping himself, as though he was afraid to know the answer to his question.

"They are alive if that is the information you seek. The ice from my spell should melt within an hour or two and at worst, they will be a little sluggish and fatigue", Rhew answers while still walking forward, "Though I advise you not to touch them. Who knows what would happen if one of them was to fall down at the ground in such a state."

Ur instantly retracts his hand back and moves to catch up with the Ice Spirit who was now nearing his house.

"I notice that there wasn't any over-ice on those guards", Ur says as he gets next to Rhew.

"Is that what you humans call it nowadays?", Rhew asks as he turns his head to stare at the boy, "Also, why are you surprise by this? I am the pure embodiment of ice and snow so it only make sense that my ability to freeze living and non-living things is without flaw."

"Woooooooow", Ur says again, "You're amazing!"

"Of course I am", Rhew replies, "Now come, we are almost there."

Within moments of leaving the guards, the duo arrive a few houses down from their destination, The Fullbuster's Residence.

"Go now, boy" Rhew says as he looks down at Ur, "And remember to be careful in the future if you find yourself in the woods alone at night for I will not be around to rescue you next time."

If the ominous meaning behind Rhew's words didn't unnerve the boy, his icy gaze did. With only a frantic wave to the wolf as he ran, Ur sprinted down the street and disappear inside the confines of his house.

"Hmph, at last this unpleasant business is concluded", Rhew tells himself as he turns to leave, but not before picking up something with his hearing.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! MOTHER HAS BEEN VERY WORRIED ABOUT YOU! SHE WAS ABOUT TO CALL THE MAYOR AND GUILD MASTER LAXUS TO FORM A SEARCH PARTY!"

"I AM SO SORRY, MOTHER! IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN!"

"MOTHER KNOWS IT WON'T BECAUSE YOU'RE GROUNDED! JUST WAIT UNTIL YOUR FATHER GETS HOME FROM HIS JOB WITH UNCLE NATSU!"

Rhew merely shook his head and decided to leave Ur and his mother to their own devices. He got quite a distance away from the residence and was about to take off into the forest when his nose capture a familiar scent.

It was faint, extremely faint, but it was there and it belong to his summoner. Looking across the canal and down one of the side streets, he pinpoints the smell originating from that location.

A house no different than the ones that were litter around this settlement was the source of the smell.

"How did I not discover this sooner? I must have been more preoccupied with the boy than I thought" the spirit tells himself as he made his way across the bridge.

Before suddenly coming to a halt. For a moment, he only looks dead ahead, staring down the road in front of him before turning his head a little to look over his right shoulder.

"Is there something you require of me, human? Or are you just that eager to meet your creator?"

Clad in bristling white full steel-plated armor with a silver sword in their right hand and a full-length golden spear, with wings coming out of it near it point, in their left stood a short-haired woman whose red hair reminded Rhew of all the blood he has spill over his existence. Her visible left brown eye bore a hole into him that match the rest of her fierce demeanor as she regarded him with a look that one would akin to a wyvern eyeing its prey.

"Who are you?", she said in an voice with a slight edge to it, "What are you doing in Magnolia?"

"My business here is my own and none of your concern", Rhew answers, still haven't moved from his position, "I suggest you leave me to it and be on your way. This is your first warning."

Rhew then began walking forward once more only to find himself coming to a stop again as his latest annoyance appear few yards in front of him.

"You are faster than a vast majority of your kind, human. But you are in my way and will be remove if you do not step aside. This is your second warning", Rhew threatens.

The woman merely raises her sword at Rhew while she points her spear to her right, "Am I to assume you had something to do with that?"

Rhew spares a glance to where she was pointing, spotting the frozen guards from earlier.

"They seek to stop me from accomplishing my earlier task. They should be fine soon enough if that is your worry. As long as no one else tries to impede me from my current task, I shall leave this dribble of a settlement without incident."

"You will forgive me if I do not believe that even for a second", the woman states as she brings her spear back to her side and slams it on the ground, "Furthermore, whatever your reason for being in Magnolia at this time of the hour, do not think for a moment that I will allow you to bring anymore harm to its citizens. I swear by my honor that you will do no such thing!"

Rhew regards the woman for a moment, shifting through countless memories that laid dormant in his mind until he landed on a particular involving his current summoner and a campfire in the middle of the Xnatau Desert within the lands of the Yanuyu Empire.

"You must be Erza Scarlet or do you prefer the name Titania, Queen of the Fairies?"

"So you do know of me", Erza states.

"From what I have been told, I have come to the conclusion that your skill with the sword and Requip Magic is only surpass by your arrogance and your hypocriticism."

.

"Is that so? Then perhaps you would like to see my skills first-hand and judge for yourself which is better", Erza says and Rhew feels a sudden rise in her magic.

"She must not be used to getting insulted", Rhew thought before speaking, " Do you truly wish to fight me here in the midst of this city? If you do so, I cannot guarantee that the collateral damage will not affect anyone else."

This statement halts Erza as she remembers back to what happen just a month ago at the meeting Fairy Tail had with the Magnolia's mayor, his rage-fuel rant still echoing in her ears about all the property damage and injuries they cause whether it is by drunken brawls or just the occasional fight between the residential hot-heads.

"Doesn't help that even Laxus sometimes get caught up in them himself", Erza thought to herself, "But surely this will not count against us since I am protecting Magnolia."

"Move or be moved, human. I do not have all night for you to decide. This is your third and final warning!", Rhew states, snapping the Requip Mage out of her thoughts.

"The Wizard Saint, Sir Erza Scarlet Fernandes, will not be move by neither man nor beast! Prepare yourself!", Erza declares as she brings her sword back, the flat of it just centimeters from her face.

"Very well then", Rhew muses as he feels the mage's magic begin to spike once more, "But do not believe for a second that having a useless fancy title will increase your chances against me."

Mimicking Ezra's actions, Rhew began to increase his own level of magic. A light blue circle appear underneath him, one that had a number of ancient runes and symbols in it, and began giving off a massive amount of magical energy. The air around him began to instantly drop and the water in the nearby canals began to freeze over. Nearby windows began to frost over and the road itself began to be cover up to have a layer of ice appear over it.

Erza could feel the effects of this as well as she slowly exhales and witnesses her breath instantly turn to ice droplets that fell to the ground.

"What is this feeling?", she asks herself, "It is one I have not felt in a long time...not since my time in Guiltina all those years ago. It is as though... I might actually have a challenge on my hands after so long."

The swordsman takes note that Rhew's frigid blue magical aura was easily keeping pace with her own fiery red one and didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.

"He is matching my magical output level for level and seems to be just getting started. I can count on both hands how many mages in Ishgar can do that and I would still have fingers left over. I am going to have to finish this quickly before it gets out of control."

"I am ready when you are to cease this barbaric display of power and proceed forward, human.", Rhew says, baring his teeth just a little in the process, "I hope that you will not be too disappointing."

With a final burst of magic, Ezra takes that sword away from her face and points it at her opponent while keeping her spear at the ready.

"I will show the might of the Queen of the Fairies!", she declares before suddenly feel the temperature directly behind her sharply rise.

"Queen of the Fairies? Ha! You're just a mortal pretender, nothing more!", she then hears from behind her and on instinct she swings her spear at the originator of the voice.

Back at the second guild hall, a little while before all this went down.

"You know, Kit, in all the time I've known you, there was this one thing you never told me about your life", Kasai asks from his position sitting down in the middle of the floor, his tail cooking the spit-roast wolf as Romeo slowly turns it.

"Yeah, and what's that?", he asks.

"Did you ever have a mate or potential mate back then? I know you were young but I'm well aware that even humans get into that kind of thing at that age."

Romeo stops what he is doing and merely stares at the flames in silence.

"You should know Kasai that I didn't have anyone like that until….", he started before trailing off.

"Until you met her. I get that, Kit, and for the umpteenth time you need to get over her. But you can't honestly tell me that before that there was anyone that caught your eye way back then."

"My, aren't you intrusive?", Romeo points out.

"Well, we did tell you everything about the past Summoners. We have to have something to tell all the future ones after you. It's only fair, don't you think?", Kasai says.

"The ones that will come after me, how could I forget about that?", Romeo muses bitterly, "But honestly, no one was like that for me. Not the baker's daughter, not Lindsay, not anyone."

"What about those slayers girls you pointed out in a newspaper article when we were in the Alvarez Empire?", Kasai reply, "You know, the blue-hair and pink-haired one? What were their names again?"

Romeo's eyes narrow in a fierce glare at the mention of those two but before he could say anything, they widen again and the summoner find himself looking in the direction of Magnolia.

"Rhew is powering up his magic for some reason", he says aloud.

"He is? That can't be right", Kasai states as he stands up, "Usually he can handle something like taking a child home without having to do that."

"Something isn't right. Rhew can easily take on the average mage in this part of the world at his base level. If he is fighting someone they must be extremely powerful. Rhew is smart enough not to pick a fight with anyone and with the guidelines I have bestow upon him and the others, he should be giving anyone he can't simply swat aside or immobilize three chances to stand down. Just who his he-", Romeo thinks to himself, before noticing Kasai sniffing the air.

"The wind has shifted and I believe I smell, sword polish, armor polish, and ….is that cake?", the spirit details out before looking toward his summoner, "Anyone...you...know?"

Romeo was visibility shaking from head to toe, a cold sweat breaking out on his pale face.

"Ah, shit, this isn't good", he hears him mutter, "Why now of all times?"

"Kit?", Kasai says.

"Kasai, you're faster than me so I need you to listen carefully. You need to get to Magnolia as fast as possible and get Rhew out of there without making this a bigger mess than it already is. If you have to fight, do so only in a way that gives you room to escape.", Romeo instructs.

"You could just desummon Rhew, you know?", Kasai says.

"No, if this is who I think it is, and I have a very strong feeling it is, she will know a spirit desummoning when she sees it and will no doubt search the entire night until she finds the summoner. She knows the average summoner can't be too far from their spirit in order for them to function."

"True, but you're not the average summoner, Kit"

"That's true, but the fact remains that I am close by and no doubt she will wake up the entire guild, if not the entire town, in order to find me. Plus, Erza always had a "Swing sword first, ask questions later" attitude back in the day", Romeo states, "And I can't exactly tell her who I am and expect her to believe me, now can I?"

"Alright, I'll go. But what are you going to do?"

"Stay here and try not to have an anxiety attack about the possibly of having to face Erza", Romeo thinks to himself before speaking, "Get an escape plan setup in case things go south. That includes possibly using one of the Teleportation Scrolls I have on me."

"We have three of those and they cost us quite a bit of time and resources to get our hands on", the fire spirit reminded his summoner.

"I realize that, now go", Romeo all but orders, "And don't kill anyone, okay?"

Kasai nods his head and takes off into the woods toward the city, leaving his internally panicking summoner in his wake.

Within moments, the fox arrives at the town and survey the area in order to get a better feel of the terrain.

"You know, for a settlement this large there sure aren't a lot of patrols out at this hour", he spoke to himself before focusing at the area that his brother and his opponent were currently about to square off, "You would think that all of this magic surging about that would attract attention but if what the Kit says about the mages in this town is correct, the humans have probably gotten so used to such displays and just ignore them. The complacency here is so astonishing that I think I might just throw up."

As he closes in on his brother's location, a familiar scent catches his nose.

"Huh, that must be where the Kit grew up. Going to have to check it out if I have the chance", he tells himself as he turns the corner and spots Rhew facing off against a woman clad in white full steel-plated armor, a spear in one hand and a sword in the other. He didn't need to make his presence known to the wolf for no doubt he sense the kitsune the second he entered Magnolia.

"Seriously, this is way too easy", Kasai muses as he steadies his breathing and slowly moves get directly behind her before striking, which would definitely be seen as dishonorable to a great deal of people but the fire spirit wasn't known as the The Trickster for nothing. Kasai was what one would consider a "combat pragmatist"; he did whatever it took to win, including sneak attacks, as long as his summoners didn't lay any ground rules for him to follow.

"The Kit only said not to kill anyone. Doesn't mean I can't main or cripple them", he thought with a sinister sneer as he got closer and closer to the woman just as she let off one last spat of magic.

"I am ready when you are to cease this barbaric display of power and proceed forward, human. I hope that you will not be too disappointing.", Kasai hears his brother say and found himself having to fight down the dark chuckle that threaten to erupt from his throat.

"Guess he has already given her three chances to stop. Oh well, that's her problem.", he tells himself before hearing the woman response back to his sibling.

"I will show you the might of the Queen of the Fairies!"

Kasai found himself abruptly coming to a halt only mere feet away from the woman who has yet to sense him.

"Well, well, well what do we have here? Another human trying to move beyond their station by making absurd claims to titles that they did not earn? Does she think herself better than the Kit and those who have gone before him merely because she is more powerful than the majority of her kind?", Kasai muses as he feels his own magic beginning to rise along with the heat in the surrounding area.

He then opens his mouth and nearly hisses the following words.

"Queen of the Fairies? Ha! You're just a mortal pretender, nothing more!", and he brace himself as the woman spun around to strike him with her spear.

Back with Romeo

"What am I going to do? What am I going to do? What am I going to do?", Romeo asks himself as he frantically paces back and forth in the second guild hall, "This is all happening way too fast! Why Ezra of all people? Pantherlily is one thing but this is a whole new thing in its entirety!"

Memories of Ezra aggressively hounding dark mages and other enemies of Fairy Tail flash in Romeo's head; her sword brandish and her rage unchecked, only rein in by the likes of Master Makarov.

"Rhew and Kasai should be able to hold their own against Ezra until they can find an opening to escape but if someone else shows up...", he says before trailing off, wondering if things were going to get worse before they get better.

"Maybe they were right, maybe I should have been straight forward with everyone."

Back in Magnolia

SNAP!

"How rude! To attack someone you just met! I must say that I'm quite shock by such behavior from you, human!", Kasai lets out, even though his mouth was currently full with the spear that Ezra swung at him.

"How did he sneak up on me?!", Ezra wonders as she tries to pry her spear free of this new foe's jaws, but to no avail as he tightens his teeth around it.

"Let's get rid of this pesky thing, shall we?", Kasai states before yanking the weapon out of her hand with a mighty tug, sending it flying over the city and crashing straight through the front door of the Kardia Cathedral.

The Requip Mage barely has time to react to such a feat before a growl from behind reminds her that there was another combatant facing off against her and she quickly sidesteps out of the way as Rhew comes lunging past her, so close that part of her face goes slightly numb from the sheer cold he was emitting while his jaws shut tight around her sword, shattering in two as easily as one would break a twig. Upon him passing completely by her, the mage leaps backwards, putting a great deal of distance between the two parties.

The Ice spirit lands alongside his fiery brother and the proximity of them being so close to one another began to create a billow of steam in the area. While this was going on, Rhew spits out the piece of the sword that was in his mouth before letting out a growl as his magic level return to normal.

"Let it be known that I never asked for your assistance, Kasai", Rhew voices as he turns around and glares down his sibling, "I could have dealt with this annoyance myself."

"And I'm you could, oh dear brother of mine. But the Kit sent me here to check up on you, Rhew. You got a problem with that, take it up with him", Kasai replies with a smile, "So as much as I would like to partake in a good scrap this night, we must be going."

"Hmph", came Rhew's response as he refocuses his attention back on Ezra.

"Consider yourself most fortunate tonight, human. It would seem that more important manners than you require my attention, so this is farewell. You should pray to whatever god or goddess you worship that we do not cross paths again.", he says before both him and Kasai turn around to leave.

As Ezra watches them begin walking away she looks down at the broken weapon still in her hand. The sword, partly crafted from purest of silver by the most skilled blacksmith in all of Ishgar, was given to her by Queen Hisui herself on the day she was knighted and declared a Wizard Saint by the Magic Council. Since that day, it has been one of her greatest assets in the never-ending battle against dark mages and likes that would bring harm to the innocent. Using a enhancement technique taught to her by former Guild Master Makarov, she was able to imbue her own magic into it and even more powerful, capable of striking down almost any foe with a single strike. In due time it would have been considered a legendary weapon that future knight would wield and she was on the verge of finally giving it a name.

She had it by her side on her wedding day and it was there the day she brought both her son and daughter into this world.

And now it was shatter and broken with part of it lying on the streets of Magnolia...and the rest of it violently shaking in her hand.

"This will not stand", she says in a low whisper before her anger began rapidly escalated.

This! Will! Not! Stand!", she declares again right before she release a pulse of magic that briefly engulf a large portion of the town.

Both Rhew and Kasai find themselves coming to a halt, but instead of looking back at the Requip Mage, they both share a look.

"She's going to be one of those types, isn't she? The kind that doesn't leave well-enough alone?", Kasai asks.

"That would seem to be the case", Rhew replies, "Am I to assume that the Pup instructed us to only fight if we have no choice?"

"He did, and if we were to tell him that we try to get away without a fight, we wouldn't be lying. I mean, at this point, it's out of our hands, paws, claws, whatever", Kasai smiles as he and the Ice Spirit turn around to face Erza, though they both sat down on their hind legs to do so, "Though I won't lie that tonight has been quite eventful."

"Indeed it has ",Rhew concurs.

Holding up her left hand up toward the cathedral Erza began focusing her magic. Within moments, her golden spear escapes from the confines of the church and soar once more across the town and right back into her possession. Sheathing the remains of her sword, Erza now grips the spear with both hands and began spinning it above her head. She was doing so at such a high velocity that it began to create a miniature tornado in the process. Neither Kasai or Rhew were affected by this but their surroundings were as litter, loose rocks, and even the nearby water that wasn't frozen began to be drawn into her makeshift vortex. Windows began to rattle and tree leaves from the nearby Southgate Park began to tear off and converge on Erza's position.

"How is that no one in this entire town has responded to all of this? Are they all such heavy sleeper, including the guards who should be on patrol?", Rhew thought as he and Kasai stood there waiting for this displaying of power to be concluded.

And concluded it did as Erza ceases her actions and slams her spear onto the ground next to her, cracking the rocks underneath it. All the objects that were spinning in her cyclone, including the water, then came crashing down on top of her. The rocks ding off her armor and while the water temporarily drench her, it soon evaporated off, such was the intensity of the magic she was giving off. Everything else either floated away on the wind or landed directly on the ground around the mage. A moment later, Erza points a finger at the spirits.

"You will surrender this instant or I will be force to use more serious measures to bring you to justice!", she then shouts.

Rhew and Kasai look at one another for a moment, seemingly ignoring the mage for a moment as they laid down to talk.

"Why does the Kit idolize this human again?", Kasai asks, "I fail to see what makes her so admirable."

"Indeed, this human is willing to fight us despite being outnumber and outmatch within the confines of a populated settlement. Not exactly a quality of chivalry if you ask me", Rhew agrees.

"Truly the signs of a brute, if I do say so myself", Kasai said in a mocking pompous attitude, "So uncivilized."

"Quite", Rhew adds.

"Do you think we should try to move this out of the town though?", Kasai questions, "Kit isn't going to be too happy if we destroy the place."

"I am fully confident we can keep collateral damage to a minimal. I believe this place is full of large open areas if we are in need of them", Rhew replies.

As the spirits talk back and forth Erza merely stood there watching the exchange with confusion and surprise.

"Am I being ignored?", she thought before her perplexity gave way to anger, "HOW DARE THEY?!"

Once more, another magic spike erupts from Erza along with a proclamation...

"I am Sir Erza Scarlet Fernandes! I am a Wizard Saint of Ishgar, a knight of Crocus, as well as a former Guild Master of Fairy Tail, and I demand your respect!", as she points her spear at them.

Both Fire and Ice then began to sit back up, still looking at each other while doing so and after a brief moment, they both then turn to look Erza in unison. As Kasai's fiery tail began to rev up and Rhew's tail began to produce a frosty mist, two magical circles appear beneath them.

The one for Rhew was nearly identical to the one he used earlier only it had far more symbols and runes; almost filled to the brim with them. Kasai, on the other hand, was chalk full of the same runes and symbols though they took on a fiery essence.

Without warning, the magic levels of the two spirits skyrocketed, engulf the two in pillars of fire and ice that shot up into the sky, though their bodies could still be made out through all the energy

"You demand our respect?", Rhew repeats.

"Ha! Couldn't be farther from the truth!", Kasai laughs, "No, human, you demand our attention!"

The Fire Spirit then open his eyes to their fullest and Erza found herself staring into what she could only describe as twins suns. The intensity within them was so great that she was sure she would go blind if she had to stare into them for a period of time at a close distance.

"And you have received it", they both said in unison as they brandished their teeth and claws, "Woe unto you."

Suddenly, the two of them launch themselves at Erza, leaving small craters in their wake.

The Requip Mage acts quickly and once more readies herself for battle.

"This will truly be a battle for the ages! One that will cement my place in the annals of history!", Erza boasts as she rushes headlong toward her foes, overcome by a feeling that she has not felt in over a decade.

The thrill of facing a powerful new foe. The sensation of not knowing whether or not she would emerge victorious. The joy of finally able to put all her countless hours of training alongside her husband to use. This was the adrenaline rush that she has been longing for, the one that she usually criticizes guys like Natsu and Gajeel for having. But here she was, basically drowning in this almost long forgotten emotion and she was unable, or unwilling, to stop the next words from escaping from her mouth...

" COME! SHOW ME WHAT PASSES FOR FURY AMONGST YOUR MISBEGOTTEN KIND!"

A/N: You ever notice in anime/manga or even Western Comic Books sometimes, there could be a huge battle going on in city at night yet no one wakes up to investigate. Yeah, let's just let that rule apply here.

As you can see Erza is now:

1. A Wizard Saint

2. A Royal Crocus Knight.

3. Married to Jellal and has a family.

4. Hasn't had a challenging fight since the 100 Years Quest.

5. Has a bit of a pride issue along with some battlelust.

6. Wants to leave her mark on the world in a way.

Do realize that not all of the same people Romeo knew 13 years ago will not necessarily be the same people they are now. For better or for worse.
