CHAPTER 7
Author's note: So, hello, it has been a while to be honest i have been having trouble with making this chapter, i know where i want it to go, but i cant convey it in the way i want, or maybe some kind of writers block, this start is being written at 2 am so it might not end up making sense
Upon the next morning Nagato woke up earlier than normal, he streched a little bit before getting out of bed carfully making sure he didn't wake up Ito trying to wake up completely he went to the bathroom and washed his face taking a good look ta his face in the mirror as always tired, he wished that sleeping was better for him, everytime he went to sleep he woke up in the same state he was in yesterday but worse, he only ever felt rested and better after being awake for a good while, giving him his habit of waking up early everyday, he blinked several times to wake up more and looked at his own brown eyes he carefully craked his own neck making a rather satisfing loud craking sound, putting on his Jounin uniform. Nagato finished getting dressed and steep out of the room carefully to not wake up Ito, Making his way to the inn's lobby. He found Mukata already waiting there, sipping on a cup of tea "Good morning', Nagato greeted him
Mukata simply nodded in response, not one for small talk, Nagato took a seat across from him and poured himself a cup of tea as well. "Where's Akai?" He asked, taking a sip of his tea.
Mukata shrugged.."Sleeping, I presume"
"would you mind waking her up in a minute?, i's early so we can give them a minute to get ready"
"Of course, do i wake up Ito too?"
"I mean… if you wanna die"
"Then no" Mukata said before taking a sip of hes tea
"Have i ever told you that it's really hard to have a coversation with you?"
"Everytime we have a mission together, if i remember correctly you told me that even before, when we were on the academy"
" You never change, do you?, anyway we should have some idea of what we are going to do"
"Correct, for now we'll go around the outskirts of town setting some of my traps while Akai an Meno chek for suspicious smells or tracks, if we can we should investigate mere about the people around, i don't fully believe ths story about the BaguKibabutsu"
"i mean it makes sense, most likely it is some king of animal, maybe some kind of bear, or…uh, well some animal capable of eating a body entirely"
"Maybe, i'd say maybe ther is a hole that leads to a cave sistem under the town, that would evplaing how they disappeared, anf the bug spirit thing would be a combination of stress and paranoia"
"That makes more sense"
"why is your first guess for everything, just a really big animal?"
'i don't know, i guess the most accurate explination is that i always have wanted to fight a big animal"
"Didn't you already fight one of those gigant scorpions on Suna last time we went to the sand sea?"
"Yeah, but it was a juvenile one, and Akai did most of the work with Meno"
"That's true", Mukata finished his tea and put it away, " anyway, i'll go wake up Akai, you wake up Ito"
"couldn't you wake her up?" Nagato simply simled hoping he could get out of this
"She. is. your. wife" in an instant Mukata disappeared in a leaf shunshin, leaving him alone.
with no other silly excuses he made his way upstairs to the room he shared with Ito, once he got there he tried to wake her up, no result
"honey?, Ito!" he tried shaking her a bit, still no results
there he got a rather fun idea.
One he stood next to her side of the bed he extended his hands over her and started molding chakra producing a small bunch of water like a sphere , was this a waste of chakra, yes, but it still might be funny. he dropped the ball of water over her, this immediately woke her up
"ah!, God, Nagato the fuck?!"
"i would have never had a chance to do it otherwise"
Ito's surprised and annoyed expression soon turned into a light smile, followed by a small chuckle. "Why did I marry you?" she playfully asked.
Nagato laughed, "Because you love me."
"i'm guessing it's gonna be time for us to go and put the traps around"
"Yup, Mukata and i already designed or rather sort of sketched a plan for today"
"let me get ready, then i'll go downstairs, and don't you dare thorw any more water at me"
"Haha, no promises" Nagato formed a little bit of water on the tip of his index finger and leting it
fall before leaving the room "i'll be waiting for you"
"Yeah, yeah" Ito got up from bed, stretched and got dressed getting her ninja gear on and quickly geting out of the room, going downstairs and seeing Akai with the others drinking coffee.
"Good Morning everyone!' she said lightly stretching
"Oh, hi ito!" Aka was playing with Meno, how was particularly energetic this norning essencialy jumping around, while Nagato wrote something on a notepad and Mukata closing what seemed like a large bear trap covered with seals and putting it into a backpack, he limited himself to waving at her.
"What do we have planed for today?" ito said as she put her small backpack and ninja pouch on the table checking if she had everything she needed, some small glass bottles each continuing antidotes or other delicate medical supllies separated by bits of hand sewn leather, everything seemed in place.
"Well, Mukata and I made a rough outline of a plan. We will go around the town and look for any kind of clues to the disappearances. I personally bet there is some kind of bear, you know because of the whole humanoid part of humanoid cicada-man spirit thingy," Nagato said as he spun a kunai on his finger.
"Correct. Akai and Meno will go ahead with Nagato. Their sense of smell and chakra perception skills should help to get more knowledge on the area. Maybe there's some kind of cave system or sinkhole that people just fall into by chance. Anyway," Mukata shook his head lightly, reorganizing his thoughts, "Ito and I will be slightly behind, placing some basic traps in case we are dealing with some kind of large wild animal. Understood?"
Everyone nodded in agreement. As usual, everyone got their gear organized and set off for the general outside of town.

Author's note: Thanks everyone for reading this chapter i have been trying my hand here and in the next chapter to write brand new characters, instead of the naruto characters that already existed, i would really appreciate if anyone wants to give me a review to ask me anything or just give me some advice on how to improve, a little side note i wanted to say, i forgot Nagato Uzumaki was someone, yup the Nagato father of my self incert protag has no relation to the Uzumaki nagato, so, bye see you next chapter i wont take this long again
