Greece, 1487 BCE

Storm clouds were rolling, thunder was rumbling, and chaos was reigning.

People panicked as two massive monsters charged through the lands.

One of the monsters slithered on a snake-like body with two serpent-like heads that ended on the tips of its forked tail, six other serpent heads on the sides of the monster's body, five other serpent heads making up one of each of its two arms, black fur covering its body, two enormous bat wings covered in feathers, and a horned head with a face that looked like a horse skull with ferocious teeth, and four orange glowing eyes.

The other monster also slithered on a snake-like body but with a stinger and barbs coming out of the tip of the tail, four arms ending with razor-sharp claws, a head that looked like a cross between a cobra and a human woman, two wings like that of a Draco lizard, and spikes covering its back.

Every Troop of the Greek branch were called together to stop the monsters.

They all met on top of a mountain where they observed the monsters.

"What do we know about these monsters?" one of the Troop members asked any of the others.

"Nothing, we've never seen or fought monsters like these," another said.

"Well, I know what they are," someone said.

Everyone else turned around to see a teenage boy with purple hair; it was Zeon.

"The monster with the many serpent heads is called Typhon while the other one is called Echidna," he explained. "They both have the ability to create monsters, Typhon gives her the power while Echidna creates the monsters with the power given by him."

"How do you know about those two monsters?" asked a Troop member.

"It's not important how I know about them," said Zeon. "What's important is that they need to be stopped before they create an army of monsters."

Just then, Typhon's forehead began to glow.

He placed his forehead on Echidna's forehead, and hers began to glow as well.

The glow traveled down to her sides to rows of fleshy sacs on her sides.

A couple of the sacs glowed, inflated, and then popped in a rain of mucus.

Out of the mucus came a hydra, Nemean lion, Cerberus, chimera, and sphinx.

The five monsters attacked, destroying a town, and attacking people.

"How do we stop monsters like these?" one Troop member asked any of the others.

"Don't worry," said Zeon. "I may know a way we can stop them, but you have to do exactly as I say."

Everyone else agreed with him.

The monsters continued to terrorize everyone, but some of the Troop members went ahead and only managed to drive them out of the town.

Typhon and Echidna then heard a mysterious sound that was only heard by them.

They turned to find an armada of ships on the ocean where Zeon was emitting a frequency from a monster magnet he created.

Typhon and Echidna started to follow the ships as they were drawn to the sound of the monster magnet.

The two titanic monsters slowly followed the ships to an island with a caldera.

Every Troop member on the ships ran up the hills to the top of the caldera where there was a massive metal spire.

"So, everyone's clear on what's going to happen?" asked Zeon.

"Yes, Zeus is going to send a bolt of lightning down to that spire which will disorient Typhon and Echidna," a Troop member answered. "Which will then cause the both of them to fall in this caldera down into Tartarus."

"Yeah, let's put it like that," Zeon said.

Typhon and Echidna came to the shore of the island and slithered around the caldera.

Before the both of them could attack the humans, a bolt of lightning struck the top of the spire, jolted around it, and then struck the foreheads of Echidna and Typhon.

In pain, both Typhon and Echidna fell backward into the caldera.

They were about to fly their way out of the pit, but more lightning struck the spire and bolted above the pit creating electric bars that both monsters were unable to break through.

More lighting struck all over the island's mountains causing them to crumble over the caldera.

All of the Troops quickly left the island before it shook and sank beneath the ocean.

"That takes care of that," a Troop member celebrated. "That'll be the last we see of them."

"Not quite," said Zeon. "They'll just be weakened, but they'll rise again; unfortunately, we don't know when, so maybe write down a warning for future generations of the Troop just in case."

"Right, we'll let every other Troops know about Typhon and Echidna, the father and mother of all monsters,"

"That sounds about right to me, but there's actually more to Typhon and Echidna than that," Zeon said. "They do create monsters like a mother and father, but their role is also leading all monsters like a king and queen."

"Okay, we'll let citizens who hear the stories about them know them as the father and mother of all monsters, but the Troop will refer to them as 'the king and queen of the monsters'."
