Sachi dodged a plume of flames shot from Azula's right foot as he rolled away. The 15-foot year old Fire Bender looked at the 16-year Princess as launched a fireball from his left fist. The green embers expanded towards Azula who easily knocked the flames aside with her palm.

"You know the last of these blasts could have burned me if you were serious." Sachi stated as he brushed off the blackish training robe he wore.

Azula patted down the red robe she wore and looked at her bare feet which began to ache from the fast-paced duel that the duo was having.

(Present Day)

Azula knew something was wrong. The military officials which made up the upper echelons of the Fire Nation Navy and Army were too quiet.

Azula sighed as soldiers walked back towards the grand hall of the palace. She needed to know what was going on.

"Colonel Shinu!" Azula yelled as the Colonel stopped and turned to look at the 17-year-old Princess of the Fire Nation.

Shinu was the commander of the Yuyan Archers. Azula was aware of their talents…. Ozai had asked one to murder her mother's former lover.

He failed, and Ozai? Even as a prince, his cruelty knew no bounds. Azula memorized every word she heard at the age of 12.

'The Yuyan Archers are an elite unit, the best of the best. You no longer belong.' Azula thought to herself. She knew for a fact that the man was given an impossible duty.

"Your highness?" Shinu questioned as Azula folded her arms behind her back.

"What's happening? I thought Zuko was going to the meeting?" Azula asked as Shinu shook his head and looked to the side.

"Agni Kai." Shinu pointed while Azula's eyes widened. Her lips pulled into a frown as the worst thoughts possible flowed through her mind like drops in water into the ocean.

"Who?" Azula questioned, Shinu was aware Azula knew what happened. They were allies, Shinu was one of the few people… One of the first people who support Azula's ambition to have a fire lord who wasn't a monster. "Shinu, don't tell me." Azula stated while frowning, her lips pulled upwards an inch more.

Azula ran towards the courtyard. Ozai wouldn't hurt her younger brother, she'd have his head if he hurt Zuko.

The training room was fire proof. Azula had made sure of it. She continued to throw jabs which sent walls of fire at Sachi who barely avoided the hits.

"You ok?" Azula questioned as Sachi arched his back and wobbled to his feet.

"I-I think… Ugh, I think you almost broke my spine." Sachi said while dusting himself off again.

"That wouldn't have done anything to your spine." Azula said with a smile while Sachi rolled his eyes and looked at her with amusement. "Besides, this is training. You know I wouldn't have tried to hurt you." Azula said before Sachi hummed and raised his eyebrow.

Sachi knew the Princess was training for if she had to be in a fight. If she wanted to murder him? All Azula had to do was fire a bolt of lightning or put in just put in a little more effort.

"You're still moving forward with your plan to take out your father?" Sachi questioned and got a nod in response. Azula inclined her head slightly.

"Ozai is a megalomaniac sociopath who already drove my mother away from us." Azula stated while she motioned 2 of her servants forward. "I've already had to help protect my brother from Ozai. The only reason he hasn't murdered my brother is because the last time he tried? Uncle Iroh overpowered him and threatened him should he harm my brother again. I know more than anything that Uncle won't be Ozai away forever." Azula added as Sachi hummed once more.

"Should I point out your dad is literally the most dangerous Fire Bender in the world besides your uncle?" Sachi questioned and raised an eyebrow. "With all due respect? The second he realizes his own daughter is turning into one of his worst nightmares? He's going to murder you." Sachi stated as he turned to the side.

Sachi knew Azula was going to fight Ozai if push came to shove. Azula also made sure that Mai and Ty Lee weren't around so they could be used as leverage.

"You're honestly going to put a rebellion together?" Sachi questioned Azula who nodded. "All just to take down Ozai if he gets too dangerous?" Sachi added which also got a nod.

He sighed, there was nothing he could do to talk Azula out of this. She was a warrior. She had been since her mother left, maybe even before then.

"Ready?" Azula questioned as she prepared for more combat.

Sachi shrugged and settled into his own stance.

Author notes

Phew. Another chapter done! I also want to point out that Azula calls people by titles or such when she respects them… She doesn't call Ozai 'Father' for good reason. I also decided to make her the older sibling because she always calls Zuko little brother… That and she takes care of him. Next chapter will be in 1-4 weeks and will show more training, Azula watching the end result of the Agni Kai. It will also show Azula bonding with Sachi and her talking to Zuko before he leaves.
