Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Mask of the dragon. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Avatar, Nick, Michael Dante DiMartino, and Bryan Konietzko do.

(Fire Nation Empire class Battleship Ember's Spear.)

"So, our plan is recruiting a pair of girls?" One of the soldiers asked which made Sachi hum with amusement.

"Not exactly." Sachi put in as he clicked his tongue. "Both Mai and Ty Lee are really good fighters. Azula wanted them recruited for good reason. Did you want me to remind you who gave me these orders?" Sachi questioned before he brushed his arms off and sighed.

Sachi knew for a fact that things wouldn't be easy. Their missions were never going to be easy. They were fighting a war for the future of their people. If they lost? The best-case scenario was they died and they were humiliated.

The worst case? The world would fall into worse chaos then before and everyone would suffer and die, the rest of the rest of the world would be destroyed.

"And our next move after that?" One of the other soldiers questioned. "We're a few hundred, the princess has to deal with her father's entire army… And no offence? We aren't exactly all that great in massive droves." The soldier added which caused Sachi to hum and blink.

"Well, it isn't exactly perfect…" Sachi agreed with as he walked to one of the doors. "But I know the princess. She's never without a plan. Not once, not ever. You leave the planning to me and get a patrol out there. You hear anything? You come get me… I have to send a message to the princess and let her know where we are." Sachi stated before he got someone to clear their throat.

"You know any mail we get will go straight to the Fire Lord." The soldier put in which caused Sachi to hum.

"Not all of it… Me and Azula found a way around that." Sachi put in before he cleared his throat and then turned. "Your dismissed. Come back when you have any information or such. We need to get our plans off the ground before Ozai gets wise to them." Sachi said and turned before leaving.

"This plan is going to be something else." Sachi put in as he sighed. He would have to find his messenger hawk. If it was another?

Then the mail would go straight to Ozai… The one Azula gifted him as a birthday gift as a hatchling? That one would report to Azula.

Sachi almost forgot how he found the bird with her… But that was saved for another time when they didn't have to worry about the thought of getting hunted down or worse. If they were hunted down so soon? This would all be for nothing.

His thoughts turned to Azula and how the princess was handling everything.

(With Azula)

Azula hummed and sat up. The princess looked over the rest of the Fire Nation. Part of her knew that this was dangerous, there was always people plotting against others.

Azula almost wanted to give her brother something else, but she couldn't. Her father ended up having too many hooks into too many people. She had to plan and wonder who she could trust, who was in her pocket.

"This is going to be much harder then I thought." Azula stated while she sighed and blinked.

Azula pushed herself back from the railing while she wondered what happened with Sachi. She could guess he would be close to his objective when it came down to it. Azula still had to worry about staging a coup against the Fire Lord.

She didn't want to end up involving her uncle. He was smart enough to know what Azula was doing. Azula had taken great pains to keep him out of this.

"If Uncle were here?" Azula questioned herself while looking at her nails. "He'd probably would be telling me how stupid this is. How I'm over my head. I'm glad he's with Zuko, if he was here? Then he'd be wanting to join me, he'd be killed. I don't plan on fighting Ozai." Azula stated while she cracked her fingers.

"Princess?" Azula heard from one of her servants. "Your ship has almost been prepared." The servant pointed out while Azula hummed and nodded.

"Thank you, that will be all." Azula responded and walked over to the servant. She placed a handful of gold pieces in her hand.

Azula knew she had to be more careful with her currency. Azula did want to reward the people loyal to her, however.

"Does Ozai know?" Azula questioned while looking around. "I remember what I told you to do." Azula told her while she walked forward.

Azula could only wonder if the rest of her allies were busy. She had given them very strict instructions, still? If she could tell them anything else?

Azula could only wonder what would happen next, there would be nothing to do for a while.

Phew, another chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will hopefully not be delayed and such. Next chapter will be in 2-10 weeks and will show Azula starting her journey and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Next chapter will be 1200 words or such. I will make a Ty Lee story and follow up the Kuvira and such.
