Merge
Day 28
Chun-Li, Cyrax, Daisy, Dark Samus, Monty, Rocket, Sektor, Silver Sonic, and Ulala
The three reward winners arrive, and walk across the shore first. It wasn't..the best reward for a couple people, and if there was a different group it would have been better.
Daisy's scraping inside their pot with a rock, when they approach her.
"Have fun?" She asks.
Sektor just jumps on the chance. "Yes. We got a great view. Got to see a mosque floating in water. Even stopped by the highest peak in Borneo. We were around thirteen-thousand feet in the air."
"Nice."
"You really should have been there. It's a shame you can't win." The red cyborg walks right past her, and into the jungle. She looks up from the pan, and slams the rock he was using onto the sand. "What the hell?"
Cyrax takes a seat. "That was unnecessary."
"Why's he a bigger dick than usual?"
"He confronted me, and it didn't go in his favor." Cyrax spills. He lets her know about everything he called Sektor out for. Wanting to isolate him from allies, the superiority complex, and calling the conversation off when he couldn't get what he wanted.
"He can cry about it. He has no lives left."
"He'll find a way. I suspect he'll start blowing players games just to get ahead." Cyrax guesses.
"Hey, it doesn't matter what he says, I'm voting with you. No matter what."
"It's pleasant that someone else won't be swayed."
"That's what he does. Can't sway us though." Daisy says with a reassuring smile.
Daisy: I don't know who shat in his salad, but that's NO reason to rub it in my face, when you KNOW I really wanted to go! He drives me up the wall, so I'll drive him off this island.
Sarasaland's rep doesn't waste time taking this to Li. She lets her know about Sektor ruining his reward.
"He spoiled someone's reward, THAT'S how bad he is!" Daisy vents. "I hate him, he sucks."
"That's true, but remember Ulala."
"I know, I know, but I'm just saying: we can keep Rocket another day."
Li pushes back a bit. "That's awful for Cyrax to go through, but we can't flip around at the drop of a hat."
"He'll rub more rewards in my face. He can't keep getting away with this…"
"Again, we need to think about this. We don't know who has an idol or not." Li responds.
The princess just looks up, judging the star spirits. "Why?"
Daisy: If my girls can't see Sektor's poison, I don't know what I'll do. All Sektor serves me is mold, and there's a bad taste in my mouth every time he comes around.
Elsewhere, other people in Sektor's circle know what's happening. Monty and the darker Samus get together before the sun sets. The silent one of the group lays something out.
"Sektor's tanking himself. I'm willing to stick with him once more, but after that, he's done." She says.
"Huh…what the hell do we do?"
"I'll infiltrate the women, appeal to their senses. You're better off bonding with the other guys. I'm sure Rocket will jam out with you." She answers.
"I dunno…they could sniff us out like THAT." The gator fails to snap a finger. "You get it."
"No."
"No?"
"Once Sektor's finished, we won't have targets. They see us as followers. That's our chance to sink our teeth in. Survive another day." She explains.
"That's cool..what If we survive?"
"We see from there."
Dark Samus: I'm initiating our plans. The gator seems like a lazy ally but if we make it to the finals, I can use that against him and win. It's better to prepare for the shot at Sektor now, than be blindsided. It's impossible to catch us odd guard when he digs his own grave.
Immunity Challenge
Day 29
"Come on in!"
The castaways enter the challenge area. Jeff's right next to that necklace stand, and eyes (Dark) Samus. She understands, and unhooks the necklace, handing it over to to the host. He hooks it on and turns to the nine.
Monty has his eyes on that necklace.
Monty: If that wrinkly old hag jabs me again, I'm gonna lose it.
Be careful, Jeff might put you on the blacklist.
Back to the challenge, Jeff gets down to business. "Immunity is back up for grabs. For today's challenge, you're going to balance on a narrow perch, while holding a buoy between two handles. If at any point the buoy drops, or you fall off the perch..you're out."
The return of "Can't Buoy Me Love" from Game Changers.
"Last person left standing wins immunity, safe from the vote. Losers, Tribal Council where someone will become the third member of our jury."
A fate nobody wants.
"Take your spot—
"Jeff." All eyes go to Monty. "Why do you always got us doing endurances?"
"You're a strong gator, you should figure it out." Jeff snaps back.
"I'm first out all the time."
"That's what they call a 'you' problem. This game breaks your body down, it's up to you to adapt." Jeff explains, but the gator's not hearing it, throwing those hands up. "Yeah yeah.."
"Now before I was rudely interrupted..take your spots and we'll get started."
The castaways got those handles crushing the buoy on both ends. Fourth immunity of the merge, who's taking it?
"I'm going to count you in.."

"Here we go, for immunity. Everyone's in a good spot, so…
.
.
.
"This challenge is on."
They hold steady at first. Surely Jeff's narration won't be distracting.
"Hasn't been done with any of these casts, someone will be the first to win it."
Monty, Silver, and Rocket start to squirm. It's an awkward pose to hold, especially with two handles. It looks like someone is about to drop the buoy…
Silver Sonic does.
"Silver's out of this challenge. Monty, looks like your streak is over."
"Hahah—" His buoy drops! "..Damn!"
"Let's see if you can get third-to-last next time." Jeff won't let it go.
While the gator joins his brethren on the bench, Rocket starts to squirm. That buoy's sliding down, and no matter how hard Rocket presses those handles together, nothing works.
"Rockets out, no shot at immunity. We are down to six."
Those remaining are…well trying their best. Some are teetering just to keep a good hold on their buoys. There's a cost to leaning too far. Ulala learns that as she steps off!
"Ulala's out, we are down—"
DSamus has to step off!
"Nevermind, that's two down!
Those two head to the loser bench with everyone else, as the four remaining try their best. There's always that squirming, but nobody seems to be in jeopardy yet..
Cyrax's buoy pops out.
"Just like that, we are down to three. These challenges are harder than they look on television." Jeff narrates.
Chun-Li, already won once. Daisy and Sektor, first timers who have come close before. All of them are shaking at this point, already getting to them. Almost quicker than the last endurance/balance challenge.
On the bench, the fallen make their predictions.
"The winner will have the best combination of balance and for e. Balance due to the buoy and perch below, and the force to keep the buoy in its place. Samus showcased this skill during the last one." Silver Sonic on an infodump.
"Yeah.." Ulala starts. "I'm betting on Li, she's a beast."
"She failed the last time. Samus was more recent."
"Li literally won six days ago!"
Ulala: …I'm done with him.
It's down to Sektor and Daisy. One will claim immunity for the first time, while the other will go home empty handed.
"A new winner.." (Jeff)
Daisy's glaring at her buoy, still in it out of spite for the cyborg. Sektor's squirming, but uses footwork to recover. Both are desperate for this win, and it's like mother nature is the only force that can stop them.
They keep powering through it, but in every players life there comes a time when someone eats defeat. One of them is about to get a very sour taste…
.
.
.
Sektor's ball drops first! Which means…
"DAISY WINS INDIVIDUAL IMMUNITY!"
"FUCK YEAH!" She punts her buoy into the next dimension, and gets a hug from Li.
"Happy?!" Li asks with a grin.
"Hell yeah!" Daisy jogs towards the necklace stand turns around. "Do it, Jeff! Do it!"
Jeff laughs as he wraps that necklace around her. "This is the most happy I've seen you all season."
"It's been FOUR WHOLE weeks. That's like four years on the island! Could you imagine losing over and over for four years?" Daisy asks.
"It must suck. Congratulations." Jeff's smile at her, turns to a grim expression when he faces the eight who lost. "As for everybody else, somebody going home tonight. Grab your stuff, head back to camp, I'll see you tonight at Tribal."
The final nine, soon to be eight, moves back to camp. The immunity winner is thrilled, that grin unmovable. Second on the other hand…
He throws a rock behind him in confession!
Sektor: If I made one slight adjustment, if I..
For the first time, he trails off. This loss is too much to comprehend.
Sektor: Li's strong, i foresaw that…but a loss to HER?! She will remind me for the rest of my days…
Merged Tribe
Day 29
They arrive back at camp, and the immunity winner gets her props.
"It's about time!" (Ulala)
"Some would say it's long overdue." (Silver Sonic)
She still has that grin on. "Thank you, thank you, I'm just glad I wasn't suffering for NOTHING."
Daisy: I'm riding on a high! Come back to camp, have an easy vote. Oh wait, it's not.
There's no time wasted when it comes to covering ass, as the three..more heroic machines and what's left of the people meet up.
"This is the six." Rocket says, and they put their hands in the middle.
"Anyone got a name?" Daisy asks.
"The Six." Rocket throws that hand up, and they disband.
Rocket: I'm depending on my worst enemies to keep me here. Yeah, we'll go at it again next time if I even get one, but we got a common enemy now. He spoiled my friend's trip, talked down to someone else, and we're not having that! I hope they join my dark side instead of Sucktor's.
Cut to the three more..let's say villainous machines meeting up with those women, and even Cyrax. "This is the seven."
THEY PUT THEIR HANDS IN THE MIDDLE, AGAIN.
"What's our name?" Daisy asks.
"..it's obvious." Sektor answers.
"If you say it's 'The Seven' I'll find you."
"..some people never change."
Daisy: There's still three of us, cruising in the middle…well four because Cyrax is done with his BS. Someone's getting the boot, and if it's Rocket I'm going to lose my mind. I'll fight for that raccoon with my LIFE.
The swings of the night sit in the water, refreshing for their skin, and thought. Nobody can really barge in unless they move in slow motion.
"I hate how Sektor tries scaring his own people into his plans. What a terrible ally! I want to ship him back where he came from." Daisy rants.
"That's getting personal." Li says, but the princess is stuck on it.
"He loves getting personal, it's a taste of his own medicine."
"It's petty."
"Well..yeah." She admits.
Ulala speaks up. "It's either a bad liar, or a good liar. We should get the good one. If he gets past, he could seriously win." She explains.
"Rocket at least TRIES to talk to us."
"Daisy…that's what he wants you to think." Ulala snaps back.
"Look, I'll take him over an antagonistic asswipe." Daisy, chill!
"We at least KNOW what Sektor does. Rocket could lie and we'd go back and forth!" Ulala counters. "He's the bigger threat, and we still have Silver to deal with."
"SILVER? His social game sucks, he won't work with anyone who's not Rocket. If we don't take Sektor out, he's coming for us anyway! Why can't we just…trim the fat early?" Daisy asks, ragging on Silver's game. Given how rarely Silver talks about himself, she may have a point.
Li steps in. "
Their three-way discussion gets interrupted, when Cyrax swims over. "Sorry I'm late."
"That's ok. We're making the call on who goes." Li explains. "Struggling to agree though."
"Who's the name?" The cyborg asks.
In Li's confession, she tells it as it is.
Chun-Li: I want both of our targets taken out, but it's a shame we can't vote two people in one night. Whatever choice we make tonight, affects who comes for us later.
While those women are deciding where to go for the night…Sektor pulls Cyrax aside for another one on one. This can only go well.
"It doesn't matter how many times we clash, you'll always be my first choice for anything." Sektor…trying to make up for something?
"Hm."
"If you don't believe me, look at the other target. Rocket's first choice was Clank, not you, and I removed Clank so we could move further. Together." Sektor puts a hand on his comrade's shoulder, but it's swipes away.
"You wait all night to apologize..until right before Tribal? What game are YOU playing?" Cyrax asks.
"We'll play strategically getting Rocket out. If I'm here, they will pity you. All the attention will go to me." Sektor argues. "Rocket hasn't done anything but win immunity."
"You haven't been paying attention." Cyrax says.
"LISTEN." Sektor breaches his personal space. "If the votes are going my way, I request one thing."
"What's your request?"
"Right before we walk to Tribal, give me the idol, I will play it. Rocket goes home, and I have the biggest target on my back." Sektor..with a crazy play here.
"Intriguing…"
"Is it enough to believe me?"
"Give me a moment."
Cyrax leaves Sektor alone. Instead of anger..what Cyrax is feeling is indescribable. Is he happy to have the control? Sad to see his biggest connection break? The only one who knows is him.
Sektor: My life is in his hands. I saved his life to start, he wouldn't be here without me. It's time he repay the favor.
The clouds are out, and sprinkles crash onto the island.
While his ally worries for his game, Cyrax grabs his torch first, nobody else is around. Until a figure appears behind the cyborg.
"Glad you could make it…"
Cyrax talks to this figure in the b-roll, while a confessional airs.
Cyrax: These factions can vote whoever they want. What I do with this idol is going to guarantee someone's safety, and end someone's game. Rocket versus Sektor. This play will determine who wins.
Tribal Council
Night 29
The sprinkles resume.
The castaways enter the Tribal Council set. Jeff's waiting for them in his usual spot at the podium. They've got their torches in hand and hit the fire pit, where they light those babies up.
"Dip your torches in the fire. Fire represents your life, once it's gone…so are you."
They take a seat on the stumps provided and set their torches in those holes. The fourth tribal of the merge is set to begin, and someone's going to be joining Rick and Drax on that jury bench across from them.
Rick and Drax are grinning ear to ear on when they spot Daisy with the necklace.
"So proud of her." Rick says.
"She went four weeks without a win." Drax notes.
"..four weeks?"
"Yes."
"..wow. THAT long."
Back to those still in the game, they are seated, and Jeff kicks this Tribal Council off. "Alright. There's an unspoken agreement on Survivor, which is nobody can be trusted, but everyone will trust a few people. That's what makes a betrayal possible. Chun-Li, last Tribal looked like another one."
"It was. Ever since we merged it's been betrayal after betrayal. We're all playing to win, whether we have a group or not." She responds.
"Monty, based off what she said, do you see fractures WITHIN these alliances?"
"I've seen a hundred by now. Drax stabbed Rick in the back. We stabbed Drax in the back. It's a matter a' time till someone stabs me in the back."
Jeff sets his sights on Ulala. "Everyone feels a small sense of dread. Maybe they'll stick with me? But maybe they've been lying to me the whole time?"
"It sucks, but we have to face the music.
Jeff faces the red cyborg. "Sektor, are you as nonchalant as she is about Tribal Council?"
"It's a new challenge the longer I stay. I'm the likeliest one for a blindside. These people have convinced themselves I'm the biggest target. I'm far from it."
All eyes fall on him.
"So you're not even trying to hide your target?" Jeff asks.
"No point. I'm getting votes for every Tribal Council until I'm gone."
Jeff leans forward. "Do you think that's justified?"
"It's a matter of perspective. If you don't like how I manuever, you aren't cold enough for this game."
Ulala shakes her head. "Oh no…"
"Yes Sektor, It's so cool to treat your allies like shit! Get out of here with that!" Daisy says, stepping into the verbal ring with him. "You can play without making it personal!"
"What's the matter, Daisy? I thought we were allies?" The smug tone in his voice sets her off.
"You constantly guilt trip them, rub stuff in their faces—"
"What have I rubbed in your face?" He asks.
"You know what you said. You said I can't go on rewards because I don't win. Guess who has the necklace, and guess who choked." Daisy's lashing him.
"How disrespectful."
"I can't respect you. You are a terrible ally, and just REFUSE to change anything!"
"I don't have to."
Daisy just starts laughing. "You're joking right? In the game about adapting, you won't adapt?"
"You haven't changed that obnoxious personality. Maybe if you spoke less you wouldn't be a victim tonight." Sektor looks right at Cyrax, and holds a hand out. "When I play the idol I rightfully earned, you will regret this moment."
"Here you go, using Cyrax again. Give the guy a break!"
"He's not naive. Keeping me around benefits him more than me." Sektor explains.
Cyrax shakes his head. "I'm still deciding."
"..still? STILL? Don't be naive." Sektor sets his focus on his ally. That cold exterior melting away each second. "They don't—"
"Over. And over. And over." Cyrax invades HIS personal space! "Repetition isn't going to get you out of this. Be patient."
Sektor's just frozen. Daisy's grinning, leaning on Li like she just won the lottery. "It's happening…"
Li keeps a straight face. "We'll see.."
The cyborg breaks from his freeze, and turns to Jeff. "See what I mean? To them, I'm an untrustworthy snake..but I can be a useful number."
"..then who would you want?" Li asks.
"Rocket."
The raccoon chuckles. "Hahahaha, ok buddy. Who do YOU want?"
"..I'm comfortable with what I stated."
"No no no, if you're gonna be a number you have to go for someone that isn't me." Rocket points out. "But you keep trying to play the women. They see right through you."
"They'll pick your friends off. Do you want to be a passenger?"
"I don't play like some passenger. I flipped this game at the right time, AND we're putting our differences aside. If anyone's in trouble, it's YOU. Did it to yourself." Rocket's bashing Sektor, like he has years of anger to take out on him. Or weeks.
"After I'm gone, you'll be the biggest threat."
"You're not a shield, you're a sword that's gonna impale me. Ok?" The raccoon points a finger. "You NEVER wanted to work with me. I don't owe you shit."
The jury bench is freaking out.
"Get him…" Rick mutters.
"This is fantastic." Drax says. "Four warriors riding into the battlefield, but only one will be sacrificed."
"Ones getting jumped." The leader adds.
Sektor just turns back to Jeff after the beatdown he's getting. "See what I mean?"
Jeff leans to the side. "They don't like you."
"They're hear to make friends. I'm here to win money."
"That's a motive to win..but it's not all about the money. You need relationships to survive." Jeff joining in. "You can't play this game alone."
"I'm not alone. I have numbers, but they aren't enough. Rocket showed his rear, boasting about how he betrayed the women left in the game, and I'm sure they haven't forgotten." He turns to the trio. "My relationship with Rocket is burnt..but WE can continue marching to seven. Are you going to let him get away with what he did?"
That question causes the three women to get in a huddle, and whisper. The other six just watch, as they break up and come to a decision.
"Come to a consensus?" Jeff asks.
"Everyone will know when the votes are read." Li responds, shutting down spoilers.
"If we're ready, it is time to vote. Rocket, you're up first."
The raccoon practically jogs to the booth.
Rocket immediately writes his name down.
Rocket: Fuck you. (Sektor)
Sektor walks in and wastes no time.
Sektor: Go away. (Rocket)
Cyrax: This is for the best. I've gotten to know you for who you are. (?)
After I'll go tally the votes…" he goes to retrieve the voting urn. Rocket and Sektor watch as he hits the booth. Both are big targets, and they've clawed to nine. But the journey for one ends tonight.
Once Jeff fetches that urn, he heads back to the podium, and places it there.
"If anyone has a hidden immunity idol or advantage they'd like to play, now would be the time to do so…"
Sektor turns to his fellow cyborg. "Will you stay loyal to the clan? Or put on a rebellious facade?"
Cyrax puts a finger on his chin. "Hmm."
"Don't be a coward. Do what's right."
"…I would if i had it." Almost everyone gasps. All that time pleading for the idol, and it's gone.
"That sucks, cause I do." All eyes fall on Rocket, who gets up and pulls that idol out. Drax applauds on the jury, while Rick gets an arm in the way to stop him.
Sektor just stares at Cyrax in disappointment. "You shill."
"Your fault."
That cold reply makes Sektor turn back to the walking Rocket, those blue eyes piercing through him. The raccoon sets his idol on the podium. "I'm playin' it for me."
"This..IS a hidden immunity idol. Any votes cast for Rocket will not count." Jeff confirms.
Sektor's hands cover his face! It's over. Four weeks in Borneo, and he blows it in his final days. All he can do is watch as Jeff reads the parchment. Rocket sits down, smiling the most he has all season.
"I'll read the votes. First vote.."
.
.
"Rocket. Does not count."
Sektor just stares ahead. Just waiting for his name.
.
.
"Rocket. Does not count."
The raccoon pats Cyrax on the back. "Good move." he whispers.
.
.
"Rocket. Does not count."
Daisy starts to smile. It's like three birthdays in one.
.
.
"Sektor."
Cyrax just stares into the camera, like he just killed a man.
"Sektor. That's two votes Sektor.."
.
.
"Tenth person voted out, and the third member of our jury…Sektor. Bring me your torch."
#Betrayal
The cyborg grabs his torch, and looks Cyrax in the eyes. "I know what you did."
"I don't know what you're talking about."
Sektor turns his back on him. "Disgrace. Utter disgrace." He walks over to Jeff and sets his torch down. "Put my fire out before I do something I regret."
"So bossy.." Ulala whispers.
Jeff raises his snuffer. "Sektor…"
"…"
"The tribe has spoken."
SNUFF…
"Time for you to go."
Sektor turns back to the group. "You have clear threats on the board. If you don't take them out before the finale, you're smoother than you look." He looks at the sky, sprinkles coming down. "How fitting."
He leaves the tribal council area. Now he has to occupy the jury.
While he leaves, Li gets Cyrax's attention. "You aren't a disgrace. He's just bitter."
"It's typical." The cyborg admits.
When Sektor's out of view, Jeff faces those remaining. "Looks like we found out, didn't we? Head back to camp, good night."
The eight castaways grab their torches and leave the Tribal Council set. That's a third betrayal on the list, but we're in the mid-merge. Some may have to stick to their guns, while others will have to take more risks and establish themselves.
Sektor's Final Words
Sektor: Betrayed by my brother in arms. Instead of pleading for his loyalty, I should have went behind his back long ago. Blow up the sneaky game he's playing. He just made a flashy move that Pest will get heat for, and seems to be loved by everyone. What's more frustrating is that I'll have to reward this traitor if he gets to the end, because...he's STILL Cyber Lin Kuei. The Grandmaster said one of us must win.
He balls a fist.
Sektor: If I ever need these games again, it is on sight.

After escaping three tribals, Sektor's time has come to an end at the hands of his Day One. Sektor was a bold villain on the season, doing anything to get ahead. From the firemaking tiebreaker, to a huge hit of an idol play, to uniting with enemies to take Drax out. In the end, his gameplay, and refusal to see Cyrax's perspective done him in. He was acting disrespectful, and got treated with such at Tribal.
To some in the cast, you get treated, based on how you treat others.
With a new member on the jury, the clock ticks to add someone else. Who will win immunity? Who will be going home next? What developments will we get? Find out next time! :D
